New Zealand came back very strongly in the match, with wickets in the third session. England was in a very comfortable position at 92/2, and then there was a collapse. They lost 5 wickets for just 24 runs, with all the wickets being taken by pace bowlers. All of the New Zealand bowlers were impressive, including Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Kyle Jamieson (2 wickets apiece). And till now it is not clear whether England will get the first innings lead. They are still trailing by 16 runs and have only three wickets to spare.
They will easily get the lead but it won't be a big one that is for sure. This match as expected is very interesting as both teams are trying to dominate each other through bowlers. After Root got out three wicket had fallen very quickly. I pity stokes as a debutant captain his was only able to score a single run and get a single wicket.

England V New Zealand

I look forward to watching the first Test match between England and New Zealand. These two teams are very strong for the Test format. However, New Zealand's performance in the last few series was not as good as we expected. They also lost a Test match against a team like Bangladesh. But the New Zealand players are experienced enough. Hopefully they won't make any mistakes at Lord's. And we will have the opportunity to enjoy a competitive match.
Yes, this match will be intresting to watch. England lost its previous test series against West Indies but Newzealand were able to draw their previous series against South Africa. In my opinion Newzealand are still in a better position than the English side. The only advantage England has is that this match is being played in their home ground.

The match is being played at Lord's, England's home match, so I think the England team is the favorite in this match. The New Zealand team also played poorly in their last two series. They drew the series with South Africa and Bangladesh. Both teams are now very weak in the Test format. And so now it is very challenging for New Zealand to perform well against a strong team like England.

The pitch seems to favor the bowlers. At first, I thought that the English bowlers did an amazing job by bowling out the NZ side for just 132 runs then after seeing how the English batters played it seems that the pitch was made for bowlers. England still trails by 16 runs and have already lost 7 wickets.
2963  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounties and Airdrops on: June 02, 2022, 02:27:05 PM
Greeting every one,
.
I have been doing bounties and Airdrops back in 2017 but I think I was too late to enter them since once I started doing them, the Crypto market collapsed unfortunately. Yes Nothing worked in my way. But I would like to give it a try again. but I have heard, not like back in 2017 now most of bounties are scams. Is it true?  So Is It useless to follow bounties further more? and Now I can't remember which sections on this forum publish bounties and air drops. So please educate me about places that I can grab them in this forum and out side as well. I really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance
The problem with you is that you didn't have patience and you chose those bounties or airdrop that did not make any sense. I joined atomic wallet bounty which I am certain was after 2017. I kept holding those tokens and they are multiplying as I write this reply. I also participated in a few airdrop in 2019 and they generated free high returns as I waited for the right time to sell them.

Nothing is wrong with bounties or airdrop. You need to judge them and hold them till the right time arrive. The problem with hunters nowdays is that they have become bounty farmers. They join everything and they want to sell everything as soon as possible. If you need extra income then only join bounties and airdrop.

It’s very easy mate, when you trying to understand some of the terms used here, all you have to do is remain consistent and be ready to learn, although I definitely heard about casino long before I even joined the forum but for a certain I have learnt lots of terms by just being on the forum, I have even understood more about what’s happening in the world of sport even without checking any sports websites or bulletin that’s how this forum can impact in one’s life.
The terms can be confusing to someone who is new to gambling. All they need to do is a google search and every question related to gambling gets answered. If in case there is still confusion they can ask their question here. I have also learnt a lot by being consistent on this board and sub boards.
2966  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for regular casino players. Will you use Lightning if available? on: June 01, 2022, 08:59:33 AM
I have been an early adopter of the Bitcoin lightning network and a strong advocate, I will gladly use the service if it is available in any casinos. The mass adoption of lightning networks will be more effective if there is high demand for platforms such as casinos.
There are already some casinos that integrate lightning network which is really good to look at or make use of but the main issue is the trust that do connects with it that's why they aren't really able to get sufficient number of players due into that kind of problem which is something not surprising.

I've seen that this one is done well but not all would really be that confident on using LN yet they do say that it's still on developmental state and they do much prefer those older ways.
It would be very interested to know which online casinos are now allowing LN fir gambling. A list of the same can encourage a lot of people replying on this topic to use those casinos. LN us the fastest and cheapest way to use Bitcoin but there not much information available about vendors accepting it.

What can you expect from Google?
A company so big still doesn't have any mechanism to stop spam from appearing on their search algorithm. They also cannot stop scammers to advertise on their search page. Unless the community reports that advert will appear as soon someone enters a specific keywords. This why it is always advised to not click on ads that appear on the search page.

Kiwis are warming up for their 3 test matches series, which is starting from 2nd June. I guess this series is part of the World Test Championship (Saying this because both countries have history of playing useless series for no reason just like IND and SL)

Anyway this is BlackCaps squad for the first match. After very long time Kane Williamson is back in the team as Captain.

Yes, this test series is part of the world test championship title. Currently the defending champions are ranked sixth and England ranked ninth in the table. This series would be Ben stokes debut as a captain and many have high hopes on him. As it will be played in Lords I feel the English side will have slide advantage.
2969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 01, 2022, 06:04:38 AM
Very good work by the BCCI and this shows how much appreciation the unsung heroes of cricket should get. It was a really good amount and I think this type of gift should be given to the groundsman and curators after each tournament. But obviously, it is easy for BCCI to do this because they obviously have a good amount of revenue which the other t20 tournaments certainly struggle to produce.

I mentioned this earlier. The BCCI is expecting around 50,000 crore INR in revenue for the sale of IPL media rights for the cycle of 2023-27. Back in 2017-22, Star India won the rights for 16,348 crore INR, but this time the reserve price itself is 35,000 crore INR. And 7-8 brands are in the fray now, including Star, Sony, Apple, Amazon, TV18, Zee and Disney. And 50,000 crore for a period of 5 years translates to 10,000 crore per year, and that is from IPL alone. The BCCI for sure has the potential to become the richest sports body in the planet.
This is the same BCCI that did not have funds to give winning bonus to their players after they won the 83 worldcup. They had to organize a musical charity to pay them. In 21-22 they not only gave bonus to the U-19 team but have now also given bonus to the unsung heroes of IPL. This is an incredible gesture on part of BCCI.

Well.. it is quite possible. Kohli is not in good form for the last 2 years or so, and there are so many talented youngsters waiting to replace him from his no.3 batting position within the national team. It needs to be seen for how long the BCCI will stick with him despite his poor performance. Hardick went through a similar lean phase and it took 2 years for the selectors to kick him out. If Kohli had concentrated on his game rather than all the drama such as Black Lives Matter and Diwali cracker ban, then he would have been able to perform much better. Maybe he should learn a lesson or two from the past legends such as Sachin Tendulkar or Rahul Dravid.

Sachin focused on his fitness too much that's why he was able to play for so long. Dravid despite having awesome figures never crossed the line of decency. Its best in interest of Indian cricket that kohli be given rest and some new talent may check in. After yesterday win chances of Hardick chances of return to Indian team have gone bright.
Hardik Pandya has already been selected for the upcoming series which will be played in India against South Africa. The team announcement was done before the IPL finals. That means the selectors have been actively noticing him while he was playing in the IPL. KL Rahul is the captain but no name has been confirmed for the vice captain. I think they will choose Hardik as he is one of the best contender after his team won the the IPL.

That was almost three decades ago. The problem is that Sri Lanka has remained where they were in 1996, and all the other teams have surged ahead of them in the meantime. A test nation can't simply progress at international level if all the cricket activity is concentrated in just one city. The same can be said about Bangladesh as well. Sri Lanka needs first class teams and facilities outside Colombo, in cities such as Kandy, Jaffna, Galle and Trincomalee. The SLCB needs to take the initiative and they can't blame the ICC everytime.

Forget about Srilanka for the moment right now, they have much more serious issues to discuss at home rather then restructuring there domestic cricket setup. I don't think Bangladesh deserve test status at first place, they were wrongfully given this status. Afghanistan is much better side then Bangladesh for test status.

Australia will be visiting Srilanka in the month of June this year. They will be playing three T20, 5 ODI and two test matches. Now my concern is that in the present economical situation will the Australian naide cancel this series or will they visit that country. I am not sure how will they be able to conclude this series wherein the country doesn't have electricity supply or fuel & food supply. I am eager to know what ACB does now as on the past they have cancelled tournaments due to COVID19 or terrorism.

Now kohli in next phase will lose his slot as batsmen from India  squad because of his stats. Kohli start as a player was perfect but he went too proud because of his performance that he started giving preference to players he like over there performance., result is in front of all of us.

He is just 33 years and has an ample amount of time to come back. It is too early to say that he will lose his slot as a batter in the Indian team. Even Tendulkar also went through such a phase and he was given time to come back. I think he should start working on his basics and should take a break from international cricket for some time.

It was just unbelievable, looking at the journey of Gujarat Titans. Since they were a new franchise, they had to start everything from the scratch. While the other franchises had the option to retain players, the Titans had to contend with players who were released from the other franchises (such as Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan. But it is another fact that many of these "released" players performed exceptionally well for their new franchise. Lucknow was also a new team, and they did pretty well to reach the knockout phase.

Hardik Pandya's performance as a captain and as an all-rounder has been proven after this win. I was going through the overall stats of the GT team in this season of IPL and found Pandya's contribution as a batter and bowler has been incredible. Whether you talk about his batting average or bowling average he is in the top 3.

GT being a brand new team and winning the title for the first time is an achievement. Overall this team has been consistent with their performance throughout this season.
2975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 29, 2022, 11:53:06 AM
There is a big difference between favouritism and quota. A quota basically means a fixed seats for individuals belonging to a particular race or ethnicity. I am not sure about other south Asian countries but in India we do not have such kind of quota in cricket. Favouritism is present in India but it doesn't mean the whole team is selected based on it. Another important aspect of Indian cricket is that nepotism also doesn't work here.

Agreed. Favoritism and nepotism are there in cricket (although not as much as it used to be there in the old times), but these are individual-based preferences and doesn't favor any particular religion or ethnic group. As we have seen, nepotism alone can't guarantee the survival of players. Kohli tried to stuff the national team with RCB players such as Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar and Mohammed Siraj. But in the end, these players couldn't cement their positions in the national side and Kohli himself lost the captaincy.

Yes, that is true. The difference between the quota system and nepotism/favoritism is that the quota system is actually directly affecting the selection of a cricket team for a long time. Like the players are going to be there even though there are other players who are the best fit for the job.

But in Favoritism, a player might get chances of playing but if they don't play well they will eventually be dropped.

So, eventually in my opinion the quota system causes a lot more harm instead of nepotism/favoritism. But I believe both are detrimental to the future of cricket.
Cricket is a game of talent and skills when you implement quota you destroy the basic requirement of the game. I do not think quota should be imposed in sports as such. If you want to provide quota then give financial and coaching assistance to those new talents that are economically backward. You can implement quota at that level but not for selection.

IPL-2022 FINAL

RR will be playing against GT today in the finals of IPL 2022. This season has been really unpredictable. Two powerfull teams did not even qualify for the playoffs and a brand new team reached the finals of this season. Considering the overall performance of both the teams in this season of IPL, who do you think will win today?

I feel GT has an upper edge considering their overall consistent performance in this season.

An encouraging and motivating  news published by the mainstream media in times when they are focused on only publishing negative and FUD news.

Setting up such a big mining rig requires a good amount of investment and technical knowledge. I am sure they would have past experience in mining cryptocurrency individually.

The only question that arises in my mind is that will they be happy to pay such an enormous tax whenever they convert their assets to fiat or they have a different approach all together.
2978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 28, 2022, 01:40:09 PM
India has fair amount of problems when it comes to bigotry and religious fanaticism but when it comes to cricket then there is virtually no drama at all, it's all about meritocracy and nothing else. Just to give you example of Arjun Tendulkar (Sachin's son), he recently got rejected for even Mumbai's Ranji squad. For decade or so it started happening in other spots too.
I remember sometimes back some Ambedkarite (pro reservation) made a reservation jibe at the Cricket. With in a few hour everyone including Left-Centre-Right and literally every visible nutjob in the media ganged up together against this idea.

At first I laughed at the idea of quotas within the national cricket team. But then I realized that we already have that in international cricket. The South African national team has so called "transformation quotas" which calls for 7 non-white players in the national squad playing XI. Most of the top performers in South African domestic cricket are white players. But these guys will never get a chance to represent their country. Anyway, these sort of policies will never be implemented in Asian countries. No one supports such quotas here.

But the problem is that Asian countries do have quotas. We just don't realize it. There is a certain amount of favoritism in almost all Southeast Asian countries. Several countries (I am not saying any names here) do not give a lot of bright players a chance to play at the national level just because they support the opposition party. That is quite equivalent to having a quota system in my opinion. Asian say that they don't support the quota system but inside they do the exact same.

2979  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Phones on mobile wallet becoming riskier on: May 28, 2022, 11:55:07 AM
I think it all depends on the user of the wallet. It is not that only mobile wallet are vulnerable to attacks there has been a lot of reports on how desktop and hardware wallets have been attacked. Holding your assets on any wallets can be risky if a user doesn't know how to safe guard the wallet. You cannot blame on a particular device or pinpoint a particular being risky.
2980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 28, 2022, 06:56:22 AM
Never thought that Sri Lanka had a chance of winning this match, but somehow they did it. Bangladesh on the other hand was overdependent on Litton and Mushfiqur, but these two can't rescue them everytime. Out of the total of 534 runs scored by Bangladesh, a total of 391 was scored either by Litton or by Mushfiqur. That is two batsmen contributing for more than 73% of the team total. Asitha Fernando had a dream outing this time, taking 10 wickets in total. See this, two pace bowlers (Fernando and Rajitha) taking the vast majority of the wickets in a pitch that unfairly supported batsmen.
Everyone should have such expectations from Bangladesh team in test format. They had quite good chance to win the first test match. But they have failed to do it for the poor decisions of their captain. Now they have lost the second test match which was moving towards the draw. From 150/5 to all out in just 169 runs. That's how poor batting lineup Bangladesh have in test format. The top order batsmen and the lower order batsmen has completely failed to show their performance. Bangladesh will play two test matches against West Indies in the next month. I think they will loss those matches too.
A simple opportunity to draw the series got wasted by Bangladesh. How easily they lost 6 wickets so quickly and scored just 19 runs to lose the last test match and that also in their home ground. Good come back by the Srilankan bowlers they made an impossible task achievable because they had simply the worst batters facing their bowls.
