In opinion Amazon will be more interested in sponsoring the IPL title as the tournament is scheduled at the same time when they have their Great Indian sale. But, I do not think they would be willing to pay the same amount as VIVO did, BCCI has to compromise with the amount they are asking if they want to have a title sponsor for IPL.
The problem is that Amazon doesn't need a costly option such as the IPL. Amazon is already the second largest online retailer (with the gap between them and the no.1 ranked Flipkart less than 1%), and they are very popular in India. Vivo paid so much for sponsorship, because they are not among the market leaders in India (mobile market in India is dominated by Xiaomi and Samsung), and they wanted to increase their market share. Yes, this makes sense that Amazon is already on top and would not do so. Patanjali seems to the one of the rights in this zone if they are ready to pay and good amount for the sponsorship and also, they have some good market to capture as well in various segments. The mostly likely of them would be the highest bidder among Baiju, Coca Cola India and Amazon. Even Patanjali is on the run for bid. The only question is how close would be the final bid to the VIVO's schedule sponsorship of 440 crores. My conservative guess is that it is going to be somewhere around ₹100 crore, which would mean a decrease of 75% to 80%. Byju's recently entered in to a sponsorship deal with the BCCI for international matches, but I don't think that they have enough reserve funds remaining to go for another deal. Coke/Amazon may not be interested in such an expensive deal, because they don't need it. Patanjali maybe interested, but for them the potential returns from any such deal may not be that great. Pakistan really like to create a thrilling finish for the fans , Yasir Shah finally took the wicket of Jos Buttler but England just need 13 runs to win the match. If Pakistan could score another 50 runs more in the second innings it would have been interesting and England does have a long batting line up with Chris Woakes chipping in at the right moment and scoring a valuable match winning half century and i hope he gets the man of the match award for his all round performance. They had enough run on the board to defend. Team Pakistan always depends on their bowler than their batsman. The last 2 wicket of Pakistan added 30+ run which was bonus for them. I will say poor performance by the pakisthani bowler. It disappointing for the Pakistani fan they completely faliled in the second innings.
