Gmaxwell: "nullc If it's a test it's failing. Nah, as I said they've been making transactions like this continually. I assume it's some cronjob that runs that sops up tiny payments. I don't know that it's news, but it strikes me as sad but a bit amusing that they're still authoring invalid transactions. "

Playin the Bitcoin market has never been easier, the last few weeks were awesome. I hope this goes on for 1-2 weeks more.

Stamp down?
Down for me as well

I am pretty sure this rally occurred because of the 6h MCAD crossover. Every time there is a crossover there seems to always be a rally associated with something FUD.

The real question is, why are you holding and spending bitcoins at all? I think it is because secretly you just have to have some of those lovely little digital numbers, and you don't really believe there value is going to zero. Come on now, share it with us, secretly you are infatuated with Bitcoin aren't you? You know what people say about those the protest too loudly.
Iīm a trader, i donīt care at all about the future of Bitcoin. If iīm bearish i go short, which turned out to be right in the last weeks. Right now iīm long until 620-640. I have to admit that Bitcoin was a great tool for doin black market transactions, but beside this i really donīt care at all about Bitcoin and no i donīt believe in itīs success, but if my TA says itīs goin up i will go long, plain and simple.

Bitcoin is really a mindblowing system. I tried to order a pizza with bitpay, after 15 min the payment still hasnīt arrived and i got the message "invoice expired". So my money is gone and i got no pizza. Outstanding.
How can you order a Pizza with bitcoins if you have zero bitcoins? You always amaze me! I have a lots of money on the exchanges(leveraging(shorting) with USD) , so i thought i could take the risk and exchange 20$ into Bitcoin without having to fear that Bitcoin would fall to 0 in the next 10 minutes. Lesson learned. I even sent the BTC to my blockchain account first as i am aware of the fact that payments through exchanges can be delayed. Iīm sad for Bitcoin. And once again it has proven that BTC future doesnīt look bright You are flat out lying unless you can show us the transaction being "stuck" in the pending queue (you did add the miner's fee right?) [edit] transactions can take longer but if it is in the queue and valid it will eventually go through. I've had low miner's fee transactions sit in there for 10+ hours just to test if they also go through Of course, everything said without a screenshot is always lying........... It actually appeared in the blockchain but it took 25 minutes, (minerfees were included), but the bitpay process expired after 15 minutes. I contacted the pizza service, maybe i get refunded, whatever.

agreed, two months is too wide a range, we're in a major period of price discovery at the moment, and I expect we'll find capitulation within the next week. Two months is pretty much guaranteed.
A week? That's pretty optimistic even for a bear. I think we still may see some bounce from oversold conditions. This still on target for now: But TA takes a back seat to repeated Goxxing. We'll see what happens upon another update re: withdrawals and how closely Stamp follows... My long positions are set up to close almost exactly between youīre two red circles(613-645). Bid walls on Finex are already pilling up, after that another round of shorting. MAX PROFIT!

we're going below 500.
We're going below your mom. Stay class Billyboy, stay classy... In real world you would need to prove that point with your fists and strength of your teeth but this is Internet so staying classy is best way to not look like an idiot. I guess not looking like idiot is hard in your case but people have done bigger things while trying hard You mom doesn't like it when I use fists and teeth. Four fingers at the most. You are such a low life. Incredible

As far as i am aware of the volume data, the volume done on Bitstamp through Bitfinex shows in both statistics. At least thatīs how it works in bitcoinwisdom.com? If 500BTC on Finex get sold through stamp-only orders it shows on both.

It seems like Bitfinex is doin much more Volume than Bitstamp in the last days.
Bitfinex has access to Bitstamp's order book. I know but most of the 100-200 BTC orders/trades in the last hours have been only shown in the Bitfinex books.

I know nothing about TA but is that a "head and shoulders" forming on 15m chart on stamp? That is supposed to be bullish I believe?
Inverse H&S, yes. We'd need to hold $560 and then break out above $590 with a surge in volume. Measured target in that scenario would be $650 calculated as $590 neckline + ($590 neckline - $530 head). Thanks for the explanation! Now I feel a bit less dumb. Seeing there seems to have just been a 1K+ btc dump on stamp I assume it's safe to say that we didn't break out, but break down. So it was a fake Head & shoulders! Gotta watch out for that, you'll get dandruff. You're welcome. $560 held so the pattern is still valid, however we'd need to drive up from here and then break through $590 with gusto volume-wise. Hard to see that happening absent Gox unGoxing itself. On the plus side I now have a substitute in my lexicon for the F word I see. So as long as we don't break below 560 (the shoulders) the pattern hasn't broken and the scenario might still play out. TBH I also don't see this as very likely but hey bottoms are due when the least amount of people expect them, aren't they? Watching with interest. My feeling is that we might see the bottom soon, or that we might have already seen it at 530 (less likely than the first option imo). I'm interested to see how right/wrong my feeling is. There might be more than a kernel of truth in the bolded part. I've been reading this thread with great interest during the recent turbulence, and it seems hardly anyone can come up with a bullish scenario for the possible Gox resolutions. Gox goes under = loss of confidence and sell-off. Gox allows limited withdrawals = partial loss of confidence plus selling of the released coins. Gox allows full unlimited withdrawals = selling of the released coins. Makes you wonder if everyone is already positioned for a negative outcome. When everyone runs to the same side of the boat, it tends to capsize. Well iīm long and bullish for at least 1-2 days
