301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The thing that will destroy Bitcoin. on: February 10, 2016, 11:44:25 AM
Guess the blockchain size and its performance would be key. But i dont know what it is but im still confident with Bitcoin.
302  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2016, 11:43:19 AM
I have my bitcoins for a long term investment.
I think the bitcoin will rise soon or later.
Also got bitcoins because its a very nice currency.

Same here. Just put myself in the scenario how things was some couple of years ago. Where now we are like wishing we could have purchased BTCs years back and earned a profit. Guess that's me right now.
303  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would society be without the internet? on: February 10, 2016, 11:41:36 AM
I cant really imagine this lol.

Honestly though, where would I be without endless entertainment, or free information on blogs and other priceless things. Yeah, its hard to see a world without internet, it would be all back with the printing press to get news etc.

Same here. Trying to figure out my answer to this question but yea I believe I'm absolutely blanked out. Guess without internet, things would be more manual and people would be more productive? That would be my guess.
304  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This Prank Proved That Americans Don’t Read Past Headlines on: February 10, 2016, 11:32:21 AM
People now have less time to read and in fact they don't want read..when is news they look only on internet main headlines without click on link to read all article..not to mention books..with fb and other networks simply people are nervous and don't have patience to read

People nowadays especially on the social media are just basically scheming through the content and reading practically what they just want to read. This is very unfortunate. Children and the next generation won't be able to stand chapters and chapters of books now.
305  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: February 10, 2016, 09:38:53 AM
To be honest with you, look at the history of American Presidents and their governments, what good has anyone ever done? They are all the same, all running this ratrace just for popularity and power. But I support Hillary Clinton.
If any presidential candidate wanted to gain peoples trust, they should have gained it long beforehand by doing good humanitarian work unconditionally. This way, Hillary Clinton is trustworthy in my perspective.

But I believe Hilary is no different from Bush or Obama, these 3 love wars and interfering in other countries by putting their own countries safety at risk. So, I not ready to trust Hillary Clinton this time.

I guess we can never really know until we try. But are we seriously considering Trump? No i dont think so.
306  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drugs fuck you up, man on: February 10, 2016, 09:37:42 AM
I guess the drug addiction problem is a social problem much like the alochol is. Society should treat very much the same way.

I agree.. While it seems that there have been a lot of advocacy groups who are trying to raise awareness. I believe this is where we still are lacking. Media information dissemination. Family involvement and awareness.

Drugs and alcohol simply are what they resort to. But it's not the actual problem.
307  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Homosexuality is caused by being molested on: February 10, 2016, 09:33:40 AM
I beg to differ. I've known kids who seem to be gay, but weren't victims of any abuse or anything the same. There should be a lot of factor. Media, environment and the natural personality of a person i guess are some of the important factors there are.

I even heard from a certain study how every one of us has their own orientation - meaning, we all just basically vary at which place in the 'spectrum' we are. But you know what, this is one very diverse topic to begin with. I won't be surprised if they are still trying to do some serious research on the matter.
308  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: February 10, 2016, 09:27:20 AM
Islam hates all people who are different religion of their. They want all people to be muslims and respect sharia and muslim law. Now radical islamic hate muslim people who don't think like them, and say that all people who don't think like they are not muslims and should be killed

If I might suggest a parallel, just for discussion purposes.

Muslims do seem to hate pork.  But the Koran does not say "hate pork," it simply says not to eat it.

Somehow in the cultural practice of Islam, pork is elevated to hateable.  A simple "do/do not" edict from the Old Book is transformed into an emotional hot button.

It would seem many other things are also.

Right, my very thoughts exactly. It's actually the impression we give to every statement, may it be very religious or not, is what actually determines any motivation. Each should be responsible to question for themselves every belief and ideation they are being imposed with.
309  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: February 10, 2016, 09:24:15 AM
Maybe some of them have gone through some worst experience with muslims and I don't see everyone hating Islam as I am surrounded with many muslims but they have respect for their and others religions too.

yeah, and maybe about the news they heard about muslims, that is why there are people who associate terrorist with muslims,

Very true. It's how the media endorses Islam. Nowadays when you see people wearing turbans, it's almost automatic for you to associate them with a negative vibe almost anxious and threatened feel.
310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MADE IN CHINA on: February 10, 2016, 09:22:38 AM
with the kind of population they have ,countries like china, india, bangladesh and pakistan have very cheap labour compared to the rest of the world  Grin is an appealing thing for big companies so that they can reap good returns .

Yea, and that is why everything nowadays has made in China on it. Cause it's a lot cheaper working with China and their manual laboring factories than to work with machineries and automated equipments. Even the prime ones like Apple and their iPhones etc, i believe now are being assembled in China.
311  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: February 10, 2016, 09:20:15 AM
all governments want people that can control. And with daily life you slowly become a slave. Thinking about loan, mortgage for house, job..you think only local and don't have time or are to tired t think on other like what is happening around you..

Absolutely right. It really isn't gun control. It is attempted people control.

Smiley

Yea, I have to say.. First it's this advocacy platforms, raising awareness etc. And then they will use that against people. And before you know it, you have been restricted of every free decision you want to work with.

But yea, gun control can work out. This, i actually believe.
312  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to Defeat ISIS and the hate. on: February 10, 2016, 09:15:00 AM
Guess people among all nations especially those who are being terrorized by ISIS ought not to merit them the hate they are soliciting.

This is practically their primary goal. To spread fear and terror among everyone. That is so it would be much easier for them to penetrate deeper into the system and get what they want.

So there is no difference between terrorists in middle eastern countries hiding behind women, children, schools, mosques and such; and terrorists hiding behind refugees in Europe?

I have to say yes. However different terrorist organization they are - they still share one common goal. And that is to instill fear among nations. Basically for their own self profit.
313  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam the Cancer on: February 10, 2016, 09:12:46 AM
Why Europeans must accept millions of immigrants?
This is great economic and demographic problem for Europe!
You must find lots of job and homes for those people..
Why? They have Saudi Arabia and Turkey arabic and islamist countries..

I heard this the way things would be if Europe people will keep on progressing their mentality against procreation, having family and kids and what not. This "liberated" and "free" mindset will keep Europe population from growing - while Muslim people will not.
314  Economy / Lending / Re: Short term loan on: February 09, 2016, 03:28:12 PM
If you dont have any collateral to offer for you loan request then better lock this thread or else you will get a lot of negative feedback for asking a loan without a colateral

Yea, you can't be serious about this. Noone will take this seriously as well. Post an idea of the colateral first so they can know what are they getting into.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: February 09, 2016, 03:27:04 PM
You do not need to be heard in a panic. I think you rather can be happy with this value.
The value is in fact now very low and I think later it's going to be worth more, but then I later see.

Give me cheap Bitcoin.......  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

never mind panic selling at what price will we be panic buying....lol  below $200 would be nice to see again.

Yea, just be calm and get your head straight first. No reason to panic, not at all.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin issue on: February 09, 2016, 03:25:39 PM
This is an issue, because volatility is a contributing factor for hoarding. If you know something will be more valuable in the short term, you tend to hold

on to it, until you get the better price. If I think the Bitcoin price is going to double within the next few months or within a year, and I can get 100%

back on my investment, I will hoard until that happens. A lot of people hoard, simply because they bought at a higher price than what the price is

currently.

I figured there would be no harm in here. I dont actually believe its value will shoot up. But what i do believe is that if not sooner, BTC will surely grow its value.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 (within a month?) on: February 09, 2016, 03:23:57 PM
I honestly do not think it's going to grow so fast. I think in fact it's going to grow, but I personally think not so fast. It grows little by little.
I think at the end of the year you get that price.

Yea, my same thoughts exactly. It's not growing drastically all the way up to 1200.. And im not saying that that can not happen. Guess all im saying is everyone who wants to be successful with BTCs ought to manage their expectations properly.
318  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: February 09, 2016, 03:20:21 PM
No one controls bitcoins, that is what i like about bitcoins that is it's decentralized nature.
If anyone really controls it than i think they are the Chinese miners which have a great influence on bitcoins.

True that. Noone actually 'controls' Bitcoin. Same goes with any other currency out there you know.

At first I thought this thread was about something else...  Cheesy

Hahahaha! Same here!

But this is such a horror story - losing 8BTCs. Anyhow, you're still here. Everything will work out don't worry.
