301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins still dropping in price on: February 23, 2018, 09:46:52 AM
Btc hasnt dropped very much more and it seems like some alts like linda, verge, and electroneum are still dropping how long will it yake for them to rise back up

it's natural that the altcoins grow and then drop little back. I don't see them really sinking in long term. Just be little patience, you should see the grow very soon as the projects you have mentioned are really solid.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when I blockchain gets too big? on: February 23, 2018, 09:45:36 AM
Take Bytecoin right now. Their blockchain is over 9 gigs to download. How big will it be in 20 or 30 years? (assuming its still around).  What solutions are going to be in place for people to download and store such a massive file?

Now pretend you have 20-30 different coins all with massive blockchains.

yes it's inconvenient but that surely can be easily sorted out. Perhaps some cloud based services for this kind of storage but with proper safety infrastructure would do.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Viberate on: February 23, 2018, 09:43:01 AM
I like the fact you already have the community ready so the project has already proven itself to some extend. Have you somewhere published the team behind the project so we can see your experience?
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: February 22, 2018, 02:29:31 PM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.

you can do both. ICOs are very different from bitcoin because the usually serve as securities although they're trying to pretend they don't. But generally speaking, bitcoin is relatively safe investment with crypto standards while ICOs involve more risks.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i am newbi so i am late or not to this field? on: February 22, 2018, 02:25:35 PM
Hi,
i am newbi so i  am late or not  to cryptocurrency field?
if train is gone? -Thank you

of course train is not gone yet. just find the right way for you to get involved and contribute. What are your skills etc? There is much you can do and profit from it. Just try something meaningful
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you guys use this in future? on: February 21, 2018, 01:28:02 PM
I'm wondering if the project can be successful with too broad focus on small favors. Perhaps it would be better to launch the platform for small electrician gigs etc... So people actually know what they're using.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scam!! on: February 21, 2018, 01:24:00 PM
there are many ways as ICOs are usually investments in very early phase of the companies, some of them have literally nothing to show for their work. Therefore some of them simply won't deliver and scam their investors.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: February 18, 2018, 11:58:47 AM
Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!

do not give up, If you still trust in projects you have invested in, don't panic sell but hodl. If you feel like the teams are not able to deliver, reinvest the funds. It's normal to be down on your investments, doesn't mean you won't have good profit in near future
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: February 18, 2018, 11:57:05 AM
guys be careful with new airdrops. Some of them are very solid projects but too many are just scam and you might end up badly. make sure to do proper resaerch first and don't expose your private keys with coins in it
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why can we not as a community boycott stocks.exchange on: February 18, 2018, 11:34:37 AM
Many people complains about stocks.exchange everyday and yet we see coins getting listed on that garbage exchange
When will we as a community stand against bad practices and garbage exchange standards?

deposits take so long, withdrawals take so long
order book is crap..buy order price will be more than sell order price for hours
making it difficult to know what is going on
a buy or sell order takes so long to fill even though current price on order shows it should have filled

it is just total mess
if you agree with my assessment of stocks.exchange and witness some or all of these issues please reply in your support
if you think otherwise(as long as you not owner of exchange) then please voice your view

lets discuss and see if we can do something
i am for stocks.exchange improving their service if they choose to do so
else we need to start avoiding to list on these exchanges that are toxic to the crypto community and ecosystem

thanks

never used them they do look really shady. It's often better to trade only on proper exchanges that have been around for a long time. If you have no other choice but to use exchange like this, then you need to be aware of related risks
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 60k$ to invest. on: February 18, 2018, 11:29:53 AM
Please dont suggest your own coin.
Im not interest in ETH and LTC and Pac, and XVG.

do your own research. First you need to understand what is it you're trying to achieve. If it's smaller risk yet lower ROI or want to go all in for smaller projects with higher roi potential
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE OR LITECOIN on: February 18, 2018, 11:28:40 AM
it's not the same thing, hard to compare then. Should I choose between the two, I would choose litecoin anytime. There are some fishy people behind the ripple, doesn't seem trustworthy to me
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: myetherwallet passoword and private key on: February 18, 2018, 11:26:00 AM
I was seeing live youtube video of Aaron St. Hilaire just now and that guy unknowingly shared his myetherwallet private key to thousand of people live  and within minute all his token was stolen from his account

I am new and just want to know ,we login to myetherwallet using password and private key .If a hacker see the private key ,how without password he can login to his myetherwallet address and stole all tokens

unlucky. Password is the way you encrypto the private key, but once you have access to private key itself, you can access the wallet anytime. Well making a video with real mew wallet is kind of like calling to get hacked

315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: February 16, 2018, 03:17:04 PM
bitcoin surely is used by criminals. Same as water and bread. As criminals also eat and drink. Thank to that they can exist. Are we going to ban drinking water for this reason? I don't think so. Same with bitcoin and other crypto.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Intense Coin Speculation on: February 16, 2018, 03:15:54 PM
Devs hold a huge amount, barely any trading volume. looks like a scam and you will lose your money.

what is the % held by team? I'm considering to invest in the project but that might be disturbing. I mean if their intentions are good, it's not a bad thing, but on the other hand, it could be problem..
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ERC20 tokens on Myetherwallet on: February 16, 2018, 03:14:05 PM
Hello all,
I have a question regarding myetherwallet.Recently I joined few airdrops based on Ethereum blockchain.I was expecting to receive coins on my MEW since 2 days. But I didn't receive a single yet. Is this because they are new coins ? Should I add custom tokens on my wallet to receive them?  don't understand how could I receive them. Are they responsible for adding coins directly to my MEW or should I do anything from my side. Can't understand this Ethereum based Coins. Some coins are showing up and I think  we can receive them freely without any hassels. But what aboout this unlisted coins on my MEW wallet.DO I need to add custom or can I receive with out adding too.How can they show up on my wallet. Please answer in detail. Thank you.

you can see whether they were received thanks to etherscan.io. If you see them in your eth address, then you only need to add custom token as per the instructions on mew website: https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/send/adding-new-token-and-sending-custom-tokens.html
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ETHERNITON (The Communicating Cryptocurrency Monetizing The Way You Communicate) [ICO} on: February 15, 2018, 12:23:32 PM
I like some of the features your project offers, however I would recommend you to narrow down the business model to something specific and more comprehensible, as I wasn't able to fully grasp what the project is about, as there seem to be too many things. Plus consider new website, these days ICOs have really cool online presence, you want to make sure to be pointing out.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STREAMITY ICO --->Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange<--- on: February 15, 2018, 12:19:08 PM
we need more decentralized exchanges, so this is a good try. However how are you going to address the issue of potential dns attack related to decentralized exchanges that happened to etherdelta?
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is Coinsmarkets.com gone? on: February 15, 2018, 12:16:49 PM
this is the first time I hear about this exchange. But please everyone be really careful with new and nontransparent exchanges as it's much easier for them just to operate for few months and disappear than running long term business. It's often a business model...
