2981  Economy / Speculation / Re: Small dip in BTC price after Trump stimulus tweet on: October 15, 2020, 04:03:07 PM
Nah, there's other reason behind that bitcoin small dip. Not all of Trump's tweet will have am impact with bitcoin's flow of price. I will believe of this cause of spike was that of the pandemic or the movement or selling of companies who owns many bitcoins. But just as thst of the tweet? I don't think so.

I have the same thought.
It might have a little though but not everything.
Trump always had that impact with investors. They are following him. Heck, they would even fund him to win. Not that he needs it.  Grin
It might just be a coincidence that a fall will suddenly happen.
Besides, he uses Twitter too much. Does that mean everything he says will connect to the financial industry?
2982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 15, 2020, 02:26:21 PM
IIRC, I think that was two season where their experiment has failed, 25 years old is still young but he should make a decision early as we never know what could happen in the future, you know injury is still possible for this young talent as he is very aggressive in the floor.

He could stay with the Bucks but his voice needs to be heard too.
Talk about rebuilding the team.
I think what Lebron did was a good example. Now he got another championship.
He has a goal and he talked with the Lakers management about it. Taking out the young talents and putting veterans who have the same goal as him.

Giannis can do that now. I bet the Bucks management don't want to lose him just yet.
2983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 15, 2020, 06:26:39 AM
Giannis wants to fully use his prime and the championship should be achieved as early as possible.

Indeed.
The injury was a bad sign.
Also, teams in the East are getting stronger. Bucks management really needs to do something about their roster.
Maximizing his strength while he is still young is the priority but that doesn't mean he doesn't need good roleplayers.

Fill it up with shooters. Try to train Giannis to pass accurately even with an attempt to force an attack on the paint.
There is still so much room for improvement for that big guy.
2984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites accepting bets from countries where gambling is illegal. on: October 14, 2020, 05:53:50 PM
VPN had always been the solution for me.  Wink
There was one time that I cannot log in with one of the known sports betting website.
The funny thing is, I am already signed up months ago.
I tried to log in like 5 times thinking it was just an error. It warns me that it was not allowed in my country.
Tried everything like restarting my computer and internet connection but nothing solves it.
Lastly, I tried turning off my anti-virus and it was solved.
I think those anti-viruses also have features of blocking some websites or logging in.

We will always be gamblers, soft, or hardcore.
Thankfully, cryptocurrencies and the internet made it easier. The issue will be on how disciplined you could be.

2985  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 14, 2020, 05:05:53 PM
its the best decision i made in pandemic ,cos of pandemic we all got dip ,so i full my bags with good coins like btc ,eth ,xrp ,and bnb and in just 41 days my portfolio become double
Good for you then.
Mostly was panic and some say it relates to the drop of stock but I don't think that way.
People just need money, in cash. There is also a panic in getting more stocks of food when the known coronavirus suddenly impaled the economy.
Small investors could have sold their coins in exchange for living in better days while in lockdown.

To OP, yes it is getting smoother now and I think there will be more newbies trying to be traders due to the fact that it can be done at home with safety against being infected by the virus.
2986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 14, 2020, 03:35:31 PM
“The Dallas Mavericks are going to be at the head of the line in pursuing Giannis. They want to have a third star. They want to keep their books clear for 2021, I wouldn’t expect them to add any major free agents this year. They’re going to wait.” Windhorst reported
https://www.thesportsrush.com/nba-news-dallas-mavericks-leading-the-way-to-sign-giannis-antetokounmpo-bucks-star-could-join-forces-with-luka-doncic/

This will really be a huge trio of indeed they get Giannis on the team, I think this will come into reality especially if Mark Cuban do made a great and tempting deal to Giannis. Any thoughts?

No way!
First, the salary cap.
By doing that, they will eat big space, and then Dallas won't have good roleplayers.

I don't see a good team with 3 stars as Miami Heat did. (LBJ, Wade, and Bosh) They did win, but they still lose. (It was Dallas which won against them.)
So, what could happen is a disaster or good chemistry.

IMO, I would consider surrounding Doncic with great roleplayers and a backup.
That way, if he is injured the play could still run for Dallas.

2987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with free withdrawal fees on: October 14, 2020, 08:16:14 AM
Damn, 7 is a good number.
Most of the listed are trusted betting sites.
Suddenly, I tried to check withdrawal fees in my Sportsbet account and I am actually amazed there is really none.
By the way, I am using Ethereum as means of betting. So it's cheap and I think they can handle it.

Anyone tested in bitcoin if it's also free? Just to be ready, I may bet on that currency someday.
Others do dynamic mode like Yolodice.
2988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 14, 2020, 04:43:29 AM
Doubting them is a good sign. You are trying to keep yourself safe from being scammed.
Newbie or Legendary, it doesn't matter. Anyone could be tempted to make a bad decision.
Higher rankings though are more careful since they don't want to waste their accounts.

Anyway, it's not always about who will manage it. Some of them are just there to keep the discipline with bounty hunters but they don't handle the coins.
Payments will still be done by the project owner or the team behind it.
What you should be looking at is how good the project is and verify their credibility.
2989  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: source of financial funds (please help me) on: October 13, 2020, 05:08:02 PM
I'm afraid I'm the subject of money laundering in this whole thing.

Of all the discussion this is just what pops into my mind.
Is the Bitcoin ATM owner really trying to abide by the law or just trying to get away with all that bitcoins they took?
That might be the question you want to ask your lawyer next.

It's a damn bitcoin ATM where mostly you don't need to disclose anything. It's a direct buy and sell machine. (most are just for purchase)
Money launderers will avoid them since they put high tx fees.
If you win this, you might want to kick back and let them pay for the waste of time they put in you.
2990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 13, 2020, 03:03:40 PM
Wit the degrading performance of DeRozan in the last two seasons with the Spurs, I doubt, Spurs will get a stars in return, maybe they could get a bunch of players but not a star level. His style of play does not fit with the spurs, or maybe he is not only happy playing with the Spurs.

We will see some news and I'm expecting one from DeRozan before the next season, I'd like to see coach Pop retiring having a success in the playoffs, as that would give more plus on his legacy in the Spurs.
Yeah, one more season entering the playoffs.
But, it may be in the bubble again.

DeRozan.
Hmmm.
I remember the Knicks management rebuilding with young players.
Maybe DeRozan could fit there to give some veteran tips to these young guys.
Playoff experience and of course he is once a star too.

I doubt Raptors will get him back and also Heat since they might just improve their players for next season.
2991  Economy / Speculation / Re: My btc price calculation theory and future of btc on: October 13, 2020, 10:37:26 AM
Lounder = Launder.

You have a great theory but also a wild one.
That's some high-class imagination you got there.   Grin
As if you are talking that bitcoin is just all about money laundering that the market will react in a snap of their finger when this called "money laundering" companies and people do something about it.

What do I think about it?
No, it's not like that.
2992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 13, 2020, 07:24:30 AM

First of all, I like to congratulate the NBA organization for organizing the bubble setup properly. Without the efforts of the whole organization, we won't see a successful resume of the season. Their setup also inspires other basketball leagues in different countries. Although the overall ratings are not that good, we all know that it's because of an "obvious reason".

For those saying that the Los Angeles Lakers have an easy path to win a championship this season, that was a big slap for those teams who aggressively fight for their respective spot during the elimination to playoffs. We saw big efforts, perseverance, and positivity on every team.

Congrats Los Angeles Lakers
Congrats Miami Heat (which I think will be one of the deadly team in the East next season if they able to maintain and improve their roster)
Congrats NBA
Congrats Bettors

And lastly, Dallas Mavericks will be the champion next season. Cheesy

Dallas Mavericks vs. Denver Nuggets next season in West.  Grin
If that happens, damn! I don't know which team I will bet for. My emotions will be in the way.

Yeah, NBA had done so much for the fans.
We are entertained right? Then, players can still have their salaries and so does the personnel behind it.
Their families will be happy it did continue.

We also saw how different it is when there is no crowd on the floor.
Perhaps it will change if everything goes back to normal. But I doubt that, for now.
2993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s next for Libra? on: October 13, 2020, 04:02:42 AM
Whatever, but the fact is what you said - that this project is not going to succeed and not even start at the first place. When Mark Suckerberg was considered a thief to have stolen the idea of Facebook from Winklevoss brothers, I don't think that this Libra project, which is meant to work by getting pegged with various national currencies and help Central authorities know our spends too frequently, is going to make any difference to our privacy needs but will only add a lot more chaos to it.

Maybe, some more good news here - https://cointelegraph.com/news/g7-will-block-libra-launch-until-regulations-in-place

Too risky to pass it.
Besides, there is USDT out there already.
Why pass another stable coin?  Grin

I once heard Libra being talked about in a radio station.
Radio announcer trying to tell publicly that it was a good project without even a single explanation.
I don't know if she is paid or not but you don't risk people money by saying it was good without a background/fact check.
That's also the last time I've heard of it until now.

2994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 12, 2020, 05:11:01 PM
Congratulations to the Lakers, they played phenomenally from the start. Deserving this victory and title, LeBron continues to break records and raise this sport to a higher level. The man was amazing almost every game while the other "stars" played well every second or third, I'm glad the Lakers are champions, I wish them luck.

I like his discipline for the game. Work ethics.
He didn't miss a playoff game. I think that is one hell of a record that is difficult to break.
His injuries are not that bad too. He continues to keep his body healthy even now.
It's just difficult to do that especially if you have lots of money already.  Grin

It just shows how he loves basketball so much. Just like Kobe and MJ. They put everything into it.
2995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi benefiting Bitcoin? on: October 12, 2020, 03:51:19 PM
You meant just like ICO pumping Ethereum and I think also Bitcoin.
IMO, yes, there is a connection.
Usage.
Instead of getting merchants, we got ICO and DeFi.  Grin
They make coins to be bought in Bitcoin and Ethereum and that helps a lot to boost circulation.
Investors buying, coins pumping. DeFi projects will sell it to continue their project, coins dumping.
Somehow it makes a healthy industry.
2996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 12, 2020, 12:08:35 PM
Bookmaker can't control the NBA, if it's rigged then it would be a conspiracy or partnership with the sportsbook, it's an easy money for them, NBA will make money in NBA games while they still make good money from giving tips to the sportsbook on which team to win, but that is too obvious, it would not happen.
It is the job of the association to investigate that case. If the association can find that and get the person behind on that rigged, that will clean the NBA association's mess. But that won't stop the other people from trying to rig the match. But yes, the NBA will make a lot of money from the match, but I don't know if the NBA is giving tips to the sports bookmaker.
There nothing to investigate if there is a conspiracy as they are like making ways to put themselves in jail.

But as an example that NBA is investigating their officials in the floor, there's one referee who got caught rigging games and was sentence for 15 months in prison for gambling scandal.

here's the story; Donaghy sentenced to 15 months in prison in gambling scandal

That's a good example.
Same goes with players if they are found to be shaving points.

They might also be into gambling but they cannot just do things that obviously tells they are controlling the basketball floor.
I am sure they will be investigated afterwards.
NBA had been more stricter now and even flops are being assessed in replays so that if proven they will pay the fine.
Actually, they should increase the fine amount to avoid it from happening again.

Quote
In the playoffs, players are fined $5,000 for their first flopping offense, $10,000 for a second, $15,000 for a third, and $30,000 for a fourth. Any player who flops five or more times could be suspended.

2997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "5 Things About ________" Project on: October 12, 2020, 08:24:11 AM
Should it be new altcoins or the old ones are also included here?
For example, Ethereum and Litecoin.

These are good projects that had been known all over the crypto industry.
If I want something to be featured it could be Litecoin first. Yeah, since Ethereum has vast supporters already unlike LTC.
What about it?
The truth.
Doesn't need hype. Just a feature will do great for it to be recognized again.
2998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: October 12, 2020, 02:36:30 AM
I speculate @Reid was brave again and bet Lakers -12 hehehehehe.
Sadly, I didn't win anything.
I put a bet on KCP with 4 3pt field goals but he missed the last one which could have given me a huge profit.  Cry
It's okay though and congratulations to all the winners.
I bet Lakers bettors are now happy winning even with -12 on the line.
They should be thankful for Howard shooting that 3.  Grin

I just hoped the Heat will go back stronger.
No one should be blamed for their loss. The Lakers team just played better, especially in defense.
Just like what I always say at the other thread. Defense wins championships. Vogel made sure of that.
2999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Streamity (STM) HODLERS! Read! on: October 11, 2020, 06:28:33 PM
I hope I am in the right section.

It may be the last minute but you still have some time.
They are swapping to Binance Blockchain so you better swap those tokens so it won't go to waste.

How to swap: https://medium.com/@streamityorg/due-to-high-fees-and-overload-of-the-ethereum-network-streamity-switches-to-the-binance-cba53e299904
Connecting Metamask to BSC: https://medium.com/@streamityorg/setup-metamask-wallet-configure-it-to-connect-to-bsc-includes-ledger-hardware-wallet-support-643538bbbce3

You can use Metamask directly to send those STM tokens to the address in the Medium article.

Good luck guys.
Sorry if it might be late.
I just swapped my token this day.
I don't know what timeline they are using so better hurry swapping it.

PS: Careful with scammers using a different address.

I like game 7 but that would cost me money, so no, no game 7.
LOL!  Grin
C'mon you will miss the game for months again. We need to stretch it as much as we can.  Roll Eyes

May the Vegas gambling lords be upon Heat bettors in game 6 Cool
And also with you.  Grin

I am going to take a nap for now because there will be a lot of screaming and clapping again later.
This may be the final game but I don't know. I have a feeling it won't be. Just a hunch.
Also, Tyler Herro exploding while they are so busy defending Robinson.  Wink
I did put a little bet for him. 5 3-pointers. It's crazy. I'm crazy.
