ETC wanted to copy it's mother (or daughter) ETH by integrating EIPs in the blockchain of ETC but the couldn't get a consensus among it's developers.
EIP, originally conceived by Vitalik Buterin is an important security feature for smart contracts.
With this lack of consensus among the developers of ETC, where would ETC be heading? Are they just not trying to copy ETH and making themselves worse?
I know that there is going to be an hardfork in the blockchain since there is no consensus between the developers, though I see the reason why a lot of developers don't want to accept the idea of adding what ETH has already added to their blockchain, I don't really care about what's going on between them, once I just find out that there is going to be an hardfork in the blockchain, I will make purchase of a lot of etc so that I can be a partaker of the upcoming hard fork, it is an opportunity again for us to make free cash for ourselves. |

I don't really have a particular investment strategy I use in making my investment in the crypto sphere, all what I do before making purchase of a coin is to make a thorough research about the project to see if it is visible or not, I start by reading the project whitepaper, then I check the ANN thread to see the review that other users who knows well about the project have made and then I can now come to a conclusion as to whether it's a good buy or not. |

I see crypto is recovering - ICO, listings, the use of the blockchain at the level of big players and entire states. If you can't find much information about the project, then why do you have interest in it, I just believe that a project that can't give you full information about how it should operate is not worth investing in, so my advice to you is just to keep watching to see if the team is going to give more information than that they have already giving r not, also you can try to see if you will be able to trace the ANN thread of the project in this forum so that you can check what other users are saying about it, then I think you will be more convinced. |

Thats why I prefer to use altcoins, because fees in the current BTC network are extremely high and slow. I would rather use LTC or ETH to make my transaction within several minutes, rather than to pay 10 USD and to wait for 5 hours.
I have never paid that high and waited for that long for my transactions to be effected, it might just be that the time you were probably making that transaction was when there was congestion which usually leads to high fees and delay of transactions. Most times that I want to send my transactions over Bitcoin, I make sure that I confirm the status then to be sure we don’t have any form of congestion that could make my fee high or delayed, once I see that we have congestion, I also flip over to coin like LTC and ETH if I have no choice, but on a normal market condition, I would prefer BTC. |

Gambling shouldn't be seen as an investment, it is not investment, gaming is something totally different from investment. Difference between investment and gambling is that when it comes to investment you're putting your money and expecting a certain amount of profit in return. But in gambling you're not sure about any particular profit, you're just relying on luck and hoping that you're going to win something. So the both of them are not the same. I don't take gambling serious, most of the times that I visit casino sites is just to play their games for free and when I feel like I playing with money I can deposit a little money and play with it so it if I can win. |

If you want to get your business boomed and if you want to increase your sale or user base, you have to do things like advertisements and test drives like Elon Musk did in case of Tesla. So yeah, this is not a bad thing for a website to advertise. Even the companies with monopoly advertise to make sure the constant influx of costumers on the face of any disruption.
Elon Musk was not just promoting his company but also driving a lot of social media buzz around it. This paid media is what drove him to a lot of limelight. This although seems strange but still is a good way to advertise because twitter and facebook are full of fake accounts created only for these special purpose. They are paid promoters and spammers. Normal promos are good but I would not think about such unscrupulous methods of promotion. They are for those who are shady. However thats just my opinion. Blind followership is what is making social medias grow to this big size. Most gambling sites do take advantage of that too. Of course it is a way to attract customers. Users in the market are very rational and they get informed by so many ways with every other supplement or best alternative present in the market. So if a site for example is not good enough and is still advertising for the sake of attracting users, it will do so only in short run and in the long run, it would have to shut down for it would not be able to achieve even its break even. Actually Elon Musk has been using and enjoying economies of scale to make big money. The gambling sites could do that as well. I mean if they try to capture the market by providing great services using every way to advertise, the could grow it to the leading site in the market which could, In future, go in the horizontal integration with other companies and site and could even acquire them to maximize their profits. |

They list it right away, that is the advantage of an IEO, if you do an ICO then you are investing into a coin you have no idea if ever goes to any exchange at all but if you do invest into an IEO you know which exchange it will be listed right away.
Sometimes a coin that has an IEO will not be listed anywhere else ever, or maybe for months, first IEO's still has coins that hasn't been listed anywhere else but the reality is at the very least it is listed at one place. That is why people invest into IEO's a lot more, they get the coin, they wait until its listed and as soon as IEO ends and they can list their coins for sale they do it right away trying to make a profit. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't but in the end at least they have that possibility.
To be honest, I have seen many IEO achieving its hard cap within seconds and minutes and this is because people trust IEOs and they see margin of profit in the investment they make in IEO token sale. I am talking about IEO on the best exchanges and yeah one more thing, IEO makes you as an investor face the lowest risk and that is what an investor out there look for. |

The price has been around that $7000 level, but today I noticed that it is getting to $8000 and that means we are likely to hit the $8.4k level before this month ends. And our next target will be $9000 level. Though I almost felt discouraged at the rate at which it dropped earlier this week cause I thought it has started to fall again.
I have been seeing news that it is going to plummet, but I believe that is not going to happen any time soon, it will happen after we have hit another high price before it will start to plummet. I will always have that in mind, so I don't make the mistake of abandoning coins while price drops.
If it reaches 10 thousand, it will be the start of the best bull run, I think. People will also rush to buy more cryptocurrencies expecting their growth. It is possible if before Bitcoin will not fall up to 7 thousand again. Predicting the rising trend can be very instrumental in making an investment decision. If you think that here is going to be a rise in the market in days to come, you could speculate at the current low price and your coins would gain good value when it is time for the surge. Well I can't vouch for any ICOrating site we have in existence since they are all being updated by humans, and most humans love money, besides they created the site so that they could make some cash for themselves. What they do is that they message this project telling them to pay some amount of money so that they could list them in a rating site and the amount of money they pay will determine the rating they get, though I might be very wrong about this, but I believe that's the way it's been done. |

By knowing this you can only improve your decision zone because it helps you in which direction the market is running. When there occur sudden fall or sudden jump in price you should get that whales either sell their coins or buy more coins. It is only based on luck, it seems that this strategy only focused on small amount of profit. Actually this is very tiring. You can get easy profit when the market trend is positive but the amount of profit that can be earned is too small. The fee will decrease your profit, so you actually spend more energy and time if you use fast trading strategy. Yes, you are right to fast trading will not help us to make a decent profit because we need to invest hugely in order to sell them for the little profit. Even i tried much time to make profit by selling them very fastly but mostly it is giving very less profit compared to holding them for a certain period of time. Nothing is achievable with much ease and fast work, you need to work hard and smart for better results. It will be great if a trader is good at day trade by dealing with price movement and making profit but it happens mainly in the Bitcoin. Profitability is greater is Bitcoin’s price movement than those of others so why not we start with Bitcoin and start making profit. If Bitcoin is difficult then you may not be able to make big profits buy following the strategy of buying and selling fast can only works with big price gaps. |

Trading in crypto is too risky than other market like stocks and forex, trading in crypto requires more and more of time and research effort since we can trade anytime it is prone to high change in dump and pump. We might miss some chances if we don't look at the graph or visit our exchanges even in one day.
Not only stocks, everywhere it is impossible for us to predict them in the market. Some times it is impossible for us to sell them because the price of a coin may increase even higher value and sometimes we might miss the boat like what was happened in 2017. So it is always good to set your goals before purchasing and selling your coins. Depends on what you have and what you need to do with what you have. You should day trade if you have for example Eth and you are happy with the rise though there has been no pretty good rise in ETH lately. Any coin that can give you profit could be cashed if you need the money but if not, HODL till the market is fully bullish would be the best option for you because you would get high value addition. |
