Price is rather odd. One would except at least some spike no? I'm not even a trader, but a holder, but this is slow.

missing outlook

Think long-term type thing?

we got a working system, now its all about projects using this system

darkmarkets and additional pr would help

It is going to take some time for scepticism to disappear, we are in the process of updating the network once we have a fully updated network and people can see anon transactions on mainnet, and Kristov finishes his review the market will start to believe we have a fully anon solution and people that need it will start testing it.  So it is a process, right now we should focus in having a successful launch and updating.

Agreed, best approach? Some new articles? How to get companies to adopt is key.

i remember evan saying that he has media at his hands. lets see what the coming weeks bring.

kristofs review could help too. but apart from that the last rc2/3 fiaskos destroyed some positive sentiment that has to be gained again.

I followed these instructions to the letter, but when I do darkcoind masternode list | grep <insert my ip here> I get a blank command line. Do I need to do masternode start from my local machine?

Crypto overall is having a bad burrito day.

Just give it some time, we will probably have some more shitty days ahead.

Yeah, I'd rather make sure everything goes smoothly before drawing media attention. We have only had RC4 for a few hours and still need the majority of the MN to update, let alone see if any major bugs populate on mainnet and how payouts happen. There's still plenty of sour taste after the last attempts to release.

Still waiting here. I did get a 'payment to yourself' for -0.001.

No denomination yet though.

Me too. Got a "payment to yourself" - i think that creates the 0.001 to pay for transact fees.

For all new MN's to be paid, people have to mine on a pool that supports the new system.

http://mining.darkcointalk.org is now supporting the new MN system. Please consider registering an account there and mining if you are a miner.

Did you participate in testnet? How long does it usually take to auto-denominate?

Yes you have to "masternode start YOURPASS" in local machine.
if you got message " masternode successfully started" you directly should see the result with your "grep" command

Chill people, most of the network isn't even on the new client yet... You can't expect denomination to work when 80% of the MNs are being rejected because they're still old...

Updated mn, but I need to verify the amount as it is on a remote client. Downloaded the 10.x client for the home pc, are there any settings I need to pay attention to when starting the masternode?

Amount of drk to keep anonymized should be 0, or how? Should I have installed 9.x? (afaik there is no masternode start command in that)

Currently my client is asking for a password upon startup, which I didn't give yet as I do not want to anonymize the balance.

There is a disable Darksend check box if you are using the qt and it is disabled by default in the daemon.

When updating masternodes the darkcoin.conf file is the key, if you are in the local/remote setup your local darkcoin.conf should already have masternode=1, in this version that means the client wont denominate so no worries, also dont unlock your wallet on launch is not necessary. Just use the right darkcoin.conf, cancel when requested to unlock wallet, go to console, masternode start passphrase and you are done, obviously assuming you already updated the remote server.

Yes. Was pretty fast in testnet using v.21 to 23, but last testnet version v.24 did not denominate properly for me.

It's going to be on pools to update. If they don't, old MN's will be selected. Everyone has to make sure the pool they are mining on has updated.

This pool supports the new system!
