Si, tutto molto interessante... ma cosa c'entra allora la blockchain? Il problema è che attribuiscono un significato errato alla blockchain, vorrebbero dire soltanto "database sicuro" ma utilizzano impropriamente la parola blockchain.
Quando si parla di casi d'uso della blockchain dove si limita la possibilità di scrittura, sono tutti casi dove si poteva benissimo usare un db, l'unica cosa forse è che usando la blockchain diventa più semplice verificare/confermare l'integrità dei dati dall'esterno rispetto ad un db. |

By reading the title i thought was about letting you know ( with mail or in some other way) when some transaction involving an address you are observing occurred.

Hey Piggy ! Thanks a lot for this incredible tool your provided for us all.  It is really helpful ! Has it been already suggested to add a feature that allows to disable notifications when some specific users name/quote me ? There are several persons I put on ignore on the forum but they still quote me in their posts and I am getting notified of that. I couldn't care less of their posts but still it attracts my attention. Hence why I ask if this has been suggested already in the past. Maybe this can be done by interacting with Maggiordomo on Telegram ? Hi, Yes, this was suggested some time ago already, but for the moment i have decided not to implement it, mainly to avoid creating a bottle neck , stability problems and eventual slow down while processing the messages. |

Tornado al discorso precedente, io da poco ho scoperto che un collega (lavoro in una piccola azienda) è appassionato di criptovalute ed ha partecipato ad alcuni eventi come relatore... Come è piccolo il mondo!
Magari non è il caso, ma siamo ancora in una fase in cui visto che "non si capisce bene come funziona" o perchè dovrebbe valere qualcosa, c'è diffidenza, quindi parlarne apertamente vieni marchiato come fanatico. Io solitamente ne parlo solo se altri tirano fuori l'argomento. |

L'applicazione a prodotti doc e docg come citato nell articolo ci starebbe anche, si sconfiggerebbero tutte le etichette contraffatte quantomeno. Poi c'è la questione di come sarebbero implementati i controlli effettitvi sui prodotti e provenienza delle materie prime...ma quello è anche un problema col sistema di tracciamento attuale. |

Ogni tanto capita anche a me di avere qualche discussione con qualche collega che tira fuori motivi per cui non funzionerà o fallirà nel breve futuro, piu che altro per la questione mining in generale o la fase in cui tutti i bitcoin saranno minati e tutto dovrà reggersi sulle fees.
Chiacchere da bar più che altro nessuna prova concreta.

Damn! it looks like the whitepaper was not meant for the reading pleasure of the laymen supporters of this project, i can hardly make out all the mathematical term use for explanation, very short and straight to the point, but it would be more appreciated if there is an easy interpretation of the whitepaper, i can already tell many will have problem understanding it.

Building dApps with higher throughput is possible on Ethereum when you use a sidechain.
Loom Network is one of those sidechains. You can run the dApp on Loom and if some users want to take their assets onto Ethereum to secure them, they can do this.
Most of the users can use the cheap and fast sidechain and the ones that favour full decentralisation can do that with a hit on transaction times and price.
This setup requires the dApp developers to support such a scenario but in my opinion it is worth the effort, because it drives the goal of decentralisation forward.
I read a bit about loom and their plasma chain solution, could be indeed a valid solution if you want to stay in Ethereum but having cheap and responsive app. |

Immagino rilasceranno informazioni dettagliate su come scambiarli usando lo smart contract, se hai intenzione di fare il KYC. Il tasso di cambio potrebbe già essere visibile dallo smart contract se si trova il codice da qualche parte, visto che è già sulla blockchain ma non ancora attivato per usarlo.

Do you already have the hardware somehow or you have a custom made solution? I never heard of just software for atm you can buy, i guess there may be some open source project pheraps. Usually you just buy a complete package the whole atm machine ready and the software must be developed specifically by/for the company that make the machine itself. |

AFAIK it is not started yet, so Harvard is not invested in them at this moment. It's a bit misleading imo.
Anyway, the one who (reported) going to invest in this token sale is Harvard Management Company, not the university itself. They're mainly an organization which aims to provide funds for Harvard if I get it correctly.
Interesting that they are okay with 'gambling' their money through a token sale like this.
Yes it seems like that, they are "just" funding the university. Indeed it's a little bit strange they are putting their money out like that, if it was 2017 maybe would have been kind of ok, you may have made something out of it. It could also be they have some information not everybody is aware of about this project.  |

Per ora no... dopo un paio di giorni mi hanno inviato una mail con un link da seguire.... fiducioso e speranzoso ho cliccato appunto sul link ... è comparsa una pagina automatica dicendo che avevano registrato l'ip e che avrebbero fatto ulteriori controlli e di attendere.... da allora tutto tace.......
Ci tengo un sacco al mio primo account.. è del 2014... sr member ( quindi più "piccino" del tuo...) alla fine mi ero davvero affezionato.... però anche questo con il passare del tempo piano piano cresce...... quando persi l'account originale ero certo che non vi sarebbero state possibilità di recupero... e quindi dopo il primo periodo di scoramento con l'idea di staccarmi e mollare il tutto sono tornato ed ho ripreso a leggere e scrivere.... se mai lo recupererò sarò in difficoltà con entrambi... ritorno al passato oppure nuova vita con questo??? Però anche quello è MIO... e lo rivorrei comunque... ciao!

Anch'io devo provare a recuperare il mio vecchio account (hackerato nel 2017) ora ho provato a mandare una mail a recoveries...@bitcointalk.org vediamo cosa mi rispondono, purtroppo nei vecchi post non ho collegato nessun indirizzo btc, spero che avergli scritot con la mail originale (che tra l'altro ha lo stesso nome del mio vecchio account) possa bastare. pindol Dimostrare di possedere la mail originale ora dovrebbe essere abbastanza e anche il recupero dovrebbe avvenire in tempi più umani, visto che ora c'è qualcuno che si occupa principalmente di questo. |
