Brentford vs Tottenham

This is debut match for Ange Postecoglou as new manager of Tottenham and this is first match too for Tottenham without Kane because we all know Kane was moved to Bayern Munich with saga transfer and Ange Postecoglou have already choose Son Heung-min as new captain so very interesting to know whether he can able to bringing Tottenham to gets the winning result today or Brentford surprisingly will be able to beat them

From total meetings records indeed Tottenham had good records from Brentford but recently Brentford has been change became an giant killer and last season even in the last 3 meetings Totteenham was unable to beat Brentford and playing as a host my prediction is Brentford will be so hard to beated by Tottenham even i was thinking without Kane possibly Tottenham will be lose today

I think Brentford has got this one. Spurs at current state are very weak and without Kane their attack unit has really taken a blow. Richarlison will have to fill the spot for Kane and should be the one on whom Spurs will rely on this match heavily. Brentford are really dangerous in counters so Spurs will have to work a lot and not make a mistake while attacking in today's game. Brentford will also be without David Raya but that doesn't changes much as Spurs without Kane.

I am siding towards Brentford win in this one.

Obviously this is a very good buy for Bayern Munich and a salary of 25 million euros per year is very commensurate with the quality that will be produced by Harry Kane. Today also Harry Kane has started training with the Bayern Munich squad. It seems that Thomas Tuchel wants to move quickly so that Harry Kane quickly adapts to the other players because tomorrow there will be the DFL Cup final between Bayern Munich and Leipzig. This is also the first title for Harry Kane if later Bayern Munich manages to beat Leipzig and we will start to see his performance in tomorrow's match.

I think it's good move for bothe Kane and Bayern. Bayern needed a striker who can score goals like Lewandowski and Kane needed a team in which he can achieve something. And now, both of them have got what they were looking for. I think it's a massive move for Bayern with a bit on expensive side but Spurs are a difficult one to negotiate with when it comes to their crucial players.

Kane is a full package. He has technicality and mindset that a striker should have. Couldn't think of much better player that Bayern could have got here if we take experience also into account.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Courtois suffered an unfortunate injury in training. It is said that he will be out of football for 1 year. Therefore, there is a possibility that Real Madrid could sign Bono or Degea. Bono had a very good performance at the World Cup. Degea spent some great years at Manchester United. Both goalkeepers are great options for Real Madrid but I think Degea has more experience than Bono. Degea played top-level games and won many titles at Manchester United. His adaptation to Real Madrid would be faster than Bono's. However, I want to reiterate that Bono is definitely a good goalkeeper and I am sure that he can also succeed at Real Madrid.
Such a big injury to Courtois is undoubtedly a big blow for Real Madrid. No matter how many goalkeepers Real Madrid look for at the moment, it is certain that they will not find a goalkeeper like Courtois. Degea or Yassine Bounou could be good replacements for Courtois but neither of them is a goalkeeper of Courtois's caliber. With the main goalkeeper injured, they must look for a substitute and Real Madrid have no choice. Yassine Bounou seems to me to be the best choice for Real Madrid goalkeeper at the moment. In the last World Cup Yassine Bounou had a great performance, on the basis of his great performance Morocco reached the semi-finals of the World Cup. Real Madrid could get good service from Yassine Bounou in Courtois' absence.

It seems Real Madrid are actively looking into Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea now. Chelsea have made David Sanchez as recent signing so it is possible that this could get done quickly. Real Madrid urgently needs a goalkeeper now and it seems Kepa is on top of the list as of now. It's not de Gea nor Yassine Bounou on the list as of now.

It could be either permanent or loan: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1690295725467324416

Arsenal wins against Nottingham with 2-1 scoreline. Good control over the match but I feel they should have scored one more goal. Gunners had plenty of chances which went wide or saved by Turner and also at the end I think Arsenal players were tired while tracking back counter with Elanga on the ball and conceded the goal.

I would say a good start by Arsenal with new PL campaign but I think Arsenal are much capable of posting even better scoreline.
I was still surprised by Martinelli's assist and immediately Nketiah fired in the shot that led to Arsenal. Then there was the spectacular goal scored by Bukayo Saka and even Kai Havertz was speechless to the point of holding his head because he was so surprised to see the goal. In the second half Arsenal struggled quite a bit and couldn't add to the number of goals and instead they were hit by a quick counter attack from Nottingham which made them concede one goal. A deserved victory for Mikel Arteta's squad at the start of the season and these 3 additional points keep Arsenal still below Manchester City with a goal difference.

Well Sala has been spectacular for us so no surprise there. He is too good with his left footer curler into the net so I can understand Kai Havertz being a bit surprised there as he is new to the team. Even last season he had lots of goals scored like that.

I think the 2:1 win for Arsenal is a good sign that they came are prepared for the new season, their passes were accurate, good and better control of the balls against their opponent Nottingham forest but Arsenal lacked the killer passes to score goals especially in the second half of the game. Yes everyone was expecting Arsenal to get a third goal in the second half due to their constant possession of the ball but funny how they couldn't scored rather Nottingham forest scored a late goal to make the game 2:1.

Good start indeed but we hope to see the gunners do better as expected because they have got more players to help them challenge Manchester City for the trophy this seaso, good to see Bukayo Saka on the scoreline this shows he's still very good with the ball but l hope to see a better him this season.

Yeah we lacked a bit of crucial passes but Forest also did a good job to keep us down till the end. I was expecting a more work rate in midfield given the formation we started the game today. I was not expecting a formation change from Arteta today but it worked for us. I sensed Odeegard work rate being slightly less with this formation so maybe it impacted the Odegaard's freedom in midfield. To me it seems like Arteta is experimenting and let's see what he does next.

I've just read the news about Harry Kane, so has England's best centre-forward decided to move on?
I thought he was going to stay another year at Tottenham but evidently he didn't want to leave on a free transfer and has at least given the spurs a good deal! It's a pity that the Premier League is just around the corner and now Tottenham need to find a suitable replacement, or have they already found him?

Yeah guess the decision has been made and it's all done between the clubs. Not entirely complete though, there is slight things missing as I last checked but yeah agreement with the bid between the club is done and seems like he is set to move to Bayern now. Reports are that it is gonna be a 4- year contract at Bayern which is a long one.

I would say good call from Kane here as he had to make the move to get some achievements under his belt. Finally he can have some trophies before he retires. Honestly he should have made a move years ago. City move would have been great as he woul have PL win under his belt.

The deal is the bidding war of the season. Chelsea had their £80M bid for Caicedo turned down earlier last week. They knew very well that Liverpool is interested in bringing Lavia to Anfield and Chelsea wanted to hijack the deal. Brighton on the other hand had announced yesterday that they wanted the deal for Caicedo to be finalized before midnight and Liverpool outbidded the blues with an offer of £110 while Chelsea £100 offer was not enough. Brighton has accepted Liverpool's offer and medical is already booked but Fabrizio Romano reported that Chelsea is not backing down until Caicedo signs the dotted lines. Maybe Chelsea still have something up their sleeves.

Chelsea has this totally if they match the bid made by Liverpool of 110m. For Chelsea, it is just matter of getting bid accepted from Brighton and rest the player talks has already been done weeks ago. For Liverpool, I think they have to wait what Chelsea are gonna do here but likely is that Chelsea are gonna push hard as they already have held down the Tyler Adams signing. A crazy drama going in deal, I must say.

Even though I am not a fan of Manchester City, I am rooting for them in this game and am confident that they will triumph. Burnley has a number of talented young players, but they are not as good as Manchester City, who are the best team in the Premier League and one of the few to win more than three trophies in a single season. Although several of Manchester City's finest players were sold, the team's performance remained strong, and I anticipate that they will continue to pursue another championship this year.
Burnley are an awkward opponent as they like to play defensively, especially at home, but I think City should be able to handle this enhanced defence. Finally the Premier League starts, it's a good day, Friday night to watch a great match. Should we expect goals from Haaland today, will he try to break his own record this season?  Smiley The odds for City's victory is small, maybe I'll wait, if the game goes to a late goal, I'll try to catch something in live.
Yeah very likely that Burnley will take kinda defensive approach and let City come onto them. But will that be enough to stop them? Well I don't think so but if City keeps on missing chances and Burnley also tightens their defence to give City no way then I think draw is possible. It will be a huge tactical task for Kompany at the start of the season and a good test for Burnley. I am sure Burnley will play their best today as it is their first game and at home and they will have to make first good impressions on their fans.

Yes,having something to say about Haaland,I think this season is going to be different,he will still win the golden boot, but I don't think he will get the number of goals he got last season. This is premier league and we know how aggressive defenders are there, the moment they see that you have been superb in your goals scoring form, they will place all their attention on you and make sure they put you on goal drought. It is true that Mancity will be demoralized by the result they got in the community Shield, and it will be a boost of moral for Arsenal that won them going into the premier league this season. The game against Burnley is going to be a win win for city, but Burnley will still give them headache and that game might end 1:2 in favour of city. While Arsenal will comfortably win theirs on Saturday against Northingham Forest.

Everyone knew what kind of a career Haaland would have at City so I think last season team were kinda well prepared for him. If that's the case then I think with Haaland adjusting to City tactics in a year, I would say he would score more goals but I don't think it's not reasonable to think that way. I would say it all depend on tactics. I would further add that this season also he would have same no. of goals or somewhat near to that last season's figure or maybe more.

City are not the kind of team to be demoralised easily. I haven't seen City under Guardiola taking pressure after a loss or so. They always have been calm and always play confidently.

The deal basically done for Kane to Bayern for 110+ m€.

This is such a bad move, he is 30, no point to invest so much money in him.

I would say that his worth is a bit towards steep given his age but he was Spurs crucial player. Despite Bayern trying with 70-80m bid Spurs denied within a day so obviously Bayern had to go a bit further to make an offer that Spurs really can accept. Bayern needed the player and Spurs can't *easily* let him go unless they match the valuation. Levy has always been hard to get.

Is it worth investing that much money? Straight answer -No but sometimes circumstances also changes those answers easily. I feel same thing happened with Bayern. Bayern are a top club and last season they struggled a lot. I would say they *had* to make this bold move.

Finally Harry Kane will have the opportunity to leave Tottenham Hotspur and join a better club where his chances of winning trophies are better much guaranteed.
The the news so far, it's reported that Bayern Munich and Tottenham has reached abd agreement to sign the England national team captain to Germany but the only factor that can stop the deal from pulling through is if the Kane refuses and that I think wouldn't be possible because the striker has already shown signs of displeasure to continue playing for the North London club.

Yeah it seems that everything is ok between the club's and the only thing now remains is Kane's decision which will also be out soon. I don't think Kane will pull out especially when he also showed some interest in joining Bayern. He will be shattering records at Allianz Arena now. Shame he didn't went for the PL all time top goalscorer but guess he has to make the move for trophies now.

@Matt_Law_DT
Understand Liverpool have outbid Chelsea for Moises Caicedo which would also help explain Chelsea’s bid for Lavia. Suggestion however remains that Caicedo would prefer Chelsea move. More to follow.

Interesting  Cheesy. Brighton have been playing it hard ball when it comes to Caicedo. And why Chelsea over Liverpool? Liverpool is much more better at current state.

Regarding Lavia, it's kinda a war going on between Liverpool and Chelsea. Not sure who will be getting Lavia but whoever will get him will be making a good addition to the tema for sure.

RB Leipzig is now working on a centre-back Castello Lukeba as Gvardiol replacement. They had to work on this though to fill the vacant spot left by Gvardiol but I feel like they will again develop Lukeba here and will try to fetch as big money as they can get after he develops into a real player just like Gvardiol.

Nice business, Leipzig  Cheesy

Bad start to the season even though Nkunku is one of talented player who can be relied upon at Chelsea but unfortunately he has to rest until appointed time.

Yeah a real worry for Chelsea after the Nkunku injury. Cuts out lot goals for Chelsea .

Although some people say this will not be a big problem for Chelsea and they still have reserve player, but performance is not as good as Nkunku, but what if this has happened, Mauricio Pochettino must work hard to find ways to improve this situation.

Well you also have to look at how good is the other option is as well. I don't think anything is good as Nkunku for Chelsea. Yeah an alternate option can patch up some problems but Nkunku injury is gonna effect Chelsea for sure. I think it is even out of Pochettino hand as he has to play out the next best option. It is not an easy situation for managers to deal with when they are out of one and only good option of striker.

Nicolas Jackson is the next option but it is yet to see how he performs.

I love my club, but I am not so sure that we can win against Manchester city. I feel Manchester city has even improved more from the success of last season, and they will be brimming with confidence.

I will like to see Arsenal win to give our team the confidence entering next season.

Havertz playing in strike position for us and I just hope he will be clinical because this is the time to prove that he is worth what Arsenal paid for him, also Declan Rice.

Also, there's no De Bruyne for Manchester city, that can limit their play against us because of how much we know he dominates games against Arsenal.

Yeah I know City are the favorites in front of Arsenal but I think Arsenal also has improved a lot over the years to come to a point where they can really beat City (again in my opinion). So I have my hopes high from Arsenal this season. I can understand not everyone has the same opinion and confidence as City have complete different mentality, confidence, squad, manager, and everything but I feel sometimes luck also plays a part and maybe with bit of equal performance we can defeat City today.

Man City recently communicated that they have no intention of selling Bernardo Silva to PSG and Barcelona as reported by Romano [1]. It was kinda obvious as after Mahrez and Gundogan's departure Bernardo Silva's playing chances will be very high. Man City are now looking forward to extend Silva's contract so it will be interesting to see what Silva feels about continuing at City. I predict a kinda short term contract as it was reported earlier that he showed an interest of moving to Spanish league so based on that I feel he is gonna sign up for a bit few years like 2-3 years.

Arsenal vs City up ahead in Community Shield fixture in just less than 30 mins and strong lineup from both sides. Man City kinda taking it a slightly easy but they still have mostly strong players. Kai Havertz starting as Jesus is injured but Kai Havertz is also good as false 9 option. Really excited to see which sides dominates in terms of possession because both sides are kinda have similar kind of play style. Arsenal also has developed a bit of possession type gameplay so it will be a really interesting game to watch.  Cheesy

there is no need to doubt the players who were successfully recruited by Erik Ten Hag because he definitely has good quality and I see recent history in Euro qualifiers Hojlund managed to score 6 out of 4 matches this is proof that Rasmus Hojlund has good performance to be a player Man United starter so naturally the transfer fee is very expensive because he is still young and has a bright future talent.
although some people doubt the talent he has we will see this season and Rasmus Hojlund will prove it if he can make a good contribution to Man United.

It's a big challenge for Hojlund after making the move to United. Remember he is a first team striker so lot of expectations will be from him. Right now we can't determine if he is good bad as PL is on different level and it's not easy at first for anybody. There are lot of players in Man U so competition will also be high. At times when Hojlund doesn't performs as expected, Ten Haag might start Rashford or Martial so there will be lot of pressure on him right now.

[...] But if Vincent Kompany expects a good performance from the team then he should definitely add some talented players to the squad. In particular, his defense must be kept strong. If the defense is weak, he cannot survive in a competitive league like the Premier League. Let's see what will happen.

He do need some players as Burnley can work with current squad but for a better performance Burnley really need to sign some strong players. It's not about defense only, their midfield also needs to get a good hold and strikers also need to score goals in order to give Burnley a good fighting edge.

I hope they make a very good signing and start PL strong.
