still remember few days ago iconomi hit 0.00075 on liqui, when we will see it again?  Grin

Yes we will, but it will happen after the team has made the result of the blockchain conference, the kraken market already send a signal to all of the iconomi holder to pump the price again. or every icn token will worth 0.0005 after 9 february.  Grin
I am even expecting 0.001 . I think 0.0005 per icn is very cheap price. I will never sell my ICN for this price if I don't get any urgent or emergency need.
this conference will surely  help ICN price.
the increase will be gradual and steady, as long as it improves. the 0.00043btc price now had been stable for a month now, irrespective of bitcoin price, and that looks good

I was thinking the others on the categories of participants to apply will include newbies.
2984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: February 03, 2017, 03:25:59 PM
I think there is no danger to use bitcoin. Which it is anonymously used. And here it is the beauty of bitcoin.
When your transaction is secure and untracked also there is no tax.
It's really an amazing currency. So the government can't control transactions.

Your transactions can surely be tracked. If somebody has a connection to the owner of the local wallet site that you're using or if he knows your bitcoin address, then you can surely be tracked. Even if you put your money in a mixer so you can confuse the tracker, what if the tracker has a connection to the bitcoin mixer that you used as well? Trust me, if the government wants to track you, they will. But normal bitcoin users would have a hard time tracking you when you put your money in a mixer, in a gambling site, in an altcoin exchanger site, etc. since they don't know your withdrawal address in those sites.
Most of the advantages creates a new problem but on the tracing wallets. You can have 100 wallets and i dont think it is illegal and it wont take a year to transfer it in a new wallet. but why are you so worried about being tracked, if their tracking is not in the intention to hack you, relax.
2985  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: February 03, 2017, 03:19:45 PM
In the African country where I live it is more than unknown  Grin
The government that is planing to reduce the use are also publicizing it. Ponzi scheme are doing enough to make money from it and more local marketers are increasing in the capital city. how long will they reduce the influence, it doesn't look cheap but it is available to everyone who can put money where their mouth is
2986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Matchpool - Making Human Connections on: January 31, 2017, 11:03:05 PM
The idea behind the project is not new. I don't know why the project require that much staff. I hope they won't all be involved actively
2987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero under scrutiny of the FBI on: January 31, 2017, 10:53:21 PM
if the transactions are not connected to child porn, arm's dealership and drugs. There are nothing to worry about.

+ gambling ?
Gambling can't be that grevious. This is what can happen when the anonymity of a coin is more advertised. If FBI find it unsafe it might come under attack by the NSA
2988  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it worth buying now from BitcoinATM? on: January 26, 2017, 12:30:19 PM
I saw reddit page complained of transaction fee of up to 18%. The price is too much
2989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: January 23, 2017, 07:16:14 PM
I am a coinbase user about 2years past.Still now ,i am using coinbase wallet. i have store my coin in online wallet. When i earn Bitcoin,i sold them for local curency and sometimes i take recherge from online using my coin. Now a day's i am thinking about store my coin.Because i wanted to be Bitcoin trader.Desktop or hardware wallet are best for stored bitcoin i heared it by this forum member. But i have no idea about those wallet. But i will learn quickly using those wallet. those wallet are fully safe and secured.

I tried few desktop wallets, Electrum seemed pretty much best and easiest to use, very friendly, and maybe somewhat basic userface. For hardware wallet I only tried Ledger HW1, I was also new at this, but with little help from internet you'll learn it really fast. I think there is official video on their website, and also you get manual when you order it.
If you gonna use bitcoin for trading I dont see problem in keeping some small amount on exchange.
to me i personally stores my bitcoin in online wallets, according to some people online wallets are risky and there are more chance that your wallet will be hacked and your bitcoin will be stolen.

Online wallet is best for small amouny of money and for a huge transaction. I am using online wallet because i have to do many transaction in a day.So why online wallet is very important me.But online wallet aren't safe ans secure .Anytime hacker can attack our wallet and steal our all of money.Desktop wallet is Best for stored coin.Till now,i haven't face any problem with my online wallet.Smiley
for active internet users and traders, Online wallet and hot wallet is preferable but for investors, cold wallet is better

2991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many total wallets have been opened? on: January 23, 2017, 07:09:34 AM
We should answer your question with a question. Why do you need this information? People can thumb suck stats from sites like Blockchain.info and other centralized sites, but nobody knows how much of these wallets are just duplicates of single users. I have 100's of Bitcoin addresses with different amounts of Satoshi. Every time I experiment with a new site that requires a bitcoin address, I use a new one.

So what are you trying to determine with this question? How many users use Bitcoin or how many wallets contain Satoshi or how many active wallets there are?
You spoke my mind. What exactly does he want to do with the information. Is it just for the sake of making a post?
2992  Economy / Service Discussion / signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: January 22, 2017, 12:07:16 PM
Signature stays within this forum, with varying elites of long year experience of blockchain technology while the world of the social media exposes projects to richer world of people who also looking for what to invest on. However, have not managed any campaign at both platform but like to know, to what advantage has signature campaign taken over social media or vice versa in recent campaigns.
2993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if price would be stable for years? on: January 22, 2017, 11:35:39 AM
I dont know of any currency that have a stable value, they all react against the demand and economic influence. If u want to wait for such with bitcoin, am afraid you will wait for a long years. The volatile value of bitcoin is the reason I check the Internet every morning.
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Recommend me a good altcoin signature campaign on: October 27, 2016, 04:18:46 AM
Bitcoin campaign is on more value than other altcoin campaign but newbie are not mostly allowed to prevent spamming of post.it is believed it takes time to make good post except for those with multiple Acct. Without doubt u will c a newbie post looking legendary bcos of the understanding of the forum. Get to stay around more on the forum, read more and contribute active you will notice it doesn't take  time to increase in rank most especially at the beginning.
2995  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: October 22, 2016, 05:23:11 PM
Who in the world controls the bitcoin? I don't understand where it appeared and how it began to be one of the official currencies?
Who controls the course of Bitcoin?
no one can control bitcoin except he'd owning 70% of  bitcoin, and bitcoin is decentralized, when bitcoin started to be announced the price is around $1-$5 if i'm not mistaken, and bitcoin growing up until now

you are correct the price was $1 and above when it started even one story of pizza man is also their, in the mid the price touched $1000 then it came down back to old price and now it is going steadily towards upward, and it a digital online currency, the price is now mostly manipulated by big players who are holding high bitcoin and playing with it.
There are nodes that control the level of security of theblockchain . I learnt they are scattered across the globe. Big spender are now investing into the currency now and like earlier saidcontrol the price.
2996  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: October 08, 2016, 08:03:12 AM
My first post on this forum came this late even with concurrent advice on the benefit of being part of the exchange from a friend. In my country where 70% are farmer. Hard income earner, the advent of blockchain through bitcoin was far from them. Anyone older than 50 years fine it hard to learn about the mobile technology, and more so bitcoin which was introduced not up to 10 years. I hope I learn more from this forum and enjoy every benefit of being part of it. besides, does the forum promise me friends?
