301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: February 15, 2018, 10:51:18 PM
What will happen if people just stop buying bitcoin? Will bitcoin be as usable as now Or will it be a step towards the end?

How will the market value react to it, people wanting to sell bitcoin but there is no one to buy.
If people will stop buying bitcoin, there must be a big reason why, and if it happens the demand will be zero and the value will decline also till it will be zero.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a daily currency? on: February 15, 2018, 10:45:39 PM
I can’t see the posibility right now. Still it cannot replace fiat but, in online shopping maybe at the convinience of your own home and computer with no hurry and no people falling in line after you in the counter. Though there are lots of online shoppings that are paid in bitcoins still nothing beats fiat, may it be cash or credit card. The transactions are fast and no hassles.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: February 14, 2018, 04:56:34 PM
Naaaaa. Better have wisdom and leave right away than walk kilometers home afterwards but there are those dumb gamblers. They will finish up to the last penny and then borrow money from friends and bet it again and borrow to another ine and bet and end full of debts.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: February 14, 2018, 04:53:05 PM

Do you think they are talking about bitcoin in your basic ECON class?
[/quote
I think so. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is being talked about everywhere so i also believe students in economics are talking about bitcoin too but since it is not n the curriculum yet i dont think it being discussed in the class by the instructor.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: Those who have invested in bitcoin when it was 18k-20k$ on: February 13, 2018, 11:41:15 PM
I have a friend who bought bitcoin during this peak season. When the bitcoin price was 18-20k USD. Now he is sad and disappointed seeing that the current price has dropped to 50% and more and he is afraid he is going to lose all. In short he lost his hope and faith in bitcoin already. Has anyone here did the same as he did? If you did invest in that amount what did you do to your bitcoin, did you sell it or still holding it?
It is stupid to buy Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency available on the market on its all time high (it will hardly grow and expected to drop anytime) but he is more stupid if he will sell all of it right now, selling when you lose huge amount in trading or investing will not solve the problem, selling will just make it worst. If I did invest on the price range of 18-20k USD and the price falls to $8000, I would rather hold it for a long time until it recovers, I don't care how long. But he should've sell it and cut his loss when it already drops 10-15% because that's the safest way and use that money to re-buy on the dip.
I think he listened to speculations because during that time a lot of speculations were coming out that bitcoin price is going to reach 50k USD so someone who has no experience will indeed grab the opportunity with out thinking twice. But i hope this person will recover his losses.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of bitcoin on the financial stability of a country on: February 13, 2018, 11:34:21 PM
The country’s financial stability no. I dont think bitcoin Has an impact but for some indviduals yes. The country as a whole does not get profit from people’s holdings of bitcoin. Who benefit from it? The holders, and the exchanges or the channels.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: February 13, 2018, 11:27:55 PM
The government is just so closed minded and selfish. They think they are protecting their people by forbidding them to use bitcoin in all transactions and from holding, but they are not really protectng them. If they are really after the welfare of their people they will give them a chance to just be free in cryptocurrency, after all they cannot really support their people and take them out from poverty. If they dont have food to eat i doubt the government will make the effort to feed them and give them food to eat.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your crypto? on: February 13, 2018, 11:12:06 PM
I mostly mine and hodl, but my friend day trades and says I should start getting into it. What do you prefer to do and do you think there is a better route to take? I personally think it's all up to personal preference, I'm new though.
Ya. You already answered your question  Cheesy. Its all up to you. But mining is costly no? Electricity sucks so i wont prefer mining if i were you. Trading also is good but you have to be experienced in trading. If you dont know the behavior of the market then i dont think trading will be profitable. I participate in bounty campaigns and i am also paid in crypto. Sometimes bitcoin, sometimes altcoins and i need to play  them in my hands, wait for the better days (better prices). Smiley

310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Separation of Church and State on: January 31, 2018, 07:24:18 PM
THe government is incharge of national peace and order of the country and security as well. If the church create crime or havoc in the society, which is believed to be not a task of the church, then the state has to meddle. Church suppose to be promoting peace, love and unity, order and obedience not only to God but to the state as well, and if they fail to do these and do the opposite intead, then they dont deserve the claim of separation from the state. They will be called not a church but barbaric rebels.
311  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Islam kill Christians? on: January 31, 2018, 07:18:34 PM
It is very obvious that Islamic religion/ people kill many Christians all over the world. Although the Bible says, do not murder, they still practice it. What would be the reason.?
They murder not only Christians. They murder Jews and whoever they wish to murder. Yes the Bible says do not murder but they dont read and believe in the bible so it will not help. Muslims believe that when they kill their enemies, it is an act of service  to their God, so their actions are justified and they are not punished.
312  Economy / Economics / Re: If you achieve your target in crypto field then what you are going to do next? on: January 31, 2018, 07:07:25 PM
I have a different plan. If i get enough money, i mean my target amount through cryptocurrency, i will invest it in physical investment and start a new life. Though im not saying im going to leave crypto forever, maybe i will still stick to it but my first priority will be the physical one. We wouldnt know what will be the fate of crypto in the future so better think of some alternative that is more tangible.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really secure on: January 31, 2018, 07:02:28 PM
What do you mean by safe and secure? Safe as in safe for investment or not going to lost its value or safe from thieves and hackers? Though your auestion requires 2 different answers, my answer for both is no. Not secure in value. Because of it volatility, it can spike up in a moment and fluck down also in a moment. From thieves, it depends on how you store your bitcoin and which wallet do you use and how do you keep your private key.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: bloated economy on: January 31, 2018, 06:51:01 PM
I dont even know how these coins help the economy of a certain country, whether be good coins or shitcoins. All i know is the investors benefit, of course from the good coins and the ICO holder do benefit greatly and to the economy, i cannot see any help aside from certain individuals.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: January 31, 2018, 06:42:02 PM
Everything about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are just speculations. Nothing is tangible, nothing is sure. Everyone do as they please and as they think good. No one can really give a solid suggestion or hope when it comes to crypto because no one knows what will be the status tomorrow. So everyone invest at their own risk.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: happening to crytocurrency today on: January 31, 2018, 06:17:30 PM
In my point of view, since a lot of alternative cryptocurrencies are coming up right now. Some succeeding and some failing and disappearing and still another comes and another and another, we tend to not really know and sure of which crypto to trust to. Which one will make a click and which one will disappear soon. Even bitcoin price causes investors to be dismayed also.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptos are "printing money at home". it's illegal on: January 31, 2018, 06:11:16 PM
I think it sounds better to say printing money at home. Wherein we have control over the money we print unlike the Federral Reserve Bank printing money at their control and who has control over the money they print? Only the federral and us, we suffer economically because we are chained on the money they make.
318  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe January 31 2018 is end of the world? on: January 25, 2018, 09:20:18 PM
How many lunar eclipse thad happened since i was born, can’t remember anymore those moments when we go out of the house to see th moon slowly slowly taken over by another heavenly body and yet nothing happened. A lot of people seeking popularity are making predictions on the end of the world but all of them ended up laughing stock. They are so rdiculous. As to the when will be the end of the world, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven. Only God knows.
319  Other / Off-topic / Re: Holding your temper on: January 25, 2018, 09:14:28 PM
I used to have the same temper as you OP, what I did so it was lessen was I count 1-20 and concentrate on counting the numbers slowly and eventually it will subside. It works for me though or try watching the movie Anger Management and some of the tips on how to lessen your temper.

Really? But counting to 20 is not that long until the bad temper subsides. I dont think counting 1-20 will make my bad temper subside. Unless i do it repeatedly, or maybe with singing too  Cheesy. Weird. I cant even think of any song when i am angry.  Grin
