like i said before to soopy he needed to make at least 50-60 addresses in his old wallet to keep going in and out of stake
to keep the chain moving. Thats the only way. On the other hand i cant grasp why soopy keeps going offline for so long in such times... Why not hand over the swap thingy to chrysophylax for isntance
Been having power issues mate , everything is being fixed and about 50-60 addresses , the wallet was already staking and its not enough, the wallet only contains upto 500,000+ DRZ-OLD upto now , calculate that and you have an answer , Chrysx has already offered to run the staking on his seednodes. I will be working on something to send him the coins for staking , I was unable to due to the fact that all the coins are stuck on staking. I suggest other members to open up their wallets and stake for a while till the network moves. Swap thingy is controlled by scripts and need to be constantly monitored , I did not want him to endure such a task despite knowing that he is going through a busy time period himself.
Anyhow everything will be sorted within the day and swaps will move as planned.

If you made 50 addresses with 1000 drz each it would stake like crazy. And i realy like your work on the coins so far.. But its not a crime to look in to advice people give to you... We should be grateful that we have a DEV that is trying to help us. We need to be more polite, because this is a learning curve for all of us. |

I did not blame anybody and especially not Soopy. I already knew him from Navajo project and i know he do a really great job for the global crypto community. Sorry if you taken my message like this, i told just about facts, no blame  Like i said, i don't really know the consequence if i follow last Soopy's advice for my coins and deadline, and it's the goal of my previous post. Effectively, i've never do a swap of a staked coin before. Anyway, i have followed Soopy's advice and have put my wallet into staking mode. We really need that network move more. OK, The message was not meant for you, but for everybody. What I meant was that nobody should blame soopy, because this is a technical issue - there is a lot to learn from this experience that could help us in the future, especially when doing a coin-swap on a POS staking coin. |

Hmmm guys, this swapping is so long and fastidious...
So, i have 213K DRZv2 and all is on staking (just 39.9599 not staking).
But if i put my wallet into staking mode, i will never recover my coins? Yes, i will help other people to unlock these coins but what will happen to mine?
What will happen if my coins will still staking on deadline?
There are too many contradictious advices guys, now i don't know what to do for have my coins swapped whereas i listened and followed your advices since 1 week.
I feel that we cannot blame these problems on anybody, this is just a learning curve within the crypto environment. Perhaps we will have facts to create a whitepaper (LAUGHS  ) on how to properly do a coin swap of a staking coin. Please do not blame soopy, this is a technical issue that we did not foresee, its a learning curve for all of us. |

okay, i'm ready to send wallet.dat to Soopy, if it is the best way to decide this problem.
soopy does not need your wallet.dat - soopy only needs to stake his own DRZ-OLD wallet I suggest that anybody with any DRZ-OLD should lend them to crysx, so that he can use them to support the network. |

Deposits and withdrawals from exchanges (YOBIT, CCEX) has been frozen, because Droidz is still under maintenance. The exchanges want soopy to finish the swap, before they allow deposits/withdrawals to continue. |

Are you still able to sync and stake your wallet? Had not opened it in quite a while since I was waiting for the fixed wallet and/or beecoin updates, but I just opened it now and will leave it to do whatever it can. A minute in and no connections currently. At times I've had to let older wallets sit for 10-30min to get proper connections, so I'll report back if it starts syncing and gets back up to speed. **EDIT** Took a while to sync up, but it's connected and staking as well(Less than 1 beecoin each reward, but working none the less). Stake rewards for BEECOIN are small. |

I have just the drz-seed's address and my wallet is synced now. It will be fine normally with your conf file. Until now, mine also was out of sync for more than 24H, because no block was created during this lap time. Check https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drzold/ for know the last block age and if network move Please keep staking your wallet, so that people can swap their coins. |

when soopy transfers 70kdrz2 to each of the nodes - three nodes in total so 210kdrz2 in total - they are on 24 /7 and after the minimum stake time the blockchain will start moving along better ... This nodes must generate more than 110 blocks from the start to move the chain alone. Do you think they will be able to do it ? Otherwise all coins will be frozen in stake without confirmations. Things will be possible when soopy comes back. It is usual for soopy to be a bit absent over the weekend, so no worries. |

Wallet synced but still staking  I have done "staking=0" in conf file yesterday and "Reserved balance" under options setup with more than my balance this morning. Is there another thing to do? Or time will do the job? Thanks Try to lock your wallet, then close it. Leave your wallet closed, then open it an hour later. See if there are any improvements. |

I would like to note once again - 25K is too big amount IMHO, due to few reasons. I believe the old agreed number (10K) would be better for Droidz, especially in current situation. Would be nice to organize a poll on this. ******************************* Here are some details on why I tell so... I cannot be 100% sure 10K would be better amount, but I feel that way due to the following: - bigger amounts are good only for whales - so they can use their position to further increase their share and completely dominate. As far as I understand the MN has twice bigger effect on overall supply than the regular staking (10% for MN vs just 5% for stakers). So the ones who own masternodes, will have bigger advantege than stakers. Rich will become richer, poor will become poorer (due to his share decreasing). That's not healthy and will draw away smaller investors, who actually create community. - in current situation, when big amount of supply is in wrong hands (people who stole the coins), we have some "rich", who are not interested in project, just want to get as much money as they can in exchange of their loot. We need to minimize effect of those persons (by giving more chances to the smaller investors), so they have to spend a lot of resources (aka servers computational power) to run many masternodes, and finally could want to dump their stash instead. The sooner they dump it, the better is for honest community members. - masternodes should not be a privilege for the rich. They are fun to run, and this fun should help to attract more people, regardless of their share. We need to make DRZ a fair coin. With bigger MN amount I don't feel it is fair. And one more point: I know someone (for example crysx  ) could bring his own arguments, which may sound pretty good, and they might be better than mine. I really don't want to carry lengthy discussions over this, actually I don't want to argue at all, because (a) I don't see much value in arguments over a topic which is pretty much unknown to both parties, and (b) as I said I am not 100% sure in what I tell above. I just wanted my opinion to be heard, and I want the number to be chosen by community (via a poll, for example), rather just set by the devs, even if they do what they consider to be the best for the project. Isn't this a community project after all? I understand your argument, but people still have the chance to own a masternode, it will cost only 25k DRZ. crysx already mentioned that coins with masternodes that are too cheap will always get abused. We want our masternodes to cost money, so that it costs money to earn privileged stake amounts. The system will not be dominated by the rich. People who want to earn privileged stake need to pay for it. I hope that all the cheap Droidz get scooped up as soon as the swap process is complete. Remember that coins in Masternodes are locked away from the system and cannot be spent. A high masternode value will encourage whales to keep their coins in Masternodes. This will increase scarcity, which will increase price. Also, a high masternode value will discourage people from keeping all of their coins in Masternodes - we still need some coins in fluid state, that are readily traded. A high masternode value will reduce the effects of excess "run away" inflation. In the distant future, when DRZ has a coinage of 20m (this will take over 10 years compound interest), a masternode value of 25k DRZ will become more reasonable. However, if we have a very low masternode value now, the masternodes may become unmanageable in the future, when coinage has vastly increased. |
