Yes, this is true, but this is not the main problem. The problem is the lack of transparency. It doesn't help out to own a piece of something that you can't get information about. There are BIG questions unanswered, like: How the hack occured?

And promoting something that you don't trust, for your own benefit, is morally wrong. If we don't know how the hack occured, we don't know that it will not happen again.

So, until we have the full story about this "hack", I maintain my position of not trusting Bitfinex.

      I was a big supporter of Bitfinex and I personaly brought 30+ users to the exchange through my thread in a local board, where I explained and answer questions about how the exchange work, how you can short BTC, open and close positions, borrow money, etc, etc... It is true that the referral bonus was nice too, but I honestly belived in this exchange.

      The first sign for me that thing are not as they appear to be (to be more precise, I first started to think that if they make a mystake, they will not take responsability for it, but try to blame anyone else), was when they messed up the code and a lot of users lost a lot of money because the server was lagging and when trying to close a position (by pressing the close button), what the exchange did, was to open and close the same position multiple times. They caled this "order stacking" and blamed the user for pressing the close button multiple times. In that moment I withdrew most of my funds and warn everyone to be very carefully with Bitfinex.

      Now, I advise everyone to stay away from Bitfinex. I'm sorry for everyone that lost money because of the so called "hack".

No they don't. It is impossible to recover a yahoo account by contacting customer support (from my own experience).

For the moment it seems that Spectrocoin had stolen from his client and have no intention of paying him back. I have left negative thrust rating and I will remove it after the situation is sorted out. Until then I advise every client of Spectrocoin that it is possible to end up in the same situation as the OP.

If there is fraudulent activity give him his money and terminate his account, don't steal it.

Exactly, I trade to grow my btc. If I need fiat, I widraw BTC and use other exchange services. Bitfinex is offering Bank Wire (min 100$) for deposits and widrawals of fiat.

Regarding, your second question, I really can't remember when I was asked for my ID (or any other documents), because I register way back in 2013... I think much had changed from then. Sorry I can't help you with this.

I'm a trader on bitfinex for a long time so I can tell you that like every other online service (regarding btc) they have their ups and downs. In general, it is a reliable exchange and trading engine, with no major problems so far. They have some times when the site is down but, in general, this is anounced in advanced. For most of times, the withdrawal are instant (I mean a few minutes), but they had a time when withdrawals took several hours. They guarantee a 12 hours widrawal (it had never happend to me that a widrawal take more that a few minutes) but this when they need to manually verify your widrawal (if it is a very large sum of money).

De acord cu tine. Daca vrei sa vinzi repede, fara sa astepti si fara sa platesti comisioane la exchange, poti vinde mai ieftin. Totodata, altii cer mai mult pe BTC exact pe acelasi principiu. De obicei este mai intalnita a doua situatie (se percepe un premium de la cumparator) decat prima (pe care o expui tu).


Si oricum, asta este doar teorie... si din cate vezi tu, nu prea se aplica si in practica, drept urmare, dupa cum tu ai spus, ai avut fix 0 vanzatori dispusi sa'ti vanda cu mai putin decat face.


Gresesti cu doar doua variante, exista si a treia in care vanzatorul si cumparatorul se inteleg la pretul preev si evita comisioanele de pe exchange, iesind amandoi castigati. Am destule tranzactii facute pe forum si daca o sa te uiti la istoricul meu o sa vezi ca toate tranzactiile le'am facut la pretul preev si nu am dus niciodata lipsa nici de vanzatori nici de cumparatori.



Este bine totusi sa avem cat mai multe alternative atat la vanzare cat si la cumparare pentru ca fiecare este liber sa ceara sau sa ofere ce pret vrea. Succes!

Pai asta pentru ca vrei sa oferi mai putin decat face. De ce ti'ar vinde tie cineva cu mai putin? Daca cineva pune anunt ca vinde 1 BTC dar mai scump cu 20 de euro, tu ai cumpara de la el cand poti cumpara de pe exchange mai ieftin?

Este dreptul tau sa oferi cat vrei, dar si dreptul cumparatorului sa ceara cat vrea... pretul la care se desfasoara trazactiile este de obicei pretul de piata (adica preev.com sau indexul coindesk... sau altele dar foarte foarte apropiate).
