2961  Economy / Speculation / Re: New all time high record | $66,000 on: October 20, 2021, 04:08:25 PM
A new all-time high record has been hit, with Bitcoin surpassing $66.000. An outstanding performance which was a result of the announcement of Bitcoin ETF approval, which I've yet to understand what exactly it is.

Definition according to https://mg.co.za/

"An Exchange Traded Fund or ETF is a type of investment fund that tracks the price of another asset or basket of assets and can be traded on an exchange. If that still sounds like finance nerd language to you, thats because it is."

https://mg.co.za/special-reports/2021-10-19-a-bitcoin-etf-what-does-it-all-mean/

Anyway, it was something quite unexpected and didn't actually believe that we'll see a new record by at least December. Let time do the work.

I am very happy this time because just a few months ago bitcoin was at $30k and it has recovered fully and now breaking the ATH.
This is more than 100% gains in just a 3 months. I am really happy because bitcoin has recovered from the correction very quickly this time.
Currently its at $67k and I don't think it will settle here. In the next few days we might see it crossing $70k as well.
The target of $100k by December also seems achievable to me.

I just placed my bet on the "$65,001 - $70,000" range, because firstly there are great odds on freebitco.in for this range:

and secondly because, like you, I think Bitcoin will end up around $70k this month, only I think it will be a little bit below that point.

That's a really good range to put your bet on. I am still waiting for last minute fluctuations though.
There are still 3 days left and the current market is really unpredictable. Bitcoin has crossed All Time High.
Ethereum is about to cross is ATH. Both the prediction betting will be really thrilling this time.
I will probably place my bets on the  last day  Tongue

Imagine getting scolded for giving out TRTL

@pawanjain, if I ever get them from the spin. JBs have been haunting me since the very beginning :p

Grin Grin Imagine people saying 'I could give you more than that' for giving TRTL

One day there will be a BC store and we will be able to use JB coins!? I am not sure where did I read about this, that was a long time ago... maybe I just misunderstood something, I am not sure really! What I wanted to say JB is completely useless at the moment, but maybe that can change in the future...

And yes, we can wager with any coin/token that has some value!

That shouldn't happen because I have wasted literally thousands or millions of JB coins just like that  Grin
I don't want any regrets for wasting so many coins.

$70k by the end of the month is considerably a good target as the trend line hits exactly at $70k by the end of the month.
But the odds of 10x will get reduced very much since we still have 6 days left.
If BTC goes upwards in next 2-4 days then a better range to put our bets on would be $70k - $80k range which has 30x odds right now.
As you say only 6 days left before the closing of the bet, and twelve days before the end of the month and its settlement. Then I don't see how $80k could be reached in such little time. It would represent an increase of +33%. So why not betting directly on 100k$ if you think a such big pump can occur in such a short time then?

$100k is a little overwhelming to be honest. By placing the bet in $70k - $80k range I was more like getting the price hit at $71k -$72k which is still achievable.
Bitcoin is already at $63k which is why I think $70k - $80k could have been one of the range I would bet on.
I will wait for a few more days though.
2965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot V.S. Long 1x Leverage in Futures Market on: October 18, 2021, 09:24:06 AM
One can say that basically there's not much difference if you are spot trading or doing 1x leverage in futures but they do have little differences.
The trading fees are lower on futures. For example binance has a trading fees of 0.01% for futures and 0.1% for spot trading which is 10x times higher than futures.
Also, in futures we get the option to short the trade which allows us to make money while in a down trend.
Both have their own markets so we can spot some minor price differences in future and spot markets.
2966  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Site for Gambling? on: October 18, 2021, 09:07:10 AM
Hello to all.
are there any gamblers who play high limits and always manage to withdraw their winnings from betting crypto sites?
because even reading the A tier I find that often the winnings are not paid and money get blocked and I don't know which one to trust.
Thank you for any advice

Ofcourse there are some gambling sites which are genuine and does not block the withdrawals without any reasons.
Gambling sites such as freebitco.in, Duelbits, Roobet, BC.GAME etc... are some sites which I have gambeld on without any issues.
You could try them out as well. But only gamble with amount that you can afford to lose.
2967  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: October 18, 2021, 08:05:59 AM
I'd rather hold trivias than just giving them out blindly. Need them to "work" for some rewards Grin

That's completely your choice though. All it takes is one spin to get a few hundred TRTLs (although that's not available now)

Lol poor guys in the chat when you give them out. First they need to solve questions and in the end the reward will be useless  Tongue.
Another thing is just use them and try to level up; that's maybe the best option for the moment.

Do we really level up by using TRTL for the betting amounts ? I thought they are just useless and doesn't help leveling up.
2968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Cryptocurrency for 1 Week! on: October 17, 2021, 02:20:02 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmxGGxAvqus

I trade crypto for 1 week - in order to show you all that anyone can do it, and so you can see how well I do in the course of 1 week.

Everybody thinks he is a good trader when the market is in an uptrend. Real traders are those who make profits in a down trend.
Forget the profits, even if you can sustain your portfolio and not go into losses then you can consider yourself as a good trader.
So keep trading and share your experience after a year. Try to learn more from your mistakes you do in the corrections and down trends.
2969  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LONG TERM INVESTMENT REMAINS THE BEST on: October 17, 2021, 02:16:41 PM
Dollar Cost averaging has always been the best for long term investing in bitcoin. If you are looking for holding long, make sure you have set up a period and follow that all time. For Bitcoin, it has barely been loss in case of a long term holding.
By the way, I guess you better know how much risky investing in altcoin; more riskier when it comes to long time investment.

Dollar Cost Average is 'The Best' strategy for a long term holder. For me especially, long term investment has made out really good profits.
But why do you say that long term investment in altcoin is more riskier ?
I have been holding an altcoin for a long term which did really well. It's just that we have to make sure we are investing in a good coin and not in a shitcoin.
We never know but sometimes an altcoin can give out more returns than bitcoin. At least that's what has happened to me.
2970  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I grow my Crypto Bag without trading on: October 17, 2021, 02:03:54 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm new to Bitcoin and crypto in general, though I'm learning and growing fast.

I hold some coins but I wonder if I am making profit that way. Trading really require more skills and knowledge of crypto and the trading platform, hence I don't want to rush in. So, are there ways to increase my bag without Trading?

There are a few ways to increase your crypto bag but all of them have their own clauses

Staking - It's quite safe to stake and grow your coins but slashing would result in loss of stake
Investing - You can invest as much as you can in regular intervals but again you need to have that kind of money to invest in at the first place
Crypto jobs - You can do jobs and get paid in crypto but then you will need to have those skills to get that kind of job
Lending - It can get you more returns but the risk is all yours since people may run away with the coins.

My best choice here is staking but you have to choose a potential coin which does not depreciate in price over long term.
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play online or physical casinos on: October 17, 2021, 01:49:38 PM
The first question bordering my mind right now is where to play, I have learned quite a few things from this gambling board and have decided to try my luck out with gambling and will want to know which one should I start with online gambling or going to physical casino house to play some games.

If you relevantly new to gambling and want to try out your skills then the best thing to do would be try out online gambling for now.
Due to covid restrictions it would be harder for you to find out a casino to gamble. Even if you find one the charges to get started with in a casino will be higher.
On the other hand online gambling will give you ease of convenience to get started with.
You can start with a lower amount comparatively and you will a lot of options to choose from.
So online gambling is the best choice here.
2972  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 17, 2021, 01:44:09 PM
Great! Thanks for the reply. For some reason, software wallets escaped my mind and I was only thinking of hardware wallets.

Yes, that's the route that I will go, I'll just set up a quick and simple software wallet on my machine and I'll also save a few bucks by not having to buy a hardware wallet.

Hardware wallet is obviously a better choice since it will give you the best security when compared to others.
But if you still want to use a desktop/mobile wallet then make sure you research well about the wallet you are going to opt for.
Download it from genuine source only and watch tutorials on how to use it properly before using the wallet.

If we stay on course to complete the month trending up rapidly as we have done then I'd say 70k for end of month pricing.   Thats still only 10x odds, I'm not sure if I'd rather speculate we break the positive trend and go somewhere unexpected.   There is no excuse for that view, we haven't failed the pattern but a cynical take would be to say that when the BTC ETF is released as available it mean we ironically reverse course downwards; profit taking basically.   Pretty normal behavior but theres been no indication that will happen so its a guess at this point.

May as well have fun and get some value with those TRTL whilst they are still worth something, TRTL V2 is on the way at some point and anything less than 1 million TRTL will be worthless.

https://www.reddit.com//r/TRTL/comments/ma7r20/turtlecoin_v2_wtf/

Lol  Grin I consider TRTL to be worthless even now. I wonder how much it will dump if v2 rolls out.

Anything less than 1 million is worthless?

Cries in thousands

Send those thousands to some random people in the chat and they will make you feel it were not so worthless after all.
I did the same and a few people thanked me a lot for the free coins  Grin I felt happy with that feeling. May be TRTL is made to give us that happy feeling.
2974  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn to trading - any suggestion? on: October 16, 2021, 03:54:01 PM
I am not a professional trader or experienced trader but at least I understand the risks and also all the consequences in trading "even though today is the first time trading". I plan to fight myself against curiosity. no harm in trying right? if I just stand by without Doing It then I will never know what experience is. first capital $100 and also ''ready to lose money''
I only use CMC + CoinGecko as the first material to analyze coins and also PooCoin.
any suggestion? some kind of tool/indicator for trading?

If you are just using CMC or Coingecko then you won't learn anything from trading.
You have to learn how to do technical analysis by using indicators and practice to create strategies to get the entry and exit points.
Once you start hitting the targets you will start learning. Do not be afraid of mistakes and losses because that's what will make you learn new things.
There are a lot of tutorials and guides on Youtube and Google. Get your hands on a few of them and start learning as much as you can.
2975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you quit Bitcoin if a shitcoin like Ethereum surpassed it? on: October 16, 2021, 02:34:05 PM
There is a lot of shilling lately (again) with "the flippening" event happening. Ethereum has created a new market which is basically 99% scam tokens, rugpulls, pump and dumps and NFTs which are probably used for money laundering. Anyway, the thing is, there is definitely if a demand for all of that, even if it's all based on a platform that's not decentralized.

So to the point: Would you quit if a centralized shitcoin managed to surpass Bitcoin in marketcap? At that point it would be clear that entire space is a joke. Bitcoin would still march on as usual, but it would be just sad to see people putting their money on shitcoins rather than on the only actually decentralized blockchain worth anything.

Looks like there's a lot of hatred in you for Ethereum. I have personally invested in BTC as well as ETH because I think both are good coins.
It really doesn't matter for me if ETH surpasses BTC. I will still be holding both the coins no matter what happens.
I think both of these coins have a good potential in the long term. But yeah bitcoin will always have an edge than the other coins.
2976  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: October 16, 2021, 02:12:56 PM

So considering the above reply I think TRTL was better that we could at least get to gamble more times with it rather than the Shib we get from the free spin.

They have read the forum and now the minimun reward of SHIB on the wheel is 100, so we can always gamble with it  Wink. BC.game also just launched a new in-house game: Mines with a house edge of 1%. It is similar to other sites but I kinda like the game so it is a good addition to the site.

Just noticed this after reading your post. I guess they did read our comments  Grin Lol
Good to have 100 Shib in the spin now. I saw the mines game, it reminds me of my school days.
Back then this was the only game we used to play in our computer lab in school. Brings back old memories.
I just played this and won 2.2x in the first game.
2977  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 16, 2021, 01:46:52 PM
These new RP bonuses look really profitable. I decided to try it and bought a bonus 2 WOF SPINS / ROLL for 1188 RP. It's funny because I was lucky enough to win 3300 RP from the wheel of fortune after the first roll. I wonder how much I can get while the bonus is in effect. However, it's worth noting that I'm unlikely to be able to claim roll more than 10 times per day.

Wow, you indeed are lucky today. You already made 2x the RP you invested in the WoF spin.
Even if you claim 10 times that will give you 20 WoF spins which still gets you a lot more opportunities to make big money.
I think even I am going to try this option now  Tongue

One question though, how long does these WoF spins stay in our account ? Is there any expiry for them ?
2978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: October 16, 2021, 01:29:07 PM
The thing is.... any Lottery has to have some verification system to determine and prove that the winners are drawn from a legitimate algorithm and not hand picked by the people hosting these Lotteries.

I have yet to see one Lottery system that has a "fool proof" system that verify the actual winners, apart from the one that are hosted by Freebitco.in

Most of these systems are used for cheap advertisements and people fall for this crap.  Roll Eyes

That is true. Many of the gambling websites hosting the lottery rounds are fake and probably choose a winner without and provably fair algorithm.
Just when you said you haven't seen any fool proof system I was going to say about freebitco.in when I read you already mentioned it.
freebitco.in is indeed one of the best gambling sites with the best lottery system and betting prediction models.
2979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: October 15, 2021, 04:57:30 PM
Today 15 October, Bitcoin crossed 59000 usdt and we are waiting for Next Bull market, and all Buyer already fill his bag with Altcoin. I want to know that share your best Altcoin that you hold for Next Bull market.

Whether or not the bull run is here but I have always been a long term holder. Currently my bag for long term is BTC, ETH and SOL.
These are the most potential coins in the current crypto markte according to me which can survive very well in the long run.
For trading though, I am looking into SRM and FTM. These coins have already given me decent profits in trading.
2980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a right time to buy some ethereum?. on: October 15, 2021, 04:55:09 PM
Ethereum looks very Bullish now and likely to hit 4K in few days if Bitcoin remains Bullish. Once Ethereum's major upgrade occurs sometime in late 2021 or early 2022, one simulation estimates that the circulating supply of Ethereum could shrink by around 1.4% each year at current rates of fee burning. Is this the right time to collect eth and wait till upgrade happen?.

Ethereum is definitely a very potential coin to invest into and if you have some decent amount of money then ETH should definitely be in your prtfolio.
Apart from the developments taking place there's also a good hype around ETH these days.
ETH is already very close now to break $4k level and my technical analysis says that it might cross $5000 by the end of the year.
