301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: September 03, 2017, 07:39:42 PM
I know the bitcoin in 2014 its price when it was $300, and the greatest regret that time is why I didn't buy when I have money about $2000, the money was in fact I use it for things that are not very helpful
Lol, that’s kind of funny. Some guy on this forum was testing Bitcoin so he purchased a pizza for a huge amount of Bitcoins and that pizza is now worth more than a million dollars. Have you ever calculated the price of the things that you’ve purchased a while back and compared the price of Bitcoin to the amount you used on that purchase?
It feels good sometimes to see how much Bitcoin has improved though there doesn’t seem a point to being sad about the coins that were sold because you wanted something at that time because the price is still going up.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit Activation any time now... on: August 25, 2017, 12:08:50 AM

Segwit activation in four blocks - why isn't anyone talking about this?
The people that were waiting for the Hard Fork stayed around till the very beginning of this month, most don’t really know or care for SegWit activation. I think that the price of Bitcoin can fluctuate at high levels because of the news yet the price of Bitcoin is going to go up anyways.

The longterm holders just check the price of Bitcoin then exit the page once they’ve seen it. There’s other people that are lurking in this forum that are waiting for the second SegWit to happen and that’s when they expect to have a bunch of money to appear in their wallets and that’s when the next adventure beings.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 12:05:26 AM
Banks have many doubts about crypto currency and they have fear because more people start using this currencies day per day. Banks are decentralized and having very slow and complicated methods to get you fully verified and then making your transaction easily.
It’s mainly because Bitcoin is pretty knew, Banks fear the new technology that Bitcoin brings and that’s why they are trying to get people to look into Blockchain to see what flaws the system has. Once the people in the large Banking business find features that will enhance the security for Bitcoin then they will try to integrate their own system so they could get people to put money into that instead of relying on Bitcoin to process their payments.
Bitcoin can go down no matter what anyone says, Banks can go down as well. Banks just want the money first.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future? on: August 25, 2017, 12:02:30 AM
Future holds so many things that are not certain for now. Bitcoin may stay on top for a long time but surely we all know someday something else may come on top.
Something may replace Bitcoin when a disaster happens, we just don’t know yet. Bitcoin is one of the things out right now that will keep people spending other currencies without relying on the government currencies alone. If Bitcoin wasn’t around right now then there would be much less talks about people finding a safe haven investment on the news, people would be reading more news on Gold and other precious metals that they can invest in and they might look into investing their money on precious metal stocks that will think that can get them rich. Most won’t really know that they own nothing.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO YOU AGREE? on: August 24, 2017, 11:53:17 PM
It's amazing if bitcoin prices are up to $ 15,000. I agree with that forecast, because I want a $ 15,000 price and it would be worthwhile to have a bitcoin with only 0.0001 btc.
The newer Bitcoiners that want to purchase Bitcoin when the price of Bitcoin is that high could be a good thing or it could be a very bad thing depending on how many people want to purchase the coins then. If more coins were moved around during that price then more money would get sent to miners and they would have to find people that would want to exchange their coins for their currency of choice since mining Bitcoins isn’t free. That scenario would change if they used a solar mining rig to cut down the costs of mining.

Bitcoin would be pretty expensive to purchase if it went that high.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if BTC gets regulated? on: August 24, 2017, 11:50:39 PM
Hello,

Just read somewhere that BTC is accepted by strippers now? lol

I wonder what will happen if it gets regulated by the government? value would go down? perhaps consolidation?

Overall , what's the general outlook? Obviously, I understand it'll be personal opinion but still. Go ahead and share. I'll get to learn something new.

Even if Bitcoin is used for people that want to tip/pay strippers for their job it doesn’t make that much of a difference from the things that people were buying earlier when Bitcoin was just starting out. Bitcoin was usually the payment of choice when trying to purchase those type of things on Backpage, they probably don’t accept any Bitcoin payments anymore because they’ve removed their escort section.

If Bitcoin got regulated then there would be more people using Bitcoin, the people using Bitcoin could still use Bitcoin and remain anonymous –it doesn’t really matter how people use Bitcoin in that case.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are these coins good for long term? on: July 14, 2017, 10:06:34 PM
hi guys right now im currently holding

stratis, ioc, steem, sys and zen(mining it)

im also thinking about ark and monero

are all of these coins good or is it just a pump and dump ( obviously i dont suspect monero of pump and dump )

Since you are asking, Ark might be the one that would make you the most money out of those selections because they have people working on the coin and the community around it is pretty active especially within their thread on Bitcointalk.
Monero is another money maker though there is just so many people using as a payment method so the price of it is really unstable in the long-term. I would choose Ark out of every one of those.

308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto currency will be more expensive than bitcoin? on: July 14, 2017, 09:29:16 PM
The answer will be none, when an alt coin ICO, price maybe can surpassed Bitcoin, and usually a coin with a price higher than Bitcoin won't stay too long, last time zcash price ever going over Bitcoin, but because nobody really interested now the price already below bitcoin
So I never see any coin with the price higher than Bitcoin could last for a long time
There might be a coin that gets more expensive than Bitcoin though the price of that coin shouldn’t last that long because Bitcoin should have more people interested in it that the other coin. If a coin does get more expensive and has the hype to make it to the very first spot within the Coinmarketcap website then that coin will only stay there for a little bit because people will try to post FUD within their Announcement thread so the price will dump.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does it need to start an ICO? on: July 14, 2017, 09:08:56 PM
There is not allways a finished product needed for a funding.
Mostly there is a plan to create and publish an idea of a product.

So i mean, there is no finished product needed to start a funding.
Finish the project then launch the ICO, there shouldn’t be any ICO’s that aren’t finished with what they are stating that they are trying to do because they are only relying on wishful thinking. Most people that make these ICO’s now days like to state that they are working on this or that though they hire some cheap programmer to do all their dirty work once they receive the money from the ICO’s or the previous ICO’s that they’ve made.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum best for investment? on: July 14, 2017, 05:38:34 PM
Yes I think Ethereum is good for investment right now, most especially Ethereum's value right now is dumping. So if you would want to invest in this coin, now is the right time to buy them.
I really think that the dump in Ethereum has not finished yet I think Ethereum and the other alts still have something between 10 to 20% to fall it may seem high, but I think there is still room for it to go lower, after that investing would be a good idea since the price can only do one thing, to go up.
Be ready to place low buy orders because the price of Ethereum is ready to go lower since the price of Bitcoin is going lower as well. There’s a bunch of these coins that are paired to Bitcoin and Ethereum so the price of those coins won’t remain at a high price. People will be panic selling when the price gets lower because they don’t really know what they’re doing, don’t play with money that you can’t afford to lose.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect my altcoins? Please help. on: July 14, 2017, 05:30:58 PM
Use MYEHTERWALLET for Ether and EC-20 coins. Check how to cold store on airgapped computer.

Exodus is also good if you want a desktop wallet and just using for storage.

If you already invested thousand's of ur hard earned money, better buy HARDWARE wallets, you wont regret it. Just remember pass phrase and if you lost the wallet you can start with new one using existing pass pharse and ur old coins will be visible.

Don't ever trust a exchange and expect them to keep your money safe!
I would just download a regular wallet from the official website of the coin or just download the Ethereum wallet from their website instead of purchasing a hardware wallet. Downloading Ethereum’s blockchain is long, it’s worth it in the end because you literally paid nothing to get your coins secure.

I would trust anyone that makes a hardware wallet, you don’t know what’s really inside of it. Plus there more flexibility with a desktop wallet.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Dinastycoin. Cryptonote Protocol, Made for Italians. on: July 14, 2017, 02:08:04 AM
He Guys,

I really like the potential of this coin and am very curious about year ideas. But I would love to see a bit more activity on this forum.
Could you not set up a slack, telegram, discord. Something to connect a bit more with people that are interested?

Thanks

^ This

I have ask for a slack channel before, is more easy and i can have the app on my phone.
still waiting on the English page on the site & the new roadmap

Dev said there's a meeting with the manager of about 500 italian merchants this week how is that cumming along did it happen already ?

what update is there about the new board of director that i hear about ?

yes meeting was positive we got  agreement +500 italian shopping and professionals will enter soon (but it is only the beginning, we want to arrive to have thousands).  In the next 2/3 month We will create a dedicate ecommerce platform for them since they are association that accept already a complementary coin (not crypto) with fixed value 1payexe = 1euro sohey will ageree to accept also 100% DCY  or alternatively who don't have DCY they will accept payment %payexe+%euro... more details will come soon.  More group of shopping will come in the near future. What is need that in the next 2/3 months the DCY value go up at least minimum of 100/200Satoshi else it will be a problem to sell products in DCY since is not possible at least for now make more that 49.999DCY for transaction (unconfirmed transaction for too long time come back and merchants need to receive confirmations immediately to can ship products). In august we will enter in LiveCoin.net and in the next few day we will ask for Bittrex and some more...  so we thing in this way the price will go up.

there are several more news that will be published too also in english, the new Board of Directors for example. All directors will be add to a dedicate page with Picture, curriculum and what they will do for the community Dinasty of freedom and Dinastycoin ... or the new eshop platform v2.0 with features similar to amazon and  more news to come.... so many stuff to do.
For the roadmap we will finish in italian this week end, then will be translate and after it will be update any time some news will come... we rebuilded it starting from september 2015 when was born the idea of Dinasty of Freedom...
one person of the Board of Directory will be responsabile of any translation in the future also of the dinastycoin.com page and the platforms backoffice and eshop
I don’t really see people in Italy or wherever wanting to accept this coin instead of Bitcoin. Why would those people want to accept Dinasty coin as a payment option. What makes them want to do that? Unless you own like 500+ stores then there wouldn’t be any issue to do that though the odds of you having that many stores is not that great.
You can’t even type in proper English, this looks like a scam coin.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinFast revival - on: July 14, 2017, 02:04:52 AM
i still holding this coin but i don't see any good new...
I am not holding this coin though I agree with you, there’s nothing new about this coin.
Are you guys actually listed in Cryptopia or did you guys just post that picture in the Orginal Post so you could attract investors? There’s something really shady about this coin, it also looks like the dev doesn’t post that often as well. I suggest that you guys have the proper materials and post everything at once instead of feeding people posts little by little.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Artcoin - Artcoin.fund Token Sale and Presale - Real Art on: July 14, 2017, 02:01:54 AM

What is Artcoin About?

Artcoin is a value token built on the Ethereum network with the purpose of bringing fine art and new art to everyone.  Today, the art market is not accessible.  Artcoin will open access to that market.  Artcoin will be the future of how Art is bought, traded, tracked, accessed, valued, and authenticated.

  • With the ICO, we will acquire investment grade work that will appreciate in value
  • Your tokens would not only be exchange tradable but could be used to buy work out of the collection for your personal collection
  • Our coin supply will only increase to grow the collection and will be offered at progressively more expense rates to insure the interests of token holders are maintained and the value of their tokens grows.
  • ONLY works sold through Artcoin can be tracked on the blockchain for authenticity
  • A marketplace with allow artists to sell work directly to buyers with Artcoin
  • Virtual and Real galleries will provide access to Artcoin holders to view the collection they helped fund

Token Functionality

Distribution of Funds

  • 70% of the funds will flow into an escrow account and be spent on investment grade art.  The selection of the art will be a collaboration between our arts council and investment advisory experts and token holders.  Art will be visible virtually and token holders will be able to pay Artcoin to physically acquire the art
  • 30% of the funds will go to building the ownership validation, marketplace and digital rights platforms

Team

Quoting you for visibility of images.

Today, the art market is not accessible.  Artcoin will open access to that market.

IMO you will find it hard to bring crypto people to fine art.
You are trying to mach a specialized niche with... specialized niche. Narrowing your potential customers.
Why do they need to do an ICO for a project like this? It looks like they are looking for a quick buck instead of trying to get Artists and the such to show their work to the world.

So you are trying to make a Marketplace so people could sell and purchase items through it, people won’t care that much about it since they could already use Bitcoin and other Altcoins instead of using Artcoin.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 14, 2017, 01:59:27 AM
It doesn’t look like there was that much of a change from the distribution round. The guys that received the coins through the distribution prolly sold all their coins already so I am pretty sure that we can just move forward with the price for Byteball.

Byteball will get a price even more than it’s at right now since there’s large investors interested in the project and what it’s doing for the people that are holding Bitcoins.

316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GGS] Gilgam.es E-Sport platform for everyone crowdsale on: July 14, 2017, 01:53:07 AM
Start creeping up towards 1000 eth, I hope in the last week it can achieve even more. I am happy to be part of the signature campaign
The number of eths continues to increase, which is a good news. Thanks for the people involved.
its a good news, i'm very happy to join this signature campaign. i hope rate this token is great, i cannot waiting anymore for end ICO.
yes we are almost the same i am so happy that i join this campaign and i really do hope the the rate of this token is high in terms of value.i am so excited on how it going to end this comming jully 20 i cannot wait it on that day .
We’re almost there. With the amount of coins that was made through the ICO there should be a demand for the coin because there’s people putting money into it and there’s people that like to gamble on the upcoming sports games.

Will this coin be used in a website or will this coin be used only for in-wallet gambling? I hope that you guys don’t let it be only used through the wallet because you will lose a bunch of investors.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: June 29, 2017, 11:49:02 PM
For me Bitcoin is digital gold.
Someday I will sell it when the price is high
If Bitcoin was not at a high price would you still call it digital gold?
Bitcoin is one of the investments where the money could get spent without relying on some kind of broker to transact the money for me, that is what I like about Bitcoin. Holding Bitcoin is more fun though.
318  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: June 29, 2017, 11:46:53 PM
with social media i can spread the bitcoin knowledge to my friends that work and who are still unemployed
That’s a nice method to bringing more people into Bitcoin.

I like to promote Bitcoin through Bitcointalk because there’s a bunch of people that are interested in Bitcoin though they are only lurking within Bitcointalk because they are unsure if Bitcoin is a safe investment or not.
Investing in Bitcoin is pretty much the same as investing in almost anything else.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: June 29, 2017, 11:42:48 PM
Bitcoin will be better than gold because every year the price is increasing.
That’s for the time being, once the huge disaster happens then there is going to be people flooding into Gold –when people get into Gold the price volatility of Bitcoin will look small compared to how high Gold is going to be in a single day.
Gold is the #1 investment.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: June 29, 2017, 11:40:50 PM
i never use offline wallet because I have no personal pc.
I was afraid of losing my bitcoin.
Some people have to do what they have to do. You should try to get a personal computer if you get into Bitcoin since the people that are holding the coins within their websites will get greedy when the price gets very expensive.
It’s better to spend a couple hundred dollars for a working computer to place Bitcoin in rather than losing all that Bitcoin when the price gets up to 6 figures or more.
