While I'm looking at one picture of Butler sitting and just head down with disappointment, I feel the guy. He has done his best and made the series long and he's one of the best contributor to the team. Just the last game he didn't scored that much just as his normal game play. Mad respect to this boy.
Butler really gave it his all. We can really see the determination in Game 5 when he freakingly played for 45 MINS++++. You have got to really admire that hustle. It was just surprising that Game 6 was a blow out even though Dragic was told to be Active. I guess Lakers is the better team to really want to have it so bad (FOR KOBE!). All we can do now is wait for the trades in this end of playoffs and see which team can take it to the next level. Butler brought Miami to the finals. After that it would be a miracle to won them as an individual. It was impossible for him to face Lebron and Davis as they were on their top form during the finals. Dragic was good but he is too old to carry a whole team and get the ring.

Last game was nothing to talk about, it was so obvious that Miami wasn't playing with 100% unfortunately, that happens sometimes you do not play your best game and that is understandable but the unlucky part for them is the fact that LA played with 100% and everything went according to play for them.
Not much to say that was just one game, obviously deciding the champions but still one game and that is about it. Lakers showed the world that doubting a pairing like AD and Lebron was an idiotic move, sure clippers had Kawhi and pg13 but why did the world assumed Kawhi and pg was a better duo compared to Lebron and ad? That was silly.
Next year (well this year actually) we will see Lakers finally getting the respect they deserve like Lebron said, they are going to go out there and everyone will try to beat them, let's see what Lebron will do at age 36!

All we can do now is wait for the trades in this end of playoffs and see which team can take it to the next level. There would be a change of roster but I do believe they will retain most likely into their current line up but might there would be some additions yet they had done well on this season and able to get into the finals on where everybody is least expecting. So how are you guys feeling about next years odds? I am not surprised that the Lakers sit at the top, as I'm sure Anthony Davis and much of the team will be back. I was a bit surprised to see the Golden State Warriors so low on the list. I would think if they have everyone back and healthy, they will easily be competing for the title. Regardless, it's great to have a much more even playing field back in the NBA , almost like never before ( at least any time recently ).
Was surprised that there were already odds for next years season. Its not really that surprising that Lakers would be sitting on the top specially now the current season had ended and do able to claim the peak but not to be assured that next year will be an another story yet there would surely be comebacks out of those team that haven't able to give their best shot. Im just hoping that this pandemic would end and we would go back all to normal.

There are a lot of surprises in that odds, of course Lakers will be on top. But how about the Heat though? And then Bucks? Boston and GSW? Anyways, it's too early, there's a lot of things to happen with those teams, and even if GSW is back healthy, we really don't know as they are going to somewhat reset everything again. The only thing we do hope is that this pandemic will be over, and then basketball be back with fans watching because it is so much part of basketball and any other sports for that matter.

Butler is a machine. But also make the other players of the team, or let's say the whole team that did their best and made it to the end. I won't say that any miracle has happened. They're all skilled and good players despite the opening losses that they have made. Nothing is impossible. All of them have their own training, exercises and good physique. Any of them can par with any other players in the league, it's just that LBJ and AD are also versatile and super stars.

What's surprising in that odd is the contender of the Lakers this season, I really think they still got underrated even by the next season. Well, that's just some speculation though and I do think it will make some turnaround who has the best odds for the next season. Regarding the GSW I think that's too early to predict that maybe they are still have this basis from the past season and I don't think it applies again for the upcoming one. I think Brooklyn Nets will be increasing their odds as well for the next season if only we see how healthy KD would be but I think he is and watch how their coach Steve could bring to the team. We'll see that by this January 2021 as per the rumor.

Brooklyn might have an easier journey than the GSW if ever they'll reach in the NBA Finals as the west are just full of talent.

No, what I mean was the Miami Heat "the contender of the Lakers this season". I wouldn't doubt that GSW or Nets will really have a good season they are the most anticipated team I guess for the upcoming season but still not lifting my hopes up because another injury may came that probably destroys the hype.

I'm not surprised by Golden State Warriors. But that's not that low. Unlike the other teams, they have a hard time getting up to odds like this. I think they'll come back stronger next season.. What'd you think guys?

Thanks for correcting mean, yes, you meant it was the heat, however, I'm not really surprise as there's less hype in the East, all the hype are in the West and that's what people really think, they even think Heat would advance in the NBA finals last season, but Heat proven them wrong.

Its quite unusual that the Warriors who isn't played in the playoffs for the 2019-2020 season aren't at the highest or at least at the top 3 of the favorable teams to win this season. They have a chance to get a high pick in the draft and with the return of Curry and Thompson, we can see them dominate again. Warriors fan here Regarding AD's free agency, its still complicated at this time. I read an article saying that he rejected the offer of the Lakers because he wants to play in other teams. Although this is still a rumor, there might be a chance that he will do what Kawhi did last season.

That odds will still change, when everything is settled. From free agency signing to team trades. I'm not surprised with how that website give odds to GSW. The Brooklyn Nets will be a threat to the East if 100% healthy. While the Miami Heat might not have another finals appearance next year If they won't acquire a legitimate big man to fill the center position. It seems to me that the Denver Nuggets are a much tougher opponent than the Heat.

It's better to bet this early if you are a GSW backers, that's the best odds we can get and they are still a good team to rely on to win the NBA Finals. Remember that GSW was Lebron's Kryptonite so at this point, it's wise to take them early. Lakers could win back to back but with that odds, it's not really attractive as you can still get that in the playoffs and there's a lot of things that could happen in the regular season, like injuries or sudden trade.

But I bet Lakers will get a easy season next year since provably the teams will comeback with healthy line ups so most provably they will see the real competition once the 2020-2021 season opens.

That's what everyone wants to see, last season, we don't have the warriors and the Nets which are a championship contender with their superstars playing. Also, it was a disappointing season for the LA Clippers but they'll certainly improve under a new coach. A lot of things to expect next season, if Lebron will come back in the Finals again, he would continue to make a history as expected. Heat, this team is good but with a Healthy Nets and an improved Philadelphia 76ers under coach Doc, that would be so interesting to see.

IMO, I think AD wouldn't reject Lakers' offer is that is the case. He's been talking about how he's been pushed by his teammates and that he said that he could still learn a lot of things from his teammates. I wanted to see how much more he could grow with Lebron and the team. Still, I think it could also be the case since I think people are thinking he's doing great since he's in that team with Lebron.

No doubt, this will form a championship team, the new big 3 in the NBA and since Dallas loves to play outside, they'll be more unpredictable with Giannis on them as he can drive the ball, and if he is trapped, Dallas had a lot of great shooters willing to get the ball and shoot the 3. This is only Gianni's chance if he is still aiming for a championship, he could still win the MVP next season but having an early exit in the playoffs doesn't really add up value to his legacy in NBA. He needs to make some move, sacrifice for the greater achievement.

If I will be Giannis then I think it is better to move to another team and gain some fame. Like Lebron James who had hard time in making great championship games all the way to fame and getting lot of money is to join q good team. If they will offer not good price for you to play but higher chances on winning championship then that would be a better option. We know that a player's worth wi become expensive after making some championship games and making it as an MVP. If all this could be done then he can follow what Lebron did until now earning big profit in basket.

No way! First, the salary cap. By doing that, they will eat big space, and then Dallas won't have good roleplayers. I don't see a good team with 3 stars as Miami Heat did. (LBJ, Wade, and Bosh) They did win, but they still lose. (It was Dallas which won against them.) So, what could happen is a disaster or good chemistry. IMO, I would consider surrounding Doncic with great roleplayers and a backup. That way, if he is injured the play could still run for Dallas.
