Free spins are nice but free bets are so much better, at least for me. I never get anything from free spins and then I play those cents at odds 100 or more to convert them to something worth putting on next ticket. If I get free bet I don't have to go trough that hassle and I actually play what I like.

Hope for some more free bets types of promos in the future Smiley

Freebets all the way for me too. Just need to make 2x bet and you got the amount back as cash, though of course since it's free we all like to x5 or x10 or whatever it Wink

The only small problem is freebets when none of the games I know are going on, luckily it's not too bad playing Asian and American football (soccer).

On top of that I used a boost on the outright so I had 1.80 on the outright  Grin but still, it sucks that there's so much value wasted on the free spins that could've been saved if it was a different prize.

I always use boost for outrights, so you just need to make 1 a day. Did it for African Cup now for World Cup I'm wondering if Spain is worth it but I took already 9.56 boosted.

Don't chase the weekly and imvest too much. Many whales start to accumulate there weekly wager volume entry on the last day. I burn money too on previous contest and I get less because many unfamiliar user play huge amount on last day.  Cheesy

Yeah, I'll listen. Shame to wager almost 200mbtc and not even get top 15. It's the last day now and even Sweetlou IIRC was below me yesterday is now in 4th place with 5.++ BTC lol. Well played everyone!

Shower thought. Lower the amount you bet, and play a game that you can "lessen" the probability of losing, and then increase the number of rolls you make per session? Rocket Dice? Cool

I'm not a very great gambler, but I believe game can be very good for farming the hourly/daily wager competitions, and if you have enough Bitcoins, probably also the weekly competitions.

Yes, that's my normal style, lowest house edge, smaller bet size, many rolls. But that's blackjack and I can play maybe max 100 or so hands in one hour. The site always seems to freeze every now and then and makes it annoying to play a lot.

That's why I asked for auto a while back though may disagreed Smiley

Rocket Dice is pretty good though yeah I should check it out more. Thanks!

Hahaha. Maybe we just all skip. But french roulette will give you a better house edge because they only charge you half of your bet when you lose the both side bet strategy.

Not true Smiley French Roulette house edge is 3+% and that half money back is already calculated into the edge, meaning that you get less than 1/37 chance to hit the single bet.

@Kakmakr @Betwrong so many laptop issues just use the money for a cheap PC second hand, get a new fan/ventilator and be done lol

I wish I could do that but I share apartments with few people and no space for a PC. Though it can be refreshing in a way to be without computers at your personal home space.

Anyway, don't forget your price predicts all, last day today for 1st round.

Time for me to shake off the dust and try again this season, I made a small spot late on and feel so much regret for a few game selections that would have enabled me to get top 2 but in the end, we must be grateful for winning.

Anyway I already paid, and so looking forward to all of you fighting it out like last season Smiley
2947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 11, 2022, 02:49:26 PM
The two sets of spins are already credited, still no decent hits for me as I ended up getting 2.2 EUR in the first set and 0.4 EUR in the second set.

Looking at it positively, the free spins became like an odds boost instead of a free roll since I didn't get much out of it but it still boosted my winnings throughout the tournament.  Cheesy

Hey, a boost is a boost, and 1.7 Djokovic on 1 mbtc means you got 10% boost from those two hits alone right? Well done everyone, profit all along, freespins and a nice period of Wimbledon to wait for the real football action to happen lol.

Still waiting to get a look at some World Cup promos coming up but we have fast paced action in July coming our way. Barca all the way!

^ Some people have all the luck!

The strange thing is you even become more careful with it and can grow it!

Lol, that's smart of you.  I'm the exact opposite, I squander my free bets like I stole them.  I almost always create the most outrageous multi long-shot on which to wager my free bets.  I haven't won any, but it's still fun.  And, if "fun" isn't the point, you're doing it wrong.  Cheesy
I am also playing free bets on high odds. It is always an x5 multi with all odds over 1.5 so I can get boost. I win them here and there, won one yesterday and posted in one of the threads, but loosing them most of time.

As you say, they are fun way to try some odds you would not play for "real money".

Yeah, same here, I use the freebets on higher odds than usual, add in some boosts and you're good to go, and as my last win showed sometimes the wins come from totally unexpected places. It sometimes feels like when you're betting with freebets you just go for luck, whereas real money you think too much and then get fooled by odds and all that.

I go for 4x or up with freebets since you only get the win back.

^^^ People complain more about free stuff than not getting anything, it's the weird way of the world. Get undeserving welfare and people complain, get no welfare and there's less complaining.

Anyway, I'm still a little hurting from last week, didn't get far up weekly wager and now wondering if it's too late or bad call to try make it a bit higher with the time left. I hate losing more than I planned but also hate missing out on targets lol
2950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: July 11, 2022, 08:00:52 AM
As i always say everybody now plays football. Before it was much easier on this qualifiers teams quality was a big difference .
But yeah Dinamo was an apsolute favorite and to lose to such a weak estonian club is a shock. Be careful with this bets in the future
That's some truth to it, I mean I don't mind there is Conference League and everyone gets their chance for international club football but now yes I even see weird teams playing to qualify for Champions league, now it's really 90% of the teams I don't recognize.

No use to be more careful, but maybe useful to bet on the other team facing favorites!
This is why I believe that we should be getting the qualifiers of UCL a bit less, not have this many, instead move those to europa right now, and the high amount of qualifiers for europa should be moved to conference league instead. Have the conference league a VAST thing that all the weird smaller clubs could play, and have the eruopa to be few smaller clubs and then mediocre European ones, and only the greatest ones and champions at the champions league.

Why would you have teams that worth less than literally bench player of a big club as a whole. We see literally bench player of City being worth more than Dinamo as a whole for example, that just doesn't make sense, send them to europa and they would have a chance.
[/quote]

I don't even know when it changed to be honest and to be even more honest I really never followed them, the most maybe was the final qualifying game just before Group Stage since by then you're interested to see who's joining group stage but it was generally still very good teams in that list.

And I mean no offence to the ones playing now, I would say none of my local teams deserve even Asian Champions League so to see them play there would be really weird.

I agree: keep Champions and Europa as is. Conference should be for everyone else, and in fact, it shouldn't even allow seeded teams there (like come on Spurs shouldn't ever have been there a top 10 spender in Europe).
2951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for July on: July 10, 2022, 01:47:24 PM
I'm actually surprised that ETH has held very well above 1k all this time, even doing time above 1200 and to think of 800 testing is to think of 33% loss of value from today AFTER all the bearish news and crashes.

I guess everyone already lost confidence in ETH 2.0 in 2022 and that still hasn't brought down price below 1k, which should mean happy times for old hands.
2952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could become the gold of 21th century? on: July 10, 2022, 11:59:20 AM
Proof of work, not necessarily. There are cheaper ways to mine gold, which are more environmentally destructive and humanly objectable, usually done in countries with war to mask these efforts.

Proof of effort for sure but sometimes at the expense of others and purely high profit margins. I guess though arguers would say the same as Bitcoin miners stealing electricity?
2953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: July 10, 2022, 10:25:26 AM
I mean, yeah this is Champions League but it's not actually started yet, betting at this stage is just like betting on Third or Fourth tier football. I blame it on lack of La Liga!

I took both teams to score in 1st half unfortunately and I lost the bet as U.Catolica scored in the 2nd half but it is what it is...Sad. If I would have taken the over 1.5 for Sao in 1st half I would have won it...anyway, I'm gad Sao Paolo moved further and they have good chanced to win Sudamericana.

If not for Sportsbet I guess I'd never have followed any of the games or teams in South America, unfortunately Sao Paolo this season has been doing really badly, as they've messed up a lot of my picks (but also won them so I can't really complain).

Brazil teams are doing very well in Sudamericana!

Utility is the ingredient Bitcoin has.

as for me the bigest Bitcoin problem - is volatility.
let say 3months ago I bought BTC for 40000$. but now it cost only 20000$. is this OK for you ?

also I can't agree that you can pay only using Bitcoin. for example Ethereum and Monero is also acceptable in many places.

For me the same, but it doesn't change the fact that it's still the least volatile among all the crypto (disregarding stablecoins which actually can get worse in the case of Terra and many other failed stablecoins).

Again, you miss my point in utility. If I bought BTC to use it 3 months ago I used it. I buy it now to use it again, the price is not really what I see because I bought $100 worth at any time to use it and then to cash it out again.

I'm not speculating, and if I am, altcoins are still worse in terms of volatility.

You can say what you want but show me how you can buy food today or p2p easily today with ETH and XMR. I love those 2 coins but face it, few Monero and ETH USERS as opposed to Bitcoin users.
2958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The State of Cryptocurrency Report on: July 08, 2022, 10:03:06 AM
Most of it's not a surprise but I think the "men/women" thing needs to be explored differently. I saw a recent report actually shared also on this forum, wish I could track it down, but it said women actually ranked higher in all different regions in terms of utility, which suggested they weren't owners/holders but users (they buy BTC and use it, or they use wallets etc.) whereas men were speculators (buy and hodl and never use).

Sentiment should be tested not just with owners but users who may not consider themselves owners. You know like those crypto journalists, who have to declare what they hold and some don't even own any crypto but are highly knowledgeble.
2959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 08, 2022, 08:32:11 AM
Nice wins for you boltz, I also put Sao Paolo on ticket unfortunately I mixed it with shitty Champions League games and lost everything.

I had four bets. One gone with Halep losing, second gone with above explanation, fourth is on Norrie upset later as it was impossible who else to bet on with good odds. But happily for me third one hit while betting live on 2 games at 60th minute.

Good luck everybody!
2960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa Launches An Exclusive “No Limit” Bitcoin Card on: July 08, 2022, 06:11:29 AM
Hm just read the actual main press release and you see this is a misreported news. This is NOT Visa launching.

This is a shitcoin launching.

As pointed out it's quite easy to be just one of those shitcoin crypto debit cards like Monaco oops, like Crypto.com. As far as I know only Coinbase has a real direct Visa partnership with them. Everyone else is using through a third party.

Bitcoin credit cards just don't work, if you want a real one, only Coinbase has it. And if you are not American or UK person like me, you can't have it.
