301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you a full time trader or just part timer? on: April 26, 2018, 08:34:47 AM

302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: The Seven Deadly Sins on: April 26, 2018, 07:01:49 AM
Gambling is part of life, but if you gamble Bitcoin means you want to take the risk it's because gambling can give you two option. Be poor or be rich. Waste your money in gambling without even thinking your needs then your done, but gambling with wise decision then your okay with it. We cannot just conclude what gamblers feel, it always depends to what we want to do. Don't gamble with shitcoins always gamble with pure one.
The fact that people think that gambling is made as a part of life away to make living, is what makes them fall to their greed, gambling shouldn't be a thing that you must do, it is something that kind you want to do when you have some extra money, it was meant as an entertainment not as job, because otherwise it will become an addiction and causes you as far as losing all your money.
Well, with the accordance to christian teaching the seven deadly sins are the cardinal sin which includes greed, pride, lust, gluttony, envy, wrath and sloth and so if we relate it to gambling then surely there is something that can link to those seven deadly sins much more on greed because gamblers will often to be greedy, and the lust of aiming more and more money or even sloth because mostly gamblers will nothing have to do just to gamble and they forget any other responsibility for their love one's.
303  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: difference between bitcoin and blockchain on: April 26, 2018, 03:05:03 AM
Bitcoin is a crypto currency which is used as a means of exchange and also a store of value,  it is called crypto because it was built in a way that it cannot be copied this was done one the blockchain,  without the blockchain there can be no decentralization of bitcoin.  Blockchain is an open ledger where transactions are being stored,  all transaction stored are distributed and decentralized. Meaning that everyone has access to be information but no one owns the information. Bitcoin is a coin built on the blockchain,  while the blockchain is like a decentralized database with no owner.

I think the difference that I can conclude is, bitcoin is a digital currency that has a limited total supply and can be in mining, roughly can be said as tokens, while for blockchain is a group that arranges the purchase of bitcoin or can be said third party, I not really know whether it is true or not but clearly both need each other.
Yes, basically bitcoin is the digital currency and blockchain is the record system like a an ordinary ledger, since bitcoin is a decentralized form of financial system the blockchain will serve as the anonymous third party that hold the record of every bitcoin or any other crypto coin transaction and the blockchain system is very secured against data manipulation.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: April 26, 2018, 01:42:36 AM
Big Banks are so nervous about Bitcoin because BTC came about to disintermediate third parties. Banks are definitely unnecessary when making transactions person to person, especially across borders.

Thats true, and I think Big Banks were afraid nkt just because they wre being threatened by the fact that Bitcoin is better than them and it was widely used by the increasing number of people nowadays I think they see this as bad to their system in which people will better take risk than to invest to them in which the interest were very small, and for me thats the thing why they hate Bitcoin, the clients were probably go here than to them.
Yes, bitcoin is now alarming and threaten banks around the world because people are now realized that crypto currecy are better than bank in many ways such as profit, hassle free transaction by not controlled by third party and sometimes security. If people are turning way into bitcoin then banks will be extincted soon because they will suffer a big lose because we know the fact that the bank mode of profit is from the money of people invested or hold by them.
305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Practice trading on: April 25, 2018, 10:16:44 PM
Hello im newbie and i dont have any experience as a trader. Can you discuss some solutions for my problem?

306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: April 25, 2018, 02:49:38 PM
certainly very happy and happy to win in the gamble for getting big profits but winning in gambling play it is just very difficult to win gambling again. because in the gambling game that is in luck of luck while playing
Therefore we are happy to win the gamble. Winning in gambling is a difficult thing, then after we win, we are happy because that's what we want. If you feel flat, bland when you win, then what are you looking for? What do you want? what are you gambling for?

Well, we already know that gambling is no assurance of winning since the only sure about gambling is to win a little and lose more, but in between of that gap from wining and losing there is a great feelings, ideas and hope that are being born and that is the desire to win and to wish more on winning in every game, so every time we win our self esteem will escalate and feel much excited for the next round, but beware not to overwhelm for it not give a good outcome nor will lose your limit and focus in gambling.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as new hope for humanity on: April 25, 2018, 01:17:57 PM
I guess you can say it like that. In my country, I have witnessed how bitcoin was able to help people, particularly those who have no jobs. Bitcoin gave them hope in earning money, legally. This is why I have high hopes for bitcoin because it continuously innovates for the betterment of all.
Yes, certainly its a new hope for humanity in dealing financial problems. Like me, before bitcoin earning was not yet a part of my life I start losing hope on things that I really want to have and happen granting that it needs money prior achieving so I let those dreams go. But when I meet bitcoin and its capability of giving good income more than my salary then my hopes are all coming back and that is because of bitcoin and I think there are more people around the world with the same visions of me regarding bitcoin.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 25, 2018, 10:02:40 AM
Just by using your phone, you could purchase almost anything. No need to withdraw on an atm. No more heavy coins on your pocket. Paying bills, and purchasing tickets without standing on a line. Very convenient and less time consuming. I know we're already using credit cards right now, but using a single currency like bitcoin world wide could really help on transaction, having less error than the normal and faster transfer and of course the security. Do you guys think this could happen in the future of bitcoin?

Those things are not impossible to happen, and most of us here are looking forward to it. If more people will know and use bitcoin, it will likely to happen in the future, and if this will continue in the crypto world, surely all transactions will be made online, without a hassle for us. Using the super highway in this field will be a lot of help to everyone.
Cashless way of transaction for goods and services is already realized by means of credit card, debit card and other electronics card that are being used to purchased online goods and even in the supermarket and gas station, therefore the full blast of it makes a cashless society and I believe it will be happen in the near future using Crypto currency as the main factors.
309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: April 23, 2018, 09:56:39 PM
Sometimes you have no tokens to trade and necessary to buy some when you want back in game. I have bought altcoins many times and always in profit, can't see anything bad on it.
Yes, people need to buy coin if they are are in crypto world and they want to do trading granting they have not paricipated in a bounty campaign, so the only way of having coin is to buy and there are ways to buy out of real money like paying from paypal, credit card or directly buy bitcoin from any stores that offering to sell bitcoin like on seven eleven.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: April 23, 2018, 08:30:58 AM
I'm not a gambler addict and I just did try playing hi-lo betting sites but I already felt all those consequences and it's really the worst feeling when you lost. I tried to recover my losses but I still lost. That feeling stayed in me for 2 weeks. It's really makes me very weak.
It made you extremely weak because you ended up deceiving yourself into the idea you are going to get lucky with your gambling and rather hit it big than you owning up to your action and accepting that the path you are about to take, is actually the path that most of the time, you are going to be losing a whole lot.

It is normal to always that kind of feelings when you are looking for so much from gambling and you should be lucky you are beginning to realize that now before it ends up too late.
Yes.For sure everybody here has already experienced great losses which will make us think that gambling can cause us too much bad impact. But no one will quit from gambling instantly,we tend to think first how to recover losses and when lucky enough,we will win the game but if it turns on the other way around, then for sure another losses will only make us more frustrated and depressed.
There is no doubt that gambling has bad impact and it will never give you happiness even if you win some times. In my society a gambler has no respect and all the people take aside from gambler because gambling is forbidden in my country and the consequences ends behind the bars. One should think about this before entering into gambling.
Ever since gambling is always treated as negative activities, but as for me gambling is just an entertainment, a source of leisure and pastimes much more that gambling today's is a normal recreational activity of the people in every corners of the world and it should be treated not more than just for fun because too much of everything will lead to addiction and the fact of gambling addiction will leads to suffer such consequences in mental and spiritual health.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: April 19, 2018, 03:51:41 PM
Such scams can be found commonly around the world. Now one incident has come to the light from Phillipines. These incidents make the community get affected. Phillipines has got large number of bitcoin users and the government too doesn't have much harder regulation. Such incidents will pave path for strong regulatory law implementation.
It unnecessary to do banning, the payment methods were using bitcoin but the schemes are almost evident in the Philippines, I don't know why many users get victimized by these couples.

Yes, banning would not help or directly eradicate the country's economic problem so government should not banned bitcoin but nor they should broaden their mind that bitcoin helps a lot of its people in gaining income out of being unemployed in a corporate company, since unemployment still not completely solve and bitcoins are the help by most of unemployed people.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: April 19, 2018, 04:04:19 AM
You can make different kind of technical analysis in trading and by that it can guide your decisions in placing your share/s while in gambling even though you can make multiple strategies that may succeed at first tries but it wouldn't last for sure, the Casinos and their system was designed for you to play always with lower chances of winning and obviously they got the highest probability to win in long term so in short you can't beat the system.

Gambling as a business is good for making a huge amount of money and profit for the owners. I experienced an addiction in gambling before and I lose a big amount of my savings in one of the Bitcoin gambling site and I really, really regret it, it was so stressful, if I can only bring back the time but what happened already happened, luckily I surpassed and decided to stop my addiction to gambling before it's too late.

I guess you have never tried to gamble and lose a big amount of your money.
Well, ever since at the time of Christ and traditionally gambling is portrayed as negative or even considered it as a sin, maybe because it always involve money and mostly if a person is addicted in gambling nothing can stop him and they will continue to gamble in better and worst situation and until such time that he will used money that not intended to gamble and gambler mostly no more time for family and prioritize gambling after all.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: The HODL strategy is not actual on: April 19, 2018, 02:45:12 AM
sometimes when you HOLD your bitcoin or other coin makes the good news at the ends, but you need to do some research first before you HOLD your coin, is it will recover in the short time or getting worst if you HOLD it, if the situation getting worst I suggest you to sell your coin little by little. because we need a backup if the price is going up again
Yes, holding is not a guarantee to gain profit and I don't believe that it is always a good strategy because every coin is volatile and unpredictable along the way and I think holding is not far away in the essence of gambling in such way that we gamble our coin waiting if it is profitable or will get lose at the end of waiting time.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is for day trading on: April 18, 2018, 08:42:00 AM
I see that people support that altcoin suits better for day trading, and not for holding. I just don't get why.

Yeah you could say that the best in day trading is through altcoins, because they are more volatile and have very high tendency to rise or drop depending on the coins.
Yes, Altcoin are mostly used by day traders because of its volatility or the frequent changes in market value, they can make easily profit as long as they are keep monitoring from time to time and in terms of value the Altcoins is not so expensive to buy and it is mostly affordable, but there are still people who have always positive in holding and hold there altcoin for a long time.

316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: April 18, 2018, 03:34:29 AM
I always feel satisfied when winning in gambling, by having that feeling I feel a bit of pride from myself. A little sad but I think almost all gamblers have the same feelings like me, then how about you? Do you want to share your story for us discussing in here.

Mostly, all gamblers ,have feel and tasted of winning, and mostly in my own experience i feel that im great ,and so luckiest person, with being so proud to my self ,that in all person now who gamble im among the best, especially when i got the jacpot prize,i fell that im an invicible and no one could beaten me,in times of gambling games, thats my emotion when i win in gambling, buts thats happen is only a memories on my previous winning when i playing  a slotch machine games.
Upon gambling its been always accompanied with tremendous feeling and excitement while playing because we always aim to win, so thinking the result while game is running will always give that exciting feeling if either we win or lose, and that is what I feel too when I play gambling.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this basically just another way to make money? on: April 17, 2018, 03:02:05 AM
My start with crypto/btc was that I invested a bit end of November last year. I had a few friends that told me about their small successes and how easy it was to just 'start'. It was indeed quite easy. I started to read and research into btc and every other relevant coin. Whitepapers, teams and such. Then I started to shift focus to the block chain, starting to get a grasp on what could be the future possibilities. I started to get real exited and invested some of my savings in a few projects with (to me) real potential. None of those projects appeared to be alive because of speculation only, mainly because they have a vision and actual plans.

So then I noticed that there are quite a few documentaries. I started to watch them all. A few from 2015, 2016 and 2017. I was disappointed to say the least. Everything was about bitcoin and the value/worth of bitcoin. It was about highs and lows, crashes and deceit. Only a few times the actual potential of the block chain was mentioned. Mostly it was about money.

Right now I am starting to feel like this is just a way to make money. Nothing more nothing less. You buy into btc or other coins and in no way are you really supporting the project, besides maybe adding to the order books at the exchanges with some minor effect until whales decided to take over. I sometimes have some sort of dishonest feeling, like the money I make through buying (and seldom) selling is somehow dirty as it comes from people that simply do less research, bail out or simply already had their take.

I started with high feelings of morality, being part of some new future where block chain would be the next internet. Right now it feels like a rat race where you have to grab as much money as possible before others take it before you or from you.

Not that I am ungrateful. I like many projects because of the team behind it that actually want to change the world. But if I look around me, it is mostly those that are in it to make money, a lot of money....and this money has to come from somewhere right (those that lose money)...

What is your take on this? Is this all a phase, part of how this game works?
Is this the only easy way to make money? not everything is said to be easy but it's definitely easier for you to make money because it's a job that will help you, I think it's some other way to earn money
Bitcoin is not just another way of making money, bitcoin showcases the skills of it's traders and the minds of the people behind it's forum. Maybe it gives us a lot of opportunity in gaining money but bitcoin can really make you realize that you are actually good at doing something that is not just all about money, something about strategy. And that is one of the many benefits of being with bitcoin. It is not just another way, but it is where you show your skills.
Yes, Bitcoins always give better and a lot of opportunity to every people who engage on bitcoin earning with the correct way of handling and the most probable goodness that it brings is its ways to make more extra money for every people who wish to be financially free.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Altcoin? on: April 13, 2018, 10:52:34 PM
Why people are still holding their altcoincoin in this volatile market?

Do they really love their altcoin?
Are they waiting for the price goes up?
What is your reason for holding?
In such a market, one can only expect, believe and hope that the market will rise from its knees to its feet. What, you think it's time to drain the coins?
People are holding Altcoin because all cryptonians have only one goal and that is to gain profit, so if we think that our coins still not gaining profit then why selling them on unprofitable way?
therefore the best way is to wait and hope for its mega pump or better to commence selling.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the use of Bitcoin increasing? on: April 12, 2018, 01:56:56 PM
I would want to say its because of blockchain (Cause my reason for initial investment was blockchain technology) It think people prefer to invest in bitcoin because it will rise and nothing else matters to them.  Embarrassed
Bitcoin is really built to be decentralized system using blockchain technology but I did not think that is the reason of continues growth of bitcoin usage, what i see is that because of bitcoin popularity of making good profit from it, then many people come buying and selling or in terms of investment and therefore there are now many people consuming bitcoin.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: April 12, 2018, 08:03:36 AM
I have personally have had my best friends leave me when my gambling habits have gotten to be excessive and have gone too far.
I have skipped work to go to the local land based casino and spent an entire paycheck in just one day.
It can ruin your relation with your wife, sister, brother, mother, father and children.
At this stage the person who is so enthralled in this addictive behavior should seek counseling before it totally engulfs your life and hurt the people that you care for most.
Cause after you are left with no one and not one cent to your name!
It is extremely difficult to come back from that.
Maybe if the person already come to the situation that he will always longing for gambling and make priorities over than his love one's then I believe that its a sign of unhealthy situation and negativity that leads to relationship destruction, because we, as a human being needs time from the people we love and love us, therefore if we lost that ability of giving time to the person of whom we love then there is a big possibility that in the end the relationship will ruin.
