Bitcoin basically because all other includes shitcoin in the market Wink

Guys, let's all take a moment of reflection for Bill Gates. He's had a really rough year...

Yeah, inflation is gonna eat his billions. Should've bought bitcoins when he had a chance.
Yes life for him is very hard and he speaks on that situation also like it would take us some more years to re-establish our businesses and on the contrary part he has gained enough this year also  Grin

But hyperinflation seems to be very close that it could take billion dollars in the rabbit hole easily and what common people are waiting for don't know.

There could be surprise elements to us also like he might come forward in public and say actually bitcoin was good investment for all of us and then i also invested some billions into it few years back like Tim Cook and then common people would be fool not to invest in it.

But the most important thing is that if I were among the managers of Rollbit, I would not scatter my attention, because as time has shown, it is better to be the best in your niche than mediocre everywhere. Although for some reason it seems to me that the current policy of Rollbit is dictated by large players ... who, as is customary, are in close relations with the owners of such platforms.
You're right. But Rollbit is a competitive casino and even they have their own unique features that other casinos doesnt have, still, they want to give what most gamblers are looking for and thats the sportsbook. Im certain they will give their best to offer their gamblers the best experience on their casino. Though there's no announcement yet regarding this but it was expected to be launch next year (based on their support that I asked about this).
Yes i also hint that first month of this coming year 2022 we might hear from them about unveiling their plans regarding the introduction of sportsbook to Rollbit but it's still anticipation and no accurate information about the same is available to us at current but will wait for that time to know exactly how they come up with this thing. At current just noticing their regular NFT involvement on Twitter like loans and rollbot giveaways.

Ignoring them completely is the best alternative.

There are probably two kinds of clown, one who could cause no damage and one who is destructive. The former you could set aside as nuisance. It's the kind of clown you could easily ignore. It may go on and on with his/her folly but since it causes no damage, it could be ignored. But the latter you cannot. Obviously, Craig Wright belongs to the latter kind. He can't be ignored because he's sowing confusion, has convinced some people of his lies, has the money, has an amount of influence, and has used legal means to harass his opponents. This kind of clown has to be stopped.
Most probably his wealth will be gone soon through his foolish acts and his misconceptions that he can prove the court ownership of those funds and will regret later on his acts.Like this one which proves how much big liar he has and trying his cheap tricks all the time :

Quote
Wright was ordered to pay $100 million in compensatory damages over a breach in intellectual property rights related to W&K Info Defense Research LLC, a joint venture between the two men.

We are immensely gratified that our client, W&K Information Defense Research LLC, has won $100,000,000 reflecting that Craig Wright wrongfully took bitcoin-related assets from W&K," said counsel for W&K.

He will be seeing his face as clown in the mirror and will tell stories how he once tried to do the biggest scam and grab those billion of dollars but that doesn't work and he was the one who got scammed in reality. But yes if we don't want to ignore him then make sure he regret for his bad deceiving powers.
2464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: December 29, 2021, 09:19:13 AM
The world has had Bitcoin equivalent for thousands of years, and they called it gold. Sure it wasn't digital, there were no computers back then. Gold is still around, sure crypto is easier to transact in peace time.

Only thing I can think of is if the electric grid were to fail for some reason (nuclear war, massive solar flare or something to that effect), then Gold/silver would be better...
Comparing bitcoin with gold is the worst that we can do because it's far more better than gold and people at an early stage called it digital gold because it was progressive hard and becoming people's favourite choices but it has lot of differences between it as the supply is limited to 21 million and most importantly it has given immense returns to the holders over the decade whereas your gold is lying dead in your bank lockers for all that period.

You said crypto is traceable but there are lot of ways to do so in Bitcoin also like through mixing services where it becomes impossible to track the transactions also but if you are making right transactions you don't need to worry about the same. But your concern makes me feel whether gold is used in illicit activities if you fear tracking? Suppose you carry your physical gold how much you can carry along with safety in this new world where thiefs and attackers have various ways to take it from you? The wars and nuclear things you are talking about can't shut down the internet completely because the tele communication needs to be taken at some point but yes they can declare emergency to take funds from you in your physical gold format through your bank lockers and deny access to it.

The fiat and all other markets are the most affected during this wars and do you think gold will remain unaffected with them? You could check that during war times the gold prices surged and after the conditions are normal they return to the pre invasion prices during almost every scenario so c'mon be wise enough to make difference between your money and choose the right ones if you can see it apart from your war concept.

2466  Other / Meta / Re: TheBitcoinTalkShow - First episode is here! on: December 28, 2021, 12:22:35 PM
Was busy at some other works and didn't get time to watch the video but was in mind that video is out and was continuously thinking about the same and couldn't resist myself from having a look at it now and believe me it was great surprise for me and thanks @Cyrus for releasing it before the year end and it was amazing to have the first episode with us on YouTube.Just noticed few things:

1) The channel is progressing with the first video uploaded 2 days ago as the subscriber count has grown to 64 where it was stuck to 39 after the teaser launch.

2) It has 353 views including mine in just 2 days whereas the teaser still have 450 after 2 months also which means 78% have come in two days only which is perfect growth.

3) The table has still the old logo in blue color same to as in @OP lying there which i noticed maybe not worth of sharing but still feel so.

Overall it was really good to see you and team making efforts and appreciate you for the same but also wait for the second video has grown suddenly. So best wishes to you and keep us entertained and indulge with videos coming out.

I had to chuckle that signature campaigns were mentioned, and for a minute there I nearly slapped my head, anticipating that it might draw in a ton of people intrigued by the idea of getting paid to post--despite the fact that it was noted that campaigns are thought to be responsible for the spam problem.  However, I suppose it remains to be seen how many people actually see the video.  At the time I watched it (about 3 minutes ago) it had 120 views.

The video clearly showing people that they can be paid through the signature advertisement under their signature space where they post but the fact i like this part was because it clearly states that it generates spam as well because when your mind shifted towards only earning then making quality discussion seems to fade away as he talked about the same. But yes they will have some specific content dedicated to it to make further clarifications about it.You catch that fast as the video scrolled out soon when it was showing the thread about discussion and became famous now to youtube community as well. The best part was no advertisement and simple request to like subscribe and comment if you wish to do so unlike the chessy youtubers running ads for their channel to hit that subscribe button as fast they can.

Cyrus is so uptight sometimes, imagine if he hosted the show  Grin

Here's the link guys and girls, made sure the video is now public as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK4VqHEf8CE

Spread the word if you liked it and most importantly, enjoy your holidays and Merry Christmas!
What a present at the year end and for me this is perfect Christmas gift from you man and now the video rolling out discussion seems to come to an end and the wait is finally over for all of us.The 6:11 seconds video which aired the first episode of official channel of bitcointalk is now live for the community as well general public.Just finished watching it and come here to reply.

Found it

The same is already displayed in big letters down on the glass and maybe at the time of editing they added this blur effect to make us find more puzzles and strings attached to the video but the members here have very keen observation because they have been waiting for so long now and will take time to watch it perfectly

Great, unexpected, yet greatly waited Christmas  gift.

I aldready like “Bitcoin Ninja” #nohomo and the overall tone of the video.
Also I have been credited, and I clearly saw my avatar in the video.
I can tick one of my bucket list.

Already waiting for the second episode!

So santa accepted all our members wish to grant us first episode before the year end and unexpectedly we have encountered the situation where we have the video and now it's live. You seems to be overjoyed with this video coming out which can be seen you consuming 50 merits limits on the video publication post Grin. We all are happy to see this and the video was superb and just come to know which further topics they will be discussing about in the next videos.

Funny part is he knows how eagerly we wait for the video and continuously ask him about release date so finally tells :

Quote
we don't know when it will be released but we have started shooting the first batch of videos.

The host reminds me of my school presentation which i have prepared well overnight and seems to be calm and telling us the journey of bitcointalk.
2467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A meme worth understanding... on: December 28, 2021, 11:40:28 AM

Discrediting him publicly is the only real solution (and hats off to COPA for doing that), else he has the potential to do quite a big amount of harm/damage.
Unfortunately this has started far too late, one example being the fact people from the UK being unable to get access to Bitcoin whitepaper at bitcoin.org (by court order).
Yes they have filled lawsuit against that fraudster who doesn't have any proof to claim the ownership of the 1 million coins and how come one can believe that someone who acts like he tried to hide his indentity but if people have now known him he won't remain anonymous now as this is complete bullshit.But the UK high court can help him a little bit by removing whitepaper on his lawsuit but still the fight is on.There was one post by Cobra about the same back on reddit and it clearly states who the hell this clown CSW is being supported by;

Quote
You can tell they're really squirming when you see Calvin on Twitter trying to spin obvious disastrous news in a positive light and all 100 of BSV's users liking/retweeting him.

Link : COPA initiated lawsuit against CSW

And I think that calling him a clown and a liar can be a small part we can do, much better than ignoring him.

Infact if has spread the word about him being Satoshi to the general category of fools but we can also call him liar but fraud is the word which suits him the most and soon he will end up being charged under the same for his misconduct and he will never be able to claim what he wants because whosoever is the original one will never need to prove him through court.A clown in his own circus.

You are wrong. The scammer did it all on his own and to make money by fooling people. He indeed has been scamming a lot of people as they buy the shitcoin he produced and called it "Satoshi Vision" and dumped it on idiots who bought it. He is still scamming people in different ways such as taking their money by promising them that he is "Satoshi" and has a big fortune and if they pay him, he will pay them back.
He is also lying to the court of law, which is another form of fraud as he  claims ownership to an open source project created by someone else!
Actually this was his original gameplan in which he succeeded to some extent by making people fools and make them believe he is Satoshi Nakamoto and then created another scam coin BSV and then the same thing happened with it of shitcoins as soon as it got pumped he cashed out his profits and then dump it in the market and Calvin tweets that it's the orginal Bitcoin protocol and future which is complete nonsense. You can check how much it have lost value over this time but still their supporters will try to scam people. The Satoshi would never play such cheap tricks as he is already billionaire with all those coins. He is exploiting the legal system which can be manipulated with lot of ways as they are symbol of honour and judgement but in reality they are not. Here is one quote from Cobra in thread by @LFC_Bitcoin

Someone sent me this thread. Just wanted to say thanks for making it.

Lawyers like his who are willing to go along (and seem to enjoy) with filing completely made up cases are some of the biggest scumbags IMO. There is nothing real to litigate, because everything is made up. There isn't even a hint of truth behind any of it. They're just attempting to use the legal system as a tool to dox people, and financially ruin them. I don't know what's going to happen with my case, but no doubt he will appeal and file more cases against me for more made up nonsense. How do you deal with this crap, when someone can just make up a story, and sue you? And you have to spend money and years of your life fighting against it?

These are quite dangerous and desperate people, so I'm still exploring ways I can fight this while keeping my anonymity. It's looking like it may actually be possible, but we'll have to see about that. I'm surprised he hasn't attracted the attention of law enforcement yet, especially after trying to seize £3B worth of Bitcoin with a totally made up story.

Hopefully it won't be too long until he's thrown in jail.

Donate to Cøbra (pending court battle against Craig Wright)

One of the best pieces of evidence that struck at the very foundations of Faketoshi's attempt to prove his identity as Satoshi is signed BTC addresses with a very clear message. In my opinion, the one who signed all these addresses is someone very close to Satoshi Nakamoto, or maybe even he personally.

Source

The true representative of Bitcoin like Andreas Antonopoulos know he is the scammer behind all these things and he might not also know the technical working of Bitcoin at all but still claims himself to be founder of that thing which is out of his imaginary bounds.Maybe Satoshi got hurt with him and came to sign this message that atleast he can't be the one so don't believe that liar. 2468  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 28, 2021, 09:35:20 AM
Rollbit is a good platform with its own history, [and I am not saying this because I advertise their service] but for some reason it seems to me that it will be difficult for them to compete with Sportsbet. At the very least, they need to be provided with those opportunities that other bookmakers provide, for example, an uncomplicated interface ... no commission costs when withdrawing funds (this also applies to crediting funds, it should be instant).

We are having some advance discussion about the sportsbook of Rollbit and we don't know what they will come up with or when they will be making announcement for the same so as my personal opinion the actual difference could be made when they are available in the market as before that we can only assume the things. They have seen the market output and interest moreover they have some competitors odds also and will try to develop the interface and make it compatible but time will tell about the same.

At this time they are more engaged in some other niches which is good way of business expansion keeping the trend in mind but they have smartly integrated it with casino functioning so it's nice move as players are earning through it as well.Rest we will see what they come up with.
2469  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 28, 2021, 09:23:02 AM
Agree that being anonymous makes it more comfortable especially in the world of gambling, maybe this is also the reason why many players who hide their usernames at the casino, can see on the list of winners of the $250,000 lottery https://roobet.com/winter-wonderland-raffle there are 25 winners and only 8 players whose usernames are displayed the rest are hidden. The winners have hundreds or even 1.5Million tickets, which means they use big funds to gamble.
The most of the players want to remain anonymous while playing on crypto casinos and you could hint it form the KYC discussions we had on the forum and most of them prefer casinos without KYC but still there are some who are comfortable with level 1 of KYC also. Those who have such high number of tickets are really gambling huge amount of funds and we know the whales are playing on each casino.
there is a significant difference when talking about KYC because I personally still really like this kind of anonymity and will prefer casinos that do not implement KYC or indeed only apply level 1 KYC.
This is very clear because apart from liking anonymity I don't want my privacy to be exposed in the casino even though only casino people know.
That is at our end on which casino we choose and in your case you like complete privacy then KYC is a major concern and you will choose that particular site which don't implement any kind of documentation like your name or phone number also and we all have our personal choices.
There are still many casinos that dont implement kyc, thus gamblers has an option on where they will be at ease to gamble. In my case im hesitant at first to comply on the level 1 kyc because I prefer to remain anonymous. However, this site is one of my most trusted casino hence to continue to play I comply on the needed info. Roobet is the only casino that I entrusted my info in order to gamble.
There were many pages discussion about Roobet KYC here on the forum also and some were against even level 1 KYC at that time but it was said that if they don't like it they can choose some other casino and yes there are completely anonymous casino aslo and they can play over there but some slot could not be available there so look for that. But it's your wish which one to choose or not at last.
2470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: December 28, 2021, 09:03:47 AM
I agree with your strategic concept that investing is very good if it can last up to 3-4 years, as we have seen from year to year with significantly increasing prices. there is nothing wrong if you can invest now and can save up to 4 years in the future., because it is very likely that bitcoin will reach $300k in 2025 in the future.
If that's the goal for investing in bitcoin. Make sure that you won't be selling at $100k-$200k.

Because if those prices have come, you'll be tempted to sell at those prices. Even I, I wouldn't have any thought of selling some by that time.
Each and every holder have different approach to invest and bitcoin like for some DCA would be beneficial but for this you need to have regular flow of income so that you can put up money at your desired intervals but on other side if you can't do that and want to put some extra funds at once you can opt that strategy also and can do that whenever you wish to to so.

But then we say about holding then it's also dependant on how much years we can be patient enough to hold or sometimes we are in emergency so need to cash out our coins so it's not at all problems because we save to use them whenever we are in need.Suppose you have invested at $50k then prices are $100k now after 2-3 years then selling at this level already put you in the profitable situation so selling at that time won't be loss but if can hold even further then it's fine but use your mind as profit is main point if we take it as an asset class. So it all varies and we can't say when to sell or buy as timing out market perfectly is very hard to achieve. So take and manage your investment in best possible way you can.
2471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People claiming themself satoshi on: December 28, 2021, 08:53:00 AM
There are many personalities who all claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto, but up to this time none of them has been able to prove this. The most famous of these alleged personalities:
Craig Wright
Dorian Nakamoto
Nick Szabo
But no one can know Satoshi's true personality, nor can it be sure yet if Satoshi is a single person or a group of people, for me I tend to believe that Satoshi is a group of people and not a single person because the system that he invented is difficult for a single person to do all this amazing feat To change the face of the economic system in the whole world.
There are many who have claimed to be the orginal one or the inventor behind the decentralised crypto bitcoin like Craig Wright and Nick Szabo but they all are the faketoshi actually because they can't prove their ownership of funds which is the key to their wallets and think they can fool people easily but that's all in vain.

The main reason behind some claiming to be Satoshi is to get into the limelight and gain popularity only as btc is hot topic and media and general public takes a lot of interest in them so they want to be in media sensation which is very common to see among many these days.

Some others want to scam people to take funds from them and run scam donation camps like the germany faketoshi who was charged under $3-$4 million of btc scam by claiming he is Satoshi Nakamoto but the fools are those who believe them in reality.Just the other day i made a thread about them to make you aware through a meme which has deep meaning for those who can understand it.

A meme worth understanding...

I can also stand in the market the other day to say I am also Satoshi Nakamoto and would you believe me without any valid proofs? So same is the case with them they will come and go so need not to make them feel privileged.

In the end i would say we all are Satoshi..

Everybody getting frustrated on seeing $50-$51k ladder race like going up and then sliding down between these two numbers and asked CB to do something

Every BTC holder to CB : Cmon do something

CB : Let's print $49k

Everybody : F*uck don't do that  Grin

A pump for ants was also taking us away even if slowly also but CB once again playing games with us Angry

But if we have some looks at the charts there are some indications to some pumps coming this new year eve so atleast be patient to see if that's right or not.

Waiting for some heavy pumps and wait till that time and stacking sats.

Although i share some memes in WO thread about bitcoin prices and have discussion about them but recently i shared one meme there which has a meaning in it which is worth noticing.

Made me laugh hard Grin

To all the faketoshis in the market this technique is worth trying but still it won't help you.

There are lot of faketoshis surrounding the market and making claims they are the real Satoshi behind the creation of digital currency bitcoin but in reality they are frauds .The biggest of them is Craig Wright who has done so many attempts to prove himself as the real creator behind this innovation but those who know about bitcoin they can know from the meme why he is the Clown who is just asking everyone to support him just in order to claim those 1 million coins but in reality doesn't knows the fact who has the keys is the owner and Satoshi was not a fool like him.

Just shared it with you all so that you also knows those who are claiming themselves to be the original Satoshi like this clown Wright are the biggest frauds who will get nothing and we should not give them importance at all.

There was only one who has still managed to hide his indentity perfectly and all others are just front stage bad actors making worse films for them.

This is one of them Fake german Satoshi arrested

And just waiting for this type of news for Mr.Wright also and it is not too far away as many have come to know about true functioning of bitcoin and true reality of proclaimed Satoshi.

This story gave me some thoughts.

How all the same falsely demonize BTC users by the media. As if bitcoin is used only by criminals, crooks and just villains. This topic is an example that things are completely different. Btc users are mostly honest and decent people, deserving respect. It is a pity that such cases, which prove the opposite of what the media say, for the most part remain here, within the community, and people simply don't know about such happy endings.
They have portrayed bitcoin in the negative sense from the previous time when it was used in Silk Road but were there not any criminal activities past 2009? It's actually the people who use them and currency is not itself good or bad but how it is being used but the people who still believes Governments and banking houses can easily come across these statements which says btc is bad and other bullshit but those who understands bitcoin at the root levels know it's life saver. Moreover they say it's anonymous but it's pseudo anonymous which means the they can track transactions to some extent unlike Monero but the problem very few cares to listen.Such cases where people get Bitcoin back are not good for any media houses and news channel who only runs after publicity and profits but we as forum members appreciate this kind efforts from theymos and our newbie hero who proves it with his decency human kindness can dilute all the false claims.Happy for @OP as well that he recieved his funds back.

I know how it feel to lose some Bitcoin either by human error or getting scammed as I experienced both and dont want someone to get same feelings.
You have a golden heart man and just recently bumped across this topic and was amazed to see this happening because I have seen or say come across some situations in which the people have enough to enjoy their life and whenever some kind of this human error arises they never return them and said the sender should have been careful before hand. But in the world where there is evil minded people diminishing the negative part of bitcoin you come across as a bright light to endure all the darkness.Best wishes to you man and kind words from you.
2475  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: December 27, 2021, 08:38:39 AM

I do not understand why they publish these statements.

1. Those who actively read and educate themselves would never fall for this news headline. They comprehend what the term inflation protected asset means (even if a bank of england publicist does not).

2.  The demographic that does not read or educate themselves, might believe this headline. But those people never read, and in never reading, would never see it.

That's the problem that still vast majority of people have gone in flow to believe that their currency is becoming strong in world market. For instance people living in US,UK, Canada and some developed nations tend to believe they can spend more in other countries as the third world countries and underdeveloped countries have very low rates because of many reasons but in actual they never see that their legal fiat has lost so much in value overtime and the inflation rates have killed them slowly. But the problem they see is when the conditions go out of hands and the government imposes emergency declaration and then they curse them but it's all in vain.

BOA and other who have built their fiat bubble across the society couldn't see it burst by the Bitcoin and people knowing the reality of their currency that how much it has depreciated over time. The people who are educated about bitcoin will gain knowledge about how it could help them a lot in coming time as hedge guard against inflation due to it's deflationary Nature. There is nice comparison which shows that $1 USD could buy you complete loaf of bread and other items in the past but now it could not buy you daily items with few dollars also because of inflation but on the other side one bitcoin in the past was equal to loaf of bread but now see you could even buy Tesla with it so tells what is best investment?

This is difference which Bank of America and other government officials will hinder you to see it but if you are educated enough to put light on it then you will believe in bitcoin.

NFT and the RLB which is a good thing because this is the one that gives them good popularity in a gambling platform, as for now i didn't see a big event with the rollbit i guess and hoping they will handle on this upcoming starting of the new year lets wait for their update.
They have gained so much from these Rollbots sale and they see it as opportunity to expand the casino and integrate various giveaways with these NFT's so they are focusing more on it at this time. You could find lottery system and they have huge jackpot rolling out on it which will be distributed and regular giveaways side along. At this time you will find so many additional NFT and RLB token events in which players are trying hands off. With time they will be giving more to the community.

This test helps a lot for newbies/ low rank even high ranks to test their knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
When I taking the test ill encountered many words about crypto that I did not know before but after the test and do some research I'll learned many things especially in bitcoins.
You will learn at the same time you will get merit.
That is the beauty of learning that you suddenly become familiar with all the terms that you have never heard before and now you also have the information about the same to tell others about it.If we are not interested in learning new things then it wouldn't benefit us in the long run and through this test I will say you could enhance your knowledge a little bit if not too much. The merits are just given as appreciation on taking the test and scoring good but if you cheat for merits then it's your loss not mine.

I agree with this because at least when people still use fiat and if something bad happens, they can ask the government to help them fix the problem.
But when something bad happens to bitcoin, they can not ask anyone except themselves why they put their money in bitcoin.
Okay i understand your point also but there are two scenario case for it also as if you are seeing bitcoin as an asset class or mode of payment. If we are making comparisons among fiat and btc then take both as mode of payment and take all the cases in that respect. But what bad can happen to fiat about which you are saying? Suppose there are funds loss or some kind of scam then does it happen due to any natural loss but it happened because we were careless and ignorant enough that made us suffer such loss but if say about Bitcoin the same could happen in that also like people getting scammed of funds because they're ignorant and fool not to safely backup their funds and it that's simple man.You just take care of your funds as many are doing then use them when needed. But if say it's not widely accepted at this moment then it is fine excuse but government can help you if you help yourself first. So be sure in first place.

I remember I had to find some extra money a few years ago, it has been a while but I remember I just found translations to my own language (from English) and there were like a few each month, so I would make a good amount of money that way. I also put some money aside every month in crypto, I just cashed out my Avax unfortunately for paying some medicine I needed to get for my mother-in-law (just 800 bucks, not a life changer) but these are all the great things that crypto help you with, I spent about 50 bucks on that Avax, made a great profit, and used it to get a life saving drug.
That's good that you earned good amount of profits from these crypto projects but don't blindly trust them as most of them coming to the market these days with their token offering through different visions turn out to be scam and you don't want to be part of them as it could ruin your image as well not getting you paid.In 2017 I also was involved in some projects in social media promotion and done some translations like you but in the end the story was same like other's of not getting paid and then leave them all.For me investing in bitcoin could only be sufficient evidence that can solve your lot of problems.
