2961  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The description of the Topic Starter (OP) Hidden on: September 15, 2022, 08:53:27 PM
I wanted to make a comment here but I came to realize that most newbies are not visiting Meta. That is why I bring it here for everyone to see.

maybe it would be good if you write about this in that thread, also mentioning PowerGlove creator of this (OP) patch. maybe that will invite him to make a small upgrade and facilitate this possibility on mobile devices.

btw. I'm a little surprised how many people only use a mobile device for all their "computer" needs.
2962  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits is holding my $4.5k withdrawal without explanation!!!! on: September 15, 2022, 08:37:15 PM

The OP created his account on 11th September 2022 and last posted on 12th September 2022. Maybe this has been resolved, we do not know and we have heard one side of the story. It would have been better if the Duelbits forum representative had posted here but either way as the situation currently stands in my opinion calling this a scam accusation at this stage seems premature.

We'll read an update tomorrow or the next day if he did not post anything then we can conclude that it's been resolved, the majority of those who opened accusations usually post many times daily to bump the thread and to attract attention to his accusations, it's a good suggestion that the representative of Duelbits update us if OP cannot or will not update this thread, some complainants to get back from the hassle they've gone through keeps the thread open to get back on the casino which is not right of course.

do we have anywhere any statement from Duelbits regarding this case?
it is very possible that the op will not come back here again, he just came to complain and has no interest in the forum or to give us complete information about the state of the case.
2963  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Giveaway Ethereum: by using the blue tick (verification) on his Twitter on: September 15, 2022, 08:26:19 PM

also, reported.
It is interesting that these are verified accounts, at least judging by the badge next to the nickname
It's also interesting that these accounts later claims that they were hacked. Could this be a new way of scamming. Everyone likes easy money and twitter users seems to use it as their greatest tools especially some of these verified accounts where the blue badge surely gives a high peace of mind to the people who are not aware of crypto scamming.

maybe they were in this group of hijacked Twitter profiles, but they noticed it later. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Twitter_account_hijacking
however, it's still strange to me how everything became so viral because accounts with very little influence were used. however, I would be the first to trust a verified profile, hackers usually don't want to compromise their personal info.
2964  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A rooted phone for a crypto user safe ? on: September 13, 2022, 11:04:52 PM
As the majority says, it's a big NO.

With a rooted phone, it can be malware that can easily breach your mobile security which is completely not ideal for security purposes especially if your phone has improper roots which are possible easily to put a system glitch.  The rooted phone is only for those who want to modify or customize their software.

I'd rather buy a hardware wallet because it has built-in security features.

it's really hard for me to understand, why people are ready to use risky variants to store cryptocurrencies when there are hardware wallets with a reasonable price.
I use Trezor, I don't remember that he himself ever complicated my work. and I use it on a daily basis.

I am wondering, how to make a backup of the rooted phone. What if something goes wrong?
2965  Other / Archival / Re: USDT Loan on: September 13, 2022, 10:54:08 PM
500 € is less

i'm giving 10 % intrest 550 €

So, your thread with 6 pages is not enough for you, now you come here to ask loan. Although you must have already received an explanation several times why there is no possibility to get free money here, you are still trolling.
the fact that you're asking for twice as much as the OP doesn't make you any more attractive.

for both of you, the purpose of this forum is not a gift of money between strangers, you misunderstood something, and here come people who throw away money.
2966  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk forum mobile app on: September 13, 2022, 10:46:51 PM
Yes something is needed but a third party app is questionable as many have posted.

Bitcointalk accounts have a certain value not only because of signature or bounty campaigns. I believe, the third-party app for using this forum is not a good idea. Some users even use two accounts, one for regular posting and one from "other" devices. Check LoyceV, he also has a LoyceMobile account just to remove any possibility of compromising the main account.

2968  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Another one bites the dust! But this one's different. The Hotbit case. on: September 13, 2022, 08:58:59 PM
Part 2 update:
https://hotbit.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/8794402090263-The-Latest-Announcement-of-Hotbit-Platform-Part-2

The Deficit system
https://hotbit.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/5237407755031

What I understand from the deficit system is they are going to airdrop affected users with a shitcoin that they use to stake it in their ponzi service, feel free correct me if I am wrong.
They are running away from the responsibility of refunding their customer's assets they need a better compensation plan.

I understood that they somehow "lost" certain funds. there is no clear confirmation as to how this happened, nor did they say transparently how much the deficit is exactly. but they promise that all future profits will be used to cover this loss.
I'm not sure about that scenario, because I believe that now a large number of users will withdraw funds if it is really possible from there.
2969  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BRINGA.ME - Decentralized courier service on: September 13, 2022, 08:10:11 PM
Oh, I was really wrong, thanks for the feedback, couriers can earn from $ 200 a day working full time (~ 0.0088096 BTC )
All I am getting right now is login page for creating my order, and that's about it, so is there any page on your website with more information about your service?
You are paying people directly with Bitcoin, and that Bitcoin is held in custodial or non-custodial wallets?
There should be some FAQ page and same for Privacy Policy.

The title says: "Decentralized courier service", I am quite curious, what exactly makes this service decentralized? one person who will send bitcoin earnings to couriers?

I see Churkin account recently woke up, and one more issue I noticed is that domain is registered from Russia, so I would be very careful with this:

Quote
Updated Date: 2022-09-09T13:20:06Z
Creation Date: 2022-07-31T19:25:07Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2023-07-31T19:25:07Z

I would say more than careful, the domain is less than two months old.
2970  Economy / Reputation / Re: wwzsocki suspected alt of ziyush on: September 13, 2022, 07:54:19 PM
If I understand correctly, user ziyush complains about the negative feedback you left him, while wwzsocki talking about you being added to your distrust list. He clearly cares about being a DT member.
there is not much connection here to connect as alt accounts, the only thing that is similar is that they sent you some kind of request via PM.
2971  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: cheapest and safest way to buy bitcoin on: September 13, 2022, 07:38:45 PM
Basically, according to the comments of their administrator on the forum, only the sale of cryptocurrencies and other financial instruments is prohibited, not the purchase. On the other hand, Payoneer prohibits all peer-to-peer payments, so I am not sure under what circumstances it would be possible to purchase cryptocurrencies while complying with their terms.

this may all seem a bit confusing but I guess the risk is to go against their TOS.

I find on the BestChange site one exchanger which offers Payoneer to bitcoin, maybe it is really possible, but I would still contact BestChange and the exchanger first of all

2972  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crex24 out of business?? on: September 13, 2022, 07:30:22 PM
I don't know what country they operate out of (and I'm too lazy and tired to check), but I'm wondering if they got pressured by regulators to comply with something that they either can't or are unwilling to.  There's always been a need for exchanges that list all of those shitcoins OP showed screenshots of, and I can't imagine they weren't making money.

I read in the feedback from Trustpilot, that it would be said that they are from Russia. These are screenshots only from the last few posts, they were delisted for major coins like ZEC, XRP, ADA, BCH, and EOS even earlier.

This probably started few months ago, and this is their way of saying adios to everyone  Smiley

they introduced some innovations in exit scams. Regularly announcing coin delisting and remaining time to recover it. who cares if it is possible to access the platform and withdraw coins from there?
2973  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary account banned! [Appeal][1+ year passed] on: September 13, 2022, 05:07:52 PM
I was banned due to plagiarism as per last responses and I do accept the mistake and plead for forgiveness.
Coming onto @stompix's allegations, those still are assumptions not proven.

I've come back after all these years looking for forgiveness. I've had enough punishment for past 3.5 years.
Still I respect the decision taken by staff or other members but I want to keep my side infront of everyone as well.
I've been a member since 2014 and all these years I've learned a lot from this forum and wish to continue doing so in future as well.

maybe you have already answered such questions, I didn't read everything in the thread because it is quite old.

Can you explain, why you want this account back? I mean, why is he so important to you? You did not do any business with them so it is important for you to use it.
Also, if in some case it happens, would it still be interesting to you if the account was unbanned but without the possibility of having signatures? permanent suspension of signature, but you have access to the forum and can participate in discussions and learn new things, are you fine with that?
2974  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto investors ? We need you ! on: September 13, 2022, 04:37:43 PM
We all need crypto investors, but they became a rarity  Wink
I filled out your survey, it seems you are making one more portfolio application. after all, you are only interested in the preferable appearance and whether we like to share data from the portfolio.
Better post here your first version, so investors will be able to see in which direction you are going and possibly make suggestions for improvement.
although I am of the opinion that there are already enough portfolio options, maybe only if you make a good implementation for NFT assets.
2975  Economy / Exchanges / Crex24 out of business?? on: September 13, 2022, 04:17:13 PM
it seems that another small exchange is going out of business. They were not a particularly important player in the market, although I personally had no special complications with them, I saw a lot of accusations against them.
unfortunately, there is no official announcement, nor is it possible to get any information on the website. they just keep doing business in their shady way.

somewhere I saw that even earlier they banned all users from Europe and the USA, Australia. I am not sure if can anyone access them. I tried but I can't access their website, even if I use a VPN with Asian IP.

On his Twitter and Telegram channels, they publish a list of coins that will be delisted from the platform.

according to the volume displayed on CMC, there is only $240,373.32 or 11 BTC per 24h, while BTC/USDT is only $281.13
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/crex24/

I suggest that anyone who might have some funds there, try to get them out of there or forget them forever.
2976  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits is holding my $4.5k withdrawal without explanation!!!! on: September 13, 2022, 03:09:22 PM
OP, I would say that they are suspicious because you had two withdrawals in a very short period of 16 minutes. if you did not break their rules, I believe that there will be no problem with the payment. although that's what many people said here, in the end, it turned out that they had multiple accounts or that they were abusing some error on the platform.
I agree with the previous suggestion that you contact them via the account here or point them in their ANN thread to these accusations.

If it were me, I would give more time than that on the basis they have been in contact with the OP addressing the issue. If the Duelbits representative posts here, after reading what they have to say about this issue maybe will contradict what the OP is telling us. I hope the issue gets resolved as soon as possible.

If 48-72 hours had passed then OP's post would have been acceptable. I think he can't keep his patience because his withdrawal is stuck in Duelbits. He should have waited if he had kept in touch with support team. Another thing the OP needs to remember is that today is Sunday, so maybe there has been no progress in resolving this complaint. Hope Dulebits comes up with a proper solution to OP's complaint.

you seem to be overprotective of Duelbits here. recently there were two cases where the whole thing lasted longer than three weeks, if I remember correctly, even then you thought it was too early to complain.
honestly, I don't think there are any elements of attempted fraud by Duelbits here, but you JollyGood seem to lose your sharpness because you are in their campaign.

Whoops! Sorry, am new here and kinda used to reddit and wrongly assumed that quoting was acceptable and I guess I didn't see that, thanks for sharing. Will be sure to keep in mind going forward!

however, it is not mandatory to reply to every post here, we try to be as constructive as possible.
2977  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for product description for cryptocurrency miners (e-commerce website) on: September 13, 2022, 02:42:32 PM
You set 1000 rules for just $5. Hey, this isn't the days of slavery, dude. If you want something of quality, you'll have to pay a fair price for it. You can only pay $5 for your product description? Come on, you can do better. Mining equipment is insanely expensive.

No matter if is it the subject of sale cheap or expensive, you can't expect quality without money.
he called it a description because that sounds like much less work than if he was looking for someone to write articles for him.
Writing a description is cheaper than writing article  Cheesy
2978  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Portfolio Tracking on: September 13, 2022, 02:31:04 PM
How are you all tracking your Crypto/NFT investments and managing P&L? Huh

for my needs, Coingecko is more than enough, but not sure how functional it is with NFT because I'm not a big fan of it.
how realistic is it at all to get a real value for NFT in the portfolio tracker?
2979  Economy / Services / Re: Site testing, Need advice! on: September 13, 2022, 02:19:47 PM
This is a project that accepts Bitcoins and me need to check whether everything will be in order!  Smiley

Hello twiki.

I'm a web developer and i have reported bugs in crypto related sites in the past. If you want send me a PM with the link and i will take a look. If i find any bug i will let you know.

I am not sure why didn't he leave a link to the site here, surely he would get some more useful suggestions.

OP, we talked through PM, but it seems that you didn't accept what I write to you.
2980  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Giveaway Ethereum: by using the blue tick (verification) on his Twitter on: September 13, 2022, 11:43:43 AM
I am not sure what is the purpose of posting up fake giveaways. maybe the only thing that will get more likes and retweets, is even the accounts themselves have 400-1400 followers. therefore there was no significant profit there either.

Accounts reported! tho the other guy has already changed persona  Cheesy

also, reported.
It is interesting that these are verified accounts, at least judging by the badge next to the nickname
