It has been on the news that Real Madrid have no interest in signing Ronaldo. It is not a surprising situation actually because they didn't have any plans for bringing back Ronaldo in the near future. They already have Benzema and his performance was incredible last season. In these circumstances it isn't sensible for them to sign Ronaldo also. Let's say they did such thing then Benzema would stay behind him again like in the old times. This would decrease his productivity much more compared to before.
Why would Real Madrid consider signing Ronaldo again, He's chapter with the Los Blancos is an already closed one, I think the media is making more of Ronaldo's desperation to seek champions league football than it really is, I understand Ronaldo's zeal to always play at the biggest level possible and wouldn't want to settle for less but I prefer he stays with Man Utd and conditions himself perfectly for the World Cup which likely is going to be his last dance at the tournament. |

I just read one article that says something on the line that Haaland choose City over Real because Pep promissed him he will never be forced to play when not 100 % ready after injury while he would need to prove himself immediately in Real. He is a player that had a lot of injuries last season and there could be truth in that.
If that is so than I expect Haaland to have his minutes managed a lot and maybe have smaller impact then we thought at first. Almost like he is squad rotation player and not indispensable to the club. Totally opposite of what most players look for when changing the club.
I haven't seen that article or any talk around it, but I did say a few pages back that I expect Haaland to have the impact that Aguero did. Brilliant when he plays, but ultimately out injured a lot of the season. A bit like Sturridge for anyone that's watched his career. Probably one of the most gifted players in the league at his heights, but not only did he have injury problems, he was also accused of not pushing through them. I think Gerrard in his book alluded to that. It's funny an article like that comes up though, as that was my exact thoughts. I've watched a bit of Haaland play, and he is very injury prone, and doesn't seem to like super aggressive players. Well, in the Premier League with the physicality, but also the schedule he's going to find it very difficult. I actually think City are weaker now, than they were last season. Call me crazy if you want  . If there's any thing I've learnt from Guardiola teams, it's their ability to always do well even when their supposedly best players isn't available, Guardiola tends to divided the responsibility somewhat evenly between his players so it's hard to get in horrendous form simply because a player sometimes or two isn't playing, there was a time when Yaya Toure seemed to be his best player, then there was talk that the team wouldn't be as good without David Silva, or Fernandinho, but both players also became surplus to requirement without City losing much of its supposed competitiveness in the league, two-three seasons ago all eyes were on Raheem Sterling and, fast forward to last season he was on the bench even in very important games, later on De Bruyne have also become a vital part of the squad, but without him the team still thrives, now Foden seemed to have it all together, so my point is Haaland wouldn't have much problem finding his feet in Guardiola's team it is all just going to be a matter of how he choose best he fits into his plan, and with Guardiola way of rotating his squad, Haaland shouldn't too many injury troubles. |

Why would Harry Kane leave Tottenham Hotspur F.C? The club has been very successful in the transfer window this year signing more than four players. They would be playing in the UEFA Champions league next season. He is enjoying a demi-godlike respect and prestige in the team. In fact Harry Kane is the most respected and loved player in Tottenham. The team also have one of the best coaches in the world. Except for personal reasons why would Kane leave Tottenham for Bayern Munich. Kane is not for sale because he is priceless.
To win trophies. Yeah Spurs have made a couple of encouraging singnings ahead of next season, but if we are to be honest with ourselves they stand no chance of winning any major trophy next season, Bayern on the other hand are serious contenders for all trophies they will be comepting for, the German League is theirs to lose already, even before the league begins, thus Kane would be happy to move to a team that he is guaranteed to win trophies in, he hasn't managed to win any in his career thus far. Having said that, Kane is respected in Spurs, but that matters less for a professional, mind you that Lewandowski has moved on, to Barcelona, so Kane will still get the love and respect he deserves should he move to Bayern, he will be their main marksman and will get so much playing time. Bayern are on a different level to Spurs, it will be a dream for Kane to move to a great club like Bayern. Harry Kane have just two years left on his current contract with Tottenham and both parties haven't entered talks for a potential renewal so there is every possibility of him leaving next season if there's no renewal in place or Tottenham would lose him for free, and given that he was trying to initiate a transfer last summer. There are more than just one potential destination, He could head for Real Madrid as a replacement for Benzema after the deal for Mbappe fell through, or as speculated he could he for Bayern Munich, but I find Real Madrid as the more likely destination imo. |

Going by how their last few preseason games have gone, I'm sure Man United fans would definitely disagree with you, Ten Hag is getting them super hyped up, they're currently 3 wins from 3 preseasons games including one against Liverpool, at least I streamed the highlights of their last one against Crystal Palace and it was quite some interesting stuff from them. Firstly the tweet I'll be quoting at the end of this post was sent to me by a friend and I was somewhat surprised at the new trick being used by the hackers and I think it likely would have worked on someone looking for a better pay/upgrade from their current work, and could end up getting into trouble if they become the weak link for a company to fall prey to hackers, and also I believe the tricks and attempts could get more sophisticated in coming years, as I've not read of something like this prior, so I sent the link to my friends in the web and software developing fields, and I said to them that one just can't be careful enough these days. I literally wouldn't have bothered to bring it here but I saw a response on a thread about an FBI warning on crypto scams as quoted below So the FBI is warning people concerning cryptocurrency scams. They're only like, what? 5 years late? Thanks Mr. policeman, very cool.
And I felt can there even be enough warnings placed out there that would stop some anyone from eventually falling victim ?, but at the same time If every warning post/news could save at least one person from falling victim, it definitely has served a/it purpose right ? Hence the twitter thread as quoted below; the most interesting thing I saw last week was how a group of people that wanted to hack a crypto company put out a job ad, and targeted developers from that company. The developers applied and they took them through a rigorous interview process to make everything look genuine
After the interview, they sent them an offer (with a link) and some of the developers opened it on their work computer and that was how they got access to their system and started the whole hacking process from there.

That's a milestone you reached, I've not seen anything within close distance before, the maximum multiplier I've ever chased intentionally was 5001x on a Crash game on Roobet
Chase a huge multiplier on Crash could be a long waiting, each roll takes like 25 seconds or more. So, if you want to make 1000 bets it would be like a 250 min. or close to 5 hours wait. That would be tedious. Yeah, It was actaually was tedious and time consuming, so I was using the auto mode as well, I'll just have PC plugged in and leave it running but then occasionally if there a slight fluctuation in network stability it would just stop, because when chasing such multiplier on crash it's tougher to keep looking because of the temptation to cashout that sets in when you keep watching the screen and you've gotten to over 1k-1.5k threshold or more. |

I have no idea why so many gamblers feel they achieved something big by hitting huge multipliers even though they won small amounts. Makes sense in gaming(Achievement hunting), but doesn't really make a lot of sense in gambling.

had a pretty good run during IEM Cologne. Good start to Faze vs Navi as a neutral supporter. A close game in the first map itself while it being a Best of 5. We could be in for a long night, if Faze plays CT side well on Inferno. Which would get them to win map 1. Navi have some really good t strats for inferno though + the firepower. Should be fun.
Final has delivered some great CS so far and I am thinking this could go all the way. We already sow some great individual play as well and I expect some more heroics especially from s1mple as the stakes rise. Currently it is 1:1 in maps with both teams taking their map picks. My bet is for NaVi ML so I hope the time has come for them to shift into higher gear and resolve this without too much drama. We asked for a thrilling final, and that's what we've gotten so far here.. NaVi are now in the lead but it's been a really topnotch performance from FaZe they definitely are not backing out from the fight. Let's see if they can force the 5th map. |
