Sp please in the future make the default intensity settings lower ... I have to do all my bat files over ... that is also why my other rig is crashing. And to put that extra work in is a pain for me will take all day... I'm disabled.. type with a mouse onscreen keyboard. sp5 The 4 core computers don't need anything done but the 2 core has to have it done. 970 rig just crashed adjusting intensity ... now does not validate on cpu crash reinstalling different drivers. Trying to keep out with all the crashing while changing intensity and miner control is stealing part of my hash on my small rig and............... I'm thinking of starting over on the 970 980ti rig and leave it in the p2 state.. to much work to reset clocks that should be in the p0 state to begin with .. nvidia...... leave them to P2: they will draw less power and be more adaptive to temperature fluctuations.

look great , kinda sad that my address only has 12 hodl there keeps of address with 10,000+ maybe you are mining with default settings which create a new address for every mined block.

HODL your nuts.
|
|
|
4000% yearly rate will make the price drop day by day.
Hence why everybody should HODL :-D

The general "trend" in crypto coin mining is big swings up and down. It has always been like this and probably always will. Some months ago it was a lot lower than it is now, and some weeks ago it was way higher. It will go down and then it will go up again :-) The reasons are new coin launches, price of BTC going up or down, people mining only when it's cold (so they save on heating), etc.

tanx mate ... i just anted to test - and see what the best intensity settigns are for each of the algos ... scrypt is always the difficult one - as there are no 'standard' settings for ccminer on scrypt ... and i have no idea how to set the optimum paramters for scrypt also - as it has certain paramters that are not doculented ( like lauch settings for example ) ... either way - x17 seems to work - as does lyra2v2 and scrypt ... but i have had no success with ANY accepted shares as yet with any of the algos ... but then - im not mining for a long time on each anyway ... blake is blake2s - which is different to the standard blake implementation - and groestl is myr-groestl - again a different to the standard implementation of groestl ... hence the reason why i needed specifics on the port and algos ... i must say though - even with the limited testing and time i have - its runnign really well ... #crysx even if you mine a block with x17, the network will refuse it, so don't bother; same for blake2s. myr-groestl is much more used than double-groestl, and is in most multi-algo coins like myriad, saffron and joincoin. the port is the same for all the algos, just set the one you like in the conf file. tanx ... did you commit any changes ( or updates ) to the spmod ccminer for groestl and lyra2v2 pallas? ... #crysx No, I did not touch those two on nvidia. But I have a much faster myr-groestl for AMD.

Is it possible the run the wallet without mining and without using 1gb of memory ? (Still while HODLing interests )
THX !
you don't even need to run the wallet to get interests ;-)

Hi,
Sorry, I cant find on the GIT how to create an issue, so :
Can you add a parameter "--pid-file <filename>" to create/put PID of the current running ccminer ? That will help A LOT when doing algo switching and I need to kill the process (or make an API command to shutdown the miner).
Thanks.
meanwhile, you can kill the process with killall or "ps|grep" to get the PID. If you think with only one miner running, yes. But it's not always the case. I will try to do the patch myself, the hardest thing is adding the option in the parser there are a number of tricks to overcome the multiple miner issue you mentioned. for example, by using a symbolic link, you can run two miners using the same binary but two different process names. or, you can grep a part of the command line, to get the correct one.

I made a faster Groestl kernel, for Hawaii and Fiji AMD cards, which is for sale. PM for details.

the new wallet will be released soon, not the 350k block though. hopefully ill have it out within a couple of days. Awesome! looking forward to trying x17 mining. Have a great weekend Dev! How is it going with the new wallet? My fix is still pending, I believe they want to delay the hardfork. Don't know the reason, though. look like he trying to test new wallet or new hardfork ...? https://github.com/vergecurrency?tab=activityI think those are tests about "stealthtx"

Thanks Sp_ for the git updates! Cool you are still opensourcing some juice ;-)

Can you add Verge to yiimp please. X17 and blake2s
i tried but still seems to be broken, and with a wrong diff edit: yep i confirm, broken in both getwork and template modes, and didnt find a workaround I posted a fix on their github a week ago but they still didn't merge it. Maybe cause it's a hardfork: the current network detects x17 and blake2s blocks as scrypt :-D

looks like there is a friend of Kundro around.
Please explain this ? Nevermind, just joking.

maybe he, for some reason, wants to know of a coin which can be easily solo-mined with such a low hashrate.
