2miner and ethermine are very good mining pools because they do not require registration. The further prospect of mining is unknown until the end date of ethereum mining is known. But it will be much more difficult to make money on mining after Ethereum, so you need to learn how to mine in various ways.

GPU MRSP RTX 3000 and RX6000 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5351711.0Most miners bought their graphics cards for more than MSRP, so prices in the secondary market can be worse than in stores. In my country, a new video card can be found cheaper than they sell in secondary markets. First, study the prices in stores and discounts.

It doesn't matter, you said it yourself that difficulty will have dropped by the time so tell me how mining on the pool isn't even better? You will get better quantities of coins you mine and that's all what this is about isn't it.
I don't think mining difficulty will drop. After the end of Ethereum mining, the hashrate will be distributed according to other algorithms and it will be more difficult to mine and the profit will decrease. We need to wait for a situation where solo mining will be interesting for testing.

Are there two types of Hynix memory? I now have three graphic cards that can't go higher than 22.3MH mining Ethereum and others are doing 25-27MH per second, this graphic cards are gtx 1660 none super or Ti
Gainward GTX 1660 6GB MSI GTX 1660 6GB
What do you think I can do in this case? Flash latest BIOS maybe?
What settings do you use for mining? Have you tried memory -500? Have you tried increasing the power limit? Check out this thread, you might find something useful. https://www.reddit.com/r/NiceHash/comments/mwwa0g/gtx_1660_mining_settings_only_getting_22mhs/

What can I mine with 8 pieces of GTX1060 3GB graphic card right now? Or I should just sell them and move on? Also is there still a chance to mine Ethereum Classic using 3GB of VRAM memory? Keep and find a new coin to mine or sell and keep my money.
I would have sold these video cards a long time ago. Maybe I wouldn't sell them if I had very cheap or green electricity. You can try to advertise these video cards on secondary markets and mine cryptocurrencies.

Hello everyone, I'm undermining eth with 4 rx580 8gb, on a particular card I have many invalidated, you know why? thank you all
Show your video card overclocking. I had problems with rx580 8gb due to memory overclocking. For my colleagues, the video card worked with a memory frequency of 2100 megahertz, and for me some video cards did not work with a memory frequency of more than 2000 megahertz. Try mining without overclocking first.

The only advantage of the PX470, Px 480 video cards with 4 GB of memory and analogues is that they are now very cheap. If you have free green energy, then these video cards have a very good payback, cheap repairs, but from the minuses, this is a small profit.

So don't blindly trust the calculators!
I really don't understand your post. If you have so much experience in mining, then why are you comparing the return on investment with the current profit of a mining calculator? The calculator shows profit for the current hour, not even a day, and the price of a cryptocurrency can fall or grow 10 times in a year.
|
|

If you are given an option to mine 2 different coins for a whole year under free electricity, no payment or bills for that single year and then leave after what coins will you mine with 500MH? 250MH on one and the other 250MH on the second, this doesn't include Ethereum.
It seems to me that these are very stupid conditions. I will always mine the most profitable coin and then I will sell it and buy ZANO, SERO, ETC, FLUX... if I need it. Why do you limit yourself to stupid conditions in mining?

This question is about Solo mining in bear market
When everything seems dead just like 2018 and 2019, mining is not profitable anymore, John bull dashing out free rx580s to his cousins, everyone singing it's over, mining difficulty becomes extremely low, isn't that the best time to Solo mine some coins?.
For example, I except Solo mining Ethereum Classic to me more easier if ETC goes down to 5-10$ or there is some part I am missing about Solo mining?
In solo mining, it is profitable to mine Ethereum, if you have a large hashrate, then you can catch a block with large commissions that exceed the block reward by several times. In the ethereum classic, the commissions are minimal, it’s probably easier to mine on the pool.

Hi is nicehash the best option for mining? or are there better options out there?
As long as Ethereum mining is working, I prefer not to use software to select the most profitable algorithm. But when Ethereum mining is over, then perhaps nicehash and its competitors will be a good solution for beginners at first. You should probably try nicehash if you are a beginner.

Hi everybody, i noticed that the default worker name in HiveOs, contains a space, such as:
Rig #12345466
but there are many pools that require the worker name at the end of the wallet address, in the form:
wallet.workerName
i don't think it's correct to specify the address such as:
myWallet.Rig #12345678
because there is a space char between the substring 'Rig' and the substring '#12345678', so do i have to specify only the number from the '#' character? So the right address for the pool should be:
myWallet.#12345678
? Thanks in advance!
When you create a new worker in HiveOs, you need to enter its name. This name will be used in the miner settings if required by the pool. Also, this name will be used by you to monitor the mining farm.

We have already seen this situation in the market. When there is an official announcement from Ethereum developers about the start of Pos mining, many video cards will go to the secondary market. This will be a good time to upgrade your old graphics cards.
|
|
|
Throttling mode starts if the temperature of the video card memory is above 100-105 degrees. 91°C is a good temperature for this graphics card. Look at the tests for your graphics card model, you may want to change the thermal pads to reduce the memory temperature to 80-85 °C

Instead of 1 RTX 3090, buy 2 RX 6700 GPU. Now more people sell video cards than buy.

There was a time when you can mine ETH with rx480 and 580 with 4GB memory using a particular miner, i'm guessing it's lolminer? Now that the DAG file is very close to 4.9GB I doubt this trick still works. Anyone using this strategy with 4GB cards?.
You can mine ethereum on 4gb graphics cards, but your hashrate will be less than 1 megahash. That's how it was when I last tried with a DAG file size of about 4.2gb. Mining may not work now, but you will not be mining ethereum with this hash rate, even if you can start mining.
|
|
|
Keep in mind that with the increased DAG size the 10 series from Nvidia suffer from hash rate drops,I had a Gtx 1070 some time ago it was doing 31 Mhsh in 2019 while it can do only 25-26 Mhsh right now because of the increasing DAG size, this maybe the issue you are facing, also my Gtx 1080 ti was doing 42 Mhsh when I got it a couple of months ago,it is now at 41 Mhsh and will be even lower with the passing of time, this is something well known for the 10 series of Nvidia.
These cards have 8gb vram memory, how come they are performing less? Presently a 1080ti can do 45MH I guess the reason why yours is now getting less hashrate is because the thermal pads and grease are getting weaker, this has nothing to do with the increase of DAG size. Don't write such nonsense anymore. https://www.reddit.com/r/gpumining/comments/ixu7l4/why_is_my_1070_hashrate_so_slow/GTX 1060-1080 video cards could mine without losing hashrate if Nvidia released a patch, as AMD did. Nvidia won't do it. What nonsense are you talking about? A 1080Ti does 45MH right now and I am sure of it, I dont know about 1070 and yes my calculator says 1070 do 25MH presently but not 1080TI, this card do 45MH using 210watt, still not satisfied? Here you go https://minerstat.com/hardware/nvidia-gtx-1080tiThat is just a mining calculator which has not been updated from quite some time, show me a running video of a Gtx 1080 ti that you have and that it does 45 Mhsh and I will say that the DAG size increase has nothing to do with the hash rate. I have the best brand EVGA FTW3 for Gtx 1080 ti and it is very difficult to get past 42.5 Mhsh at that power of 210 watt. This is a useless dispute. I am sure that DevFile90 does not have GTX 1060-1080ti video cards, but he continues to believe in statistics on mining sites. Although there is no actual data for these video cards. 45 megahash on GTX 1080ti at 300 watts ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Radeon RX 6750XT already being tested The Radeon RX 6750XT is the upcoming refresh of RX 6700XT with faster memory and higher clock speeds. This is the Navi 22 GPU based upper-midrange model with 12GB GDDR6, now likely clocked at 18 Gbps. Higher memory frequency and rumored increase of board power, are expected to provide a noticeable, but not significant performance uplift. It might be just enough to tackle the upcoming Intel Arc desktop cards, though. https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-radeon-rx-6750xt-shows-up-on-gfxbench-website-2-faster-than-rx-6700xt

I see a lot of news that video cards are getting cheaper in the US and Europe. If you wanted to sell video cards, then you should have done it earlier. It is wrong to buy video cards now, because they will become cheaper in the summer if the price of ethereum does not rise.
