In my opinion, the manipulation of tokensale progress is a marketing strategy, I guess it's aimed at attracting more persons to the project or bringing about an aura of high demand on the tokens. Atimes, people need a push to make up their mind quickly and do the needful. I agree with you that sometimes people needs to be pushed for them to quickly make up their mind. But a project should give its marketing team the highest level of their focus after development to be able to naturally pull people towards them. I see that they decided to scale their business plan down a bit and also lowered their softcap. Probably a good idea. In the end they can still extend their business once all the mining equipment is running. they have also mentioned about the reason why they were not able to hit the softcap .it is good to know that mined block is maintaining transparency and working hard to get this project done well. Yes, right now there are lot of questions needed an answer, many people are now thinking on this project because they weren't able to hit the softcap, the team must focus on updating and giving a solution to this problem, Team needs to work hard and supporters need to support it further. DCOIN must have had a reason for to do that. IEOs are expected to sell out in minutes with a lot more people willing to buy. Hopefully, WAY tokens would be sold out in few hours. Whatever reason, I guess is at the projec's interest. Although I understand that they have a very short durations for IEO but token sale is usually not as fast as anticipated. Alot of factors tend to influence it I have also not heard anything good about DCoin. Hiway team should closely watch the sale progress at DCoin. Not sure about other exchange. |

I noticed the great rating hiway was able to secure from ICOBench, this is a clear indication of the potential of the project and the possibility of the tokensale being successful is very high. One of the criteria considered by investors in choosing the right project to invest is the rating by ICO bench and others ICO rating platform, seeing Hiway tops in most ratings is commendable and shows that the project has a huge possibility to succeed. i too believe that good rating of any project has a good impact and highway has also got 4.5 plus seems project has a good future and if Project goes well they might can scale quickly. Yea, rating is good but only if it comes from a good reputable firm and not just any other site out there but its best to always do research as a person than to have faith in an ICO rating site, its of really importance to do so, most of them are just out to rip some tokens from projects, they seem to have reduced with the pestering thing, possibly because of the nature of the market We can't 100% depend on rating given by any site. At the end we need to check what type of criteria/ points they checked and if any kind of verification is done or not. Like who are in the core team, and really those people exist? I know what you mean but what is the alternative? Stopp everything right now, refund previous investors and abandon the project? That would make no sense in my opinion. Especially when it true that there are several private investors interesting in the project.
I think right now there is need for more patience for the team. Lets see what news and information they will come up with. I still believe they have a lot to do in the blockchain. I am going long term on them. People will come up with all sorts of options. But minedblock team will be taking best decision for this project. For now just wait and watch. Did they post details about what happened with Dcoin? This information would be helpful for many forthcoming projects. Trading fees on binance and okex and huobi is really high. BCNEX fees are much more lower and with a better support as BCNEX promises to provide. I for one would try BCNEX once it’s launched.
BCNEX fee seem much lower for obvious reasons. By the time the platform is full blown one would expect that their fees measure up with contemporary exchanges if not even more. It's more like a market strategy hence the need to make investment early enough. It's a wise decision to utilise the market penetration strategy to get more projects listed on the exchange and more traders to utilise the trading platform. it looks like true but i guess if this company was working to create a standard code for tokenization or at least try to help those platforms to build their own blockchain and did an audit to the any code that related to the tokenization. They mentioned few projects as part of their network. Those projects are already listed like Ontology, zilliqa, etc. Looks like team was working since long time but just decided to go with ICO. |

I'm in agreement with your opinion, it will be very difficult to differentiate between hardcap and softcap when the amount to be raised is less than a million dollars. The team was very Conservative in making their budget and estimates.
I hope they don't make decisions to increase the hardcap like one of the projects did recently. I simply don't understand the necessity of changing hardcap in middle of ICO. I don't see the team increasing their hardcap, they appear to be certain of what they want, that explains why the duration for tokensale is brief and they've already raised almost half of the hardcap on private sales. The team seems to be very thoughtful and I believe they're not greedy. It will bad if they decided to increase the hardcap. I don't think Hiway team is that greedy. Let see now soon this ICO gets sold out. |

I was going to ask that too, it already is hard enough raising $15,000,000 and it was increased x2 to $30,000,000. What is the situation of things since the increase in hardcap? Some information will be appreciated. If you check at the site, tokens sale progress shows less than 40% of the hardcap. This means it's not close to original hardcap which was 15M USD. |

Thy will be just raising 700k out of which 300k is from private sale. I think since total amount if money is not high that's why softcap is not mentioned.

The issue is that the project is taking too long to raise funds. Extending till August means that it would be taking the project over one year to raise funds which we aren't sure of raising due to the dissatisfaction of the community. I'm afraid that it will take grace of God for the project to raise its softcap considering the level of support it has from the community today.
