2981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what are you investment strategy on: May 21, 2021, 11:24:40 PM
My investment strategy is quite easy to implement, just like current market conditions, what I do is buy it, not to sell the assets I have!
Yes, the longest investment takes several years to be able to take high profits, otherwise known as a long term trade, every trader has their own way,
you can do it from mid term trade or long term trade, investment period of half a year to several years
Depends into our own preference because not all could  really afford nor have the patience on doing so and much prefering on seeing profits in a short span of time just like me on where i dont like to hold for long but i do have funds which are allocated for long term hodls and there are coins which are intended to be traded up actively because i do like to see profits in a short span of time thats why i do actively trade.
When it comes to strategy then this do involves self discipline and choices towards your current positions and making out actions varying on the said point.
Not all people would be having the same mindset this is why we do see different outcomes.
2982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: May 21, 2021, 10:58:36 PM
snip
I didn't because I gamble moderately and I know what I do.

The fear is with those people that even if you tell them to gamble moderately and learn from others mistake, they won't follow. Until they experience the same mistake as them then that will make them worry a lot because they didn't take it seriously.

The reduction of gambling activity will help your friends, it won't come in an instant but at least they're trying.
Yes, you are right. Even if they make a mistake, they will still play gambling because they do not realize what they already did. But it is different if they are finally losing too big money and see what they already lost in gambling, they might think to stop gambling for a while. But still, it is not many of them can realize that instead of still playing gambling, they say that they enjoy playing gambling. The reduction will be necessary to do by a gambler because that is the thing that can help them to save money and prevent more losses.
Yes.

The start with losing big money, they'll finally come to realize that it's no longer normal and they're losing a lot of money on it. They will start to think of any way to reduce their losses or recover it.

That's the start of being a responsible gambler if they don't want to incur the same amount of losses that they've done.
They are the ones who do make out their own fate and if they do realize that they are losing up much then why would decide to play even more?

This is actually varying on someones awareness and discipline towards self and if they do tolerate their addiction and tend to chase up losses rather than on complete stopping then
that would really be a big problem later on. Be responsible specially when it comes to finances because once this problem is done then you would really be
having a hard time to recover up.
2983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This isn't the first time the dip has happened on: May 21, 2021, 10:00:03 PM
People arent still experienced to be still in shocked on these kind of times.  Grin For new people then its understandable for them to get shocked

but for older ones then its odd that they arent still get used to it.Instead of panicking then better see this as an opportunity or chance to buy low price coins
in the market and make profits when it starts to recover.
2984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ohio offering lottery prize worth one million for those that get the COVID shot on: May 21, 2021, 09:06:56 PM
What do you think of this? Do you agree with what the governor of Ohio is doing or are you against it?

Source: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-57096039
as a guy who wanted to get vaccinated so I can be more at ease, yeah I am fine with it. these incentives are just a bonus for me. also, I agree with what Darker45 said it would be better to lower the winning amount and to increase the number of people that can be picked as a winner. although, getting a chance of winning $1million has a better ring to it than winning a $100k. I wish my government would do the same.

Maybe it will happen, right now the incentive itself is to get the vaccine and be free of having to live your life afraid of the virus, but as things are going I am not going to get the vaccine in a very long time, which means that by that time I could get it there is going to be less enthusiasm coming from the population to get the vaccine which means that offers like this one could pop all over the world and you will get the best of both worlds, you will get the vaccine and maybe a small chance to make some significant amount of money.
When you do make yourself some vaccine just because you do hope for a million and just neglect out the risk on getting side effects then better you havent considered such step.
It isnt really an enough reason for me to get vaccinated because im still hesitant on what would be the possible risk that could rise up later on.Important thing here is that
you should strengthen your immune system and trying not to expose of yourself into the public so that you wont be risking out yourself to get infected.
Its a good initiative but i dont see for it to be that effective.
2985  Economy / Speculation / Re: MELTDOWN - if you don't sell now, YOU WILL LOSE MOST OF YOUR FUNDS!!! on: May 21, 2021, 08:59:10 PM
Here is a hot tip for you - sell now and buy back below $10,000. What do you guys think?

You can thank me later!!
Why would need to sell if you can buy on the said point you had said or much lower level? No need to cut loss if you could afford to wait a long time.

This is where you do realize that saving up some money or funds whenever these kind of buying opportunity because you would able to accumulate cheaper coins
since you do have funds already allocated for that.
2986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 21, 2021, 08:13:40 PM
Am certainly picking one or two points from here but afaik not everyone is reacting the same to the pandemic, others might see isolation to be the answer to keeping oneself safe from it but this would work in the short term but indeed our social skills could be dented, it's scary if you think about it, I hope these vaccines we getting better the situation.
You do still think about social skills? Do you really mind off that first than into your own health? It wont matter if it would be affected as long im healthy and safe then that what surely counts but well
not all people would really be having the same mentality when it comes to this which it isnt surprising that there are several reasoning which do really opposes to each other.
Vaccine is all we need or a total cure with this current virus we are facing on but for sure it would still take a lot of time and im not really that confident on taking some shot
for now.

Dont know about the issue of Zcash towards full anonymity though.
2988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: May 20, 2021, 11:59:18 PM
Online gambling is the first choice if the gamblers want to gamble since the physical casino is not available during the pandemic. Those who prefer physical casinos will continue to gamble once there is a casino open once the pandemic is not worst anymore. Even the fiat casinos also accept cryptocurrency too and just pop up to the forum then most of the people in this forum didn't heard of it yet.
The pandemic might have had some influence but I don't think it accounts for the rise. The increase in awareness about crypto and its uses in my opinion also played a role.

After all, there wouldn't be much point in over-saturating the market with so many casinos if there wasn't a need for it - that's assuming that these people do their market research before hand. Plus the fact that these days you can gamble for free for some nice rewards is quite appealing.

We dont need lots but there are several owners whom do really tend to make even more just because of this market is booming up in terms of gambling industry.
Its true that we do have lots currently and if something new pops out then they should consider on offering something unique and not just an another dice, slot games that
we do have currently which is already a saturated one.

Its true that this pandemic situation isnt only the factor that do affect such rise in recognition.
2989  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader took his own life after the recent huge dump on: May 20, 2021, 11:10:00 PM
People shouldnt really be ending up on a suicide if they do lost up money but honestly this is a hard thing to say when you are in the situation because imagining that your entire life
savings was on the line and suddenly get liquidated then you would really be going into that point. This is why its important that we shouldnt go all in with cryptocurrency investment.
Its way too risk and always invest on the amount that you can only afford to lose because in case you got liquidated then you wont really be hurt that much where it comes to a
point on where you do decide or end up having the thoughts on taking your own life which it isnt really worth at all.
2990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 20, 2021, 10:27:18 PM

1- Would you gamble at a crypto-casino knowing it would ask you for KYC documents before withdrawal?

No, they should ask out KYC before you do make out deposits not before on making a withdrawal and that would surely sucks!

2-  Do you feel safe giving out your KYC to online crypto-casinos?

No, Giving out documentations about your identity is never been giving out that feeling of safety.
2991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl is not the best option as it seems on: May 20, 2021, 10:15:35 PM
its hard to get big value in short for bitcoin, doesnt mean no people cant get it. but, people will choose to hold for long time then buy it at high price, because its too risk, specially for new comer. bad news if bitcoin get dump or the buyer can control himself. so, holding is good option to gain massive value.
You should change that kind of mindset on where you do anticipate or hope too much that you would be making out money without considering on the time you had entered on the market
not directly talking on bitcoin investment but also with altcoins as well and you should be aware on the risk in terms of volatility so that it wont frustrate you out when you do see for this
market to move on.HODL is for those people who intent to hold for long term and doesnt really mind on what would be the price. It might easy as it sounds
but holding does require strong self control and discipline on not to sell no matter what.
2992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 20, 2021, 09:14:36 PM
I saw that news when it came out and this basically means that we are going to get a third fight between Fury and Wilder, I will see it of course as I am a fan of boxing but there is not going to be any hype on my part as I do not think Wilder has the necessary skills to pull an upset against Fury, so once gain promoters found a way to kill excitement for the biggest fight of the year and we do not have any idea when the fight will happen.
We've seen this drama on how it did end up on Wilder and surprisingly they do able to find out some way to make this Trilogy to happen which is way too unexpected.
Im dying to see on how Fury would end up this drama and move on ahead and fight AJ. Im not that interested with Wilder anymore but it somehow needs
to be settled for good.
2993  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fucking rich whoever bought bitcoin around $30,000 -$31,000 on: May 20, 2021, 08:59:18 PM
Yes, if you are one of them, you should be richer now. Bitcoin went up to $40,000 now, when yesterday it was down to $30,000. You have made 30% profit just within 1 day whatever the amount you bought the dip/crash (whatever we called it) several hours ago.

Thats what you called "Buy low Sell high" and price didnt really dip down to 30k but rather 35k to be exact. For those who had able to risk out then theyre definitely making some profits.

A casual trading stuff eh but there are lots who had been freaking out when they do saw the price is going down. For those who had able to buy the bottom then that was an easy money.

For now, lets see on how prices would really be moving on this time if it would truly recovers or would be having another round of price dips.
2994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 20, 2021, 08:11:32 PM
Am not a doctor in any way but these vaccines we have today, I thought they aren't 100% effective against the corana virus and hearing(reading) about how fully vaccinated individuals are allowed in these public spaces without masks makes sad reading because they aren't helping the situation.

I understand these lock downs, stay in doors are requests we can't get used to, but you are responsible for your well being best you avoid brick and mortar casinos and preferably play online if you have to.
They must be testing out the effectiveness of said vaccine and on why they do come up into this kind of decision which i dont see for to be ideal at all.

Even myself wouldnt really much trust even if myself had already vaccinated and im not really that much confident that you wont really get infected once you go out
without having a masks.

You wouldnt know if you would not be infected or not unless you do get the virus for yourself.Lets see on how this thing turns out on several months or even on just days.
2995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why complain about the dump when the market warned you???? on: May 19, 2021, 11:59:39 PM
It is always good to learn about price action before investing in cryptocurrency. Learning will guide your judgement in the market and prevent you from making decisions with instincts alone.

I see a lot of people complain about the recent dip in the market and I am surprised. Because if you know about price action, you would see that the signs were obviously there before it all went crashing down. On the daily time frame, Bitcoin broke structure and retested several times before heading down. The market warned you, but you didn't see it.
Warnings and tips doesnt always mean that they would really be followed by anybody because we do have different decisions and perceptions towards the market thats why its no surprise when it comes to this manner.

Decisions would neither be on positive or negative outcome and does vary on what are the decisions you had made before the market made out some significant move and if you had missed on selling while youre
in profits and suddenly the price dump then that would really be giving a regretful feeling.

2996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Freerolls or Tournaments with Guaranteed Prize? Or what's your preference? on: May 19, 2021, 11:15:55 PM
Freerolls are only fun during promotional events, but in order for a platform to gain regular patrons, they need to hold regular tournaments with guaranteed prize. I personally would want to climb the leaderboards and win the pot if I were an experienced poker player. It combines entertainment, competitiveness, and diligence all in one go. For free rolls, it only takes you so far without any form of motivation to go further, as the money isn't yours to begin with and you'll be 100% okay to lose it.
When it comes to determination side then they would really vary or does have the difference and i wont really be consider to be entertaining if you cant really experience some thrill
or excitement towards your gameplay because nothing beats out when you do make use your own funds since you would really be serious on your gameplays
compared on freerolls which you dont have nothing to lose but its not bad for those who do start up on this kind of game where free does counts.
2997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OH YEAH FRUSTATED TRADERS. on: May 19, 2021, 10:12:16 PM
We cannot avoid this, every person must go through this. People always learn only from their mistakes, and only in this way a person will grow and form his opinion. It can be considered a rite of passage.

And yet we can partly soften the blow. It is enough to learn how to join someone else's experience, study other people's mistakes, look for where other strategies were mistaken and compare with their own. It is difficult, but the abundance of information provided allows us to do it .

It is very natural for a trader to experience frustration when the dump occurs, I also experienced that,
I bought an altcoin and I still lost 30%, and I was frustrated, but if the frustration is still in us, then it will be detrimental,
and I try to get rid of that, as long as you are still in the spot market your money is still not gone, so just relax
As long you didnt panic sell then theres still chance for you to recover and its normal that these frustrations would come come specially into these kind of times
where price had dipped down after you had bought on the peak price and i do understand that kind of feeling which could really be frustrating and you would really be angry.
Is there something you can do? There's none but rather better to be mindful and try to resist that panic inside you where you should hold and make
out some cheaper buys since these kind of opportunity cant really be seen often.
2998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cricket Match-Fixing Scandal on: May 19, 2021, 09:57:01 PM
Rigging in sports in not new anymore, the only thing you'll get after you paid the ticket is disappointment because the match has been fixed. The main reason behind it is all about money, because they could make a lot more money in match fixing rather than playing a clean match, I mean, who doesn't want easy money, right? Especially in this time of pandemic where we really need money to survive and sustain our daily needs as well as our bills monthly.

its dissapointing if you find out that theres a match fixing that happen but most of the time you wont figure it out and what you will expect is only a normal loss but losses are still dissapointing to the many .
i dont think its pure money but a player could be rich to not care for the money but they can use their money to stay in their current position .
some just want fame but this is shameful if they will find out and they can carry this until they get old of until they die

When it comes to conscience then dont expect that it would be somewhat relevant into these players since they wouldnt really care at all as long they would neither get money or popularity
on which this one matter most.

Match fixing cant really be known until it gets busted and its hard to determine until there's some news or proofs that had been showed in the public.
This is not common but it do really exist.

Fixed matches doesnt limit only to this sport but on other sports as well.
2999  Other / Off-topic / Re: Now tell me if you still believe on Elon Musk. on: May 19, 2021, 09:19:19 PM
According to Tesla, the reason why they are not anymore accepting bitcoin is because of this reason.
Elon Musk says Tesla will no longer accept bitcoin due to fossil fuel use

But this article came out and their study proved that Banking system consumes two times more energy than Bitcoin: Research

So what are your thoughts on this, is Elon still credible that we should follow his tweet?
Those are just lame excuses but for sure he did it on purpose on indirect way just because he get bored in BTC and find another place for him to troll on which is on DOGE coin.

There are even rumors on creating his own coin. This man had done soo much noise into this market and regarding into the question if i would ever believe him, then when i do trust up this man?  Cheesy

...

I think it's not only Covid 19 that is driving online gambling to become more and more popular...

Online gambling is increasingly popular because it really makes it easier for us, we can do anything and be anywhere while gambling only with a smartphone or laptop. online gambling will continue to grow.
Accesibility is one of the most common reason on why online gambling is having a progress or recognition due into this factor and you are right that not covid-19 is the reason even if this one
didnt happen we can still see the development since we are already on an high-tech era where someone could engage on gambling in the comfort of their own home
but still there are people whom do still consider nor prefer on playing into physical places or casinos which it isnt surprising.
There are different markets on different individuals whom do prefer on playing into these places.
