301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet Price Prediction 2019/2020 - The King Of DEX's. on: October 17, 2019, 07:44:47 PM
im not sure whats with so many people shilling blocknet lately, seen a few alt discussion threads on it now
i remember when it launched, i think everyone knew it was very unique and awesome, but most people i know just got caught up in Mother BTC or starting their own project at the time
It will be interesting to see if it makes a comeback into the spotlight, i should see what they are up to this/next year here...
no way 100-200$ tho haha

$100/coin is easily achievable due to the low circulating supply of coins. I did my research, and compared to other DEX solutions, BLOCK is the clear winner of them all.

...img...

I'm accumulating this one, because I'm sure it's gonna take off eventually when people move away from centralized solutions to protect their privacy.

People will not move from Centralized exchanges anytime soon. They are concentrating on 99+% of the volume. To trade, you need volume, liquidity.

While BlockDX is with superior futures than other DEXs, it will stay small because of liquidity issues.

Let's be realistic. $100 is just for people with huge imagination. That's a 100x increase in current market conditions.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KuMEX: Cryptocurrency Derivatives Trading Platform on: October 17, 2019, 06:41:28 PM
As your platform is a Kucoin deviate, can we use the same credentials on both?
And what about shared funds?

Is this the actual fee structure? https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-kumex-fee
As I can't find anything on the site itself...
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Localethereum - wallet export problem on: October 17, 2019, 05:36:52 PM
okay thank you for trying to help me. If someone knows the official representatives of localethereum maybe ask them? They have a telegram group.
I will log in and ask there as well, maybe I will get some answers.
it is more like wallet import problem than export problem...

As per my knowledge, Localethereum doesn't have a local representative.

You could try to ask them through their contact form: https://localethereum.com/contact

It's a strange problem and I'm also curious about the reason.
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Bitcoin: Bearish Mood Strongest Since February" on: October 17, 2019, 02:16:11 PM
If Bitcoin keeps it around $7,750 will be great.

Lately, at Bitmex, I'm watching moves like steady - steady - drop of $200-$300 - steady - drop of... repeat. And I'm worried because there aren't any significant news to trigger those drops.
I already transferred 30% of my BTC into alts and TUSD.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: People Empowerment on: October 17, 2019, 01:31:27 PM
I'm not a hard believer in the idea. The biggest obstacles are ease of use and global integration.

Merely 2%-3% of the people in the world have enough knowledge of how to use crypto and a mere fraction of that 2%-3 % have the knowledge to do it properly (use it, secure it, store it, etc.).

On the contrary, the central bank's money, paper money/fiat are the standard. Your grandmother doesn't need to check blockchains or whatever when you give her $100, for example, right? Neither the cashier of your corner shop.
306  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nexo - "Earn 8% dividend a year with no risks" on: October 17, 2019, 12:48:37 PM
Instead of focusing on that, we should discuss whether this 8% is really possible and sustainable or not.

It all depends on what your profits come from. In this case, it comes from users opening a credit line and spending their fiat, the interest is set at a minimum of 8% but as I can see it can go to 15% for first-time clients.
So yeah, if you lend money with 15% you can pay somebody 8% interest.

But, as I previously said I don't know who will access these types of loans because it's quite tricky.
If you're not totally bullish on BTC and you're not sure that the coins will grow by at least the interest percentage, plus taking into consideration you have to trust them with double the money you can spend...I really don't see why would you use this.
Also, the interest is in $ as far as I can see, so if the loaner must be bullish, the lender must be a bear, cause he will think the fiat earns in BTC will be lower than 8%.

So, does someone here knows somebody who has taken a loan from them?

Everybody who holds one of the major cryptos or stable coin has access to their loans. Except for countries under sanctions like North Korea, Iran, etc.

I'm staking part of my coins there for interest.

Also, I already use it twice for short terms loans. I'm pleased with the experience. You get an auto assessment of how much you can borrow and the money is in your account in the next business day (SEPA, I don't know for SWIFT). And you can return it whenever you want/can.
NEXO system is made professional so I think it's sustainable.

Just make registration and make your own due diligence Smiley
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Too many exchange apps on: October 16, 2019, 10:39:06 PM
In general, I'm avoiding mobile apps due to security and UI problems.
The only good mobile app that I'm using from time to time in Binance.

If I need to use any other exchange on mobile, I prefer to see the whole 'Desktop' version. While it's kind of inconvenient on the phone screen, I have a known UI and all features.

308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin follow Wyckoff logic, determine your position for ALT on: October 16, 2019, 10:04:24 PM
Will bitcoin fall again, check this. https://mobile.twitter.com/Moe_mentum_/status/1183155495890239490 so determine your position for altcoin guys.

I don't believe in charts (as long as they are for crypto). Charts are made for completely different markets like FX and Stocks. Markets are driven by completely different than Bitcoin powers.

Even if Bitcoin lost a Fiat value, alts are surging on BTC value.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about STO token? on: October 16, 2019, 09:23:10 PM

THIS IS A SCAM!

Stay away!

ChainBow Co., Ltd. is a fast-growing Internet company registered in Japan.

At the same time, ANN is trying to collect the money through the sg domain - Singapore.

The real/original product URL is https://www.cercle.app/ , not .sg
The original company site is https://chainbow.io/index_en.html and it's nearly 2 years old.

310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: October 16, 2019, 06:49:27 PM
After raised to nearly 70%, Bitcoin Dominance now is slowly going down.

IMO now is the right time to buy a few of the stable alts like ETH, LTC, BNB and Ripple with the intention of short-term BTC gain. Don't mistake it with a dollar gain.

While I'm not a fan of Ripple, it's a stable alt compared to many new projects.
311  Economy / Goods / Re: Gameboy Pocket for sale, if there is a market for that on: October 16, 2019, 06:34:37 PM
The right place to sell it is eBay.com. The secondary market here for such stuff is very narrow.

Just open https://www.ebay.com/ and make a search for Nintendo Gameboy Pocket

You could take it $20-$40, one example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-Game-Boy-Pocket-Clear-Handheld-System/323946699659
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tokensdex - Decentralized ERC20 Trading Platform with IEO Launchpad on: October 16, 2019, 03:02:54 PM

You can trade following tokens in Tokensdex now

BCT - Bitcratic
BELA - Belacam
JOB - Jobchain
NCL - Nuclear Coin
CMA - Cryptomarketads
ECOEC - Ecoearthcoin (IEO)
ABST - Abitshadow
ACA - Acash Coin
ABA - ABACOIN
999 - 999 Token
USDC - Usdcoin
iEthereum - iETH
BEFX - Belifex

Website - https://tokensdex.com
Telegram - https://t.me/joinchat/I8fH3EcbjyxZ_GOcpDE_uA
Twitter - https://twitter.com/tokensdex

I like the interface and the fact the smart contract is with open code.

But you can't have a working exchange only with unknown coins. Your daily volume is pretty much close to zero.

Here is what can you do:
1. Open IDEX/FD and check what are the top volume pairs
2. Add it to your contract
3. Write in the ANN of those coins about adding it to Tokensdex
4. Hire a liquidity provider, if needed after this.

313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LEGENDARY FREE TENNIS AND NBA PICKS/BETS#1✔(W7543/L1457) TELEGRAM GROUP ACTIVE!! on: October 16, 2019, 02:14:37 PM
Hello Joca97,

I'm following your telegram channel for some time and your picks are rather good. But I can't find any long-term statistics available. Do you have such? For example, YTD or a Year long stakes, etc.? Both for your free picks and the VIP group?

Thank you
314  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nexo - "Earn 8% dividend a year with no risks" on: October 16, 2019, 01:02:31 PM
Attractive or not depends on what you compare it. Let's stop doing pointless discussion because surely everyone can say X is better than Y while Z is better than X, and so on.

Instead of focusing on that, we should discuss whether this 8% is really possible and sustainable or not.

You could look at your money as supporting a Dice site bankroll and then the site is sharing 50% of its profits with you. It's the same with NEXO and other platforms. You giving them your money, they are loaning it at 16+% with collateral different coins, and then you are collecting profit.

IMO it's sustainable. Kind of. Until there is a demand for the loans I don't see a problem. And still much more secure than most passive investments with such return.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any replacement for DirectBet.eu? on: October 16, 2019, 02:06:11 AM
Anyone who used DirectBet.eu might know how it utilized Bitcoin to make the experience better and more direct than traditional deposit/bet sites.  Are there any trusted sites with similar user experiences these days (no registering an account or making deposits)?

Onehash.com do have that direct betting without any registration it might not be as good as Directbet.eu but it do have the feature similar to it.

Onehash is a mutual betting site, completely different than directbet.eu was. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parimutuel_betting)

Unfortunately, currently there isn't any vial bookie offering on-chain betting.
There are some ETH smart-contract attempts with oracle service, but nothing close to a real working alternative to Directbet.

I never used Directbet.eu or Onehash so far
but I think there  is this option also:
https://dbet.io/

I created voting poll for best sporting bookies, and I think someone suggest it
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5190621

dbet.io is one of the buggiest bookies I know. You could look at the white-orange loading circle for a whole day without a single chance to place a bet. /3 computers, 3 IP, 2 counties/.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Looking - Ethereum Api on: October 16, 2019, 01:23:25 AM
PM your requirements and I will give you a quote.

Like:
   - In/Out of a single wallet
   - or Generating new keys/wallets for every payment (and then move it to the main wallet?)
   - What response do you want and in what format for: missed time window payment, successful payment, etc.

317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: why some shitcoins has different price on diferent exchanges? on: October 16, 2019, 12:50:33 AM
for example look at BRZE/BTC on Vindax and SistemKoin orderbooks:

is there a scam behind the scenes?

There is no scam in the ordinary way.
It's not uncommon to have 1%-5% on low volume/low popular coins.

But in this particular case, to have such a real difference, one or both of the exchanges either forbid deposits or withdraws. You can't speak of a wash trades when you actual buying orders at a higher price than the actual sell orders in the second exchange.
Register for both exchanges and check can you really deposit AND withdraw on both. Or by accident, some of the wallets are in Temporary Maintenance...

318  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Poker - Play Poker with Bitcoin (for free) on: October 15, 2019, 10:30:34 PM
Of course, the first impressions of your resource are very positive, but it seems to me that a hundred satoshi as a bonus does not affect users very much.  In addition, you need to consider that poker players are a narrow circle of people, and therefore you need to introduce other types of games, which of course should attract more customers.

Actually those 100 satoshi's are affecting the game a lot.. in a negative way.

For the lowest 1/2 tables - I just test it and with a simple match figured it out that there isn't any means to play regularly but all-in every. And get another 100 satoshi's if I lose. This is corrupting the whole game and conception.
And everybody else is doing the same.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: October 15, 2019, 04:56:06 PM

It is still unbelievable France failed to score even twice against Turkey's defense. But after losing more bets i'll try the safest ones  this time in a parlay, ML on Israel and Georgia while Italy vs Liechtenstein at over 2.5.

I like Switzerland at home against Ireland but i'll try not to be tempted.

Once again I wonder why you would prefer over 2.5 for Liechtenstein vs. Italy @ 1.21 instead of (HC 2:0) and Italy to win @ 1.36 (odds taken from Sportsbet.io)

Do you expect Liechtenstein to score? IŽd say 0:3 is more probable than 1:2 so I would take the better odds for the "bit more risky" handicap over the totals - just an idea Wink

No, I don't think Liechtenstein can score or maybe one. Italy should be able to score in this game maybe 3 or 4 (worst case scenario 2).

Italy to win @ 1.36? Italy ML is only 1.01-1.04 in most books right?

I am mostly betting only under/over and ML in soccer.

Italy will play this one with the 3rd squad, it can be that Liechtenstein scores one, why not? Prestige for them

I agree, Liechtenstein can score one goal. Italy will play mostly with the youngest and reserves.

Still, the best option for me is Italy Over 3.5 at 1.5 with 80%

and

Both Teams To Score at 3.25 with 20%
320  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nexo - "Earn 8% dividend a year with no risks" on: October 15, 2019, 04:02:40 PM
...
Yes surely it is not low. But it is low when you think that you can grow your money a few hundred times more if you invest in the right ico at the right time. ico ieo or whatever that is they are calling them now days.
Second thing is that you must consider the depreciation of Nexo's inherent value as well. The appreciation or depreciation of the original fiat money invested into it as well.
...

You can't compare a passive income with investments!
By your logic, why should we bother to invest when we can DOUBlE or even TRIPPLE our money in a matter of seconds - just roll a dice.

The key work here is pasisve.
Every IEO/ICO investment requires a lot of due diligence if you don't want to end up losing your money. And is way more risky.

...
Comparing all that, I can say it is not very attractive.

Compared to bank deposits, etc. is pretty lucrative. The risk is not much higher.
