it seems that Frenkie de Jong is no longer comfortable with Barcelona and wants to move to another club, but with the price which is still very expensive, I think it is difficult for him to get another club, especially since Barcelona is in a financial crisis of course they only want to release the player if there is an offer which is expensive from other clubs.

It is not a surprising situation actually because they didn't have any plans for bringing back Ronaldo in the near future. They already have Benzema and his performance was incredible last season. In these circumstances it isn't sensible for them to sign Ronaldo also. Let's say they did such thing then Benzema would stay behind him again like in the old times. This would decrease his productivity much more compared to before.

Why would Real Madrid consider signing Ronaldo again, He's chapter with the Los Blancos is an already closed one,  I think the media is making more of Ronaldo's desperation to seek champions league football than it really is, I understand Ronaldo's zeal to always play at the biggest level possible and wouldn't want to settle for less but I prefer he stays with Man Utd and conditions himself perfectly for the World Cup which likely is going to be his last dance at the tournament.

Regarding the new poll questioning will Ten Hag bring the glory days back to Man Utd, I voted no. My reason for that is because whilst Guardiola & Klopp are still managing in England no other team is going to be winning the title. Those two managers are levels above everybody else & until they leave their monopoly of being 1st & 2nd is not going to get broken up imo.

I relatively agree with you, indeed Ten Hag has a big role in bringing ajax success so far,but so far we haven't seen his experience when coaching big teams, competition between managers will certainly occur next season in the English league, klopp, guardiola and tuchel of course coach candidates which is still better than Ten Hag in my opinion, besides the depth of the manchester united squad is also a reason for me to doubt that Ten Hag is able to bring manchester united to be better next season.

Not only you, but many people who doubt the depth of the Manchester United squad to be able to win the Premier League trophy. Behind those doubts, I feel that Erik ten Hag is able to make Manchester United like one of the squads in the animated film, Captain Tzubasa. 

I believe Manchester United is going through a big change. And that can be very positive for the team and also bring positive results as well. But I am not sure that Manchester United will be able to perform better than teams like Manchester City and Liverpool. These two teams are at the top of the food chain right now.

If Manchester United can prove that they are a superior team by beating at least one of them and ending at least at the second position in the English Premier League this season, only then I am willing to believe that Manchester United has actually improved. Well if Real Madrid has no interest to sign Ronaldo now then this basically means that they will never bring him back to Real, at least not as a player. Any team that want to have Cristiano Ronaldo as their player at least once probably wants to sign him now because in the end Ronaldo is already 37 years old and even though he is still in good shape and he is probably one of the most professional football players out their in terms of the right nutrition, recovery and training time also has an effect on Ronaldo and he will become less and less interesting to the big clubs the older he gets. I would guess that he still wants to earn a lot of money too which makes things even more complicated.

Jesse Lingard is a very fine player, I didn't like how he ended his spell at Manchester United but it is not too late to make a turn around in his career, hopefully his time at Nottingham Forest will be the turning point. I am expecting to see him repeat the kind of form he had at West ham United next season. It's good to have good talents in the league that is why the English Premier league is second to none.

Really good signing for Nottingem Forest. Jesse Lingard exploded like this when he was on loan in West Ham. So here he will be the main player and will actully play full minutes. But still thats a big salary for such a player. Hopefully they sign a few more players so that they not get relegated

Without Harry Kane, Tottenham will lose much of its attacking power, and hard to compete with big teams in EPL. Antonio Conte won't allow this to happen, he must already ensure Harry Kane stays. Surely West Ham United were much better option for Lingard because they are at good position in league and have better future instead of Nottingham Forest which are newly promoted and have no enough chance for survival with quality gape is widening between championship teams and Premier League quality if any team wants to stay in Premier League they have to spend some good amount for quality players and want good results which keep them alive here.

Still, a good deal for Lingard as now this season he can do much better with good chances in first eleven of the team if he is able to perform better than surely he can go to better club after one season otherwise Championship clubs can do good for him as well.

Every time the word "strengthening" is heard, but in the end what comes out? MU find themselves in fifth, sixth position in the standings and the reinforcements don't work, or the team just doesn't want to play. When Ronaldo came in, everyone thought that Manchester United would now be at least in the top 4, top 3, the result we see is that Ronaldo played well, but the result is not better.
