AS I said, this could be massive for DRK.. If the "underworld" moves their cash into DRK to keep it hidden, then an 8 mil mkt cap is going to explode...
I know but nothing has been tracked, coins will have been seized. If they were using DRK, DRK would still have been seized. Do dark markets operate that way? I'd never use one that did, I want direct trade with my buyer/seller, not to be trusting some shady 3rd party. There shouldn't be anything to be seized, unless your individual buyer/seller gets busted mid deal. During every cigarrette break at home I wind up shooting the shit with the neighbors, sometimes dark coin comes up. They are all definitely non-crypto folks, and I always assume no one would be interested in it other than us nerds, but almost all of them latch on to the subject and really want to hear about it. We all know what's up in the crypto scene and we're all about darkcoin. It seems like the obvious super-human strength of it translates well to the non-crypto crowd easily as well.

First release of $MN$ is ready!! This program monitors your Masternode balances and sends you either a text message or email notification when you are paid. Normal view...  With settings exposed...  At the moment it is unfortunately only available on windows, but if everything goes relatively smoothly I'll get to work on Linux and Mac releases shortly. There will be a little more customization added in the near future. If anyone has any specific requests for features I will be happy to look into it. Let me know what you think! I know I'm a day late, but the MN monitoring and text message software "$MN$" will be available tomorrow. It is wayy more general and error resistant than my first inclination for release. The code is hard right now, I'm just touching up the tutorial and visual stuff. Again, I know the pros are already pulling this stuff off, but it can't hurt to provide a program for anyone who wants to receive a text message for every MN payment without sinking a bunch of time into code. Can confirm it supports unlimited MNs, and is purring along like a dream. Tomorrow I'll make a *.zip available as well as the source code, hope someone can make use of it. I would have a really hard time forgiving myself if I played the market by selling my masternodes and wound up missing a rise and got priced out. So, I work my job and put as much from each paycheck as I can into btc then drk. Anyway, It's just money I would drink away or throw at women. If the price rises, I'm happy. Same story for if the price falls.

I will start off with only windows. It is written in python, which is ridiculously easy to transcribe into other OSes, so if everything goes well, I will quickly follow with Linux, then Mac. Then I will add some needed setting configs, like toggling pop up *notifcations, personalizing the message sent to text/email, and adding alerts for balances getting LOWER. It will be open source, so hopefully some respected members of the community with knowledge of python will be able to confirm that it isn't doing anything it shouldn't. PS: Damn nice clip mangled. Getting very close to being able to release this software! The pros I'm sure are accomplishing this already, but I think it could be useful to some people. It allows you to monitor an unlimited number of masternodes, and receive emails or text messages when they are paid. Will start off only working for windows, but should be really easy for everyone to use. It seems I have gotten it resilient to internet outages. How it runs...  With settings exposed...  The info in the pics is not mine, cause I'm paranoid. Should be ready to release in a day, maybe two. |

Saw this yesterday at the airport when my flight got delayed Had my headphones on and burst out laughing so much I scared an old lady half to death OH MY GOSH, I nearly pee'd, that was so funny. Camo better come back, he's the light of the thread  Everyone knows he's fucked up. He doesn't deny it. But anyone who is serious about this project is going to read this shit all day long, and if it is 100% sheeple, most will only be able to stomach it for so long. Yes he is off putting to most newcomers. Yes he is offensive to a lot of regulars. But he is the devils advocate that is needed in every project. If this was a proper business, I could understand the decision to separate ties. I definitely don't agree with everything he says, but if he wasn't presenting opposing views along the edge of a razor blade, I would get bored here. I hope we can make room for him, because despite his faults, he is brilliant and brings a lot of life to the community. People who are offended by him, I understand. If your argument is that we have to welcome newcomers, I have no response. But I am not a unique person, and I know I would drift a bit without his company. I hope we can continue making some room for him. |

I thought enforcement went through on oct 6th? I havent had a lot of time lately to keep up with what's going on.
My understanding is that a date is never really set in stone and has more to do with the way the system is running. I'm sure that if I am in error here - somebody will chime in :-P Enforcement did kick in before and worked like a charm. Then Evan coded a schedule for MN payment adjustment, beefed up enforcement, and changed the way the MN payment list syncs, so it was necessary to go through the changes again. This meant turning enforcement off, giving everyone some time (where we are now) and turning it back on again(very soon). |
