2941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: May 06, 2019, 10:28:55 AM
We live in a world where our online IDs are in the hands of the government and banks, and we rely on them to keep it secure. Blockchain IDs on the other hand, put you and you only in control. Therefore, you can store all your passwords and any other personal information on the blockchain, eliminating the need of passwords in everything. In the future, these ID services could be applied to government services, medicines and any other record keeping agency.

Blockchain system exist to combat greed and middlemen and to give individuals ultimate control of their identity and activity. In a blockchain future, we will see a world where our medical records are immediately available if we are in an accident; where online voting was possible; and where transparency was paramount and greed is disincentivized.
Firstly, what do you mean in Online ID? If you mean our private ID, then yeah, they are in hand on governments and banks and this is very logical. ID means identity document which is very neccesary for governments and for many service to make identification of you, it's another task how they secure it, btw you can't control what they do with your information like they can't control you at the moment.
Btw something that reduces government's control, won't be integrated, sorry but that's true.
2942  Bitcoin / Project Development / Haven't you thought about it? See for more on: May 05, 2019, 08:32:34 PM
Hi guys, as I see there is a lack of something new but at the same time maybe everything new is well forgotten old. Somehow I haven't seen any thread about bitcoin pawnshops. No one wants to work on this project or aren't pawnshops popular in where you live? All of you want ebay/amazon like service with bitcoin payment but what about to launch local pawnshop which will accept bitcoin payments?
I created this thread to discuss around this subject (if you had one without success or etc). Share your opinions and experience if available.

2944  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Bitcoin Game ( Blitzmoon.com ) on: May 04, 2019, 12:27:36 PM
One thread per site only <--this is already mentioned and pinned on this forum. You created another thread on your website which is against rules (link of your thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5139140).
So better to remove this thread and continue posting here. For multiply threads, you can use Games and rounds section (used for giveaways, promotions and etc).
2945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going steadily up, don't you think? on: May 02, 2019, 11:15:04 PM
It seem like Bitcoin has entered an uptrend, since begin February 2019. It is most probably entering a new big bull cycle that will last for months, most probably for longer than one, one-and-a-half year.

I read articles on tradingview of how the Bitcoin price is going to collapse. Well, this has already happened. We are in an uptrend now.

I'm not sure why some people are insisting one publishing one pessimistic article after the other. My guess is that they missed their chance to buy low, before April, and now they are trying to influence their readers to how it suits their portfolio.

My feeling is that Bitcoin is going steadily up, at least for the time being.

What do you think?
To my mind word "steadily" is a little bit unuseful when we talk about bitcoin. Can't call this rise from 3k to 5k a steady because for example from 5200 it went to 5000 and then up again. But price was "steady" around 7K, expectation was rise as always because price was steady 7k, why would it fall? But in reality opposite happened and price started to fall. From current situation we don't have even blurry image to say anything whether this rise is steady or not.
2946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting analysis things on: May 02, 2019, 10:47:10 PM
I mostly bet on football and use
1.flashscore.
2.windrawin.com
3.footballtips.com
What is the best for analysis football or other sports.tell us your one??? It will help in our analysis
You have to be a good football watcher at the same time to remember what happened in matches. Flashscore is pretty great and enough, you can every statistics you need but not much details behind those statistics if you don't watch matches. Maybe there are some websites which so reviews of each matches (there was local one but that won't be useful for you). Personally I was making reviews too, something like this will be very helpful, see this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1597716
2947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are we not pushing online merchant and services harder for Bitcoin adoption? on: May 02, 2019, 10:19:08 PM
In my opinion, what we need is campaigns to convince governments to legalize bitcoin, only with clear laws in the world that look bitcoin in a good way will we see a mass adoption. Many merchant will be afraid to use bitcoin because bitcoin is not legal in many countries around the world. There are still many uncertainties about which way governments will take on bitcoin and this is a major obstacle to mass adoption
And where is it illegal? (don't mean 1-2 country, such number will be always in everything). If government doesn't consider bitcoin as a currency, it's usually better because there are less regulations. In some countries it's considered as an system that has nothing common with real money and is mix of mathematical things. Also do you see there is a demand? Personally I can't. One man here started to accept btc payments in his cafe - none transaction during months, also low demand on their ATMs. Just demand isn't enough, make petition on change website and let's see how many people will sign.
2948  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want start a social network but somethings holding me back on: May 02, 2019, 09:59:02 PM
Creating a new social network is like launching a rocket into space, it's a very complex project that requires a team of professionals, and if you don't even have experience with programming, how are you going to manage your hypothetical product? It's good to have ambitions, but if you have such a giant goals, you have to either become realistic and give them up, or devote your whole life to achieving them.
Programming knowledge doesm't matter here, it's more like marketing because nowdays it's pretty easy to create facebook like website, even that would be very shit because you need your own CMS (if we talk about project that wants to achieve anything good in future), huge work on security, a team of professionals and etc. You have to control every content, scan uploaded videos with their id to get rid of copyright issues and so on, this is just basic of what facebook has and this requires huge resources which costs millions + need a team of professionals but still, If you want to achieve something, it's almost impossible on global market because of natural monopoly. Facebook/twitter are most widely used, everything has it's time, it would be easier 10 years ago but now? Still don't understand what do these people think when they have such ambitions. Be crazy in your dreams, that's great but at least be a little realistic, there are dreams which will stay dreams forever. Don't wanted to repost here again but can't understand why realizing of all above things seem so difficult for people.
2949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware when trading @ Kryptono - Stealing your identity? on: May 02, 2019, 08:46:57 PM
OP is informative for the traders to make aware people from any exchange which has such type of issue. I think everybody should know more about the exchange before depositing any fund. Sometimes people try to deposit panic for arbitrage trading without reading more information about the exchange. Most of the exchanges are asking for KYC now so obviously, always we should mind about KYC, without aware of the term and condition of any exchange trader can lose a huge amount. Thanks

It is a fact that nowadays almost all exchanges are asking for KYC as one of the requirement in order to use their services. So anyone who do not want to do KYC needs to find exchanges without KYC requirement. I myself not against KYC in exchange as I believe it is related to regulation by government to avoid money laundering or other bad things.
To OP, sorry if you have to lose your money because of the KYC thing but if it is a big amount of money then I think you should do the KYC.
Well, if what he says is right, then he is right. Exchangers ask for KYC but in this situation seems it was followed to inability to log in your account, as he claims, entered 2fa was correct and he could use account without KYC but exchanger lost it and now pushes him to upload KYC documents in order to regain access on his account. I don't think that's fair action.
2950  Economy / Economics / Re: If you could make any economy/token/currency what would you make? on: May 02, 2019, 07:41:06 PM
Personally I would make one global coin with fixed value, I mean let's take 1$=1$, nothing more or less, no trading, no inflation, limited supply. This way there won't be as much dump/rise in products' prices (usually rise, haven't seen noticable dump). And would make this things absolutely dedicated from banks, banking system is the worst, so why to keep bad things? Not a bad idea, maybe...
2951  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: eBay sellers on: May 02, 2019, 06:55:12 PM
They use ebay just as advertising. Their idea is for you to contact and shop directly. Eventually their account on ebay may be blocked. But then they buy another account and continue the business.
I highly doubt they care on you. Ebay clearly states to not do any payment where ebay isn't involved, otherwise more likely you are getting scammed and there is no chance to get any refund. This bitcoin payment situation is somehow unique and makes more sense, since ebay doesn't let you to pay in btc, they offer it outside of ebay. User thinks oh. they have great rating on ebay and I can trust them with my bitcoins, but in reality this is a scam. Glad that user was reported.
2952  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETCOINPOKER.AG is officially back! | 50% Rakeback | 200% First deposit bonus on: May 02, 2019, 06:19:45 PM
Haven't heard about you until this thread (btw knew betcoin had poker on their website). Are you part of betcoin team that works independently exclusively on poker? Or absolutely another team under betcoin's name?
Btw how many active user do you have regularly, daily? I'm looking for reliable poker website and that's why I ask you those questions.
2953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are we not pushing online merchant and services harder for Bitcoin adoption? on: May 01, 2019, 09:01:14 PM
Wait, wait, is there demand but not supply? Oh, no, it's not like that, demand is so low, it even doesn't worth for them to accept bitcoin. Also as popular it gets, the more troubles there falls. If amazon/ebay starts accepting bitcoin, I believe a lot of regulations will be set on it and to sum up, bitcoin was greatest at first but every good thing gets abused and for this reason, regulations are always here.
2954  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 01, 2019, 07:37:56 PM
omg, almost got heart attack when I saw your thread's title because 1 hour ago price was well. Why did you create this thread? According to coindeks, bitcoin has +1% rise as for now, so why do you discuss about thing that's not happening now? Bitcoin doesn't go down, if it was going in past, that's a whole different subject and similar threads were alrrady opened at times when it was really happening.
2955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around? on: May 01, 2019, 07:09:48 PM
It does have the potential to filter out potential hackers and scammers but I still think it does more bad than good.  Crypto should remain somewhat anonymous, if not that you might as well just use fiat instead.
We are now in a different world where it seems that the government is trying to centralize the crypto related services. It is better to use fiat instead if they all want the KYC for crypto gambling. I can't blame those owners too since they were just following some protocols because if they don't then they don't exist nowadays.
Can't agree, despite the dact that I don't like KYC too, it's sometimes must to have in order to protect your business. For example imagine someone deposits 5 btc in your casino and then just withdraws it, how do I know whether it's money laundering or not? And if it's for money laundering, then I (casino owner) am in trouble. So in this kind of situations KYC documents are normal.
On another hand KYC can be used for example when someone tries to withdraw more than 1-2 bitcoin from account after long inactivity because of possible hacks.
2956  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Accept your US tax refunds in BTC from Refundo partnered with Bitpay on: May 01, 2019, 03:39:27 PM
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bitpay-partners-refundo-federal-state-130000496.html

This seems a bit niche but I've never received a tax refund in my entire life so I've no idea how useful this is. I burn everything the tax man sends me unopened.

The real biggie would be paying tax in BTC and I'll bet there's a substantial amount of money to be made considering what people give to exchanges instead.
It's possible to pay tax in bitcoin in Ohio, USA. As far as I know this is first and only state that lets people to pay taxes in bitcoins. See this for more details: https://www.coindesk.com/ohio-becomes-first-us-state-to-allow-taxes-to-be-paid-in-bitcoin

LeGaulois
That way you can exchange as much as possible of your net profit into bitcoin and possibly your company's budget will grow hugely or opposite as you already mentioned. Btw not a bad idea (I mean tax refunds in bitcoin).
2957  Economy / Gambling / Re: ReelDice.com - The Bitcoin Dice Industry meets change on: May 01, 2019, 02:27:28 PM
Just wanted to say about smartphone version of your website and saw you already had answer in ANN post lol.
It's good you offer 50% bonus on every deposit but idea of that bonus? Has it any meaning if we have almost zero possibility to win it? If you know math, chances that users will lose is far, far higher than they'll win. Better to lower that requirement, you can't attract people that way.
Six number changes nothing here but still nice you tried to be a little different from others. Better to set minimum bet on 1 satoshi because that's standart on market (for this reason lower faucet too). Guess house edge will be 1%.
Wisb you success
2958  Economy / Economics / Re: Transferring of wealth from the impatient to the patient! on: May 01, 2019, 01:44:13 PM
Let me add that even if you patiently hold for your coins to go pump, if that coins weren't have potentials, it makes no sense and it will not make you a millionare. The big thing here is to patiently hold some trusted, potentially and established coins like bitcoin and ethereum which was being tested for being a long term investments.

Also, integrating some strategies or making great steps aside from holding will even make you rich unlike doing nothing and waiting for the impossible to happen is like waiting the star to fall.
Can't agree, when we talk around bitcoin, as time shows, holding it and doing nothing is less risky and far profitable than daily/weekly/monthly trading.
Btw it's not so easy to just hold coins, there are risks and you can't escape from them. News has huge impact on bitcoin's price, for example china bans mining. This news sounds terrifying, no one knows what will it cause, maybe that's the end and better to sell asap? Or maybe market will recover? And if won't recover? There are risks and we all want to get rid of them, that's why we are impatients in holding for long term.
2959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi came out with bitcoin2.0 would you use it? let`s say he used his keys on: April 30, 2019, 07:15:30 PM
Bitcoin 2.0 has to offer something as unique as bitcoin offered to this world, otherwise why will people move on it when there are ethereum, monero, grincoin and others?
His/their name isn't a magic word to turn people blindly. Also that would be a very silly action, created bitcoin and hide identity, them created bitcoin 2.0 and came with identity? What was the reason of revealing it in second moment? It's clear, to use your name and manipulate people to follow you. A little "shock" that will be gone after couple days, that's all.
2960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New casino vs old and trusted one on: April 30, 2019, 06:40:06 PM
I think no matter if the site is a new casino or old and trusted casino, we need always to control ourselves if we don't want to end up our money in the gambling game. As long as we can be a wise gambler that knows how much we will spend our money, I think we can enjoy the site, but I prefer to choose the old and trusted casino because we can prevent from getting a problem from the site. Besides that, the old casino will give a good service to their member.
And has your proposal anything common with thread's subject? There isn't discussion about gambling addiction, thread is about how much chance do new casinos have to become popular while there exist bitsler, primedice, yolodice and so on.
Nothing to talk about casinos, that's pretty easy for brand new mixers too, fot example chipmixer was new but gained very valid roots. In casinos, yolodice is recent very successful dice website if I remember correctly. Well, as I see, old and trustworthy casinos offer very great promotions, there is no reason to reject them. New casinos have chance with amazing promotions, great support and overally how trustworthy they remain as time goes, how quickly so they deal with problems and etc.
