302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The legends of bitcointalk should make our own altcoin together, thoughts? on: August 07, 2015, 12:32:40 PM
problem is around here, everyone's carried away with all this innovation nonsense, i guess that comes with the nerdy territory. however there is very very little understanding of even the most basic economic models.

you ask the average tool what gives fiat its value, they prattle on about gov and guns etc...without the slightest understanding.

then you get the tin hat crowd with their fractional reserve leading fiat creation debt money dribble  Shocked

ask how bitcoin gets it price and u'll get a commodity tends to be priced towards the cost of production equal absolute bs dribble.

i can absolutely say without reservation that any community that even slightly believes in any of the above has less the ZERO chance of creating a usable currency.

so disconnected from reality despite your self-gratifying erroneous believe that you have some amazing insight (because u watch a few youtube videos) above the average joe's.

then the rest of the crowds is here simply for the fiat; well atleast that makes sense.

but whats missing is the real opportunity to create something of value, like i say often, the only thing good to ever come out of crypto todate is the; idea.

the best innovation, won't be all the bs bells and whistle everyones trying to sell here, but something that makes it all simple.

Very Well Put, I think I am at this stage of crypto crisis also! But lets still have fun and maybe we will accidentally make the most stable coin ever made! Here is my idea for the coin...

First of all, I would like to see a coin that touts special Functionality develop everything first (all BS bells and whistles) and then roll out the blockchain. You would think this is how it should work right?

Secondly I would want to see a group try to develop a coin with my new WYPIIWYGO algorithm. What You Put In Is What You Get Out Algo. Then no one could ever lose any money and the economy would only surge forward as it depletes FIAT! New meaning to burn technology is we burn all FIAT going into the coin! Smiley Then you are really gonna have to use the dam coin right!!

The price will always be .00000001 satoshi per coin though and still be worth a dollar. That's right so it will never go down in price ever! If you buy it for cheaper than a dollar someone gave you a discount then. Since to get back in it would cost you 1 dollar in any Fiat Currency and then we BURN it coming back in! Or instead of Burning the currency we could just give it back to the Government and say thanks but no thanks! Smiley

Now if people who are serious about value and alternative economy functionality, all you would need to do is issue a coin for every dollar sent in. But that takes a worthless dollar to buy a worthless alt coin, although that does make it even at the entry point, lol Smiley Burning the Dollar worth of FIAT secures the economy from being depleted by profiteers! And No Pump and Dump cuz you ain't taking profit out of this coin ever! You can profit internally though by bartering.

Aww but how would we know people really sent their money in to get the coins, do we look for a pile of ashes? Oh well back to the drawing board.
90% of the cryptos wasn't created by devs to create some "value" for cryptoland. They dont go for innovation on world changing stuff. They just want to get their slice of cake and thats all.
PS. maybe even much more than 90%

I hear you on that one, it is a very well known fact that markets can also be manipulated by major coin holders of any crypto.

But my new WYPIIWYGO Algo will leave all other devs/coins in the dust and create a Utopian Economy! With really fast and cheap transactions, the WYPIIWYGO coin will replace all currency!
I've just missed this thread for a few days what is that WYPIIWYGO? lol

I am a member for more than 6 months. 'Jr. Member ' for What should I do to make
You have to write a lot of posts and stay online, i mean surf.
PS: I dont mean shit, off posts. Try to be constructive and write some quality posts.

1. you don't need to post a lot to become a Jr. member. 1 post a day after the account is created will suffice. if you have a potential activity of 42 then you can just make 27 post in a few days.

2. you don't need to stay online.
he was speaking about promoting to member rank.

305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ask me anything about NXT! on: August 07, 2015, 12:27:01 PM
What do you think about the AE. is it helping or destroying the NXT ecosystem?
IMO it's much more helping.
AE is the only thing that gives NXT a $10,000,000 cap.

Irregardless of whether many NXT AE Assets are bubbles or carefully planned ponzis...
They have actual value and, by definition, can be converted at any time into NXT currency.

Therefore, the value of NXT currency must be >>> value of all NXT Assets.

AE Assets are often referenced as "beeing pathetic". On Coinmarketcap's Exchanger rankings the AE continually looses ground.

So yes, the AE Assets value gets reflected on NXT exchange rate.
Yeah i understand this. But in a good or a bad way? Scam assets isn't influencing the price in a bad way? ( least even those generate high volume on ae)

New Website launched!

Hello Community,

Welcome to the new blog post for this week, one day earlier than scheduled. Today we happily announce the launch of our new website, after we gave you a teaser 2 weeks ago.

The last weeks our awesome designer, our new frontend developer and the whole Crypti Foundation worked very hard to release it. We felt that the old one didn't representated our vision anymore, we also wanted to have a unified look between all Crypti services.

In the coming weeks we will further update and extend some sections of the website and add new pages. One new page you can expect is a big Documentation section with API calls, guides and dapp information. If you want to help us writing guides, please contact us.

Below you can find a sitemap of our new website, we hope that you like the new design as much as we.

That's it for the week, see you next week.

Check out the blog post

Great looking, keep up the good work
That's what will keep Crypti alive and will not sink in the future Cheesy keep on and good luck devs

309  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: August 07, 2015, 12:14:38 PM

I have heard rumors of media agencies being paid to display false content on their tv displaying positive news. I have also heard that news channel owners bargain their bribes with politicians, often blackmailing them that they will show proof and content about them which will destroy their political party as well as their career. Politicians hate the media, but they end up paying them somehow.
yes exactly , this is their way of covering their own wrong doings in order to protect their images to stand clear and good to the public unfortunately
Yeah but this is also true for FUD
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DRZ] THE DROIDZ • Roadmap Part I • 10k DRZ Giveaway on: August 07, 2015, 12:13:57 PM
I always see an improvement, everyday that I come to this page.

Like we said in the beginning, it's going to be a constant process of growth and change Wink
Is there a whitepaper or roadmap?

312  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: August 07, 2015, 12:11:51 PM
And are these courses and languages useful in crypto coins or are just random courses Huh
In some ways yes as already mentioned in terms of making a website for a bitcoin related project , you could also check Coursera , they offer many courses , before they had algorithm courses which is related to crypto if that's what your after
Crypto is a different thing.
But joust was telling him the ways and languages of crating a casino website.
Yes, I was telling him that:

1: use a premade script and modify it
2: create your own script
3: hire someome to do it for you
There are already a shitload of casinos. If you can't make something special or new you will sink.

314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2016 and WHY on: August 07, 2015, 12:06:58 PM
HZ lost a lot of reputation a past months away. They have to build it up again and come out with much more "innovation"
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - New Update 0.6.42 - Please Update Your Nodes on: August 07, 2015, 11:45:56 AM
cut

don't mean to be rude, but you don't know what you're talking about.
join slack of telegram get outside of btt hole, btt was a starting point,
but we won't care about btt in long run anyway.
why do you guys notice only the "not responding" part? Dont try to defend yourselfs. I was speaking about the whole ecosystem of nem.

Christ is this a joke? This is why NEM is going no where.
Nem is going no where because of "marketers" or whar are they called. So many excuses, delays, weak marketing, almost no PR at all,no innovation and developement in last few months, devs dont accept the help offered.by the community,i mean they have to be more open minded Thats why nem woth nothing. We need a radical change.
No. There is financial world crisis (grexit, china stock market bubble). Also Vitalik's baby born, Ethereum sucks out all oxygen from second generation cryptocurrency family. There is no room for NEM growth.

Nem has to do nothing with world financial crisis. Just a limited number of persons know about it. 1-2k person isn't enough to make a "coin" grow or spread. NEM has to be much more mainstream to get in a such a financial layer.

1-2k person??? I see maybe 7 people posting in this thread. I am going to say maybe 300-500 people actually care this coin exists.
You could say that for many coins and talking as far as the BTT community goes perhaps, but there must be alot more people trading in it on the exchanges to keep the volume and marketcap as high as it is.
There are more people interested in cryptocurrency than you might think.
We were speaking about NEM

Right now we would like help with people making infographics, working on NCC, writing articles, building webpages (if anybody knows Ruby we are having a sticking point with transferring forums and a person with Ruby knowledge would help out for sure) and making a faucet (address and server space provided, just need somebody to code it).

Yeah, i can totally understand but these things doesn't have to take months... at least webpages and faucets. Other coins have in 2 days. Yeah i know you are going to write "NOPE, this is a fucking unique coin, bla, bla ,bla".But just stay for a moment and think about it. You had more than a year to make these things.
Or if your idea was to "keep" the innovation by creating new webpage, etc, i didn't think so that will get more people back on the board again. NEM lost his legitimity in those months when you guys postponed the launch for months.
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 07, 2015, 11:44:35 AM
Why is it going up now?  Huh

Are we looking at the same chart? Its still mostly sideways until the current triangle closes. But on the other hand i expect sudden movements again on the weekend - the same way like in the last few weeks.

Well I've just noticed weekends usually don't change the trend, but instead amplify it.
in the past prices went down on the weekends and rised up mondays when chinese woke up
