Best case scenario:

Roger Ver and BU succeed in splitting BU off of core, Roger Ver sells all his Bitcoin to support the new BUtcoin, BUtcoin fails miserably shortly thereafter as miners rush back to BTC (the chain the majority of services and users will continue to use even if enough miners momentarily move to BU to cause the fork) and because of the way BU is currently designed if the original Bitcoin chain ever gets more work than the BTU chain, the entire BTU chain will get reorganized (aka deleted- LMAO a great example of how shitty BU implementation is) leaving Roger Ver with nothing on a worthless chain.

I love how Roger Ver's name was probably the main selling point for this coin, but now that BU is being exposed for what it is he has lost any remaining credibility within the BTC core community. Interesting times ahead for BTC, price drop today is no doubt related to the BU vs SegWit battle in some way or another.

I imagine qtum will support BU since Roger Ver is a backer?

It sounds like you forgot your password or 2FA and got locked out of your account? So support is going to have to manually verify your identity through other means and then reset your PW/2FA.

Have they not even gotten back to you during this time or have they just not resolved the issue yet?
 
Because, to be fair, it would make sense to me that it takes longer to get support on something that requires manual security verification and accessing your account to reset your PW/2FA vs something that is almost completely automated (account registration without the extra levels of verification for fiat deposit/withdrawal is pretty much entirely automated and that must be what you did if you were verified in a single day, right?).

If they haven't even responded back to you, then I completely understand the frustration.

The only risk is them revealing something they don't want to reveal.

Qtum can be large project in top 10, but when can we see the addresses for funds raised during the ICO? Qtum can replace Litecoin as a top 10 giant.

One thing is for certain, blockchain technology as a whole is steadily growing in value, recognition, purpose, and use. There is no other alt (not counting ETH) positioned as well as ICN to potentially take advantage of that right now IMHO.

I think the timing of ICN is perfect too. It is not surprising to me there are index fund type projects popping up right now and not before, the market is beginning to mature to a point where this is feasible.

Not that long ago you would be foolish to hold anything other than BTC long-term and most things you wouldn't want for more than quick pump and dump. There were few, if any, alts that provided significant advantages over or unique features compared to BTC.

Now that has changed and we can see certain altcoins carving out niche markets for themselves by providing unique and specialized utility. I would argue the anonymity coins like monero and dash were the first to really do this for themselves, but ethereum is what opened the gates for a lot of others. With ethereum's tech there are so many new possibilities and we see markets forming around dAPPs, smart contracts, DAOs, etc. There are also storage coins (Storj, Sia), computing coins (Golem), decentralized global networks (MaidSafe), decentralized social media platforms (Steem), decentralized prediction markets (Augur), and more.

Basically, there are finally enough quality projects that tap different markets (so as not to compete with each other in some approximation of a zero-sum game) to form a viable crypto index fund.

It's a simple question, but there is an obvious reason why they might choose to ignore it. The fact we even have to ask says something, as it is a standard practice to provide some transparency. Every other project of this scale does it. Then again, this isn't the first time they have shown they might be playing above their level.

Also the fact this thead is so devoid of activity outside of the back-and-forth between us and stackoverflow and the press-releases from qtum's account is a sign of how "successful" the ICO was here on BCT. If it was a success here, there would be a lot more investors demanding the info I am asking for- just like they do, would do, and have done for other projects when the transparency is not provided.

Have they posted addresses showing the funds they raised yet? Because otherwise there is no proof whatsoever the ICO was a success, they can say whatever numbers they want. We've seen this in the past with scams many times, which is why every legit project these days has no qualms with revealing the funds for independent verification. It is really, really, beyond super easy to post proof of the funds if they have them, so the only reason not to is to hide something.
