2961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to go in crypto lets leave fiat cutrency on: April 08, 2022, 07:42:18 AM
Maybe possible with doge if supply of it get burned.
If DOGE will gain adoption then the demand will increase.
Though DOGE has a huge supply but you still see how significant the increase it has in the past year, however, we have to make sure that it was due to a real adoption, not due to hype only.

Whatever Cryptocurrency and fiat, both are difficult things. You can use both. if your Government accept bitcoin, then there are lots of stores, supermarkets which accept bitcoin and you can enjoy fully go in crypto but as government can't control it, they'll never let replace fiat with crypto but they'll allow to use it anyway, possibly apply taxing on it
TAX is automatic once crypto is being regulated.
2962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 08, 2022, 07:05:06 AM
They are both already past their prime.

That one I do not agree with for GGG, he has not lost a fight since 2019, in fact, his only loss is against Canelo who is a great fighter and that one was still controversial until now, so I think there's no basis for calling GGG has passed his prime.
2963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 08, 2022, 05:33:33 AM

I still need lots of analysis before placing a bet although I already have some considerations.

Seems to me that Ginebra will take Game 2 but the handicap for Meralco is also eye-catchy. But more on, I will take Ginebra ML.

As usual, game-time decision before placing my bet. Hoping also for odds adjustment in favor of Ginebra to at least an additional @1 for their ML odds.

The odds seem nothing suspicious to me. IIRC, in game 1, Ginebra is -2.5, they lose by 11 points so -1.5 being them as the favorite is alright. I took the spread already last night thinking it might go up and I might miss the opportunity.
2964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 07, 2022, 08:59:52 PM

For tomorrow's game, I have 76ers +2 vs Raptors and Grizzlies +3 vs Nuggets. Both are on their road games.

Good luck, both road teams, right?

I'm not sure if these teams will still play with the same intensity knowing that they already have the position they need to qualify in the playoffs, but I'm sure it's still fun to watch this and I think road both picks are good.

Mine, I got Celtics Moneyline, they are +8.5 against Bucks.
2965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 07, 2022, 08:41:37 PM
Murata is confident about this fight with GGG and he believes that he is already way past his prime. They are citing GGG's poor performance against Kamil Szeremeta.

That is just one fight though, we really don't know if GGG is no longer at his best because he is 40 years old. So he shouldn't be that confident as he might be in for a surprise if GGG can still fight as if he is not 40 years old.

Even GGG already past from his prime but if he got lucky and land a solid punch to Murata that still can bring him down, we really can't say who will going to win from both fighters, they are unpredictable a careless move will give the other side a good chance to knock their opponent's down, best to play solid defense while analysing on how to perform solid attacks and win the fight.

That's not a problem with GGG because he has been in that situation many times and most of the time he was victorious. He wouldn't be popular if he is not a great fighter, and if only age is the reason why people think he will lose, then I think they are wrong because Pacman has proven that, so I think GGG could do the same.

Just try to analyze the age difference,
Murata 36 years old
GGG 39 years old.

not much of a difference, right?
2966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 07, 2022, 02:08:17 PM
Imagine how great they will be if Leonard will come back.
Also, in that article it was stated that coach Ty Lue might win the coach of the year award this season, I think he deserves that one.
Let's see, but whether no Leonard, I still believe that Clippers are capable of making a surprise in the playoffs.

It depends on your expectation, if they believe that the Clippers will not pass the first round and yet they did, then that is a surprise.

Yet another super ugly loss by the Chicago Bulls, I just don’t understand why these guys simply can’t beat any good teams at all. Thankfully they haven’t lost even more games or they’d be in the unfortunate position of having to face off versus either the play-in teams like the Nets might be or fall so far they’d have to face one of the very top teams in the east (Philadelphia 76rs, Milwaukee Bucks etc). I still have little faith they can do anything else other than maybe win one series, no way they can win two.

As much as I want them to experience the Finals this year, but it seems like they lost the momentum they had early this season. And they're going to face either the Bucks, Phila, or Celtics. That's some tough opponent right there and I have a bad feeling they'll be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
They had a good season early though. They were better against everyone in the league at one point.

It's hard to trust a team that is struggling now, that would not change right away, especially in the playoffs.
To be honest, I'd rather trust a team that starts with struggling early in the season but were able improve as the season is ending.

If you guys are waiting for game 2 odds, you can now check the betting sites because it's already up now.

In my bookie, the odds are as follows.

Ginebra ML > 1.75
Ginebra spread > -1.5

Grab this one early.
2968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 07, 2022, 12:25:02 PM
Let's hope that it's really what is happening, or best if that case is just a rumor to distract Casimero. There are things really that we don't know happening to their personal life, we know Casimero being a trash talking but we didn't know he has a history of sexually harassing women.

There's no such reason as that case is intended to distract Casimero. It's a valid and legit lawsuit.

The case was filed by a Government agency therefore they sees solid evidence and proofs provided by the complainants. They won't waste their time filing that case just for the purpose of distracting Casimero from his upcoming fight since complainants won't be benefited from it.

As long as Casimero's legal team are sure that this lawsuit is just trash, no need for Casimero to worry if his conscience is really clean.

At that point, it's hard to tell who between the two parties is telling the truth, let this case be judged in court. Casimero is still a champion now no matter what, but with him losing his focus, I think that would end his career, so yes, I believe that he will remain focused and will be successful in defending his belt.

Exactly, let's just trust the court to make their decision, while we fans should be busy discussing the coming fight. More than two weeks and we will finally see the fight as this is still happening on April 22, 2022, with no postponement whatsoever despite the rumors about team Butler asking who his opponent is.

2969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 07, 2022, 11:32:33 AM
^^ Normal Powell already played against the Suns and scored 24 points. So definitely he is back, what everyone is waiting is for Kawhi Leonard. Because we all know that he is the leader of the Clippers. And their chances increases if he is not injured last year. So another great player that we will anticipate if he can play in the play in or playoff with the Clippers.

Was there a rumor that he will be able to play in the playoffs?

I mean, if there's at least a rumor about that, then I guess it's worth betting on the Clippers to win the championship this season.
In fact, I'm impressed with how this team has developed, if you look at the statistics on every game, you will see how great the chemistry is with the distribution of points among the players.

He wasn't officially ruled out in the postseason so the chance is still open for Leonard to play.

Will Kawhi actually return?
The Clippers have just three games left and it seems rather unlikely that Leonard will return in the regular season.

The team however, still hasn't ruled Leonard out for the postseason and the two-time Finals MVP has been recently ramping up his activity.

Imagine how great they will be if Leonard will come back.

One more game to look into is the Kings vs Pelicans. I'll go for the Pelicans -7.5 to secure that 9th seed. Good luck.
I want to bet more but the spreads are not encouraging, I will check who will play during live games first before making another bet.
This is one for sure is worth to look at. Pelicans need to win this game, so that -7.5 is not too much for them to cover if they will ensure to win the game and dominate the Kings. I'm thinking of betting Pelicans to win 11+ 2.02 odds, I think that's fair enough given the Pelicans is a great team who are desperate to win. CJ over 23.5, this one too is good.
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 05, 2022, 09:29:53 PM
Indeed, just like foreigner playing as import in the PBA getting a bigger salary than the locals.

Yes, but we are used to see Americans playing as import in PH not Filipinos playing as import abroad. I mean, it's a big recognition for the Filipino professional players getting an offer abroad as it does not happen all the time and we owe that to the B-League.

AFAIK, only one Filipino are playing in big leagues like the NBL in Australia and that is Kai Sotto.
The door was opened after the international performance of our very own Gilas, they show to the world that our raised is also competitive playing this game, Japan's B-League is a good venue for pinoy stars who wanted to experience playing outside the PBA, they've been given good opportunities to showcase their talents and bring our flag up.

Glad to see that both the Ravenas are doing great playing with their respective teams.

They are really competing and giving our nation a pride that we can give pain in the ass to whoever talents we encountered.

They deserve to be where they are now, they are both discipline and talented players, so for sure the team where they are playing are getting what they are expecting from them. I think there will be more players that will sign the B-Leauge if PBA would not make an adjustment of their salary rate.

By the way there's a rumor that Romeo will be traded to Northport for Bollick and Malonzo, is this even possible?

It's very rewarding if you are satisfied with the salary, in fact, the B League offers a bigger salary than in the PBA, and yet some players who were invited to join still choose to stay. There are rumors that Romeo, Abueva, and Fajardo are invited but they remain loyal to the current league.

Definitely agree with you because there are star players in the PBA that choose to play in the B- League. One example is Ravena, he was already a star player of the NLEX, so I expect that he is receiving a big salary, and yet he choose to play abroad due to a bigger opportunity or increase of salary.

Speaking of B-League, we have fresh news that I just read today about an SMB player who is set to play in B-Leauge.

No chance for the Nets to be in the top 6, with the loss to the Hawks, they'll be in the play-in tournament.

I don't understand why Irving and Durant try to do everything in the scoring department, they don' share the ball well, in this loss, only two of them have scored a double-digit, not good for a team.

If they will lose in the play-in tournament, that would be a major disappointment for the fans because they were expecting the Nets to compete in the playoff which is in jeopardy right now because of the current play they have in court which does not really have a good result so far. luckily only a few games left in the season because if there were more games, they are more likely to become like the Lakers who are out of the play-in tournament.

Of course, fans will be disappointed as it's another super team not able to make it to the playoffs. We slowly accepted that the Lakers has a very less chance of making the playoffs based on how they are playing now, but not seeing the Nets, I think that's another big thing, and I don't believe that it will happen.

Simmons has not played yet, imagine how it will improve the defense if he will be in the court.
I hope he will fit though.  Smiley

There’s also a bonus if a player got an individual award aside from getting a bonus on winning the title,
Yes, they have. I think I've read it in the past years that those that got awards have their special bonus aside from the overall bonus that they've got for being a champ.
That's already out of the reported salary, maybe non-taxable, so they will enjoy that bonus.
For individuals and as a team, both would receive an award, I'm even thinking that Ginebra and Meralco are already getting an award now that they are in the PBA Finals.

playing Basketball in PBA is also rewarding, you just need to prove your worth and you can be good imagine how much money you can make on every conference. Meralco vs Ginebra is a good match up, no more bias games and placing your bet is not easy here, so think well before you bet.
This is entirely for any sport not just in basketball and in the league of PBA. It's truly rewarding if you've made a name on your area, you'll get a lot of recognition and very lucrative in a manner that you can retire early but due to opportunities, you really have to hit them first.

Poor Durant. Scored career high 55 but still lost. Ice Trae was in the building! Quavo is happy, whole Atlanta is happy.

I guess Durant is fighting for the scoring title for this season that's why he tried to score as much as he can. And yeah, we all know how Ice cold Trae Young is, so of course he will deliver in front of home crowd with 36 big points to go with 8 assists. So they move go 8th solo and with their 5th straight win.

No chance for the Nets to be in the top 6, with the loss to the Hawks, they'll be in the play-in tournament.

Bucks' game was a trap, suddenly rest their stars. While Clippers need that win so they could keep the 8th spot. I think they are safe in that position now or they are 1 win away to keep it.
2 upset games that I watched. Nuggets were defeated by the T'wolves where I lost my bet and Dallas Mavericks were blown out by the Wizards.
Caldwell Pope red hot and the Unicorn helping to defeat his former team.
I got a parlay for the Spurs, Celtics, Raptors, and Mavs to win. Sadly, the Mavs was the only one who let me down and broke it.  Cry

Everyone lost today, even the Suns were outplayed by the Memphis. But I do agree that the Bucks games was not expected, I have them -5.5 against the Clippers and when I got the time to check the score, it was Clippers with a huge lead.

Celtics win but didn't cover the spread, it was a total disaster for us NBA bettors.

If you assume that majority of the bettors' bets are on the favorites, then you are right it's a bad day for us. However, some bettors are too smart to carefully analyze the game, and they just don't bet on the favorite without making deep research first.

For me, I expected Memphis to cover because they have been playing excellent basketball, in fact, they are in the good run so covering the handicap is very possible, but they exceed my expectation because they win the game.

...>< it was Harris in game 4 but he was injured in this game which the Meralco has taken it as an advantage to beat the Magnolia.
Bad game for the Hotshots, they were up early but they weren't able to keep the lead and allow the Meralco to have a big run. Because the game was very physical, injuries cannot really be avoided, and if Harris wasn't injured, I guess Meralco would say goodbye, but they got lucky so let's welcome them to the PBA Finals. (GINEBRA in 4) Grin

When Harris got injured, it was over for the Hotshots. They can't find anybody to carry them offensively as Paul Lee really struggles in this series while Ian Sangalang was not so effective down low, i thought before the series that this is for the Hotshots to win because they have Sangalang and Abueva that will hassle them in the board but i am totally wrong lol.

With Pringle and Japeth back in the Finals, seems like that the Bolts is in trouble but i'll give them at least a win or two before crowning the Kings.
Harris got injured, Lee is injured. No one can step up and carry the team thus they lost. Prayers for Mike Harris though and I hope he will recover.

For sure this will be a physical one (as it is always Cheesy) or I mean more physical than the normal one. We have Hodge that is a very good defender and just willing to sacrifice his body just to have extra possessions. I wonder who will he be defending. It might be Brownlee maybe. Ginebra in 6 for me or maybe 5 but not 4 even though Pringle and Japeth but there is a high chance it will be 6. More games = more revenue and more entertainment Cheesy.

That's an interesting match-up, but I think it will be import vs import.

The good thing with Meralco is that they proved they can win even if their import is struggling, their locals can produce to win and that's their advantage. Of course, Brownlee will continue to score, but if the locals will be limited, this would be a great series for Meralco.

Meralco is also a good defensive team, so they can match up the Ginebra's very defensive play.

Looking at the current price, this is really an opportunity.

DYOR, if you believe that this project will recover and would create its ATH, then why not risk buying at the current price.
You know, no one could tell what the future of the project will be, we all take risk but make sure it's a calculated risk.
2980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 02, 2022, 08:11:14 AM
I guess that was just a misinformation or rumor meant to scare the fans of Casimero that he is in a dangerous spot who's going to be stripped in his belt because of that lawsuit that we have no information about as we cannot literally see anything about that on the internet nor anything that Butler tweeted in the same context. Guys, let's be optimistic because the fight is still going to happen.

I'm one on those many people that hoping that this fight will push through as I'm a fan of Quadro Alas but this controversy that he is in right now is not a joke and coupled with the weight issue, this is really a challenging times for Casimero but i know that he could overcome these issues and come out victorious once he steps on that ring.

Why is it that the opponent's team seems to be not so sure that Casimero will fight, and his camp is looking for a replacement? There's no news about this and his camp is silent. The match is fast approaching. If Casimero will not fight because of the lawsuit, then, his boxing career is now in question.

First, we need to verify if the information is legit, as I read, it was only a rumor and there's even no post regarding that rumor about the team Butler asking MP promotion on who will be their opponent. Let us not make it a big story, focus on the scheduled fight so we will be able to enjoy it.

As of now, this fight still has no betting odds in my sportsbook.
