301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does a perfect ICO Team looks like for you? on: October 09, 2019, 01:34:33 PM
A quantity does not determine a quality. I think the perfect team is if we look individually, each of them has enough experience and has a good history in their respective fields. To build a new project, the core team of them must have at least 10 years or more experience to make their project successful. Although there is no guarantee of their background, but with the various experiences they went through, this could be an attraction for investors in investing their funds.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 09, 2019, 12:39:34 PM
Point number one is the main point that causes many people to fail in investing. People who are planned are the luckiest people because if their profit targets have been reached, they will not fall asleep and start thinking about plans for future investments. But, not with greedy people, they will do the opposite and will wait without certainty the target of their investment. Even in a condition, even if the target they want has been achieved, they will continue to take risks again without careful planning.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lydian Lion Token - LiveLife platform on: September 30, 2019, 12:01:18 PM
but for me, i don't want to invest in this project because there is no info about the team and the website look not attractive
Yes, you are right. They have a good vision, mission and roadmap. But unfortunately the team behind this project is anonymous. In my opinion, it would be better if their team was transparent, so investors did not hesitate to contribute to their ICO. Nowadays transparency is needed if you want to get a lot of trust from supporters and investors.

We just work on different cooperations regarding the issue in presenting ourselves to the world,

Most things regarding the project are still not released but you can find detailed information about the platform we're building in our whitepaper,

And our team is presented in our whitepaper as well, also most of us were never public in the crypto scene but the project is more about creating real-life connections to value them through a crypto asset,

It's not the best announcement, but most pages ask an announcement on bitcointalk.org so this is more a "must-do" for now,

The announcement topic was created by another member and not me in person so you'll have to check our whitepaper for detailed information,
Also, we have a news section on our website which will give public releases of progress in development with time,

The ICO is ongoing so there is a lot more to publish and let people know about us, we're new, but we'll sort out everything needed for sure,

Ok. Thank you for your explanation about that. But there is something I want to know about the stage of selling your token. Do you have a softcap target on ICO fund disbursement and what if the ICO fund acquisition does not reach the target? Do you continue to build this project or stop developing and returning all funds to investors?

The project will be going on anyways, it's not clearly described in the whitepaper, but all tokens which ain't gonna be sold are going directly into the LiveLife foundation from which it's being further distributed over the platform. So the project is something that is going to be developed in any possible way,

We are already working on the platform and there is a plan on releasing it in stages, so after the first release of one of the apps all others will follow, the only problem of not reaching the soft cap with the ICO could be that the release stages after the ICO end can be extended in length,

The tokens will always have a platform where they will be worth and after all, we plan to go onto exchanges in February 2020 so there will always be a use for them in some way,
So, it means in other words the project very needs funds from ICO and ICO will continue to be extended until the target funding has been reached, right? I think it has an effect on your roadmap, because if the funding target has not been reached at the right time, there will be a lot of time wasted to raise funds and progress will not go according to the roadmap. What is your solution to overcome this?
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A quick disturbing question on: September 29, 2019, 05:22:11 PM
If a coin does not have volume in a market, then it is very likely that they will also be delisted from it. Not having a volume indicates that no one is interested in the coin. But there are some projects that overcome this problem by using a liquidity providers to show that their coins remain active in the market. I think if they are serious in building, of course they will do anything to achieve their goals, and not neglect important aspects.

306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloudmining experience on: September 29, 2019, 03:54:07 PM
If you do the math, you'll see that every cloud mining don't worth

It's very very simple, you'll only gain money if the coin rise in value, so why not buy the coin directly?

Why do you prefer to gain your coins in a illusion that you are "mining", you will only mine if you have your asic, gpu, cpu or if you rent one and can mine the coin you want
I totally agree with you. At present cloud mining does not provide any benefit at all. Even when I first tried it, I only got my wasted time waiting for the coins I was mining. When you think about it, I'd better buy instant on the market instead of waiting very long with the same value.  But if buying physical equipment like GPUs looks still profitable if we mine the right coins.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust the market or the business owners? on: September 29, 2019, 03:41:42 PM
Which crypto do you trust more, the one that is traded freely and nobody knows where the rate will go tomorrow (like Bitcoin) or the one that is under control of its developers (like Ripple, more or less)?

Where you would invest?
I prefer projects that have clear and directed developers and have a lot of experience in managing companies. In my opinion, with the development carried out constantly and arranged, it can increase the opportunity for getting the huge profits in the future. This is called the long-term goal investment.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ELYNET | South Korean Telecom Giant Blockchain Mobile Network on: September 29, 2019, 03:29:55 PM
This project may be another scan project, i asked in there telegram group if there won't be an IEO the next thing i see is that i was removed from the group, that question doesn't call for a removal

most likely your question is uncomfortable for them and they have something to hide,I will try to ask this question and look at their reaction
I was actually shocked when i got removed, it was like a dream. The question is not a threat to them even if it's a scam project, the question is a yes or no answer.
Do you have proof of this? I really did not expect something like this to happen. I think asking about when IEO will be held is a reasonable question from an investor. If this really happens, then they need to improve their way of responding to the community properly and not just to ban members
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better for you guys ? on: September 29, 2019, 02:30:27 PM
Doing IEO on the top exchange but public response is flat, or IEO on the exchange is not credible or shit exchange but the public is enthusiastic about welcoming it ?
I think the question is rather absurd, because generally IEO on top exchange actually has a very enthusiastic response from the public. Because they already have excellent credibility and reputation, that's why they get top positions among other exchanges.

311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: September 29, 2019, 01:53:03 PM
Back in the day, Vitalik once said that crypto will be going to zero. There has been many concerns about the longevity of cryptocurrency as a serious form of money, given that it's relatively unstable within the mainstream world. It's been 10 years since Bitcoin was created where crypto has had its ups and downs. However, many are afraid that crypto will be going to zero as the blockchain hype ends and governments start rolling their own digital currencies. When we take a look at most cryptocurrencies on the market, most of them aren't even useful at all. Perhaps, the only one is Bitcoin but it's terrible as a currency for daily transactions.

Which is why, I'm starting to wonder if crypto will really go to zero in the future? If this happens, then most of us will lose our hard-earned money as crypto becomes worthless. What are your thoughts? Huh
Instead of thinking it would be zero, I instead speculated that it would become a hero soon. Vitalik can say that, but the one who decides is not only from one person but everyone. The government may make its own digital currency, but that does not mean coins/tokens that are free, open and uncontrolled will die. All have advantages and disadvantages. And all we have to do is choose what we will use in the future.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ELYNET | South Korean Telecom Giant Blockchain Mobile Network on: September 29, 2019, 03:43:20 AM
This is really interesting project. When will you begin the token sales phase? Is there a possibility you have an IEO?
Becoming the Mobile Blockchain Revolution with Full telecom services is a briliant idea and good concept. I am really looking forward to it.
After I read on their website, they have no information when they will sell the tokens, maybe they haven't thought about selling the tokens at this moment. I'm waiting for this Korean project, I am very sure that they will succeed, because so far many Korean projects have been successful.
You are right. Most Korean projects are serious about building their projects. Are you also interested in investing in this project? I think this project has very good potential in the future if they can realize it according to the roadmap that has been prepared. I will wait for the date of their token sale.

I agree, the potential is massive once this launches. Imagine people no longer having to depend on their local carrier and make ElyNet as a universal sim wherever they go. This can help mass adoption right here.
Exactly!! This is what is called the mass adoption, the rest depends on the team that runs the project. Are they able to fulfill the mission and vision they make and how useful it is when it has actually been realized in the community. Most projects often fail in terms of implementing them in the community, but I believe this project is able to achieve that.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: September 29, 2019, 03:37:36 AM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?
Sometimes there is something that does not go the way we want it to. But I am sure the team's project also didn't expect bad things for the hunters. The person who decides on the price of the token is the market. Even the project team didn't have the control to manipulate it. So, it is natural that many token prices fall greatly when listing on the market rather than prices during the ICO stage. One of the factors is that the ICO funds received were not optimal and all tokens were not sold.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins have been around from the start on: September 29, 2019, 03:18:03 AM
If i am right shitcoins have been in existence since the earlier days of coins like bitcoin and litecoin, some coins came into crypto space as early as 2011 and they vanished into thing air, failed project or scam maybe, but now that crypto is been heard of all around the globe so what do you expect? scammers will invade of cos but these won't stop good projects from been born even when 90percent of projects are failing, my advice is just be sure of what you are investing on, make sure they have what it takes and have it at the back of your mind that its still a risk you've taken, anything can happen

Coins become shitcoins, because the developers stopped developing the platform, investors dumping the coin because they are not getting the profit that they expect to receive, and we have so many coins like that since the beginning of Cryptocurrency.
I agree with your first point, but not with the second point. Because a good project should be able to manage all of its plans perfectly. If they fail to target profit in the first stage, they must be prepared for plan B. From this we can see how seriously they want to build the project and dedicate everything towards it.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: September 29, 2019, 03:13:28 AM
when investors and the crypto community already believed, but the team said differently!
- The team did not respond well to the crypto community.
- The team is very shady and does not provide updates about their projects on the telegram & social media channels.
- The team plans to take a vacation
- The team blocked accounts one by one from each community who questioned about the development of the project.
- and finally you are banned in this group  Grin

it's so annoying, how you feel?  Roll Eyes
I somewhat disagree with this point "The team plans to take a vacation". Do you really think after everything they do, like having done a lot of product launches, making massive campaigns or promotions and spending a lot of money on their projects. Then when they want to take a vacation for a few days means they run away? I don't think so, because this is very relative. We must be able to read the situation beforehand and not just judge.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: September 29, 2019, 03:07:34 AM
i have got around $1500 to invest in coins which coins do you guys suggest to invest in for quick money ? a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.

I'm thinking of investing $1k into BTC as its low risk but I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it
I don't really understand the way you think. Because if you want to invest in cryptocurrency, you should know that cryptocurrency has a high risk. So you have to prepare for the worst possible thing that happens. There is no big benefit that you can get by accepting a small risk. High risk, high return. You better do your own research and be patient with the growth of your investment.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ripple not dead? on: September 28, 2019, 09:34:29 AM

If the only loser in 2019 out of 2600 suspects is Ripple, how is the community cleaning up this f--ing mess that we find ourselves wallowing in?

How can you speculate like this? Ripple has a strong community and also a big investor.
I think it's very difficult if Ripple really dies. Even in the past few weeks XRP is the one of tokens that got the biggest increase.
We cannot underestimate large projects like this. Their team background is also very clear and they have a pretty good dedication.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: September 28, 2019, 09:22:46 AM
Depending on your long-term or short-term investment decisions. Depending on the right time to choose the biggest profit. I choose a long-term investment plan
I agree with you. Do you really think that a short period of time is the right thing to invest? I don't think so, because the investment is suitable for long-term targets. Meanwhile, if you just want a short term, it's better to do daily trading. If we compare it, it is very clear that in most cases investors will lose if they only target in the short term.
