2961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN PEOPLE - Do you have a business that accepts Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2018, 03:42:11 AM
Hi,

We've just launched a great new website called BitcoinPeople.

It's a free to use directory showcasing all the businesses that accept Bitcoin as a method of payment.

Great for companies to advertise themselves on and a super easy way for customers to find somewhere to spend their hard earned Bitcoins.

The website has only just been launched so there are only a tiny amount of businesses featured on there at the minute. Therefore if you own (or know someone who owns) a business please visit BitcoinPeople and upload your listing!

Please follow us on Twitter @_bitcoinpeople

Thanks for reading and we appreciate your support!

I think this is a very smart application. They make use of the popularity of Bitcoin and make a profit from it. I think this will be a very successful application in the future and make a profit. This is a new trend and we should apply it to enrich ourselves and enrich the Cryptocurrency market.

Yeah this can be very helpful in the long run, since a directory would make finding what you need become a lot easier especially for business accepting crypto. At this point, it's not that easy yet to look for establishments that are open to bitcoin transactions and you'll just see them pop up every now and then
2962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: July 12, 2018, 03:38:18 AM
Of course, and i am more than impatient to see what is going to happen on the next few years as soon as there is another mainstream adoption and everybody will be using bitcoins for normal transactions, but it will take a little time to see it happening

Bitcoin and crypto basically goes against what banking is so i don't think that'll happen. The future of banking would probably be obsolete or will be replaced by some other method but it likely won't be crypto
2963  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are there good sides in a war? on: July 11, 2018, 05:58:36 PM
war always got no good side, because there will always be innocent people who will suffer from this,

Yeah and what's worse is that the people killing each other usually are fed with false sense of patriotism and being used by people who sit comfortably in their homes. Some probably don't even know what their fighting for aside from they're fighting for their country, which is a huge bs if you ask me.
2964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: July 11, 2018, 05:41:57 PM
Ok! I was actually trying to get reasons why people get addicted to gambling which we all know is more self inflicted. However, I came up with this theory for someone who may actually want to gamble and then would not want to get addicted based on trying to fix their mentality about it and I would like to seek your opinion on what you think about it, if it can actually end up working for any gambler or not.

The theory is;
If you want to gamble, see it more like you are paying the casino or gambling platform to have some fun (just like you do to go watch some movies in cinema), which if you are paying for anything, you are not meant to expect it back. The good thing however is that, you can actually end up being paid more for having that fun if you get lucky, but the chances of seeing that happen is pretty slim. In that light, if you cannot actually live with doing what I said above, then you should not be gambling at all.

Does this sound like a mentality that can help anyone understand what they are in for if they indeed want to gamble or something even those who are tending towards addiction can set their mind to so as not to get into that deep gambling hole that is hard to come out from?

Interesting. But the differemce is people pay fixed amounts for recreational activities like watching a movie. In gambling, you may end up seeming to pay twice or thrice to watch the same movie  over and over again.
2965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 11, 2018, 05:38:35 PM

Not the system of Walton but the way Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson played. These guys are not used to have a one man team player in their respective former teams. These guys are used to ball rotation plays. The blending of these 3 will be good if all things are successfully executed on the way. If LeBron is the only new acquired player of the Lakers then I believed that his system will be brought to the Lakers but it's not.

That is one more factor that we need to see.
This guys are team players. Their kind of game might get affected when this see Lebron doing everything. (including ball handling which Rondo loves).
I bet this is also why Kyrie left the Cavs. He wants the ball handling to be taken care by him and not Lebron.

Critics will be looking at this team and there will be different stories that will come out. What if's, who and why.  Grin
I wanted to see how Lance will play together with Lebron. I remember before when Lebron is in Miami and Lance is in Pacers, he can guard Lebron well. This guy is good, hope his talent won't be wasted because of Lebron playing style, ballhog. Although Lebron is really a good player, he shouldn't play like that if he wants his team mate help him and contribute in scoring. Let's see if this three can build a chemistry.

Well it's going to be very interesting how walton will manage such a lineup with lebron in the center of it. On paper, the lakers really look formidable with a mix of young talents and veterans. Can't imagine the pressure this would be on young luke
2966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to secure your account! on: July 11, 2018, 01:57:18 PM
Well, there is too much fraud in the crypto community. Not just Bitfinex, but there exists a phishing idex site, which is an exact replica of the real one. It used to be promoted by Google adsense and many people had put their private keys in. Be careful guys!
Yes, I do believe only in cold offline wallets like ledger, and I suppose that on 90% of exchanges your money could be stolen, so be careful and use only meta mask.

Well even if the exchange where you store your money is actually secure, it's not really in your control as to what would happen to it. Until you transfer it to your own wallet, the exchange has control over it. Invest in a good hard wallet, thst's the best amd most secure way of storing your coins
2967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea to Relax Crypto Norms on: July 11, 2018, 01:52:20 PM
South Korea has reportedly made plans to loosen restrictions on cryptocurrencies based on the G20 meeting. The G20 meeting made efforts to create uniform regulations. Read on to know more!

Source : https://coinfrenzy.io/south-korea-relax-crypto-norms/

Well it was expected. Same as with other countriee that have the same stand as south korea before. They'll eventually realize that the positive effects of crypto anf blockchain will weigh more than the negative concerns which can be addressed through certain regulations
2968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People move out from cryptocurrency! on: July 11, 2018, 01:38:07 PM
I think the reason they will leave crypto is when they have found other investment. Technical knowledge is also one of the reason because we all know how difficult it is to understand and get used to it.

Well if people have already been in crypto and decides to leave, biggest reason of course if loss of money. Let's face it, one wrong decision can make you lose a lot. And people have lost a lot :p
2969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: July 11, 2018, 01:36:37 PM
If we talk about safer, of course save money in the bank is more safer than in crypto because every bank has a regulation and protected by the government but we can not expect for the rewards, is not worth it. But, if you want to get a big profit, you can try crypto but it's not safer and too risk since crypto price is volatile. All depends on us, risk taker or not. If you a risk taker, then you should go to crypto to growth your money.

Well the bigger the profit of course, the bigger the risk. When you have your money in a bank, you're backed up. You have laws to run to in case the bank loses money. Can't be said with crypto. Though the movement in banks is snail slow in interest, it's way more safe for storage
2970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are going to change our lives? on: July 11, 2018, 01:34:06 PM
I'm sorry for all the ones looking for speculations, this is not the purpose of the thread. I want to hear from the community about which coins will be making a difference in our world over the next few years.

It's really hard to predict on which coin will be the next Bitcoin, as you can see the market is really crowded of the coins that is why it's really difficult to tell which of them will bring fortune to our lives. All we can do is to believe on what we fight for and make sure you have studied the coin you were invested. For a good result, probably you might want to invest in the top 30 coins in the market in order to avoid huge losses in the future.
Well it's not about their monetary value i think. Projects that can really have an actual use like eth are probably going to be the first ones to make a difference. It's exciting really to think that blockchain will have a chance to do this in the future.
2971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: crypto going strong ? on: July 11, 2018, 01:31:53 PM
Base of the graph in the market and base on its statistics bitcoin and most of the altcoins are now going upwards and the value are rising again. So I think you are somehow late to buy and invest on any coins but a better opportunity to those who holds coins.
It seems to me that it is still too early to talk about the restoration and the growth of prices for coins, since a similar situation has been repeated many times, and this kind of growth lasted no more than one day. But I would like that it would not be so.

Yeah just yeaterday the market lost quite a big amount when it plunged and btc droppes back to around 6.5k usd. I can't seem to find the confidence to expect a bull run at this point.
2972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I learn trading ? on: July 11, 2018, 01:29:57 PM
You can find many useful literature and courses  in Internet. The most of he are free. And do not forget about professional courses. They will help you to customize your knowledge.

Why pay for professional course when you can pretty much find the same lessons for free? Youtube offers a lot of free trading tutorials with done even teaching advanced market reading. It takes time though so you have to invest time in it
2973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron (TRX) I missed the opportunity.. sad... on: July 11, 2018, 01:08:23 PM
Then problem is that unless you are cost averaging then you can still be buying at a higher price than the next day brings. When will the dip end? Nobody really knows right now, but the experts are saying it might last all the way until April.

April what? 2019? Nah. Within this yeat i think tron will make a strong move along with the other alts. It's the bear market and pretty much all alts are suffering with bitcoin's struggles. Probably by the last quarter of the year the market will really recover and then trx will be one of the alts to watch
2974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it? on: July 11, 2018, 01:06:08 PM
Some of them are right, I have a lot of bounty Campaigns especially on Facebook but having no sleep at night is sometimes true and not, lets say doing a lot of Signature Campaign cause me to took me a lot of time most especially if that ICO is a great one. Some of my friends are doing the same and they immerse themselves some in Trading and Translation Campaign.

Well it's not worth it all the time of course since personally i've had a couple of social media bounties that didn't actually stay true to what they initially promised or tokens that ended up worthless. Choose carefully so you won't waste time and effort because it can really be frustrating.
2975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn token and coin free ? on: July 11, 2018, 12:58:24 PM
There are a lot of ways to earn tokens and coins. You can join airdrops , join a bounty or signature campaign to earn coins. You can also buy a coin and earn airdrops.

Participating in bounties basically is the top way to get tokens and coins since you're basically earning them. So your exchanging your efforts instead of buying them at ico prices.
2976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 10, 2018, 05:39:24 PM
.. once again Lebron will be showing he can carry his team.

With the players Los Angeles Lakers acquired this free agency, Im not expecting a Cavaliers like playing style here and a carry scenario for LeBron James, it should changed. He have good role players around so I want to see Lakers as a whole man team. Anyways LeBron is now an official part of Lakers roster as he just signed it now.

I just find it awkward for Luke Walton to coached LeBron James as they are rookie mates back in NBA 2003 draft lol. Hope that no intimidation will happened.

Yeah I have the same thought. Can he make Lebron James respect him the way a coach should be.
Luke just started his coaching career and I am hoping it doesnt end with Lebron coming in.

Last season was full of young players but it will be different now. Adding guys like Stephenson and Rondo might make it worse.
He needs to get that respect.

The lakers certainly have beefed up and can be considered as legitimate title contenders but i think luke walton would have quite a hard time calling the shots. And then there's lavar as well causing quite a distraction.
2977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am sorry for the people on: July 10, 2018, 05:36:10 PM
Who are holding the coins with a ray of hope. It is not going to end good guys. Sell what you have, atleast you can get something out of it. If you are in the last batch who are left with the coins, you will not even get a condom with it.

 i totally agree wit hyou.
in february i have 150k dollar. now it dropped 15k. and i cant sell them for aa rising hope and i see that all of them are shitcoins.

Well it probably depends if you carelessly bought bogus coins that don't really have a usable project. Of course there will be people like you'll be a little more critical of crypto but with the number of supporters that it has as well? I'm sure it won't end as bad as you see it
2978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market going RED! on: July 10, 2018, 05:33:28 PM
Maybe profit taking!
Maybe people are trading for a quick profit and are not long term investors!
Oh sure. For example, traders get revenue in any situation on the market. They earn even when the market grows, and when the market falls. I think that having an investment portfolio, you can also trade

Well of course, whether the market is red or bulling, the movement is still up and down and traders who know what they're doing can simply ride those ups and downs to make little profits along the way
2979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: July 10, 2018, 05:31:50 PM
Tron will continue to evolve as a serious project due to its very very large community and followers. Most projects succeed due to these . It may be low on value right now, its just due to bear market season. Once bull market returns, tron will be one of the surging coins.

I kinda agree with you on that dude. Something about the people making noise for tron is doing that makes me feel it has a good future. For one, the team behind tron seems to know what they're doing and partnering here and there will reap it's benefits in the future.
2980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No Bull Run in 2018? on: July 10, 2018, 05:29:56 PM
Personally, I believe there will certainly still be a bull run before the end of this year although everything looks impossible for now but I think we should be patient and relax and follow the trend of market.

I hope you're right, this bear market is really painful  Undecided

Many people already sold, how many still holding bags Idk. Some volume would help for sure.

Impossible to reach bottom if there is n pain.  That should happen soon, but we will not see any bull run in 2018. Summer, Autumn and Winter will be pretty depressing.  But those that will not sold will be greatly rewarded soon after.

Well i agree with those who believe that a bullrun by the year's end is likely. We've been too long in this bear market and i think there'll be a time when things will balance itself up. Just don't expect a 20k bull run this time
