302  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling my bitcoins cheaper than exchange through paypal... on: October 21, 2011, 07:05:35 PM
It's not a scam. It's gambling and the rules are clearly written there. You can spend $5 without receiving a single bitcoin.

but you can spend 5 cents and receive 5 bitcoins...
cannot everyone to win.
for each + have -

whem you trade in mtgox what happen? if you are on profit then someone is on lose. so mtgox trade is a gambling too?

i very like his idea.
303  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling my bitcoins cheaper than exchange through paypal... on: October 21, 2011, 05:01:17 PM
You don't even need to purchase anything so it's definitely not a scam. Just use: "freecredit50"

maybe this is a option for the admin. I not see where to add freecredit50 Smiley

306  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling my bitcoins cheaper than exchange through paypal... on: October 21, 2011, 03:54:43 PM
Yes it is a not scam. It is a fair way for everyone to win a cheap item IF the site not have a autobot that will automatic bid...

I not say that this site have a autobot but many other have.
307  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe bitcoin IS born to be a kind of investment on: October 17, 2011, 05:39:06 PM
The value of bitcoin fluctuate so much

Wrong. The value isn't determined by the exchange rates. You're confusing the two.

Purchasing power is the value of Bitcoin. It seems only more and more people are accepting it. Who gives a flying granny fart what the exchange rate is?

People who care only about the exchange rate are not using Bitcoin.

If you earn your Bitcoins and spend your Bitcoins, this little 'value' problem doesn't exist so much.

i not agree with you.
The goods that is selling for a bitcoins is not a free like a bitcoins. / this is the moment to say why someone think that bitcoin is a free? to mine you buy a hardware with a real money. so bitcoin is not a free currency arrived from nothing.

If I want to sell my pc for example i will need a money to pay my bills. If I sell it for a BTC i will want to exchange them to pay my bills. So I need to care for exchange rate. From other side I NOT will want to sell my pc below the exchange rate. Anyone ( maybe jjiimm_64 ) can give me a good reason why i need to do this and lose a money? first lost when sell below the exchange rate then lost in a exchange/transfer fees.
308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoin7.com is really hacked? on: October 17, 2011, 03:56:37 PM
This sort of thing is really bad for cryptocurrency. Makes you wonder if it's safe to keep money or coins anywhere other than your wallet.

I don't keep coins on a trading site for very long (long enough to sell, only), but I do keep real money (speculating purposes). But I use Mt Gox, and for all the flaming of that exchange, they do have a very stringent security set up now.

ooo please... mtgox was hacked 2-3 time to now.

314  Economy / Lending / Re: "Reputation" Loans on: September 30, 2011, 05:20:20 PM

I didn't say that someone taking a reputation loan is definitely a scammer, but that just because they paid it back does not mean that they are trustworthy.  I've also said not to trust people based off of their post count.

You are correct. My point is that I provide a information for me before to get a loan. They not will allow on everyone to get a loan.
315  Economy / Lending / Re: "Reputation" Loans on: September 30, 2011, 05:02:47 PM
Or are you saying it's best just to leave rep-building to actual trades?

^^^ This

Someone who takes a loan out to get their reputation up could easily be doing it to be able to scam more easily at a later time.

You think this.
This men sell on lost https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=41888.0 to build his reputation. By your logic he want to scan more easy in the future?

I build a reputation in ebay from years. By your logic this mean that i want to scam someone?

Just many posts and activity in the forum not exactly mean trust. Everyone can talk. The real actions build a reputation.
316  Economy / Lending / Re: "Reputation" Loans on: September 30, 2011, 04:58:00 PM
I would not bother to trust anyone who has taken out a "reputation" loan and paid it back.  Taking a loan for the point of getting the money and paying it back just a few days later to provide you are trustworthy doesn't prove a thing.  If anything it allows for scammers to get some reputation pretty easily.

Not exactly.

To receive a loan you need to meet some requirements. So after I apply for my loan and IBB approve my application, yes for 1 day back not so many but this mean that they give me a some trust for this. They not will allow to everyone to apply fir a loan, get and back for nothing.

Second my reason is to win the Treasure Chest Smiley
317  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] $40 Godaddy gift card on: September 30, 2011, 04:51:36 PM
PM sent.

I answer you but it seems you are not only. I cannot wait you.

This is few hours offer. I can buy what I need with PP but want to use a few btc and grow my trade reputation here with +1 Smiley
I not will send first btc if you cannot prove yourself. I will pay your btc after I use the gift card. This mean almost immediately after I receive it.

Saykor
