2981  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [PRE-SALE] RC 2022 coins - Gold, gilded and silver on: March 27, 2022, 10:56:28 AM
Hmmm - It seems pricing is an issue for raritycheck. I just went through the 2021 thread
and noticed 2stouts comment...

Received these from raritycheck and again, they were fine with escrow and also shipped promptly.  I must say, raritycheck has solicited and been open to suggestions and feedback and has listened to the community by lowering prices, laminating the COA's, having mj host coins, etc.  My experience with raritycheck has been great thus far- Thanks for the new products!  Below are some pics:

I get that there are costs involved in material and production and obviously being able
to make some profit from the venture too but you have to have your pricing set at the time of
launch.

I like the designs though.

For me having the holograms numbered is ok, they are tamper proof so its more of an
incentive NOT to peel (kind of)
2982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union | League // Super |Sixes|Sevens | Pro14 | Cups & Tours | Olympics. on: March 27, 2022, 09:46:20 AM
Yea it looks like last years top 6 are taking their places in this years top six, ok its early days though.

Thats was some comeback by the Raiders from 22-4 down at the break, they must have got extra
Jaffa Cakes and a serious shot of belief.

A recap on my bets for round 3, I'm 3 from six but with only one team "The Penrith Panthers",
they have saved my bacon this round, I'm actually slightly up on the NRL R3>

Rugby League

I made my first 2 Rugby bets on Rollbit as follows

Melbourne Storm - Parramatta Eels      Money Line   Melbourne Storm @ 1.30   Taken Amount: 0.073 mBTC

Penrith Panthers - Newcastle Knights      Money Line   Penrith Panthers @ 1.19   Taken Amount: 0.073 mBTC   Possible Payout: 0.087 mBTC[color]

snip

Rugby Union League

I have two more bets on the NRL for round 3

St George/Illawarra Dragons - Cronulla Sharks   Money Line   St George/Illawarra Dragons @ 2.24   Taken Amount: $2

This is on Rollbit with slightly better odds!

snip

Second bet is on Nitrogensports

South Sydney Rabbitohs - Sydney Roosters   Money Line   Sydney Roosters @ 1.58   Taken Amount: 0.06 mBTC

^
And according to that match preview it was going to be close.....not

With 20/20 vision I read this article > https://leagueunlimited.com/live-update/show/3118/19653

snip]

I put another bet on The Panthers to offset that loss a bit, On Rollbit they are now
1.4 to win, again with my small bets I put $2.50 on.

And on Nitrogensports they are 1.36 so I put another 0.06mBTC to take 0.08mBTC

2983  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 27, 2022, 08:46:44 AM
Thank you very much for sharing information about this casino. I've thought about whether I should play on Rollbit or not for a long time, and I think I should play at least a week on this site!
And you won't regret your decision of playing on Rollbit due to lots of games available with user friendly interface and quite lof of benefits to players as well.Just check the site as you could see there are lot of things like the latest NFT launch from them.If you like sports betting then also it's right casino choice for you because they have developed sportsbook which you could find on the site.So just play.

Also in regards to the Sportsbook, what I have found is that they offer slightly better
odds than 2 other platforms I compared on some games. Its not massive but its nice that
they offer a slight advantage to playing.
2984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which sports are you placing bets on? on: March 27, 2022, 08:26:07 AM
Lol, how he was able to bet on that game if he really doesn't have any idea, maybe someone just guiding him or giving him some signals to bet on?
Yup, that's how it is for a lot of gamblers as there are people giving out free tips and reasoning on why they should bet on certain teams, and just by following these tipsters, you'll start to get the hang of the sports and the teams of a certain league.

snip
snip

That happens a lot here, particularly in Horse Racing, people get "Tips" which
originate from god knows where and others bet on a name they like buy know
nothing about the sport.

Personally I bet on and follow as much as possible Tennis and Rugby. Last year I
tried betting on a sport I know nothing about - Handball.

My strategy was to basically check a teams world ranking and their run of form, I
think I actually made some Satoshi's at it, but its only Tennis and Rugby now.
2985  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Rollbit.com | Signature Campaign | Full Members+ ~ Earn up to $80/Week! on: March 27, 2022, 12:27:56 AM
Round 52 Payments have been sent out!

Thank you all for ONE YEAR! Crazy how fast time flies and just like that we hit a milestone not many campaigns do. It's been my pleasure and hopefully we can make it one more year Smiley

No new positions have opened up.

Happy Birthday to Rollbit and the Signature Campaign. I genuinely feel privileged
to have been part of it since week 1.

Looking forward to the new signature designs !

Well done Hhampuz, Rollbit and everyone involved.
2986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 26, 2022, 04:41:09 PM
Anyone noticing Nick Kyrgios at Miami?

He seems to be on a bit of a stormer, he beat Rublev in his round of 64, Final score
3-6, 0-6, thats remarkable! He beat Mannarino in the round of 128 in straight sets
and faces Fognini tomorrow in the round of 32.

Has he knuckled down and taking the matches MORE seriously or is this normal?
2987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Carrot Courses: Earn bitcoin while learning about Bitcoin on: March 26, 2022, 03:12:18 PM
This is a very good initiative. It should be something we remember when introducing
new people we meet to Bitcoin, its a nice incentive to earn while learning eventhough I
imagine its small amounts.

The website is minimal, I was hoping to find out who is behind this eventhough I
probably wouldnt know them but more importantly whats in it for Carrot?

2988  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tell people about bitcoin but don't force them to invest on: March 26, 2022, 12:31:58 PM
Thats a reasonable thing to do particularly with people you know well and obviously
with family members. The trick is to be able to explain what Bitcoin is in an easy
to understand manner and of course what Bitcoin can offer in this current economic
climate where inflation is increasing globally.

We all know that Bitcoin is generally a long game or long term investment however
many ordinary working class people are unable to consider the benefits of Bitcoin
coupled with a long term investment. They would be more inclined to bank on the
traditional FIAT structures of Mortgages and pensions.

All we can do is spread the word and let those people investigate further if they
want to do so.

Just wanted to give a heads up for anyone who has not yet come across this Economist magazine, 'Down the Rabbit Hole'

Right now they are at $500ish

Oh oh oh thats a massive price, Its a great price guide for people who have them but
will they sell at that price though?

I saw one on ebay I think last month for around $15.

There are other magazines on ebay with big prices which have been listed for the last
6 months and maybe longer, they aint selling.

Magazines like Bitcoin #1 from $1500 to $9999.99!

2990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union | League // Super |Sixes|Sevens | Pro14 | Cups & Tours | Olympics. on: March 26, 2022, 09:15:49 AM
Rugby Union

Round 14 of the United Rugby Championship kicked off yesterday. Munster Ireland
beat Benetton Italy to go into 3rd behind fellow Irish teams Leinster and Ulster
who have to play today. I have small bets on both on Rollbit. Ulster in particular have
a tough game away to the DHL Stormers South Africa so are not favourites

There are only 4 rounds left before the QF, SF and Grand Final and those 3 Irish sides
could all be in the running for the title.

Rugby League

So in the NRL it looks like The Rabbitohs and The Eels have turned the tide and
are back to winning ways. I did ask the question in a previous post and that
was answered this round
2991  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 25, 2022, 11:43:29 PM
Before the Russian invasion of Ukraine I would have thought this year and next
were going to be Bear years but because of the interest in Bitcoin by Russia all of a
sudden a Bear year is looking a little less likely IMO.

Russia is looking to side step the sanctions imposed on it by using Bitcoin so damand
SHOULD increase which MAY contribute to a bull run

Its clear from this years Six Nations that they are targeting next years World Cup
particularly when its on home soil.

We got this year what everyone was expecting for many years past and over the
last number of years the focus for French Rugby seems to have been the club performance.

We have to give it to them, they are exciting to watch, the French Flair is back!

There is talk here in Ireland of the incoming world cup, we have been at the #1 spot for a
while in the past but when it comes to World Cups we are the #1 under acheivers but this
time is different, we have a coach Andy Farrell who has brought something new, he has
given the players license to be creative outside the set piece plays. A big worrying point
is the Johnny Sexton issue, he is coming to the end of his career and we dont have a worthy
replacement. Every other position is well subscribed for sure.

Recording their sixth win from seven previous clashes against the joint venture,
the Sharks were a class above their rivals, scoring six tries to two, in the opening match of the

2994  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you share your key to your family? on: March 24, 2022, 02:22:13 PM
Yes, I have shared my keys with my family but not the keys to my main wallet, so I will give them later when they open my will when I am dead.

Are the private keys in your will?
Who has access to that will?

If anyone else has access to that will thats a compromise in security. I would like
to know how exactly you went about this?

I have a copy of my Brothers private keys and likewise he has mine. It is a matter of
trust which should normally lie within a family.

The other side is when you pass away the biggest gift you can give to the community
and the Bitcoin network is to leave the coins unclaimed, as Satoshi did.
2995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 24, 2022, 02:09:51 PM

Jeez, I've been sleeping under a rock I guess. I just heard that Barty retired - seems like a weird choice at first glance. She could have cruise controlled to like 30 mil $ extra prize money in the next 5 years or so - but maybe she decided she's got enough money already.

The article I read mentioned a couple of other names that I didn't recognise, also GS winners. The only one I remember myself was Hingis as I mentioned above, IIRC was No.1 also at the time but Barty's probably the most accomplished being #1 for over 2 years. Apparently, she was damned good at cricket, and has a handicap at golf, which her partner's active in. Some kind of sports prodigy or something!

Her story should give hopes to the likes of Osaka -- also took a long break in her teens and then came back strong.

P.S. Lost your passion for your job? There's such a thing as passion for job? haha

I wonder if the likes of Osaka and the top 10 on the womens side will be
more driven now that Barty is out of the picture.....hmm it probably doesnt matter really.

Osaka is playing Kerber next, Rollbit have Osaka as favoirite @ 1.37 which is probably
right and they are giving Kerber +7.5 handicap @ 1.13, I've taken both. This might be a nice
double bet on one match.
2996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union | League // Super |Sixes|Sevens | Pro14 | Cups & Tours | Olympics. on: March 24, 2022, 07:46:33 AM
Rugby Union League

I have two more bets on the NRL for round 3

St George/Illawarra Dragons - Cronulla Sharks   Money Line   St George/Illawarra Dragons @ 2.24   Taken Amount: $2   Possible Payout: $4.48

This is on Rollbit with slightly better odds!

Its going to be a close one between these two and its not something I normally fancy.
I searched for some preview of the game and came across this one >
https://leagueunlimited.com/news/37007-dragons-v-sharks-preview/
Quote
My tip: This is a genuine toss of the coin. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go either way,
but I am leaning towards the Dragons in their first home game. The Sharks were up for their
first game at Pointsbet Stadium since 2019 last round and I expect a slight letdown
game from them following that. The Dragons on the other hand will be keen for redemption
after coming oh so close against the Panthers last week. Dragons by 4.

So with Timelord backing The Dragons and this preview I'm doing the Dragons.

Second bet is on Nitrogensports

South Sydney Rabbitohs - Sydney Roosters   Money Line   Sydney Roosters @ 1.58   Taken Amount: 0.06 mBTC   Possible Payout: 0.09 mBTC
2997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 23, 2022, 09:34:09 PM
I also have to say about Barty... it's not the first time a tennis player has done this. And she was picking and choosing her tournaments before this anyway.

I think the authorities have to take a look at the tour, it's just ridiculous now, men and women. The calendar has so many tournaments crammed in, to make some $$$, but for the players it's basically a full year of relentless tennis, moving around the world from week to week, with the only respite a couple of weeks off over Christmas... which no doubt gets cut short anyway as pre-season training needs to start ahead of the January events. It's crazy.

Not sure how much this feeds into the Barty decision, but it has to play a part. Probably also with some of the mental health issues we've had, Osaka etc.

The thing is though that they dont have to play them all, certainly not the top
players if it about earning a living.

If its about points and growing a ranking then yes its essential to play as
many tournaments as possible. It is demanding sport with the global travels and
Barty did say before that it didnt make her happy to be away from home for
too long, I'm sure this is the case for a lot of players.
2998  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Sol Noctis - Large quantity on ebay, interesting opportunity? Under $40 each! on: March 23, 2022, 06:44:36 PM
I saw those or similar on Aliexpress, there are so much to choose from I got
information overload and didnt take my search further.

The holograms you ordered, are they 'tamper proof' or 'tamper evident'?
I didnt see it on the description of the listing but I might have missed it.
2999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union | League // Super |Sixes|Sevens | Pro14 | Cups & Tours | Olympics. on: March 23, 2022, 07:35:14 AM

The Womens Six Nations gets under way this weekend, unfortunately neither
Nitrogensports, Sportsbet or Rollbit are providing books on this tournament.
Whatever about Rollbit now listing it as they are new to sports betting I'm
surprised that the other 2 dont list it.

3000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 23, 2022, 06:59:40 AM
Barty: wow thats big news, didnt see that coming either.

She has probably achieved her personal goals in Tennis and at such a young age
of 25. She said in the article she wants to move on to other things which no doubt
she will excell at.

Nadal: how in hell did he get a cracked rib? its hardly from pure exertion and force
from playing Tennis?
Thats unfortunate for him specially when he would have been targeting RG and
using the tournaments on the lead in to prepare.
