This is normal? We are all here because that is not normal, that's the whole point  Its been 12h for 285drks and they are not denominated yet. 0 anonymized. If you ask me, It's not working. Change Darksend rounds in options to 1. That is the temp fix until we get a new version. |

Promotion time but please warn people not to increase darksend rounds to more than 1 round in Win version. (maybe linux and mac too, if someone wants to confirm).

I can't believe that no one is checking the files with: https://www.virustotal.com/en/You put yourself on high risk if you don't check files you download. If there was a virus people would have long reported it by now  No because no one checked those files. Sure we all have very high trust in drk dev and team but thats not a good thing when it comes to security. even them can become infiltrated you never know. camo: SSD or HD? SSD are no good choose for a backup. Use a real HD when possible. I am not sure how you know "no one"'checked the files. And if it was a virus more than just camo would be having a problem. |

It is automatic, but it may take a while to start depending on network conditions, number of coins you own, etc. It's not, by default anomizacion is OFF have to change a parameter in the conf file : -enabledaemondarksend=1 Hmmm or for only the deamon... and not the qt..?! Daemon is off by default because that is what exchanges, pools, and other entities that probably don't want their coins mixed will use. Normal end users normally use the qt client so it is on by default in that case. |

wallet.dat continues to grow. payment to self confirmed. This isn't how it worked on testnet... But RC4 is still a minority on the realnet, so that doesn't really mean anything.
That is in line with my experience yesterday on testnet. Payment to self is the just the coinsplitting that happens predenomination. The wallet.dat is growing because the coins are splitting into many address. I got several payments to self before denomination began on testnet(v24). Thing is -- since the coinsplitting is only 1 time every 10 blocks this takes a long time if you have a lot of coins in your wallet. |

Still waiting here. I did get a 'payment to yourself' for -0.001. No denomination yet though. Me too. Got a "payment to yourself" - i think that creates the 0.001 to pay for transact fees. I have payment to yourself 846e161d386fdae8c1617aab61b295061d892e0d50969fc7830c12887c39d39b No denom yet Denomination can take a while -- on the lastest testnet version it took near 3 hours for a few thousand coins. On mainnet we need masternodes to update AND for lots of people to run the new client or there won't be partners for coinjoin (part of the denomination process). |

Updated mn, but I need to verify the amount as it is on a remote client. Downloaded the 10.x client for the home pc, are there any settings I need to pay attention to when starting the masternode?
Amount of drk to keep anonymized should be 0, or how? Should I have installed 9.x? (afaik there is no masternode start command in that)
Currently my client is asking for a password upon startup, which I didn't give yet as I do not want to anonymize the balance.
There is a disable Darksend check box if you are using the qt and it is disabled by default in the daemon. |

Same question to you. well i thought something was wrong reading those debug msgs (like 'transaction not valid and such'). Or is this normal ? A lot of debugging lines where added by Evan during the test phase and he just probably forgot to remove all of them. You coins will eventually show up as anonymized. So long as that happens then there is no problem. |

How do you disable Darksend in windows qt wallet (masternode)?
-enabledaemondarksend=0 in command line?
There is an option in the GUI under settings. Just check "disable Darksend". |

There is no pump and dump scheme here, stop jumping on puppet accounts and spreading nonsense it won't help you nor damage DRK. It's Wednesday here in a few hours, what timezone is Evan in? Pretty sure he is MDT which is -6 now ... but even if it is not out today is that really an issue? Rather him wait a couple more days and fix the known bugs -- then release too early and then need to revert or something. |

1. RC4 comes out. Little pump to celebrate but very short, maybe 1 day long. When people start to realize that price reached it's high (pumping time has ended) they will start dropping one by one.......So who disagrees? I´m in this market out of technical interest, not to make money so I´ll be holding (since most of my holdings are in a masternode anyway). But I don´t see RC4 causing much more than a 20 to 30% revaluation however good it is. DRK is all about the long hold -- once the tech is solid and it starts to solidify itself as THE anonymous coin then the price will naturally rise. Short term pumps based around events no matter the % increase are not really that important. |
