It may be a good idea to put the miners on the frontpage of the thread so newcomers don't have to ask or read through the whole thread.

So the current bonus interest rate on deposits is 1410% right?

Just to be sure that http://hodlcoin.github.io/ is reporting correctly

That's the rate for a 1-year term deposit - the shorter the term == the lower the interest.

The interest earned chart is here

Yep.. Or just leave it in your wallet..  You get standard interest every block for every coin you have ...  Here is a video guide I made to help you with making deposits http://youtu.be/_7CUiORCZGY

You have to take in the multiplier as well ..  The rate on one year (Time of post) is ~ 2799%

Man we have some nice  consistent HOdling going on.. Oh one of the charts on the new BE will show avg. coins being HOdled per block..

So at block height 41397, the avg. HODL deposited was 213.18382103 per block.. So with 50 HODL mined each block.. 163 HODL more is being locked up then mined.. now this doesn't count the amount of interest being earned.. but its just fun looking at these numbers.. I think you will all like this new BE..

Yes, you only have to mine if you want to, you will still earn interest (even if your wallet is closed)

Yep your more then welcome to open and close the wallet.. Switch mining on and off... All as you please.. Your wallet behavior has no bearing on your interest both standard and term deposit interest is handled on the blockchain.. The wallet is simply a tool used to access the blockchain..
