301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] BetBase SHARES | Invest in Bitcoin gambling | Escrow by RHavar on: December 08, 2016, 03:01:42 PM
...

You said you will fund up to 30 BTC of the bankroll. Not even close to enough. Players like to martingale, you can't martingale with a max win that low.

10k bets is a small amount (right now at about 12.5k), most sites do many times that daily. The only thing that actually matters is volume, which for some reason is not publicly available.

Moneypot has a limit of 20 BTC max win, that's even smaller.

Sure, sure, so most casinos had 100k bets daily from their very beginnings. Cheesy

Love trolls

Any next reason why this ICO sucks, WhyThisICOSucks? Cheesy

Moneypot accepts max wins up to 1% of the bankroll now.  I'll make sure an update gets done to reflect that change on the FAQ page.

Not attacking, just curious, are you saying that you will be accepting 30 BTC max wins for Betbase?

edit; Also just a headsup, Jackpotracer owns an app but is not a Moneypot Owner.

How can you take shots at Bitvest for 'not properly managing the max wins' while praising BetKing who had the highest volatility and max wins set in the industry?

I'm guessing it's because BetKing performed above expectation allowing investors to win and BitVest did not.

You are supposed to be a legitimate review site and yet you are basing your decisions off of fallacies.

edit; Directed towards bitcoingamblingreviews

You shouldn't consider only the max win amount. You should compare it against the size of the bankroll. If you are a casino owner and you can lose up to 10% of your bankroll in just one bet, you should be ready to see massive drawdowns and anticipate that the bankroll may be drained dry and clean deadly fast.

Exactly...

If I recall correctly, BetKing was offering somewhere around 450 Bitcoin Max bet when the bankroll was at 4500 Bitcoin?  If this max bet won, regardless of what you had invested, you would stand to lose 10% for the bet and another 2.5% (?) for the commission for -12.5% of your investment from one bet.

So I'm not quite following what reasoning you are explaining for the praise for BetKing and dislike for Bitvest.

The reason for praising BetKing seems to be evident. Investments in this casino returned as much as 44% while Bitvest returned only losses so far. Maybe they are not as provable as they pretend to be, maybe it was pure luck, even twice, but no matter how you look at it, profits as well as losses are real. I wouldn't be quite happy with losses either.

So I guess it does come down to the bolded part of my original quote?

To take it further, we'd be glad to do an actual interview if you wish for Moneypot.com.

We're not into paying for reviews which 99% of review sites consist of these days.

310  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where Can I invest in Bitcoin Casino? on: November 30, 2016, 11:35:00 PM
Betking would be the most profitable bitcoin casino to invest in right now. Lots of whales and albeit the not very consistent volume still attracts big bets like 200 bitcoins each or even more regularly. Your other options would be crypto games and bitvest.

Don't forget MoneyPot, which allows you to invest in many casinos at once. And you can create your own as well.
I'd "invest" in moneypot's bankroll, as well as crypto-games.net.  Profits seem to be steadily increasing.

It is true that moneypot investments are steadily increasing? As per this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.msg17025717#msg17025717 Moneypot is not doing good of investor point of view for last few months and investors even discontinued the investment in moneypot. I also withdraw my investment from moneypot and waiting for good time to enter again.

Moneypot's profits have gone down due to some lucky whale betting and jackpots in the last 2 months but are still up ~+120 bitcoin after 11 months.

I still believe it's a great opportunity as betting results have no memory, and some people love to enter here as an entry point to invest as they believe profits are 'due'.
311  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io |November Prizes!|🎲 DICE★PLINKO★C.O.R.E. on: November 30, 2016, 11:09:21 PM
12AM Eastern Time Zone.

The follow numbers will be assigned:

1st place -  0.01-40
2nd place - 40.01 - 64
3rd place - 64.01 - 80
4th place  - 80.01 - 88
5th place - 88.01 - 92
6th place - 92.01 - 96
7th place - 96 - 99.99

A future bet Id will be selected.

The result of the bet id will be used to determine the winner.  If for example the bet Id selected was 675,000,000, then https://www.moneypot.com/bets/675000000 would dictate that 3rd place is the winner based on 75.25 being the result.

In the case that the bet id selected is not a simple dice bet, the next bet id will be used (675,000,001 in this hypothetical example) until a simple dice result is known.

A few have inquired so I thought I would post it here.

If you are one of the heavy investors that are being automatically divested from Betking and wish to move a large investment into Moneypot, please private message me and we can set something up to allow for higher security and control.

Still waiting on answer as to when we can see v2.0?

The answer is 'Soon'.

It's being worked upon, but we're not going to rush it before it's ready.  Therefore giving any type of set date would just be foolish.

317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] BetBase SHARES | Invest in Bitcoin gambling | Escrow by RHavar on: November 29, 2016, 03:16:29 PM
I really don't know about that. ^

For Moneypot, Custom coding is easily done for any developers and we are able to set up interested people with developers for hire.

As for the API, it was originally built by Ryan (the one who is evaluating your code base) and has an additional 11 months past that of work done to the API with new changes taking effect soon.

BetBase seems to have been made within the last few months.

Also, while true that the risk is left to the investors, we are heavily invested as well.

I believe self-proclaimed 'better than' statements should be withheld allowing the actual people to decide.

Beyond that, Good luck with the project Smiley
