2961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 💃 The Legends Room token 💃 ~ REDUX or: The Drama Continues (A Tragic Comedy)😘 on: March 27, 2017, 01:00:07 AM
EDIT: Kevin updated the last post in the now closed The Legends Room thread, with the new version below the horizontal line (raw; I did not correctly format it).

Looks like Vanbex did the right thing. Seriously, I'm grateful because I've told a many folks that I like its founder, Lisa Cheng (in a business sort of way, not the other, if you get my drift).

The Legends Room tread is now locked. The following was its last post by Kevin Hobbs of Vanbex who I just got off the phone with and is a good guy. Glad I did't stick it up his ass too badly during the thread's existence, not once discrediting Lisa. To be clear, I had no qualms with the concept and what it consisted of. It was just that there were too many red flags associated with this project that those involved (not Vanbex) couldn't transparently account for, and still can't to this very day. Further, it was nothing personal toward Nick, Stephan or Peter, TLR's partners, with the exception of how they related to this now defunct project.

The Legends Room Membership Token Offering Cancelled
All funds raised will be returned to contributors

Announcing the cancellation of the Legends Room Membership Token Offering and returning all Ether to those who purchased the venture’s “VIP” tokens in the digital sale launched Feb. 24, 2017.

Due to the recent circumstances with the change in management and loss of the original proposed venue for The Legends Room, in addition to the lack of information provided, we feel it is in the best interests of the community and the contributors to cancel the Membership token offering and return the funds.

The Legends Room, a Las Vegas gentlemen's club behind the VIP members token, was unable to provide sufficient evidence supporting documentation to validate claims made, which includes failure to show:

A legitimately purchased and owned establishment, which was designated as the venue for The Legends Room club;
Signed partnership agreements originally outlined prior to the launch of the sale.

As part of every coin or token offering, Vanbex safeguards participants by holding all contributions in escrow.

Digital currency exchange Bittrex will be conducting the refund process on its exchange. If you contributed through Bittrex please contact them for the refund.

We hope faith in this industry continues to grow and know events such as these have the capacity to cause irreparable harm.

We pledge to continue to improve industry standards in the digital currency and blockchain space which means trying to ensure all ventures we align ourselves with are honest, open and in the public’s best interest. The community at-large should always be protected.

All inquiries regarding this membership token offering and its cancellation should email K@vanbex.com. Please provide your email address and TXID. All refunds will be processed to the addresses in which sent the ether.

The Vanbex Group is not and will no longer be involved with any current or future work or action that comes out The Legends Room venture, or any such affiliated operations.

The current VIP Token contract designating distribution of the digital currency will be invalid. We advise anyone considering this venture in the future to do the proper due diligence to protect their contribution.

Nick Blomgren has made a statement about our actions however this is a false accusation. We have a letter from Nick and the venture’s co-founder Peter Klamka stating that they will be terminating the contract, cancelling the sale and we are to return the funds as we have advised to do multiple times prior to receiving this email and attached letter.

Returns can start as early as April 16 when the smart contract ends and the VIP tokens are unlocked.

Some people like Gay VouchTard get their dick hard by being the only person on the planet who purchased a $5,000 VIP membership to The Legends Room, while I get my dick hard by bumping this thread in reporting said fact.

"Yes, Sister Mary Christina, say you love me."

"The only days that I'm not pole dancing at The Legends Room is when I'm recovering from having another abortion. My favorite customer is Gay VouchTard, a prosecutor from DC who drives a Tesla and had a perfect 2017 bracket going into the third round in spite of SMU losing in the first round to the Trojans, but he correctly picked Wisconsin over Villanova. Ironic that SMU is what Gay wears - Smelly Medium-sized Underwear and dons Trojans procured from Cosmo Kramer. When do I get my 45 bucks?"

All the accusations here a mere hearsay!

I wonder why the trolls are still so excited here, get a life! you failed to discredit this project, you only discredited yourselves.

Time will tell, go waste your energy somewhere else  Grin

Come back in September if this project does not deliver, then you can troll! now it's useless.

What a fuckin moron! How the fuck is all our accusations here a mere hearsay when one of our accusations is that to date Qtum's $15M non-profit endowment is nothing but hearsay, they've yet to provide a single proof that such even occurred?

It's you, cocksuckeroverflow, that's continually being discredited with each and every post you pen and not us, this reply being a prime example.

According to you, we should all go away and let nobody post on this thread whatsoever, but come September Qtum will either post that their platform is fully functionally and all is shall or investors will return demanding where Team Qtum went to, for they're nowhere to be found on the Internet, a very likely scenario given that their MO is exactly the same as all other nefarious actors who came before them in this space. To boot, if you're still around, cocksuckeroverflow, you'll be championing some other nefarious brand with jeez dripping from your chin. AND THAT'S THE FUCKIN TRUTH!

Yes they are involved with previous ico scam and ran away with bitcoin
@JimRussell. Can you give a link to this "previous ICO" or any other proof of this scam?

Here's a good place to start: https://medium.com/@icocountdown/due-diligence-pack-for-qtum-7369ef48917b#.a6bqulp3k

And here's a link to the previous project Dai scammed: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=890531.msg17942817#msg17942817

And this is Gleb: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=349097
You can find additional dirt on this project not contained in the medium.com post by looking at his past posts in this thread (and other threads, for example you can see the thread he started to get help from the mods to prove that stackoverflow manipulated an image to try to make it look like Gleb was extorting him for money- a good example of why you should not believe a thing stackoverflow says: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1813991.msg18070334#msg18070334 and you can also find all the previous scams he was successful in spotting prior to this one)

cocksuckeroverflow is the Bruce Peterson of Qtum just like Gay VouchTard is the Bruce Peterson of The Legends Room. For those playing at home, Bruce Peterson was BFL's biggest fanboy, then I proved that Bruce was literally working for BFL at their KC plant. http://www.coindesk.com/alibaba-pwc-partner-to-fight-food-fraud-with-blockchain/

China-based e-commerce giant Alibaba has teamed up with PwC to develop a system to reduce food fraud using blockchain tech.

The Alibaba Australia project, which also includes AusPost and nutritional supplement maker Blackmores as partners, is aimed to improve the way foods are tracked, cutting down on the risk of counterfeit products on the market.

The so-called 'Food Trust Framework' effort will see the partners build a pilot blockchain platform in Australia that will track products from producer to consumer.

"This will include the development of a pilot blockchain technologies solution model for vendors to be utilized by participants across the supply chain," Alibaba said in a statement today.

According to ZDNet, Alibaba said the blockchain platform would allow shipments to be tracked in real-time, as well as improving security and transparency in the fight against fraud.

"The signing of today's agreement is the first step in creating a globally respected framework that protects the reputation of food merchants and gives consumers further confidence to purchase food online," said Maggie Zhou, managing director of Alibaba Group Australia and New Zealand.

Food fraud has increasingly become an issue, especially in Alibaba's home nation of China. The new initiative is being seen as a testbed for solutions to the issue that has cost lives in the country and elsewhere.

The move may also bolster Alibaba's reputation following accusations that its online marketplaces are rife with counterfeit goods.

So PWC involved with Qtum too ?

Allow me to also quote this wall of text to state that Walmart is already doing something like this announced last year, they being the first mega entity to make the quantum leap into blockchain technology.

Apologies for following the lead and not quoting the source given that's the theme of this thread, viz. Qtum garnered $15M during their ICO soon to be proven via Wikipedia ... [wait] ... here's the Wiki link penned by ... wait for it ... Team Qtum.

Meanwhile, users are having trouble assessing the Chinese exchanges so to view their precious Qtum tokens - froken till September AT THE EARLIEST - yet this is NOT a scam cuz this is how venerable entities operate in this space.

The other thing that nobody has addressed besides myself is how Qtum is planning of having over $5M in their coffer when it's illegal for a non-profit in Singapore to amass over $5M in revenue?

I wonder what glebby and co will do if the team actually posts the proof they received the money  Grin

Oh I know, they will immediately find some other nonsense to accuse this project of and forget about it!

Likewise, I wonder what cocksuckeroverflow and co will do if Team Qtum is proven beyond doubt to be a scam.

Oh I know, he will disappear like all others who came before him kowtowing nefarious actors exhibiting the same MO.

Crypto Newbie: How do we know that Bitcoin isn't a Ponzi scheme?
Bitcoin Community: Here's the proof.

Crypto Newbie: Has Bitcoin ever been hacked?
Bitcoin Community: No. Here's the proof.

Crypto Newbie: Why can blockchains be trusted?
Bitcoin Community: Math. Here's the proof.

Bitcoin Community: Qtum, where are the blockchain transactions depicting the garnered $15M during your ICO?
Qtum: Crickets!!! (with the exception of Team Qtum regularly providing links to articles stating such via echoing Qtum's proclaimed within-hours windfall)

Ergo, A SCAM!

Q.E.D.

Qtum: We just got $15M during our ICO.
Newspaper: Can we print that?
Qtum: Yes.
Newspaper: Qtum just got $15M during their ICO.
Qtum: Hey, community, checkout this link of a new mention of our windfall.

hi I'm actually bigvern I will answer any questions you have for me. I just watched moonlight it made me cry and I'm about to roast some chinese beets. I'm a person just like any of you and it's really mean how you're kind of picking on me and stuff, but whatever. any questions just shoot, I'm an open book

Really?  Here's my question: when are you going to give me back my 25 DASH?  It's a lot bigger deal to me now that the price has been pumped.  I suspect that a lot more people are going to revisit this debacle now that the stakes are a bit higher.  A fifty dollar loss is easier to ignore than a now 2500 dollar loss....

wait.....you know that isn't actually him, right?

Wait... I just sent him $1,000 and he - thinking it was Paul Vernon - was gonna send me the private keys to the $10M worth of BTC. HOW CAN I BE SO STUPID!  Tongue

Leakers gotta leak!

Calvin is Dr Wright's best friend, he is NOT his business partner.

He does not own a single share of Dr. Wright's company and Dr. Wright doesn't owe him anything.

Dr. Wright's wage is one of the lowest in the company.  It is what is needed to stay in the UK and not a cent more.

So, yes, Dr. Wright started with poker, but now I he is pure Bitcoin.

Here is the other thing. I does not work for bonuses.   He works to make BTC worth more.  He has zero Alts, just BTC and he is going to make it work.

Dr. Wright did not sell out for money, he did not receive much at all.  His salary does not even cover the school fees.

Dr. Wright got investors to ensure that he is funded for the fight, but more... That he has people to fill in his short comings.

Finally, Dr. Wright and Calvin Ayre have money so they have no need to sell their BTC.

When are they going to release the coin? i hope we dont have to wait till mainnet is launched.

It's not possible to release the tokens until the main network is finished.

Can you look into the log-in problem on the ICO dashboard please ? Cheers !

This is for Bizhongchou? We will contact them right now.

Shitcoin Rising!

Ether is at ~$4 billion with Bitcoin around $15 billion.

I think ether will have a bigger marketcap than btc soon as btc plummets and idiots, err, investors flock to turds like ETH.  Dash is another dog at $99 ($700 million) I think that pig will cross the $1 billion mark.

LTC, now at $4, close to activating segwit so that may see a nice run over $10.

Dash at $139.15, here we come! NOT Leroy Fodor math here -> 1,000,000,000/7,186,290 = 139.15.

BTC at $1,231.79 soon!

Total market cap for all cryptos at $30B by summer.
