2961  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: January 30, 2018, 10:55:39 PM
Your friend have a point somehow but don't he even think that fiat money inside our pockets could be steal by anyone while bitcoins or other crypto can only be steal by the elite one (which are the hackers). Well, I understand if your friend, or the 99℅ of population, still choose fiat money over cryptocurrency simply because this is the conventional form of money that everyone know and maybe because they don't have deep understanding on the blockchain technology.

We can't blame them if they refuse to believe in crypto, it's their choice and we don't have the right to control it. I think the right thing we should do is to make them realized that crypto is also beneficial in its own way. Let's show them the convenience we get from it nd prove that this is not harmful for us, through this we can convince them to believe on it and also engage with it.
2962  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't Spend Too Much Time Trading? is that true? on: January 30, 2018, 09:55:39 PM
If you have lots of free time, it does not affect your other daily activities and you know the field you're entering in then spending too much time in trading wouldn't be a problem at all.

Don't worry too much for the mistakes that you've done because this is normal and inevitable. Just keep in mind the lessons you've learned from those mistakes to become better next time and try to set aside your emotion first because it can greatly affect your strategy.
2963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could loose 90% of its value on: January 30, 2018, 11:02:48 AM
Here we go again, another fearless forecast coming from one of the antagonists of bitcoin Roll Eyes I understand that he call btc a classic bubble because haters of it usually say that, but the moment he predicted that it will go down to $1k -$3k per coin,  I think he's crazy Cheesy I'm not saying that his prediction is impossible to happen, what I'm saying is btc will take a lot of time and will undergo a lot of circumstances first before this may happen.
2964  Other / Meta / Re: Smart spammers on: January 30, 2018, 04:53:31 AM
Wow! How did you noticed that? You're such a good observer. Shocked. Thanks to you, that spammer will no longer continue his wrong deeds because I'm sure the admins are now taking action regarding this. Cheesy

Honestly, I want to give that spammer a round of applause for what he have done Grin. Who would imagine that he could be able to make spams easily by replacing the words with its synonyms. Whether he used a bot or not, I could say that he is very smart in doing those such things but what he did is wrong after all. (To be clear, I'm not admiring his wrong deeds)

2965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: January 30, 2018, 03:41:38 AM
So you are not only newbie in rank here in the forum but also a newbie in crypto world, my advice for you is to study first and get familiarize all the aspects of trading before engaging with it. This field is very risky and will cost you some money if you become careless for every decisions you make. I'll tell you frankly, a beginner like you may have a greater chance of losing money instead of earning because you still don't have adequate knowledge and lack of experience (no offense sir Smiley, I'm just telling what possibly might happen).

For now, remain holding your coins and just keep an eye on their behavior in the market.
2966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark Net users as the new Threat? on: January 30, 2018, 12:23:43 AM
We all know that deep web is a place full of bad people (but I'm not pertaining to all because some divers only seek for hidden knowledges that are not exposed in the surface web) and a place where you can find every illegal stuffs you could imagine. So to avoid being robbed by hackers there then you should not enter it because you know now how risky it is, so simple right? There's nothing to worry about if you are not a diver at all.

But actually, here in the outside world, you are still prone to be victimized by the criminals but this will only be possible if you personally attract their interest by being vocal when it comes to your wealth. To avoid this, you should stay anonymous, never let strangers know your identity and keep all of your accounts secret. Never ever brag your earnings to others because who knows that the one who see your boastfulness will be the one who has bad intentions to you. Just work silent and earn silent.
2967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you tend to invest in an ICO on: January 29, 2018, 09:23:26 PM
Honestly, I'm not feeling comfortable dealing with ICOs because I can't get rid of my mind that some of them may not become successful and shut down. So I only invest under one btc or even under the half of it when I see an ICO despite of being reliable. I'm just only playing safe, I only invest what I can afford to lose
2968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: January 29, 2018, 01:17:11 AM
Well, if you are scared already and can't hold the drop any longer then withdraw your savings because further drops on btc's price might give you more stress and frustrations, though you lost some money at least you are now relieved somehow.

While on the other hand, you could make this bad situation favorable unto you if you have the guts to continue. Take this opportunity to buy even more and hold so that you would get larger profit when btc gain its momentum again. To do this, you must give your full trust to btc and be brave enough to endure the hard times like this.

Whatever you will choose between the two, make sure to analyze it first because we're discussing here is all about money which is a very important matter.
2969  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the end for bitcoins ? on: January 28, 2018, 01:51:44 PM
I think it's very unfair if we already assumed that bitcoin will also have the same fate like those things have. Bitcoin is different from those bubbles because I do believe that it is much stronger to them.

I understand if others might think that btc will end soon because it remains stagnant on its dip, but for me, this dip doesn't mean that it will not rise again. I already witnessed this kind of crucial situations several times before and yet btc never fail to survive and recover. In my opinion, it seems that it will live long since this is the latest trend and starting to be appreciated by many people.
2970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Another bad news from japan on: January 28, 2018, 08:51:35 AM
What a horrible news! $534 million worth of NEM are stolen Shocked that's a huge amount of money. Sad to know that hackers won once again, I'm pretty sure that they are now celebrating after they breached into Coincheck successfully.

This is not only a bad news for NEM holders out there but for the exchange itself because they are going to pay what has been stolen. This might definitely lead to bankruptcy but I'm glad to know that they're not shutting down (so admirable).

I hope the authorities will find the suspects very soon and punish them for the damage they have done.
2971  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit again 20k USD on: January 28, 2018, 05:46:09 AM
I agree that bitcoin's price will rise to $20k and there's no doubt about it. Actually, it will go further than that but the exact time when it gonna happen remains unknown because btc is very hard to predict.
"In five years, if you try to use fiat currency, they will laugh at you. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be so relevant ? there will be no reason to have the fiat currencies?―Tim Draper, billionaire investor and Bitcoin owner.
This sounds overconfidence, this statement seems very impossible to happen knowing that the predicted time is after 5 years only! It's true that bitcoin has the potential to replace fiat but not that too early. Though btc has already been used in some cases, I do believe that it still way far from mass adaption.
2972  Other / Meta / Re: How do I get out of newbie status? on: January 28, 2018, 04:27:15 AM
In what topics are better to participate in order to rise quickly? Huh

If I understand the rules correctly every topic has the same weight so it doesn't matter where you post as long as you follow the rules of the topic.
Black Mamba is right, the topics you are posting in has no connection on how fast you will rank. You will only have 1 post count for every post you will make on any particular topic, it doesn't matter whether your post is a spam or not.

But just a friendly reminder, always make sure that your post is not off the topic, avoid spamming and make good quality posts (not single liners as much as possible) because if you don't, it will definitely reflect to the credibility of your account resulting to a tendency of being rejected when joining signature campaigns.
2973  Economy / Speculation / Re: I missed the boat :( on: January 27, 2018, 10:28:23 AM
You missed a great opportunity, you should already invested when btc is in its $9k mark. Next time, never hesitate to invest when there's a dip (whether big or small) because we don't know how long it lasts.

Anyway, stop pulling down yourself because committing a mistake is normal for each one of us. Also, stop saying that you are the biggest idiot here in crypto world because you're not Smiley (I'm pretty sure that there are so many people out there who made worse decisions than you). The right thing you could do is to forget all the negative vibes, try to focus on the moral lessons you've got from that experience and use it to become a wiser bitcoin holder.
2974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC to accept Bitcoin! on: January 26, 2018, 04:27:05 PM
This is a great advancement for bitcoin because it only means that some large companies/establishments are now noticing it's potentials which they used for improving their service quality.

KFC'e intention was good but honestly, using bitcoin as a form of payment for fast food chains was not a good idea. Imagine if that would be implemented, you are not only going to pay the bucket of chicken itself but you also need to pay the transaction fee ( it costs more than before, right?). And besides, I think the payment process will slow down also if we shift to btc because giving the money over the counter is still much faster than sending btc where you need to wait couple of minutes first before receiving the payment.

Anyway this still a nice idea after all, just need to be furnished a little bit more.
2975  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the downfall of bitcoin? on: January 26, 2018, 10:48:33 AM
January is about to end but there are still no good progress happening in bitcoin's price, this is not what I've expected. I thought that btc will recover by the middle part of this month but I was wrong.

Though it indicates a bad sign for btc, I still do believe that it will rise again soon. We're just in the first month of this year, very early to predict whether this year was btc's downfall.

Just keep updated and let's wait what happens next. Smiley
2976  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is currently losing money on bitcoin? on: January 26, 2018, 01:07:40 AM
I suppose that there are some newbies (and some non-newbies too) out there who got invested over 10k, and are currently losing money.
Losing money is very stressfull, so I was just wondering... are you cutting your losses or you will hodl your stash untill 2020 and more following an "all or nothing" strategy?
It's very obvious that each one of us (bitcoin holders) lose some money due to btc's drop. Whether you are holding or selling right now, we can't deny the fact that our savings are greatly affected by the big decrease on btc's value.

Yup! This is very stressful and gives me a lot of frustration that I sometimes come to the point attempting to sell all of my earnings to cut the losses but in the end I still choose to hold and believe that btc will rise again. I remain patient and calm despite of this bad happening.

Honestly, I already experienced this kind of dips several times before but I still can't get used to it. Sad
2977  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: January 25, 2018, 02:18:56 PM
Some people might say that bitcoin millionaires don't deserve the wealth they are having right now because of the fact that they do not make sweat at all to get it comparing to those hardworking people who gave everything just to earn money. But in my own perspective, I think they still deserve it since they trust and took a big risk on investing way back btc's beginning days (which is very admiring for having the guts to do that) and they give a lot of patience for waiting until the time when btc grew a lot.
2978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stupid millionaire or risk to be Billionaire ? on: January 25, 2018, 10:10:47 AM
Actually, you don't need to choose only one between becoming a lucky millionaire and a future billionaire because you can be both. I think the right way to do is to spend your btc if there are needs/wants and expenses you need to fulfill but don't forget to save some of those so that you still got a fund if ever you need money again.

It's just a matter of self discipline and being a wise money holder. Achieving these will give you a fruitful life not only for today but also tomorrow.
