2981  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn Merits? on: October 05, 2021, 08:11:50 AM
Dear All,

I m new to Bitcointalk forum as a member but I was referring it since more than a year for many topics Smiley Cheesy. Finally I thought It is a good time to connect with here as a member Cool. I want to know how do we earn merits Huh? What should I do?

What are the limitations of Bitcointalk forum Huh?

Highly appreciate your replies here. Kiss
See i would like to advise you to explore the forum to the extent you can do and find the best suitable guide for you that could lend a helping hand in earning merit.

There are some ways by which you can earn merits easily like there are some newbies merit giving thread on which you can complete the requirements and get merit as reward such as by @OgNasty and @Ratimov and you could probably find them on 1-2 page on B&H section. You could also try this test if you wish to do so and others but search for them.

Second and best option is to do make quality posts on the forum as this is main point of this whole system by @theymos and this could be achieved with knowledge and healthy discussion.

But you have made very few posts in these days and out of them 2 are bounty related submission and all rest are reply to your this thread. But if you are dedicated to earn them and learn on forum give time and your focus on acquiring tips and knowledge from senior members.Merit will come afterwards automatically.

@aysg76

So now it is almost going to be 6 months after your initial post of 3 months. How has it been for you since then? Your last edit was on August 11 so I guess you will be very happy over the past time to get more BTC at prices near to or much lower than your initial.

I envy you in many ways,,, for your situation to be able to do this but more for your spirit and freshness to this scene. I wish all the best!
Actually my last post for my DCA for the last month was made on 18th Sep as it was made under a separate post in this same thread.I think you have ignored that post so you could probably have a look at it.Yes i was happy to accumulate more in the dips and for me dips are opportunity to stack more not a sign of panic sell because don't want to repeat same mistakes again.

Strange isn't it? I know online there's been a steady (slow but steady) growth of gold buyers and communities who discuss how to get it, how to safely store, sell, trade, etc.

And no one there talks about how old the gold market's been (or silver, or other metals), how expensive it seems, how difficult it is to obtain (while guaranteeing authenticity), how it's already done 10000x or whatever. All the arguments people use as excuses not to get into Bitcoin, they don't seem to consider when buying gold.

And so they miss out on the next 5 years, just as I did when I missed out first hearing it in 2013 (my reasons were very different then, I simply wasn't investing or even putting time into anything digital after a horrendous experience years prior).
The gold buyer's are also substantially declining if we consider the market and make past comparison due to number of factors like diminishing returns over all these years as all other assests outperformed it this year as it has -7% return this year.People are now preferring some other options which might be risky like bitcoin but not all opt for bitcoin but some other areas of investment also.

The gold has build a community and from the past delusional world people have a faith in gold like the prices will always rise and it is termed as stable source of income for them.Second the gold is recognised as status symbol in many countries where women wear fancy jewellery in different occasions. They will not hesitate to buy it whatever the prices are and will try to store them. You are right they won't care how it is mined or how will it perform in future but for bitcoin they will always have some kind of weird excuses like it's risky, scam or bubble, don't have money to buy it.

For those who put on some excuses like it's expensive need to think it's slightly above than gold and if you make comparisons gold is not going to give them even profits in long run.The wars and disaster could lead to price fluctuations in gold but bitcoin is free from them. The boosting factor is limited supply of 21 million.

But people will have excuses and bitcoin community is fast growing with more and more realising that it's an exit policy from fiat and centralised zoo's that we all are trapped in from long time.

El Salvador now gives 20 cents off per gallon of fuel as fuel subsidy to the customers paying the bill with bitcoin.

A little step towards mass adoption.

I am finding this funny that how come the banks might be thinking accepting bitcoin and providing clients crypto services.

Bitcoin be like I see myself far ahead from you guys.
2985  Other / Meta / Re: Should every newbie have a limit in the bounty of social media? on: October 04, 2021, 06:02:49 AM
There are 100s (1000s?) of users here that look like this person:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2156763
Or this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2297077
Ah yes, members of the 1000+ post/0 merit club.  Gotta love 'em.  At least what they post is mostly just bounty reports and not shitposts (though some of them do that as well).
They have more than 1000 posts and still not a single merit and the reason you have mentioned that they only post the bounty reports in that section only. They are not concerned to the forum and happy serving and fulfilling their base purpose to earn some fake tokens from these bounty campaign.

But there are some other who move one step ahead of them and they are junior members who managed to earn atleast one merit and account is registered in 2018-2019 and they are still engaging themselves in bounty campaign. The one merit earned maybe from an another alt account and then they join some signature campaign and shitposting again on the forum. Some of them sell that account saying they can earn with this account by participating in campaign which is bad from forum perspective. You will find lot of them. Not only newbie but some high rank members have not also been able to earn any single merit after the introduction of merit system and that's surprising. But it's true.
2986  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 04, 2021, 05:36:17 AM

The best is to contact them over the email as twitter is mostly for giveaways and promotional tweets and they don't respond quickly over there as past complaints suggest. But the support team will try to resolve the query ASAP if the player has contacted them with valid proofs.

Their Twitter is purely for advertising and there's not a trace of any two-way communication (excluding the freebies giveaway). You can even see the account manager doesn't bother to follow anyone.

For a mega casino, they should also provide support over social media as well because not everyone is able to be/ play on-site.
Mostly the issue arises of the on site players who are already playing on the casino and that's why support team response with email only. For those who want to inquire about Roobet can search for it and read rules about it.The team will respond to the withdrawal like issues and it's better to have communication over the email and they will look into the matter.
2987  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: October 04, 2021, 05:18:32 AM

What bets are you referring into here? $80-$300 is a bet of a small gamblers for you? Well if that are bets on slots per spin I won't agree to that since having $80-$300 wager per spin is huge.
This NFT concept to a gambling platform is a very attractive feature since we're currently at NFT hype. I think it just not that easy to get NFT from betting small money unless the player is very lucky.
Read carefully i said bets placed for this NFT are still high compared to small gamblers who usually bet upon with $1-$2. Then i point out that players who get an NFT from this win might stand a chance to gain huge profits if they hold it and they get popular.
2988  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Give this bitcoin test... on: October 04, 2021, 04:45:06 AM
I did the test as well, but forgot to take screenshot. Maybe even better as I scored 36/50, which is quite embarrassing, seeing how others performed. Those economy questions completely ruined my score, as I was almost randomly choosing answers and didn't have much luck, and on top of that I made several stupid mistakes due hastiness and not properly reading all the answers.

At least I learned couple of new things, so can't say I wasted those ~10 minutes it took me to finish the test.
So well spent 10 minutes for learning something new.Not only you many other's lag in the economy related questions but at the last you know them if you try to read and understand them thoroughly. You still pass the test and that's not embarrassing at all man.It was for self evaluation not to compare your results with others. If this would be my goal then i would have made toppers chart for this test but this is for knowledge.
2989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Past three months bitcoin journey on: October 04, 2021, 04:39:56 AM
~snip~
You are right I am not into selling at this time and my only goal is to accumulate bitcoin without any target that i want to have 1 btc or more because my savings are being put into DCA investment strategy and maybe they can go up or low with time but my habit of putting funds into bitcoin is not gonna change.

Speaking frankly i don't want to build a huge bitcoin portfolio due to the prices at this time. With $48k per bitcoin at this time i would have to spend that much to have one full bitcoin and building huge portfolio for me is difficult depending on my salary, savings and future bitcoin prices which are going to be more high.

But the main point of concern is that it's not necessary to be a whale or big fish in bitcoin market but in coming time you should not be categorised under no coiner as that will be painful. So i would like to keep this DCA strategy going with whatever amount I am willing to do and maybe end up with big portfolio in end if we speak of 5-10 years.Anytime is good but don't wait too much for it as very less are to mined now.
2990  Other / Meta / Re: Should every newbie have a limit in the bounty of social media? on: October 03, 2021, 07:07:02 AM
Are Newbies even allowed to participate in bounties?  I thought Jr. Member was the lowest rank that could participate.
Yes they are allowed to join the bounty campaign but the minimum rank to join any signature campaign on the forum is junior member. The above links are of the bounty campaign where you could find various bounty allocation like Twitter, Facebook, reddit, YouTube, article or translation in which most of the newbie account participate and only rule is No Alt account and cheating is allowed not restricting any newbie from joining but still they join with alt farms to have more rewards. But if you see signature campaign then rules are you need to be alteast junior member to post on the forum to get rewards.

Except that it doesn't take much to rank up from Newbie.
It hardly takes 1 merit only and 30 activity to rank up to junior member and there are many helpful threads available for them to gain 1 merit. But as @lovesmayfamilis pointed out many of them still spam post the threads and without any dedication keep on with the same type of irrelevant posting and joining bounty campaign.

But who knows how many alt accounts there are in any of those bounties?  Probably tons of them, but it's been a problem for a long time and nobody seems inclined to do much about it.
Most of the time you would find the same bitcoin address for many accounts in the bounty threads and it's clear sign of alt account and most of the bounty related threads face same situation so i simply ignore them and keep posting on the forum trying to make good contributions.
2991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interview session with store owner accepting bitcoin... on: October 03, 2021, 06:51:09 AM

This conversation of yours with a store owner who is very optimistic about bitcoin or cryptocurrency was so inspiring, it is amazing to know that even the government in your country were not yet allowing the use of bitcoin but also not considered as not legal but here there is these kind of small store owner that willing to adopt the fast changing technology. It's amazing to know that these kind of small business owner were also capable of adopting the digital finance and this is probably one of the good result of having bitcoin circulating in economy of one country.
Not all accept bitcoin but those who are willing to take the risk at current (due to volatility in prices) and can foresee a deflationary future ahead for them are happily accepting and investing in bitcoin. The large companies accepting bitcoin is good but when small store owners or street side sellers who cannot risk their funds are also willing to accept bitcoin then it's truly great. But what i was more surprised was to see his intellectual knowledge about the bitcoin and that's why decided to publish the interview session with him.Maybe my next meeting with him soon and happy to talk with him.

This could be the problem if there’s no team handling the support, you might get your answer to your queries longer than expected. They are good in marketing, its time now to provide good customer service as well since they grow a lot, hiring new members for the team could be a lot easier for them to continue handling the traffic on every area of their company.

Who ever said there is no support team? Of course, there is one, and Roobet support is available 24/7. I always received an answer within a short period of time when I contacted them.
There is Live Support on the site and you can also contact them via Twitter, Telegram, or by email: support@roobet.com.

The best is to contact them over the email as twitter is mostly for giveaways and promotional tweets and they don't respond quickly over there as past complaints suggest. But the support team will try to resolve the query ASAP if the player has contacted them with valid proofs.

NFT is good addition and some gamblers might start to have interest on this because of Rollbit.
True, when I look at Twitter so many people interesting and joined Rollbit because of this feature. And also many people won NFT with just a low wagering value and got a thousand Dollars value of NFT. They seem quite successful in here, even though they are a new casino but they perfectly running it with a huge community inside and outside here. Just continue to develop and create a new feature in the future then they will keep standing in here.

Those wagers are still high compared to small gamblers bet like $80-$300 for this NFT chance to win from Rollboxes but still they are worth trying because if you are lucky and got one of it then profits will be huge and who knows they trading in millions after some time only.Waiting for the date for pre-sale and announcement on discord from Rollbit about it.

I will recommend this test to members in my local community. It was fun!
Sure you should recommend such mind boggling test to your local community and make them familiar with such questions that could unlock their mind powers and open more knowledge doors for them. They will surely like the test and happy that members are scoring good even in economics related questions.

These types of patterns are more important than candlesticks pattern because they are signs of adoption.

A picture which speaks up thousands words but only for those who understands it.

Rollbit is continuously giving away the different NFT to the players wagering.Like they previous day a player wagered almost $80 and was lucky to grab the Sneaky Vampire NFT worth $11500 from the Rollboxes. The players are talking full advantage of this new addition to the platform and enjoying it at the same time. This is great for NFT lovers and gambler's.
What a lucky pal, wish I could get some of that luck sooner or later. With that price of an NFT even at this early stage is truly mesmerizing and I think if the pal who got this know how to be patient and realized how much it could value in the next year's then I'd say it will be worth more than the current price by now. Congratulations to that lucky pal!
You can't say that prices will be high only even in the long term as nothing is guaranteed in crypto market and what if NFT don't tend to be in much hype. But if you say about profit then he will surely have it because he was lucky enough to get that NFT for only $80 which is worth $11500 at this time.He is already 143x profits.

It seems to me that you are starting with a bad framework in the first place to even presume that the criminal element rate in bitcoin has come down at all.  In other words, the criminal rate in bitcoin was likely never high, but only a myth spread by bitcoin naysayers and nocoiners... and they can fuck off with their nonsense.
The reasons is the results people are seeing is just an false ratio spread by the fake articles and comparing it with criminal related activities to divert users from knowing the true picture behind the bitcoin. You simply google fiat related crimes and you will see million dollars fund transfer.Bitcoin was never used by criminals for illicit activities on large scale after the shut down of Silk Road but still many are living in delusional world where btc is portrayed as negative currency. But if we check in deep we would find all these are rumours to cover the inflationary fiat by mainstream media and government.

I would also prefer not to deposit your coins on any of the centralised exchanges also as not your keys not your funds. The exchange held your private keys and moreover they are prone to hack easily as we have seen in the past and latest incident also suggest the same  Hacker's stole crypto currency from coinbase of 6000 users.

That's why it is advisable to use hardware wallets as keys don't leave the device and anyone won't have access to them unless you are careless similar to other cases.Use them for security and leave these exchanges if you are aware of some situations.
