I have a Gameboy Pocket in good condition that I would like to sell but I am not sure if there is a market for that here. I have never sold anything on this forum before and couldnt find any previous gameboy listings.

Would anyone be interested in a Gameboy Pocket so I can create my listing and how much are they worth?

you should have indicate the pictures regarding conditions of the unit/more pict and close looks are much better,also put your estimated price so prospective buyers may have idea and start to negotiate

You need to give much more clear explanation about the product. If you give discounted price compared to the listed price on online stores your product will easily get sold. Also here most of the products were sold in exchange for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. So, be specific to mention about the accepted payments.

Dude for sure there's a market for this. All of the 90's kid would happily get one of it these days especially those who can't afford it before.

Show us the pictures and how much they are and if you are willing to cater for shipping offshore.

There is surely a market of that even for its much original version, the fat one lol.

However, marketing it here might not be effective but you can try. Already know the basics of posting an item for sale?

Try to sell it first on your locals or post it via Facebook's Marketplace section for a much better target audience.

Right, that's a good idea. Conduct a test sale locally first and see if there will be a market on his location which I really believe there is. I used to see sponsored ads on facebook with the retro games and sure there's a lot of inquiries on the comment section.

like @harizen said. try posting on fb marketplace  . you can also list your items on ebay , amazon and on other online shopping sites and lastly you can post your items on here >>>  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0

just put all the necesary details like  price , currency of choice , picture of items  . describe the condition of the item (e.g 80% or 99% )  and the freebies or included on the package .

You should give  more  details about your product  ..  You move  provide the specification , brand  and its color.  When its come to selling you have to be transparent don't hide your identity when it come to doing business  on this platform. You should indicate  if you are selling it local or international  to attract exact  buyer.

There is a market for anything you want to sell. All that is needed is getting someone who needs to create value from that goods you are selling. I know of game-boy as a pocket game when I was growing up and some of my friends who are teenagers have the console to brag all around the neighborhood. The challenge you might have from my point of view is whether there are teenagers on the platform or young adults who wants to relieve the old memory of childhood by patronizing or wanting to buy for their young ones. Another challenge is this era where we have electronic games the PlayStation and Xbox counterparts that have made childhood memorable and with the advancement in technology you can now begin to play with someone several miles away that you might not get to meet in your life time. Create a thread on the goods section of the forum and you can take it from there.

No certain price. OP has not even replied yet to this thread. I don't know if he's still considering selling it through the forum but I'm sure that there will be people who would love to order it.

IMO, he'll definitely accept bitcoin and other acceptable altcoins if he comes back.

Definitely there's still a market for it and it could be collectible items for those who played this game in the past. But I'm not sure if this is the right marketplace though, maybe some other forums that deals with this kind of items. You might want to try it though and go to Goods. Best of luck.

Are there fake ones? IMO it's easy to distinguish the fake ones from the real ones. Those fake ones doesn't contain the true name and logo of GB while the legit one, well for those who have touched and used it before. It's going to be easy to see.

Sorry, I was very busy in the recent days and had little time to browse this forum.
I have now updated the first post with a few photos of the Gameboy. Someone said that the value of these devices is $30. I am not interested in selling at that price. I don't need the money and I am would rather hold on to it for 5, 10, 20 years if needed, maybe it becomes a collectors item.

My location is Europe, I prefer not to go into to many details. If I agree terms with a buyer he will of course know everything he needs to.

The right place to sell it is eBay.com. The secondary market here for such stuff is very narrow.
