Some changes will be implemented after opening the withdrawals:

  • 3 withdrawals per 24h limit;
  • 2% fee for amounts less than 10 LTC, rounded up to 0.1 LTC;
  • Minimum amount will be 0.2 LTC.

I think that such unpopular measures able to protect us from withdrawals flooding.

Make automatic payments and flooding will be less.

good idea  Cheesy

ouch... new difficulty 15605632  Undecided

And next difficulty is at current stipulated to be about 30 mill..... http://dot-bit.org/tools/nextDifficulty.php

And it's predicted to happen in just 10 days. I got into BTC mining mid April of this year and bought new GPUs early May, hoping it wasn't too late to catch some profit. Absolutely horrific timing. With every passing day I am further assured of my stupidity. Soon, the electricity cost will outweigh the gain and I will have had enough of this shafting. At which point, gaming may resume.

Any other chumps in the same boat here?

"hoping it wasn't too late to catch some profit"
it's a joke ? Cheesy

how much have you spent on new GPUs early may ?

Not really a joke, but indeed laughable. $860 with tax and shipping. Nothing close to that is ever coming back to my pockets as a result. Was hoping to be able to satisfy a few of my friends' bitcoin appetite since sending our money to MtGox is not really an available option where I'm from. As was mentioned, it's an interesting hobby and it's been a fun ride. Besides, it's not like the GPUs are now useless. They can still be enjoyed for their designed purpose.

Go to litecoin mining if your want money back Wink wemineltc is a great pool, IRC with active members, active ADMIN

312  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: June 03, 2013, 07:10:15 PM
Is there a feature roadmap for Electrum? What's in the pipeline?

I believe the most pressing things to be done for Electrum to be widely adopted is good documentation and tutorials, and a sexier GUI. Is there any work being done on that currently?

Also, how many developers are there? I only ever see ThomasV here. Is this a one-man effort?
I would hate to see the project abandoned at some point...

Anyone can help with the Documentation and Tutorials using GitHub https://github.com/ecdsa/electrum-web

People can also join #electrum on Freenode where devs are almost always.

When some spare time for the devs is found some UI improvements will be addressed.

You can start with suggestions in this skin for the Classic GUI I'm working on http://d.pr/i/8Ge5

I like ur GUI, great job !

A direct link to the blockchain for transactions ID will be wonderful as well Smiley

Bug report v1.8: the balance column in receive tab is always hidden at start

317  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: June 02, 2013, 05:06:45 AM
version 1.8 is available (sources only)

changes:
* Menubar in classic gui
* Updated the QR Code plugin to enable offline/online wallets to transmit unsigned/signed transactions via QR code.
* Fixed bug where never-confirmed transactions prevented further spending

Can I compile a portable version from the source ?
