Because i'm sure maybe someone must have told you that "merit" is given base on the number of post you create. That is a big lie. Merit is only given when you are able to either teach people about a new thing or add value to the forum.

He didn't even asking anything about merit or posting high quality post, since he's high likely only want to create a thread in Goods section since he want to sell his physical product. He doesn't need any merit for do that, even he's can't attach an images, but he still can buy a copper membership. Merit is useless in this case, feedback is the most important here. I also did not immediately understand the connection between merits, which is mentioned in the post above. This happened to me also. I came to the forum in March by accident, and also accidentally found out about the bounty. But my patience was enough for five months.
