301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: March 10, 2018, 12:10:00 PM
I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.

Any form of currency has illegal users,  I guess the anonymity of bitcoin  makes it favorite among criminals to make any illegal activities. Bitcoins lack regulation and there is no way to retrieve bitcoins that has been stolen,  so it is easy to stole it and run away.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: March 08, 2018, 04:24:34 AM
I think bitcoin can be used as the instrument for corruption. Today bitcoin stays not so known and not so many people knoe about it. But in nearly future when bitcoin will be spreaded on our daily life and more people will talk about it politicians or businessmen can start to use bitcoin for their financial operations. The main factor here is that with bitcoin you can hide your indentity and such corruption money making can have place to be very often.

I agree with you, bitcoins could be the potential catalysts for corruption. Anyone can buy or sell anything with bitcoin and never be tracked, there's no one central bank monitoring the flow of debt and credit, let alone busted if they broke the law.
303  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: March 07, 2018, 08:43:31 AM
Have you ever thought about buying bitcoin for your children as a future investment?

I am thinking about the future of my children but i would not risk their brighter future to a thing that is not yet stable. Bitcoin is only becomes valuable if it truly becomes a world currency. No one knows for sure the future of bitcoin, but for now i just enjoy the profit i gain with bitcoin.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: March 06, 2018, 12:24:01 AM
I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum

Yes, I believe so. If you can buy almost all of the bitcoins then maybe you can increase the price and sell it a bit lower if the  price goes very high. But for these to be done you need to buy almost all of the bitcoins. I think this isn't a good way to do and besides this is cheating. I don't think they could also benefit that much from doing so. Yet who knows somebody would do this.
305  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: March 05, 2018, 03:46:02 AM
I believe President Duterte can do it and as a filipino, we will support him all the way. He is a man of action, the right guy we needed to make the change and make the Philippines a better and safer place to live in.
306  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can one be a good neighbor? on: March 04, 2018, 03:42:30 PM
You just live by the golden rule. And  you should love and respect your neighbor as you love and respect yourself and your family so that you may live harmoniously.  I know it's not easy to get along to all neighbors, but you should make a special effort and try to be open-minded. Taking the time to establish good terms to them so that the neighborhood will become friendlier, safer, the area nicer and comfortable place to live.
307  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quit Facebook on: March 03, 2018, 09:59:26 AM
One thing i would miss if i quit facebooking is the selfies of my girl friends with the infamous duckface. I have a lot of friends in Facebook but only just a few are my real good friends. They would only greet me on my birthday because facebook just reminded them. Better to delete my acount, its just only a waste of time and energy.
308  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why God exists in all people mind? on: March 03, 2018, 04:54:15 AM
Since we were baptized as Christians we acknowledge that there is a God our Savior. And to think of our God continuously is to invite God into our mind. To invite God into our mind is to make our life divine centered, blessed and uplifted. We have been told by all those who experienced divine consciousness, those Priests who continue to inspire us through their works and their words, that the only way to reach God is by keeping Him in our thoughts continuously and making Him the cause and the reason for all our activities and achievements.
309  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: March 02, 2018, 07:17:09 AM
One big factor that contributes to poverty in my country is corruption, a problem that doesn't seem to end. Because of these corruptions, funds are getting short for health, education, agriculture, and other important matters. Another thing is the lack of education. If you can't read or do basic math, if you can't show up for work and apply yourself, you will not have a job. You will be poor.
310  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate a person to work? on: March 02, 2018, 06:08:22 AM
Employer should offer the right incentives that will impact the employee's personal brain and personal types to keep them mentally and emotionally invested in doing their best. The compensation depends with their contribution. If an employee have done tremendous amount of work on their own, don't expect them to be happy if you reward the whole team.
311  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why do men think women are inferior to them ? on: March 02, 2018, 04:22:04 AM
Even today,  women are still considered inferior to men by most cultures, whether developed, developing or undeveloped nations. Maybe because men think that they possessed the physical stamina to do so at far greater degree than females. They think that female role is breeders not a leaders. And even though technological and economic advances have allowed women to have children as well as professional careers, their multi millennial image as background breeders persists.
312  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the Meaning of Sin? on: March 01, 2018, 08:39:13 AM
We think that a sin is a wrongdoing or transgression of God's Law. Sin also includes a failure to do what is right like not attending the Holy Mass or go to confession. Bible teaches that sin involves a condition in which the heart is corrupted and inclined toward evil.
313  Other / Politics & Society / Re: impact of internet and technology on: March 01, 2018, 05:40:24 AM
Technology is a wonderful thing. It connects us to others, it's super convenient, even shopping could be done online. But here's the sad reality: All that tech is taking a toll to our health. Research shows that staring at your phone or computers all day might wreck your spine. Too much screen use could also strain your eyes. All that googling can cause anxiety and maybe giving you a headache. Perhaps it is time to power down a bit. Too much of anything can be bad.
314  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: February 28, 2018, 08:25:49 AM
Alcoholism has been called the most serious drug problem in terms of number of victims and cost to society. Most of us are all too aware of being intoxicated can lead us into a situation or scenario we would otherwise avoid if sober. Drinking can increase a person's likelihood of getting into fights, displaying disorderly conduct in public, driving under the influence, and becoming involved in domestic disputes or violence and having no memory of their actions.
315  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Music Actually Change Lives? on: February 28, 2018, 07:01:36 AM
Music definitely change my life. It makes me feel different emotions, like when I'm listening to happy songs, sad songs, rock songs. To help me when I'm feeling down, I listen to pop and acoustics and it makes me feel happier. I also gain friends through music.
316  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate? on: February 27, 2018, 09:07:16 AM
Sometimes people are just unusually cruel. This can be because they have a bad home life, or their own insecurity or mental health problems. People often look for something or in this case someone who is either doing better or worse than them to direct their anger towards. When they pick on someone who is better than them it might be so that, that person can see their point of view. They pick on someone who's doing worse than them to up their own self esteem and make the other person feel horrible

317  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real friends. on: February 27, 2018, 05:02:37 AM
A real friend is someone whom you know will be there for you, whenever you need him. Someone who is loyal to you, who will stick by your side through the good and bad; through thick and thin; someone that will give to you without expecting anything in return. Friendship is a necessary part of every human's life as none of us is self sufficient as the saying goes " no man is an island".  Friendship requires devoting time and patience. There can be disagreements and quarrels also, which is natural, but one must have patience to deal with such frustrations.
318  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Long distance relationship on: February 26, 2018, 07:20:36 AM
Long distance relationships have their ups and downs, just like a regular relationship has. If two people love is so strong, no distance should be able to come in their way. There are so many ways that the partners would feel close to their spouse despite thousand of miles between them. One of the ways is to talk on the cell phones, or social networks such as Skype and Facebook. The couple should communicate their expectations for the amount of text, phone calls, video chats, to maintain gratifying connection with their partner while not overcompensating for time spent apart.
319  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to stop smoking? on: February 26, 2018, 02:10:26 AM
Smokers often start smoking because friends and family do. But they keep smoking because  they get addicted to nicotine, one of the chemicals in cigarettes and tobacco. To help you quit smoking, you will need to change your behavior and tell your family and friends that you are planning to quit because you will need their moral support and encouragement.  Set the quit date and write down all the reasons why you want to quit smoking. Keep that list where you can see it. Throw away all your cigarettes and be prepared for nicotine-withdrawal syndromes. Quitting is hard but not impossible.
320  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Life before and after marriage ??? on: February 23, 2018, 02:40:52 AM
I am still single so i really can't differentiate the life before and after marriage. But based on what i have observed specially to my older brother and sister, marriage is the biggest turning point in their life. Before when they were single, they are carefree, they do whatever they want, don't have worry about coming home early, buy everything to their hearts desire. But now their priorities have change. They manage their money differently, their spouse's debts are now their debts and financial successes are now their financial successes. And their kids are the top priority before themselves.
