From the last year, we experience having pandemic. Most of us right now would like to play in real-life gambling, but most of them right now are temporary close. Still, with the use of the alternative of online gambling, some of us give satisfactions to ourselves to play gambling. Still, like real-life gambling, we exchange our money for a chip. We use the chips of their platform with the equivalent value of a stable value like usd. These stats came from the google trend because of my curiosity about how online gambling becomes more popular due to this pandemic.

Within the part of July, this is the part that covid spreading and base on their trend, this becomes part of most search because the gamblers would like to find a way to gamble.

Poker was the first form of online gambling and got a lot of attention 10 years ago just to eventually not be so important anymore. People tend to prefer live tournaments, the biggest money was always on the physical tables. But due to the pandemic this changed again last year.
I am always glad to see a hype in online gambling because it means that there will be more money coming in for the casinos. Although many businesses suffered during the covid-19 lockdown but we saw a boom in the gambling industry in the form of online gambling. Even though the physical casino's were closed, but we saw that people used online gambling to spend their time. Even once the all the physical casino will get open, people will still prefer to play online at their convivence.

just look at the gambling board in this forum, and you will understand that online casinos, crypto casinos in particular, survive and keep on growing. there are so many new casinos that were introduced last year and they are doing good up until now.

With the government's advice to stay at home, we can't avoid finding a way to enjoy and gambling is part of it. Nothing surprising. It was always a known fact that when pandemic started, everyone had that hype of a feeling where they're pretty much free to do anything since they had a LOT of free time. Considering that, gambling isn't really a surprising option for some, nor should it be. Good point right there. Not to mention the old physical casinos that has been closed during lockdown has quickly switched online amidst the rise of the pandemic, thus adopting the modern changes with everything going contactless becomes a trend since 2020.
When everything is back to normal, physical casinos would go back to its normal operation and capacity, but It's also expected that online gambling would be at a higher rate compared to those years before the pandemic.

I predicted even with the vaccine and with herd immunity, there's still lock down I watched on the news that the virus is mutating and there are new breed of virus coming out that the present vaccine cannot neutralize, and with the continuous lock down and pandemic the trend will continue gambling will still become the favorite past time during lock down.
