The concept is up to people creativity. I believe one of the most common place that people have seen is the animated pets in iphone. So there is a lot more application that can be built on top of it but this is where the dev team is heading towards. |

You need to import you BTC privkey to a wallet. Obviously, you should first move your BTC to not lose anything. Also, would be good to have a block explorer, but I can't find it. Did you check out the Gate.io, i was told in telegram that the Gate.io is trading SBTC and not future SBTC. Would love to hear some feedback if it is real or not. |

I also understand that exchanges will take quite some time to list SBTC. They want to check and see if SBTC can stablise first before adding the trading pair.

Are there any wallets and block explorers available already?
Also, what about replay protection? I read the information on the website but no specific info covers replay protection. As we know from previous Bitcoin forks this is a relatively security sensible issue.
From what i understand, there is a replay protection. Why all exchanges that have listed SBTC has it as future?
The blockchain is live, everyone have access to the wallet.
Sound like a scam to me.
I can't find a SINGLE exchange that have deposit enabled even tho the fork happened like 5 days ago... I'm mad.
EDIT: by the way SBTC wallet shouldnt use the same data folder than bitcoin-core.
I am not too sure about the technical but I know that Gate io is trading the SBTC now. I am still waiting for the binance to allow withdrawal of sbtc and would be best if they can have trading pairs. |

It doesn't even mock properly the alleged function of showing balance for given address, it shows "Balance : SBTC". Pathetic. Agreed, be very cautious, seems the block look up is not fully synched either. Thanks for raising out this issue. As a result, i have sent a report to the moderator and hopefully they will look into this issue and do something about the post. |

This is the 3rd bitcoin fork i've read about today. For those of us who keep our bitcoins on an exchange this is terrible. I predicted this would happen though. Once people saw that bitcoin gold was worth anything at all everyone and their mom was going to do a fork of bitcoin for $$$.
Why bother creating an actual innovative altcoin when you can just fork bitcoin and use the bitcoin name to get traction? There is no point in doing your own branding at the moment. People love these forks.
At least this project adds smart contracts and a few other things, so it has some merits.
You are definitely right, brother. So many forks and I have some dificulty to divide them. But this coin, i think, will have a best future for cryptomans, just look at developers, they are really good specialists in this segment/ Thanks for the constant support of this community. From what i see, the prices of SBTC in Gate can shown that SBTC is here to stay and there is so much room for SBTC to grow with introduce all these features. |
