301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: September 30, 2018, 11:30:34 PM
How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? There are people using very fine techniques like selling bitcoin cash in name of bitcoins using confusing websites name. How to be safe from such scams ?

try not to buy bitcoin directly so that you don't get caught in fraud. Average people like that will offer prices below the market and make people tempted to buy in them. then when they have transferred the money, they will disappear without a trace. There is still a good market, Binance, Coinbase, Bittrex is a very suitable market to buy bitcoin
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should investors trust ethereum anymore? on: September 30, 2018, 11:17:38 PM
In the past few days I've seen the price of ethereum fluctuating as a new entrant in this field. What should I do to buy or sell out need advice from a specialist or switch from eth to eos for investment I see The eos is growing ever since it overcame eth in the future

why not choose all of them, besides managing assets on both coins is also not wrong, because the potential for growth and long-term is very good. we just haven't seen EOS fluctuations, maybe if later fluctuations from EOS are worse, ETH will have potential ahead
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: September 30, 2018, 11:07:23 PM
Obviously, I need BTC to get in but it seems like everything is high right now.  Should I wait till BTC is < 2k? Or ETH < 200? I'd like to get in and start trading alt coins.  But for me to maximize my profits in USD I need to wait till BTC is at a reasonable cost.  Or do you guys see it climbing to 3k in the next couple of months?

it's best if you want to trade, don't just think about how much capital is spent, because it will also be useless if you can't make management assets, divide investment into several coins and also the analytical techniques used
304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to play fast on trading ? on: September 30, 2018, 04:37:51 PM
can you explain this description (how to play fast in trading).?
because I am still a beginner (newbie) and want to learn from your experience all.
thx  Smiley

never expect to be able to make profits quickly from trading, all these things really require patience, HODL, analysis, both fundamental and technical. long-term HOLD is better, especially if you have substantial funds
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine a world where Bitcoin will be used as a primary payment option on: September 30, 2018, 04:29:55 PM
Do you imagine this thing to happen? Everytime i think about this, I can say that being an early adopter of bitcoin is something to be proud of and something that will make you famous in the eyes of many.

If this will happen, it is not impossible for bitcoin to reach above $100,000 and an adoption from the bank might also happen. Credit cards will be offered where bitcoin or cryptocurrency were stored and be used as a payment through online shopping sounds also cool right?  Cheesy Year of 2022 looks very exciting.

I am sure, not everything that will happen will be better, there must be a dark spot where it brings some losses. for example, if it arrives, there are problems that have never before appeared. Also hoping for a bull run when bitcoin can be accepted as a payment instrument is too high expectations
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin investors more focus than altcoin investors? on: September 30, 2018, 04:27:29 PM
Hi, I'm a crypto developer doing dapps and blockchain-related software products.
I have found some interesting difference between bitcoin investors and altcoin investors.
It seems like bitcoin holders(like you guys) are more focus when discussing news and crypto-related issues.
Altcoin holders are more...how do I put this....more impatient and cannot focus on any subject for more than 3 days.
What do you think of this phenomenon?

I think they are the same, even this should be reversed, altcoin holder is the one who is more patient in holding their assets which of course most altcoin fluctuations in prices are more common than bitcoin. On the other hand, a person's mentality is different because it is a mindset of themselves, not because of the type of coin
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH break its highest record again on: September 30, 2018, 04:12:17 PM
Can ethereum break its highest record again if yes how much time it will take more

in my opinion, it depends on the condition of the price of bitcoin and also the ICO, where sales have not yet completed their tokensale. Because most ICOs choose to postpone it due to market conditions
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency October discussion on: September 30, 2018, 04:10:20 PM
I hope that this month, will welcome a strong capitalization from new investors, then the market will flourish, and you, do you think like me?

We'll see, I've also not heard the latest news about the SEC and ETF, it is likely that if there is the latest news on this matter, it could be a matter of predicting bitcoin prices this October, most likely BTC will stabilize and tend to have an uptrend
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are moving forward fund on Bitcoin. on: September 28, 2018, 11:52:44 PM
If we see last two week Bitcoin price chart than Bitcoin is bulls now. Still I believe Bitcoin are bullish run. After expose if ETF news it was run on bulls. Because investors are moving their fund on Bitcoin. That's why all alt coin is bleeding badly. ETF was good indicate for crypto. I don't know what will happen exactly. Yesterday so far we seen Bitcoin was bearish. Today again start recover slowly. Due to moving fund on Bitcoin almost alt coin become shitcoin recently. But it's true that when Bitcoin will stable all alt coin market will start recover. Because that time investor will start moving fund to alt coin trading. Let's see what going to happen.

in my opinion, the impact of transferring investor funds will not be able to give effect until the market becomes bearish. this is purely due to FUD and also accompanied by panic from some people who might just know cryptocurrency
310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading? on: September 28, 2018, 02:48:40 PM
Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading?
i hard to say when you sometimes tired from trading or have stress from ico or lose part of deposit. What you do to relax refresh youself and get inspiration for new trade. How much time you need to refresh youself for new hight.

yes indeed sometimes trading can make people stressful, because they are like being forced to look at chart changes in prices that are quite crazy. I usually refresh by opening LinkedIn and seeing some posts, usually in the form of inspirational videos, for me, it is quite calming, besides eliminating stress, it also gives me more knowledge
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When people say Bitcoin is dead, make sure to show them this... on: September 28, 2018, 02:34:17 PM
When people say Bitcoin is dead, make sure to show them this graph. What an outstanding performing asset. This is why people invest in Bitcoin, hold on to your seat belts!
 Wink
What are your thoughts for next 12 months?

this is just something that can be used enough to make their mouths shut and stop saying that bitcoin is dead.
Bitcoin charts every year always go up and this is an opportunity that should be used
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's volatility is a non-issue on: September 27, 2018, 11:31:20 PM
I know that this subject has been discussed many times before, but lest we forget when yet another conventional financial journalist, investor, money manager, perceived thought-leader et al pronounces on why Bitcoin will fail because it is too volatile to be used as a currency or store of value:

  • Each Bitcoin transaction is a zero-sum game -- one party benefits to the same extent that the other does not benefit. So one party is guaranteed always to be fine with the volatility. And neither party knows for sure (or at all) who that beneficiary will be.
  • The purchaser of a bitcoin has still spent the same amount of fiat no matter what the volatility after the purchase.
  • The premise that the aggrieved party could have done this or that instead of send someone a bitcoin that later appreciated in value has no more merit than to say that that party could have bought a stock or bond that later did well too. In each case, they simply did not have the information needed in time. Shoulda coulda woulda is not a valid argument.
  • If Bitcoin were impractical as a currency, the dark web would not use it. There would be no Bitcoin-using dark web.
  • Many things have been used as currency. Anything tradeable and of proven long-term value (like gold) or expected shorter-term value (like packs of Kent cigarettes in communist Romania) can be used as a practical currency, and have. Before WWI, travelers checks had the rate of conversion printed on them because it was expected that the gold-back currencies backing them would be stable. And so they were. The fact that fiat currencies require electronic conversion-rate signs today shows that their stability is entirely an illusion. They are not stable.

The argument that Bitcoin's volatility specifically negates its value as a store of value is clearly false as well. Stocks and commodities and their futures (as well as the effective interest rates of some bonds) are highly volatile. The mantra is that you accept their risk in exchange for growth. Fine. But volatile Bitcoin has growth potential too -- lots of growth potential. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum, as systems of decentralized, immutable, economical, sustainable, and perfectly legal data-registration means that everyone will become their own notary public. The implications for intellectual property protection are arguably beyond what we can now imagine.

Underlying all of Bitcoin's volatility is an unchanging protocol that is proven to work -- and expected to grow.

cryptocurrency tries to imitate forex, where the volatile impact is not so great, it will still be difficult because the use of crypto is still not comprehensive. so it's easy with price manipulation by several groups
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many speculators in the cryptospace? on: September 27, 2018, 11:27:10 PM
Seeing the usual conversations in this forum and in others related to the cryptocurrency issue, as well as the groups on Facebook, Telegram and others, it seems that most of those interested in this field have no other interest than making easy and fast profits.

And I think this is something that has negatively impacted the market, because it has driven the high volatility in the prices of cryptocurrencies, regardless of how serious each project is: investors are always willing to sell their tokens at the first opportunity, instead of supporting the cryptos as a technological development with long-term potential.

Do you agree with the speculation without limits?

and the problem is these speculators, it is very easy to provide negative feedback with various bad news in crypto. So they are very easy to make fishing rods that they can easily use to make the market price very volatile
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be harder to access in the future? on: September 27, 2018, 11:03:53 PM
As of now, more and more users are getting the hang of sitting by their computers all day and they get paid millions through the help of bitcoins. What they earn is more than what they had in real life which makes life convenient and easier.

On the other hand, bitcoins are really helpful and accessible to everybody or to a group of individuals and they just click and their wallets get full. But what if, sometime in the future, bitcoins become more private and unaccessible? Will that cause a problem? What could've happened to us who were engaged in it first rather than the newbies to come?

if it becomes more difficult, then the possibility that can happen is, only a handful of people can access it, while those who have difficulty will leave, interested parties are lost (sell all of their assets), and also make market volume shrink and they return to work that can be obtained at real life
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you share your trading experiences? on: September 23, 2018, 11:54:19 PM
Hello,

I was joined in crypto world almost one year ago. In this period, I am continuously learning from here and also work here. That's why I got some money and from those money I save some. Now, I want to start trading though the market situation isn't good now but I want to do this. I am also ready to take risk.

For doing that and getting inspiration, I need to know about its details. It will be good when you share your experiences.
Let's share your opinion here.
Thanks

try to be really patient, because the crypto price prediction is very difficult so if we have a target, make sure some supporting factors are met.
1. Trend market supports bull run
2. Don't use financial allocations in full
3. Buy gradually, so sometimes the price will dump for temporary even after we buy those coins
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who will benefit the most from bitcoin/cryptocurrency? on: September 23, 2018, 11:37:49 PM
I have a friend who is interested in getting into bitcoins but he does not have a lot of savings or any major investments. He also has a lot of debts to pay and has an average wage job with a family of 4 to raise. When we were talking yesterday, I thought: who really would benefit the most from investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Can those who are like my friend get into bitcoin even though he has no major investment? Or is bitcoin only for those who can afford it?

he may be able to benefit from cryptocurrencies but that also depends on what he does, do not expect for large profits in a short period of time, here is a common mistake. at least the profit is normal, but continues to be consistent
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INVEST AND DON'T HAVE REGRETS !! on: September 23, 2018, 11:22:42 PM
of course investment is not carelessly done, those who are smart must really do calculations for this, financial management, the potential of market conditions, not the origin of deposits, buying and waiting to expect prices to rise quickly
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your cryptocurrency news? on: September 23, 2018, 11:11:51 PM
Other than Bitcointalk could you recommend me your favorite sources of cryptocurrency news? I mean news sites, blogs, twitter accounts, subreddits and those kinds of places.

many references can actually be found in several telegram groups. for website, cointelegraph, cnbc.
I also usually watch some Youtube channels about crypto, they usually summarize some of the latest news.
319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Panic Trading! on: September 23, 2018, 11:07:55 PM
It has been noticeable that social media these days is exerting panic calls all around. These posts serve no real purpose except to take clicks and views while not helping the cryptocurrency community at all.
Keeping a cool head at times of bearish runs is no trick but is also far from easy. Even the best of us fell into the trap of panic responses, losing even more as a result. Keep the stress out of the trading business and invest only so much that you can afford to lose. We would also recommend small investments at the times when bitcoin and altcoins gradually lose value, since the period when they rise up will come.
Share here your "quick and dirty" techniques to keep calm while trading and experiences when you panicked so to help others recognize it as well and stop it in time!

https://www.cryptocointrade.com/education/avoid-cryptocurrency-trading-mistakes/

Financial management is vital in this matter, without financial management and analysis as a whole, our trading is more or less similar to a binary. loss is normal, but don't get used to it. don't take too long to deposit your coins for too long, especially against an altcoin that has its own period
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is Possible Ethereum Did Not Drop Due to ICO Sell Off After All on: September 23, 2018, 04:58:51 PM
https://u.today/it-is-possible-ethereum-did-not-drop-due-to-ico-sell-off-after-all

Quote
Possible it wasn’t ICOs

According to data provided by Diar, a research group that releases an in-depth weekly analysis on the global cryptocurrency market, the majority of major Blockchain projects based on Ethereum are still holding tens of millions of dollars in their Ethereum treasury.

I urge everyone to read and see if this make sense. The article says that its not the ICO's that has to blame for ETH sudden drop but the technology behind, dApps, because it didn't scale as expected giving investors false hope that's whey they dumped their ETH.

Although its also mentioned that most ICO had liquidated an average 62% of their ETH holding. So this alone has put tremendous amount of pressure on ETH that's why the price plummeted.

yes indeed, especially if the ICO later turns into a scam. This is what we must be aware of at the ICO event. really filter out ICOs that have good potential and also often check the identity of the team.

most ICOs who scam will sell all ETHs from tokensale which will certainly make a bad impact. most likely also when the ETH experienced the worst drop this month, it was also a result of several ICO projects
